Go online and google the spa to see if any negative comments appear on sites like CitySearch or Yelp. Also, contact the spa to verify who will be overseeing the treatment. Generally a doctor, nurse, dermatologist, plastic surgeon or trained aestheticians are all acceptable candidates. |

According to Dr. Raphael Darvish, founder of Skinpeccable Spa in Brentwood, CA, most brides ARE doing their research and planning ahead by scheduling a variety of cosmetic treatments well before their wedding day. "Though some people show up the week before their wedding to do procedures, most people plan ahead of time and do a combination of things." he notes. "We have had a lot of brides that come in for fillers and Botox. We also had quite a number of brides-to-be who have been doing laser treatment series ahead of the big day. Treatments they have done include IPL Photofacials, Laser Hair Removal, and Laser Vein Removal." |
