You're stressed, you can't sleep and
the caterer still hasn't signed off on the
reception contract. Before you launch
into bridezilla mode, reward yourself
with a trip to the spa. From Botox
injections to energizing beauty

and feeling refreshed (even if the
florist bails at the last minute).

How soon before my wedding day should I schedule a spray-on tanning or makeup session?
Spray-on tanning applications take time to dry, so most salons and spas usually recommend that after the session you wait to bathe for at least eight hours so the pigment time to set. While 24 hours should be enough time, WeddingChannel.com deputy editor Summer Krecke recommends that you schedule your appointment at least 48 hours before your wedding day just to play it safe. "I've found that the tanning pigment may smudge your clothes up to a day afterward, so it's a good idea to scrub vigorously with soap from head to toe once it's safe to shower," she says. "Otherwise you may run the risk of staining your wedding dress."

Spray-on makeup, on the other hand, can be directly applied to your face the day of your wedding. This style of makeup is long-lasting, sweat-resistant and photographs extremely well. The only downside is that this technique tends to be more expensive than a normal makeup application.
