The SPA WEEK Media Party Reaches New Heights In Pampering...

hen you earn a reputation for throwing one of the best parties in a city where nothing but the best is accepted, you're expected to deliver on that reputation — and the Fall 2009 Spa Week Media Party did not disappoint. More than 300 top media professionals in the health, beauty, fashion and travel industries showed up to de-stress and enjoy a staggering array of complimentary offerings.

The stars of the night were the spa treatment

cabanas. Tucked under flowing canopies and

illuminated by sensual spa lighting, the cabanas

provided party-goers with a wide array of

complimentary spa treatments from some of the

finest day spas in the country, including

Red Door, Caudalie, Homme Spa

and Feline Day Spa.

The Zen-filled evening was capped off by makeup applications by our Title Sponsor, jane iredale — The Skin Care Makeup, and gorgeous displays from Pevonia Botanica Skincare, The Diplomat Resort & Spa and the Wedding Channel.

The buzz in the room was electric, thanks to the awesome variety of Rioja wine that flowed all night long and the informative wine-tasting sessions that went with it. Guests also enjoyed three varieties of Belgian beer (including Stella Artois & Hoegaarden), courtesy of Anheuser Busch.

Last but certainly not least, the infamous Spa Week goodie bags were stuffed to the brim with dozens of exciting products — just enough to last until the next party.
