I really loved this place mainly for it's people and the actual services I received. I booked a hair color and cut, a head and scalp massage/treatment, a lunch, and a facial. All of these services were amazing. Here are a few things that I noticed that are minor but still have an effect on the experience and atmosphere: 1. My husband booked the services for me. He didn't know I could have a choice for lunch so I got a chicken salad. It was good but I would have chosen something different if he/we knew. 2. The bathroom light was out so I had to ask for a different bathroom and the front lady new it was out. It may not be her responsibility to change it and that's okay, but it's keeping up the facilities. 3. The coffee bar was an awesome in between perk but the area was either out of stock or wasn't put out onto the table. I looked in the drawers that were underneath but it was a bit disoriented. 4. My stylist was late that day for reasons that I didn't know (and none of my business) but she apologized and went right into her craft. She did amazing. I didn't mind that she was late. However, maybe some water could have been offered or I could have filled out the forms for the facial ahead of time to help fill in the time I was there. Overall, my experience was great. The small critiques I have doesn't reflect the people and services I received.

Fantastic first spa experience. I got a lash lift and tint by Kat Hucks, and she exceeded my expectations! Kat was very personable AND maintained professionalism - both of which are a rare packaged deal!! As someone with significant anxiety, I am grateful that I could chat with her as if we'd been friends for years and that I didn't find myself worrying or questioning her ability to converse while working on my lashes. She provided such an enjoyable and relaxing (very first) spa experience! I love my lashes and look forward to my next appointment ??

Overall experience was refreshing. Kat was amazing for my facial. However my mom’s experience was very different with another associate. When two people are trying to have a spa day together, the experiences should be very similar in what service is received. My moms hair was very oily after the facial due to not being fully wrapped around the hairline. Mine was protected. We shared what was done with each other and we both received very different facials. Also, the experience with the manicurists were very different while we sat side by side. My moms manicurist was very thorough and took her time, making it very enjoyable and relaxing. My manicurist didn’t exfoliate my hands and arms while my moms did. I felt my manicurist was very rushed as I was done and starting my pedicure a good 15-20 minutes before my mom was done with her manicure, to join me. This tells me something was done very differently. Although we paid for the same services, I don’t feel we both received the very same services. I decided not to say anything while we were there because it was my moms 70th birthday and I didn’t want to ruin it for her and for her to be stressed.

Sarah Allen is my stylest and I couldn't be happier. She takes the time to listen and give me an appropriate hair cut to match my age and face. I went in with a picture to reference, she translated that hairstyle to match my hair texture and face shape. I've only received the best compliments from everyone! I highly recommend Ms. Sarah Allen to anyone wanting a refreshed hairstyle! She's wonderful! I should add... I'm in my late 40's, busy with young kids, and I have very fine and thin hair. The cut she gave me adds volume and helps me to look younger, even with my random gray hairs!

This was my first time visiting the spa because my AWESOME hairstylist (Samantha Carlson) just moved over there. The spa is clean, comfortable, and has a wonderful lounge to wait in. They were installing new hair washing stations and the sink had a head rest so you don’t get that uncomfortable neck strain. I’ve already pre booked a massage and am looking forward to signing up for more of the services they offer!

Kati is incredibly skilled. She worked deep in my belly and gluts to release my extreme hip and leg pain. She combined multiple techniques like cupping and hot stones which increased blood flow. I left feeling vibrant and rejuvenated.

There wasn't a thing I didn't enjoy about this experience. Was fascinated that this was an all in one stop shop and may have to try out other services in the future. I went for a Hot Rock massage and upon check in was led right through the nail and hair salons into a nice relaxing waiting room. As for the massage, Angel was an absolute gem and took into account my preferences for essential oils, where I had the most tension, and my overall comfort level. She herself was 5 star and I will definitely be requesting her if and when I go back. The ONLY reason I dropped a star has more to do with personal preference after being spoilt rotten at a larger chain (the closest of which is HOURS away and all relaxation would die on the drive home). This star was lost strictly by comparison. I personally would have preffered if the lights were a little dimmer in the waiting room. The larger chain had a locker room to change into provided robes and slipper/sandal things and I saw where they have a potential for this but don't know if it's an upcoming feature or a change from covid.

Had a gift certificate for a Swedish message with hot stones and aromatherapy. It was my first ever massage and Daniel was amazing. I would have to say they need a new receptionist. Never asked if we wanted a robe and slippers. Front lady Did not greet us well. First appearance and attitude to a place you visit is the key to keeping a customer coming back. I have been at this place over a year ago. Understand owners have changed. This place has gone down hill. The service was ok. The main problem I had with this place is a couple of the massage therapists called out after we requested the ones we wanted. Nothing was said to us until after we had gotten our first face treatment then they had us with a man for massage. Don’t get me wrong he was a good massage therapist but when a client ask for a certain person and there are changes in who will be doing the service then we have a problem. They did not tell us of this change. Long story short. I will not go back to this place and we will be looking for a better atmosphere and better communication from another spa place.

I love Victoria’s Day Spa and I’m happy to spread the word. The spa itself is always clean and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I routinely come for massages with Carmen Egly. She is fantastic and can’t recommend enough! I visited the spa today for a first time waxing service with Kat Hucks. She was fantastic also and I look forward to seeing her again. I used this spa for all my wedding services in December and have been on several other occasions for spa days with my friends. Hannah Ikner is the new owner and is always pleasant and accommodating, especially planning for larger parties or special occasion services. There is nothing better than a spa day…. EXCEPT for a fantastic spa day! Book your appointment for some services. You won’t be disappointed!

I first started visiting for massages and now go to them for all my services. Sarafina has been doing an amazing job with my hair as I grow it back out. Highly recommend shellac manicures. I typically get gel manicures, but shellac feels much lighter and lasts just as long. My husband is a fan of facials and Barri did a great job with his sensitive skin.

I had a gift certificate for a classic mani/pedi. I scheduled fairly last minute online for a weekday evening without any issue. I had a short wait but the staff was super friendly and I was offered a beverage. Alexa did my mani and pedi and is so great! She did an excellent job, ensured both services were to my satisfaction and is just the kindest person. I really enjoyed talking with her and her professionalism. Although I didn’t pay for my services today because it was a gift, the published prices are very reasonable for a mani/pedi and I will absolutely be back! I wanted to hold off on a full review, as I have contacted the spa and have not received a response within a few days. Looks like my concern is not that important. This is hard to write because the beginning of my day was awesome. My husband booked me a full spa experience for my birthday. I met with Marissa for a scalp treatment, sugar scrub and massage. She was absolutely amazing. I then met with Barri for a facial, which was equally as amazing. I was initially schedule for a blowout, pedi and mani with Alexa. I had moved from AZ where I had my hair done religiously. I met with a cosmetologist a couple of months ago, but my hi-light and color was not anywhere near the quality I was used to, so I asked the salon if we could cancel the mani and blowout and Alexa could do hilights and color instead (goal was to keep the pedi). I did not know hilights on the front of my hair ONLY and a refresh color would take FOUR HOURS. I expressed that I needed more hilights in my front to help with greys, and her goal was to add additional hilights to the front, do color, and toner which would help my current hilights pop more. I thought we would also be able to stick with a full pedi, but she said she could not do this while doing just front hilights and color, so we did a nail trim, shape and color only. After FOUR HOURS, I left with a wet head, no cut, no pedicure. Paid EXTRA for this "service" to come home and find HALF OF MY HEAD WAS ORANGE. Had I not left with my hair completely wet (which she had another service, or I could have had a full dry) I would have seen ALL of the orange. Instead, I was charged extra, paid and did leave a tip (I am not a horrible person). I have simply asked the salon to refund the charge of my hair ONLY, as I am still waiting for an appointment with a salon owner to fix this current, horrible color, which I will also have to pay for. I have reached out to this spa and have not received any response. Good luck if you have an issue. I would recommend Marissa and Barri any day of the week :) ***Edit to ADD my reply: Incorrect. I had my hair done at another local place a couple of months earlier (I am happy to provide any and all receipts and will happily give you whatever you need). I HAVE hilights in my hair, professionally done, which Alexa said the toner would make brighter and blend in with the frontal hilights she was adding. I had lunch AFTER my facial and BEFORE I EVEN met with Alexa, as she was completing another service. I CAME BACK AT 3 AS TOLD and didn't finish until 7 (Hence 4 hours with Alexa).She painted my toes after she put foils on. I'd review that camera footage again and tell the story truthfully. You should do the right thing and refund for the horrific service. The other services were fantastic. I'd never come back and let you touch my hair. It is DESTROYED. **Adding again. I have been contacted by Conner Kincaid on Facebook, who sent a harassing message to me and discussed personal details from my hair service. Conner is in a relationship (per Facebook) with Luna Walley, the receptionist of the spa. I have informed the spa owner about the message. The owner forwarded me an apology he sent to her. Still haven't received an offer to be refunded at all for my hair service (only requesting hair, not the other services refunded), not even a portion, even after an employees boyfriend harassed me (personal details clearly given to him from the receptionist he is dating). If that doesn't tell you all you need to know about how they could care less about customers and their experiences, I don't know what else will.

My appointment was under Katelin BONNIVILLE. I had a horrible experience it was suppose to be for my birthday. The guy only rubbed me with oil there was no massaging. I spent 110$ on this all they did was offer a 10$ refund like that is gonna do anything. Do not go to this spa

In need of a last minute self care day. Called Victoria's and they got me in. Venus did my nails and Erin was my massage therapist. They both were wonderful. They were very personable and engaging. When booking I asked for a one hour session for microdermabrasion treatment and was told treatments are 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes for 100.00. I arrived on time and was out in 29 minutes. My husband called and he was told I checked in at 1:45 and left at 2:45. My cash receipt shows I checked out at 2:14 pm. After talking to Madison I was told to call back wed and speak to Hannah. No one could give me an answer as to why I received a 30 minute treatment when I asked for an hour treatment and still paid 100.00 plus a cash tip (SUCKER). I will never go back again. I went with my friend and daughter for her birthday. We were asked to come a few minutes early but when we got the reception was rude abs said we got there too early. The girl doing my daughters nails did not say one word to her. She definitely made it very uncomfortable and awkward for my daughter. Also, I think their pedicures are over-prices abs they don’t have massage chairs. The overall atmosphere is not relaxing.

I have heard nothing but great things about this spa and decided to buy my daughter a gift card for 5 massages for her birthday assuming she would like it. Well I was wrong. So I called the spa three days after I purchased it and explained the situation asking for a return. The answer I got was no with the explanation that I could use them myself or give them to someone else. The gift card is just shy of $300 which is a steep gift to give to someone else as I am a single father and while a few massages doesn’t sound like a bad idea, there are more import things I could spend that money on. So now I have to buy her something to replace it which is going to turn a $300 Birthday gift to $500 or $600. An event not within my budget. I can’t even begin to express how frustrated I am that such a reputable company has such poor customer satisfaction. It is surprising that a service based company clearly cares more about your money than providing you quality customer service and satisfaction. Keep that in mind when and if you choose to spend your money there. What a disappointment!!!!!! I will be sure to let people know where this company’s interest lies and clearly it’s not on the customer.

Went for body scrub, facial, manicure, pedicure, and massage. I would say for the price the quality was sub par. I have had much better massages, manicures, and pedicures. Facility did not provide the amenities that typical day spas in their range do. Everyone was pleasant with the exception of the receptionist when I tried to book the appointment originally. I will not be going back.

3/2019 Updated to 3 star review: [Original one star review below] There was some reluctancy but I'm very pleased to report that this establishment DID honor a refund. My reasons for not giving all 5 stars on my update: lack of communication and lack of professionalism. It took almost 2 months to get resolve on the situation and if there were better communication and professionalism, I would have happily updated my review to 5 stars. I have friends who still rave about this place. And while first impressions are HUGE but we can't let them be the end all - be all. My suggestion to you is, check it out for yourself. But with caution. Instead of spending a lot of $ out the gate, get something affordable for your first go and get a feel for the people and place. Your experience could be totally awesome. Original One Star Review Below: A friend of mine worked as a massage therapist at VDS a few years back and I had only heard good reviews. Fast forward to the week before Christmas I received a gift for services for over $300! I could not accept that gift, really, it was too much money and aside from the occasional massage and pedicure - the spa is not my thing, I honestly would not use that amount of services. I went to the spa with the receipt and I was informed that they have a strict "no refund" policy. Side note: an exception for refunds should be made for gift giving. The giver could have really great intentions but if the recipient does not want the gift, then they should have the option to receive a refund. I asked to speak to a manager, none was available. I left my name and phone number with the receptionist who assured me someone would call. I gave the benefit of the doubt that they were busy due to the holiday and called after Christmas and left my name and contact info on a message to discuss a refund. As of 1/14, over 3 weeks later - I have yet to receive a returned call. Then last week, I decided to wave my white flag and just use the services. Unfortunately, when I tried to call and schedule an appointment during normal business hours, no one answered. I left a message to contact me to schedule an appointment . It's been 7+ days later and I have not received no call back! This is extremely frustrating. First they tell me, no refund. Then I am informed someone will call me- never happened! One trip and two phone calls later,I have been denied a refund, and I have been unsuccessful at getting an appointment for services that I don't want. I'm sure the staff is great and are great at what they do - this is just a crummy situation. I am not pleased at how this has been handled and really don't know if I am going to eat the cost of $300+ or continue trying to get scheduled.

Because I was interested in visiting this spa with some family members for the holidays, on 11/26 I emailed the spa with some questions. They never responded to my email so I called today to inquire if they were accepting SpaFinder gift cards for their holiday specials & to make an appointment for after the holidays. The person who answered the call stated they did not because "the gift cards are already discounted". I felt this information should have been stated on their website upfront for those who may not have inquired prior to purchasing any cards. I was informed they were closed the 25th & 26th, but before I could inquire about an alternate date, the person hung up. I felt she was very rude & curt during the call. I don't have her name because she didn't bother to give it when she answered the phone.

After making an appointment for a 2:30 massage, I arrived ten minutes early to be ready for the masseuse. When my time came and went, I asked the front desk if my watch was coordinated with their clock. I was told the client ahead of me was late, and I'd have my full time once I was in the room. Two massage therapists came into the spa waiting room, got water for clients, and neither addressed me there as their next client. Maybe they didn't know they had a next client? After close to 20 minutes of not being seen, I decided to get dressed and leave. There was not going to be anything "relaxing" at that point. I asked for my gift certificate back, and asked why I wasn't texted or called IF my time was going to be intruded on by a LATE client? I won't go back. I wasn't given an option of changing my mind and rescheduling when they KNEW my appointment was going to be late. Having a senior dog, and coming in from Hampton, I deserved the option of still coming up or changing the appointment. Even with a 20% discount, it is not caring for someone's TIME.

Scheduled my wife the Mothers Day "Pamper Me" package weeks prior to get the best time. I ordered the appropriate lunch for my wife and my review is below: Pros- Lovely ladies that actually perform the services. For example, my wife enjoyed the conversations during the manicure. Cons- - The establishment was playing non-relaxing music during the entire 4 hours session. Not relaxing. - Wife requested eyebrows to be waxed a specific way and the lady did not perform requested service. My wife's request was minor at best. - Services seemed rush. Another example, go to manicure chair then immediately go to pedicure chair..not relaxing.."oh your done.?" rush to the facial room. - Management of the 4 hours "Pamper Me" was not planned. Wife arrived at 9:00 a.m and was not scheduled to eat until 1:00 p.m (I would recommend to break up the sessions with a lunch break in the middle) - Lunch was not correct. I specifically asked for a turkey croissant with just meat and bread and no dressing on the salad. Salad was correct. However, the sandwich had mayo and other stuff on it. My wife complained and the manager said "Your husband was not specific enough." I was offended and called. I was interrupted several times by the manager and told her to please do not interrupt me again. In closing, I would recommend the following: - Do not blame your customers for having the incorrect order. Regardless of who is to blame, try and get the order correct or do something to correct the action. "Can I get you another sandwich?", "I apologize, can I credit you another lunch for your next visit?" Something other than saying "Your husband was not specific enough." - I believe the atmosphere is suppose to be relaxing. At least, that is the representation I get from the website. I would recommend a different choice of music. "Boots with the fur" would be my last choice. Albeit, I do like that song while I am in the club/gym just not while I am trying to relax. The establishment has great potential! Just needs a little polishing. I can recommend and consult for my consultant fee. Thanks !

I think they have the worst, rudest receptionist. I'm afraid that she must be some part of management since other reviews I've read complain about the same thing. I called Saturday to make an appointment with a certain stylist, she was booked but totally free her whole day on Monday. I made an appointment for 9am on Monday. With problems going on...life, I called at 8:46am, with an apology, Monday morning and explained how sorry I was, but I needed to reschedule. The rude receptionist asked why, I told her there was no way I could get there by 9, she asked when could I get there, I said maybe around 9:15 she said fine. I got there at 9:22 and rude receptionist informed me that I was going to have to reschedule. I said ok fine, what time. She tells me tomorrow, Tuesday, I asked what about today, she said she was booked all day. I then asked her how, that when I called Saturday she was free the whole day. Remember they are not open on Sunday, so I'm not sure howthat happened, but. I really wish I would have never told my sister to get me a gift certificate here. Live and learn.

My mom and I went to get our nails done before my baby shower. Upon making reservations the receptionist was a little short but no big deal. When we arrived the building was clean and it had a pretty nice atmosphere. My mom did enjoy the facial and the pedicures were okay, but far from great for the price. That was about the extent of positive. The manicures were my worst problem. My cuticles looked just as bad when I left as they did before I arrived. Both my polish and my mom's polish either chipped or came off completely within hours of leaving or after showering. When I spoke with Victoria's they offered to repaint our nails or give us $10. I paid much more than that. I may would have been okay with that if it hadn't of happened to my mom, the lady in front of us the day we were getting our nails done, and other reviewers. I work 2 hours away from the spa and my baby shower was that weekend. At no point was it convenient or possible for me to go back because they were closed when I got off work. The manager was not understanding and more than extremely rude, as at one point she hung up on me. Yes, I was irritated, but at no point did I cuss or disrespect her. I asked for my money back as I read more reviews and found this is a common problem with this establishment. After weeks of fussing with them I still do not have my money back and am out everything I paid. I also had to spend more money to get them redone at a location closer to home. I have never dealt with such a high end establishment that has such rude management and low quality of service. They are way overpriced for the services you get and very unprofessional. I will not return for any service.

I've been coming to Victoria's Day Spa for years and always have a wonderful experience; I've done massages, pedicures and facials, all were great. My daughter also comes there for a child's mani/pedi and loves it!

I am a massage student that wanted to get a massage from somewhere id never been. It was great. The therapist listened to my concerns and problem areas and addressed them. Hot towels, the whole 9 yards. The whole atmosphere is pleasant. Next time I go for a pedicure, I'd like to try this place.

I went with a party of four the day before a wedding. The receptionist (or manager) was extremely rude. She may have been annoyed that two of the party members were running behind schedule. However, she interrupted our party to ask us if we had any issues because she heard that we weren't happy. Even if that was true, she should not have approached us in that manner. Very unprofessional. This spa is overpriced for what they offer. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff (minus the front desk) was pleasant. The massage and facial was nice, but the nail service was not up to par. The bride and her mother's nail polish did not last through the next day (her wedding day). Very disappointing.

I got an hour long Therapeutic Massage for Christmas from my Fiancé. He thought it would be nice because of my back pain. I was in HEAVEN the whole time. I've had many massages, most from low end places that charge $35 for an hour (which is right up my price alley), and one from a more upscale place that was pretty pricey. It's not surprising that Victoria's was way better than the $35 places, but it was a million times better than the expensive place too!! He only paid $70 of an hour I think, and it was so comfortable and relaxing. My masseuse was professional and used the perfect pressure and focused on the areas where I had pain. The atmosphere was very calming. I left on a could. I was SOOOO excited when I got another massage certificate from my Fiancé for my Birthday. I can't wait to book my appointment!!

Best service for the best price! This is a real salon, not the $15 cut by a beginner, lazy, un-fashionable stylists at the local corner store. I'm very transient due to my job, so I am familiar with trying to find a great place to get your hair done well at a decent price. I've been to salons all over the East Coast, some good, but many BAD. Victoria's gives me exactly what I want: cut & color, with attentive, TRAINED on CURRENT styling techniques, and friendly service at an acceptable price. Hannah has been my stylist for over a year. She is friendly, current in styles, and is able to take my recommendations/pictures and make them work for me! The pricing is much less than what I have paid at higher end salons, yet I have received better service & more compliments on my hair! For those of us that are willing to look great, want an updated and age appropriate style recommended by professionally trained stylists, Victorias is the best value for your dollar!
