Jared does an amazing deep tissue massage. He is very professional and knowledgeable at his job. I get bi-weekly massages here and he really helps my shoulders and back after 12 hr shifts.

I've been a member here for almost a year, but have not had a year of massages. They went through an accreditation period, then they needed Mausers, so it was impossible to get an appointment. Finally, when I started to get in, I started having billing issues. I was either overcharged or told a service was covered but always ended up with a balance. I finally decided to cancel last week, but wasn't confident that it had been taken care of. Sure enough, when I called today, they confirmed that I had not been cancelled. I was just charged last week but was told that they needed another payment to satisfy the 30 day notice. I haven't been in since April. I told the manager that I would just cancel the card. She then proceeded to charge my card but it didn't go through. I cancelled a credit card that I had on file, and when I pulled up my AmEx account that I never had on file with them, I saw a pending charge! They used a credit card that they did not have permission to use and charged my card 17 days early. Nobody can answer a question without the assistance of the manager, and she is never there! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS! But if you do and want to cancel your membership, cancel any card that you've ever used there, they store all of them!

Scheduled an appointment weeks ago. Got a call last week that the therapist I was scheduled for would be off and there were only male therapist available. Kept the appointment with a male (which I was clear from the beginning that I did not want) only to be called an hour before my appointment because the therapist would be leaving early. This is very unprofessional and the only thing you can say is “can I reschedule you for another day?” No you can not. I took off from work and believed I would relax on my birthday. I’ll take my money where it is appreciated

Customer service is of extremely poor quality at this location. I had an appointment scheduled for two weeks in advance, and received a message from them asking me to move the appointment, which I did. I received a message request for confirmation of the new appointment time, and I confirmed. The day of the appointment, I arrived to find out they had moved my appointment again without informing me, and that I could not receive my massage. The manager refused to speak with me and rectify the problem. There are many other massage options in Murfreesboro, and I strongly encourage you to avoid Hand And Stone. Very poor customer service.

I don’t recommend going with this company as I was employed there from September-December. Shortly after being hired, I learned that the company was operating on an expired license for almost 5 months. Numerous employees lost their jobs with no compensation. The way the situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and it really hurt a lot of employees including myself. Why would you give business to a company like that?

Murfreesboro location (continue reading for Brentwood location)-My husband and I already had an issue with whether or not he purchased a membership or a gift card. That issue is still not addressed. My MEMBERSHIP was purchased on 12/21 as a GIFT for Christmas. On 12/22 is get another email welcoming as a MEMBER and what MY MEMBERSHIP comes with....Not GIFT CARD. He addressed this and the membership was CANCELLED by office staff and NOT my husband. And they entered in the system as such.... and then entered in as a gift card in HIS name. My husband schedules me anyway at the Brentwood location, and says he will square things away at the visit he scheduled for me. Even though he purchased a membership, I received an email stating my MEMBERSHIP was cancelled via an email on 1/6/23. So I am not understanding how Hand and Stone state I didn't have a membership. Yet I received a membership welcome email and "sorry to see you go" email and how my membership was cancelled. I called the Murfreesboro location and was told MY membership was cancelled and a gift card placed in his name. That I would have to use his name to schedule anything.... husband schedules me at Brentwood location. Brentwood location- lady at desk didn't seem to fully understand what was going on and what had transpired. She keeps telling him he bought a gift card and he keeps telling her what is was supposed to be. Even though I explained the above to her. She stated she would let a manager know and have someone call MY HUSBAND. No one has called my husband as stated. I only received all call for filling out the to reviews ( one for "sorry to see you go" and the other regarding my visit on 1/7/23). I missed the call and called back. I left a voicemail for you to call my husband because this transaction is and has come out of his account, and I am not receiving what he paid for, nor is my gift in my name, you have changed it and put it in his name. As I was waiting for my massage, the manager came over & started spraying Lysol all over the chairs around me. It was early about 4:45pm & not closing time. I had to get up & go outside because of the smell. When I came back in she didn't apologize nor did she even crack a smile the whole time. The girl that checked me acted as if I was beneath her but the dark haired associate next to her was nice. The massage therapist was great! They really need to replace the manager with someone that knows how to treat customers and understands that customers are the reason she has a job. They definitely need a new manager! I have had a lot of massages but never experienced such unpolite, rude actions from someone that is supposed to be a manager. Definitely going to social media on this so no one else feels degraded the way I was made feel.

Horrible service and dishonest practices! I visited the Murfreesboro, TN location yesterday 9/2/22 and asked to use my pre-paid massage credit from the Vancouver, WA location where I recently moved from. One of your team members told me that my prepaid massage expired because it had been 90 days since my cancellation in Washington. I explained to the manager, Tracy, that I had previously booked a massage for 8/21/22, which would have been before the 90 day mark, but THEY canceled my appointment. The soonest I could get rescheduled to was yesterday, 9/2/22. Therefore, I attempted to use my credit within that 90 days! Against my better judgment I agreed to renew my membership in order to use my “expired” prepaid massage, since Tracy said that’s the only way it would be honored. Upon signing up I was told that my first billing would be on 10/2/22, because yesterday’s service was covered by the previous prepaid massage. I just checked my bank account and I was charged for yesterday’s massage although the manager at Murfreesboro, Tracy, said I would not be charged since they were honoring my pre-paid if I’d sign up for a membership again! I was given no email or written confirmation of my new contract. This is exhausting and I just want it canceled and my $69.95 refunded!!!

I booked for a 60 min hot stone massage and was happy to get a day of appointment. I showed up about 10 minutes late and they took that away so be sure to show up on time. Also I had to request multiple times during the massage for more pressure it felt like a soft rub but could just be the therapist. Would recommend if you’re wanting something last minute but wouldn’t sign up for a membership

I had call up there to cancel my membership and they had told me a manager was going to contact me. No manager ever contact me than i call a few days.. they told me the same thing finally comes to a whole new month and they charge me again. I call ip there and then they told me i had to sing papers! The manger Cassie was just a horrible manager. Everytime i went in there the staffing people were nice and i never seen the managers but after this i won’t ever be a client by them anymore.

Fabulous place. Very friendly staff. Neat and clean and calming. I found my therapist who left another place nearby - M.E.!!!!! She’s amazing and always caters to my latest pain issues. She helped my daughter who has an autoimmune issue and knows exactly how to cater to her specific needs. I highly recommend Hand and Stone!!! Appointments are easy to get into. Excellent scheduling and business practices. Many excellent therapists available.

From the moment I walked in until I left, I had a wonderful experience. Suzanne greeted me at the front desk, answered all my questions, and gave me a brochure with pertinent information. Nicole, did my facial. It was so relaxing I heard myself snoring as I fell asleep. We had an enlightening conversation which included some good recommendations. I would recommend this facility as your go to place for facials. I am still yet to try their massage. Hopefully it will be just as good.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone! I had signed up with the month to month subscription and could never get an appointment. I decided just to cancel my membership with them and leave the 4 paid services I had with them on the table. For the last 2 months I've been receiving calls and texts for me to pay for another month to be able to cancel. It's not a contract! It's month to month! They even say that when you sign up. I've paid for 4 massages I can't even use and they want me to pay for yet another service just to cancel. The lady told me I could pay and give it to a friend or family member because I couldnt use it due to them not having availability! What! You want me to pay again just to give it away and I have 4 already unused! Are you listening to yourself! Their messages are not great. They have a few good therapists but they are always booked for months out. What's the purpose of the membership! Take your money elsewhere! It's not worth it. Honestly they bug you as if they are bill collectors but can't call you back or book you for the services you already paid for but want your money.

This place is a rip off. My daughter bought me a gift card to this place. I've had many massages. Got next to the worst massage ever here. 1st he didn't come into the room for quite a while. I'm not sure when my massage was supposed to start. It ended early too. So you don't get the 50 minutes you pay for. They also want you to hold a credit card when you make the appt. Hmmm. Possible red flag here. Back to the massage. I could have just laid on the bed because that was about what I got. He just moved the blanket around and that was pretty much it. Unfortunately I still have a credit on the gift card and I don't ever want to go back. My son-in-law went the same day. He felt the same way and said it WAS the worst massage he had ever gotten. Then they asked for a gratuity....for WHAT?! My daughter just threw her money away because neither of us EVER want to come back. I tried for 3 days to talk to a manager and all I got was, there's no manager here today. I'm guessing or ever. I finally talked to an assistant manager, still can't reach a manager because they aren't available. They said if I would PAY FOR ANOTHER massage they would give me an aromatherapy for free. Are you kidding? My daughter actually bought all of these gift cards at the same time. For her mother-in-law, her husband, and myself. We all want our money back for the balance on the card and for the "massage". They refuse to give the money back from the gift cards that is left on the cards. DON'T GO HERE!!

I booked for a one hour massage. I arrived in the room 10 minutes after my appointment time. He then asked what I wanted to have done and I said I’d love to focus on my mid and low back. That I hold all my stress in my hips and low back. He told me he has his routine down. Then proceeded to upsell me on two add-ons. I was fine thinking at most $30. Well he ended my massage at 1:52. Turns out he upsold me on two $30 treatments, short changed me 10-15 minutes out of my massage, and never addressed my problem areas. I’ve never not had my lower back massaged. All the receptionist could say was that they have been having issues with him and if I decided to come back again here are two “free aromatherapy coupons”. She took $10 off. It was my first time there and not sure I will return with such a lack of customer service.

I was very dissatisfied with my experience at Hand and Stone. To start, my massage was very inconsistent in terms of the time spent on specific areas. For example, the masseuse spent 4 minutes on one arm and spent 2 minutes on my second arm. It seemed as if it was rushed. Maybe that’s my fault for scheduling at the end of the evening. Next, the masseuse came out and got me from the waiting area 10 minutes after the appointment time. This time was not added back into to my massage as it finished 58 minutes after the scheduled time. When calculating the time spent getting undressed and the time it took for the messeuse to come back in the room after getting undressed, my actual massage was only about 40 minutes. In addition, the pressure was very minimal throughout the massage. The majority of the time consisted of me being lightly rubbed. I voiced my concern, and the masseuse informed that if I wanted pressure, I should have requested a deep tissue massage. He explained that a Swedish massage was only for relaxation. Upon entry, the masseuse greeted me by saying, you are my favorite client because you are my last customer. I felt that his comment started the experience off on the wrong page. He seemed new and very inexperienced. Based on my experience, I have no plans to visit this location in the future nor do I plan to refer others. Hopefully these things can be addressed so that others will have a better experience than I did.

Don’t bother anymore. Had a membership there years ago and went every month and it was great. Decided it was time to get another one after years of not having a massage. It was terrible. I asked for firm pressure and it was clear they were either new or didn’t know what they were doing. Felt like a routine just going through the motions. Didn’t help any target areas we talked about. Left feeling the tense areas except I was slathered in lotion and uncomfortable. They left during massage to use the restroom which was fine but gone 5 minutes I would think we would continue the massage for 5 more since I’m paying for this. Instead they ended it 2:18p when a 90 minute that starts at 1p would go to 2:30…. Overall the place has just gone downhill and definitely cares more about just getting your money which was an absolute waste of it.

I've never had a good massage here. Basic massage? Sure, OK, but not one that a) actually utilized the specialty I requested and paid for (deep tissue, trigger point) or b) focused where I asked. My last two visits were also shortened. My 50 minute massage was 41 (therapist quit early). After reaching out to the office, nothing was done. The last visit was supposed to be 90 minutes and he left at 50! Yes, the manager said she'd comp the 30 minutes on my next 90 minute, but that would require another visit and I will not go back. There are far too many other quality salons in town.

Buyer beware. The services are not 100% what they say they are. So I booked my wife a 1 hour hot stone massage. I also added on a foot, hand, and aromatherapy treatment. When she arrived they told her that her booking was only for the 1 hour and if she wanted to get anything else done that it would take away from her massage time. I get my wife spa days quite often and have NEVER heard of a place doing this. It makes no sense that you would spend more money and get less for it.

Would recommend better gift card policies. Ran into difficulties because the gift card I had was 'expired' due to being promotional. This was not communicated anywhere on the gift card, nor when I booked the appointment online and inputted the gift card information(number on the back, etc.) I had asked before the massage if they needed the gift card, was told no. I could pay afterward. So, when I go to pay after the massage, expecting for it to be $50 cheaper, it wasn't. I paid full price, had already made purchasing decisions (getting add-ons to the massage) with the gift card in mind, I was stuck. Likely not to return anytime soon.

I just had a massage with Miriam & let me tell you. I have never felt more welcome, or more comfortable. She was so inviting, she shared knowledge, & the massage was AMAZING. I suggest Miriam for your masseuse!! I got the mini hot stone massage, she targeted the areas where I needed it most. If you’re not sure, or nervous to get a massage, this is your sign. All the staff are very professional. They are warm and friendly when you enter and accompanying even with the COVID procedures in place. The massage therapists I have seen are great and would recommend them to others. I became a member and it is very worth it for not only pricing but a subtle reminder to make an appointment once a month. Your membership payments are considered packages. The packages don't expire. They can be used in conjunction and cover their multitude of service and add-ons such as a massage and facial.

My massage only lasted 30 minutes. Session started at 8:11 and ended at 8:41. The stated amount for actual therapy is 50 mins. My therapist was not waiting to walk me out after I got dressed. Very disappointed in the service on my last visit. I'll be canceling my membership. I've notice a gradual deterioration of this location and that's unfortunate since it's so close to my home.

First, I never leave reviews - I just simply feel the need to warn everyone about this place. I have had several professional massages and until now, I have never been treated with such unprofessionalism... Especially from a place that PROMOTES getting rid of stress. My massage did not start until 10 minutes after my appointment (I arrived 8 minutes before my appointment) and then promptly ended after 40 minutes. Keep in mind, they rescheduled me the day of my original appointment a few hours before I was supposed to be there. If had done that, I would have been charged. They put me with a masseuse who had the opposite levels of pressure that I requested so I’m not aware of where that disconnect came from. Bottom line, I paid $100 for a 40 minute massage? I asked the masseuse about the time shortage... she looked at me like I had 3 eyes and told me to ask the clerk up front. When I politely asked the clerk if the massages were supposed to be 50 minutes as opposed to 40, she rudely said “well, sorry.” Like, what? Left a bad review on my survey and asked to be contacted yet, I was never contacted. I was a client there for a long time and never had a problem until now. Idk what happened to this place or this staff but I had fully intended on renewing my wellness membership that day. Needless to say, I will not. Very disappointed.

Bought gift cards for my wife and mother n law last Christmas. Covid hits, everyone is closed for months and or with very limited hours. My wife called to book her spa day and she was informed that her gift card will not be good on the day of her appointment because it is after the one year mark. Really? After everything in 2020 out of our control this is how you treat someone who spent nearly 300 dollars in gift cards? As a small business owner myself THIS is how you DO NOT treat your customers. Avoid this place at all costs. TN law also says that gift cards have a 2 year expiration date. Not 1 year.

We have moved from Illinois where we felt we had the best masseuses on the planet, so of course our expectations were high and of course we compared how we felt here vs Illinois. We had previously visited another facility in Murfreesboro and it was BAD. So we drove around, found Hand and Stone, went into the facility to get a feel for it and were pleased with the staff at the front desk, so we made appointments for introductory massages. We were so pleased. The masseuses were awesome, very good bedside manner, so to speak, clean, relaxing atmosphere. Great job, we will be repeat customers for Tina and AJ! The spa is a bit pricey, but they have specials which we will take advantage of! Great experience!

I cancelled my membership in April 2020 due to covid 19 lockdown. The shop was closed for quite some time. I thought the hard earned money I paid for my one remaining visit would be available. I called in October to schedule asession.I was told the massage I paid for expired after 90 days. $60 down the drain. This business model signs you up for recurring monthly payments, but like a bad time sharing investment if you opt out you will be disappointed by the money they keep. Hand and Stone has policies to strip you of your money if you are not careful. I do not recommend this company unless you want to be in a contract that is heavily weighted towards the profit of the company and not the satisfaction of the consumer.

Staff is constantly changing so it's impossible to stay with the massage therapist that you like. Understaffed and almost impossible to schedule an appointment unless you do it a month in advance. Communication is extremely poor so read the fine print before signing up for a membership.

Massage was always great but poor business practices. Signed up for a membership payed for several months while living out of town cancelled in June had 6 massage that I paid for canceled because of 90 Days. But if I reopen my account they will put them back on. That is messed up. Would never suggest anyone signing up with this company I come from a world you pay for something you get it.

The massage therapist was good. This was my first visit so I just didn't feel that connection where I would continue future visits with this person. Also, when finishing up you should always offer cup of water. It helps your kidneys release the toxins as they work their way out of your muscles during your appointment, and move them out of your system in a healthy, productive manner. I actually developed pain when leaving in my abdomen but it felt related to my kidney. I was not happy. I will choose different therapist next time. You should let him know. This is from my own experience that I know about drinking water. He did not offer. I felt rushed out to pay.

I was told I could use it for either purpose. When I went to check out the manager tells me I can only use it for services and maybe the next time I come in I can put it on a service. Her attitude was so condescending like I was a child. I will not visit the place if she is the manager. The actual services were great.

Terrible management. Shannon the manager told me I could use my monthly membership credits after Covid cleared up. Now that I paid for 3 months of club membership and they are open for business again I’ve been told that my 3 credits are no longer useable. So this place practices ripping off its customers regularly with predatory practices. I paid $180 and received $60 massage and the worst part the 1 massage I did get was horrible and not relaxing at all(bad pressure, not focused on areas I mentioned, 45 minutes long). Avoid this place they are scumbags and will smile while stealing from you, southern hospitality at its finest. ZERO STAR RATING

Since this one was a gift, I decided to give it a try. My experience was AMAZING! If I could give more stars I would. I had the Himalayan Salt Stone Massage with CBD oil to calm the muscles. Had a great time. Was there for therapeutic purposes. Sciatica, bad neck and back. The young woman who worked on me had injured her back a while ago and was able to offer me practical advice that worked for her and hope that the pain I'm going through now is only temporary. She gave me the initiative to begin a lifestyle change without even knowing it. First time getting a massage in twenty years, so I was a little shy at first but she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Tipped her like 33% gonna go back next month. I left a five star 8 mo ago, but thought id cancelled three months ago. Apparently i signed a freeze. I had asked to cancel. It's like a gym membership. You know when you read about these horrible experiences that members go through when they try to cancel... Three months later (3/1) wass billed $60. Today (3/4)i got a call because i hadn't paid it. Then i had the freeze explained. I was told i iad to cancel in person and pay off the bill today or I'd be charged again next month. I couldn't do it in person . Also, usually, you get billed for a final visit the day you cancel, so if jeannie?) Hadnt helped me out i would have had to pay $120 today. Not $60. She also said she could take my payment by phone this time and email me the form for cancellation. Sure, i said I'd. I'd do that. Id call back when i was sure the unbudgeted expense wouldn't hurt me too horrendously. I called back after getting all my ducks in a row and the receptionist had to spend 8 minutes back and forth between jeannie and myself. Finally got the email but there was no form attached. I'm not leaving one star, because jeannie did help me by voiding that secondary charge and the work i had done on me was like i said top notch. But these types of gym memberships are notorious. I can't imagine a business basing their model on this type of practice. I said back then that i i wanted to cancel. Not put a freeze on it for three months. I'd redone my household budget amd since this was not an absolute necessity, I decided to cancel it. I had no clue where id be in three months time, so o decided to cancel it. Why I'd be given a freeze, i i hve no idea. Why'd i get a phone call AFTER they billed me? Why couldn't they call beforehand? Just check and see if everything was good and that i was ready to return? They are great at sayimg nice thinfs but just like any other business, they only want one thing. On a final note (and here i don't blame reception) the receptionist was all, like, "whom do i have the pleasure of speaking with". But when i told her who i was and who i ianted to speak with it was like a switch flipped. Now its been an hour after i imailed my reply to Jeannie that her initial email was missing the attachment and i iavent heard back. Gonna have to call again. Sheesh. When you sign up and you're going rhere everything is great. But when you need to leave, the place just treats you like you're an enemy. Treating people like that creates enemies. Its a self fulfilling prophecy. I signed a contract. Whoops. I got aome things wrong. But if they had been a bit more proactive then i iould not have taken two stars away. The only reason I'm taking TWO again as ive said, is because they didn't TOTALLY rip me off in every which way possible.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I wanted to warn everyone about one of the WORST customer services experiences i’ve ever had. I got one mediocre massage and one waste-of-time facial during which they did almost nothing because i did the basic package and clearly the name of the game here is up-sell. And when i tried to cancel my subscription (that i was completely pressured into getting after my very first trip) they gave me nothing but a hassle. I signed up bc i thought it was a bargain and maybe allll the people weren’t bad. They refused to cancel via phone or email even though I was specifically told you could do it that way, and when I finally made it in person to cancel, after being charged another two months (because they refused to send the paperwork via email), they STILL charged me again a week later, and informed me that there’s fine print that says they can do that. AND, this was after REPEATEDLY being told there would be NO more charges by the receptionist, in person, and on the phone when I called in to ask why I had been charged yet again. The receptionist literally said “oh no, that should definitely not have happened” and the manager gets on and says “it’s in the fine print that we can charge you one more time after you cancel”. And the manager was so completely rude about it all. The people working there clearly don’t know what the policies are and give flat out false information and the managers don’t care and just want to nickel and dime you. I wouldn’t even put up with this if the place had good massages or facials, but they definitely don’t. I could have bought some cheap moisturizers and rubbed them on my own face and then stood in front of the dishwasher and had the exact same results. Of course then no one would be there to constantly up-sell me to a package where they might actually do something, though it didn’t sound like it. Oh and the massage? I asked for a male and got a female, it was about equal in quality to when I have my bf do it when he really doesn’t want to, and it started 5 mins late and was 15 mins shorter than it was supposed to be. Part of it was my fault bc I added the hot stone option and should have known that was going to be stupid. Literally just pushed a medium sized stone around my skin and then let it sit there eating up minutes. I have gotten this same type of massage before but should have known this walmart of massage parlors wasn’t going to get that right. I implore you to take your money elsewhere where they don’t scam you and actually hire quality people. Or at the very least respect you. I have three sessions worth of credit (to be used in a couple months before they expire of course ????) you couldn’t pay me to attend.

I would like to give a review on the quality of a massage received but am unable to do so given that I am unable to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame. Called today (2/13/20) and was placed on hold for at least 9 minutes so hung up and called back in about 2 minutes (thinking maybe just a snafu). Placed on hold (again) to speak with someone regarding appointment availability and they never came to the phone (held for about 5 minutes that time). Highly disappointed in the service (or lack thereof) I received today. Perhaps if I were a member then I would have received a higher quality of service but my experience today sealed the deal on that option!

An hour before appointment you call. How long did they know therapist was going to be out today? Waited two weeks to get a weekend appointment with them. Never been there before. Don’t know that this is a place I want to go. Wouldn’t you think that they would have called as soon as they knew their employee wasn’t going to be there to give the client a head ups? SMH If I could have given them no stars that’s what they would have gotten.

The services I received were wonderful. Their membership policies, not so much. I had an appt. cancelled on me within an hour of my service time on Friday and requested management to follow up - no one did. I finally called in on Monday to be told someone would call me back.... no one did. So I called in again the same day. When all was said and done I made the decision to cancel based on how poorly the situation was handled regarding my cancelled appt. and lack of communication from management. I was drafted on September 13th, never received my service, and requested that they cancel my membership. They have a 30 day cancel policy but as they are losing me as a client due to their mistakes I requested that my draft from that day cover my 30 day cancel. You'd think I'd be able to schedule one last massage? Nope. I am out the $60 entirely.

I love going to Hand and Stone. I usually book my appointments over the phone and somehow almost always get Alicia. She is the best to work with. She is able to recommend services to fit within the amount of credits I have and provide a wonderful experience. When I get to the spa, it is always clean and relaxing. The staff at the desk, usually also Alicia haha!, are always friendly and smiling. They always offer water to drink while I wait for my appointment. The wait is never long. All of the staff is wonderful. I just received a facial from Amanda yesterday and my skin is baby smooth! I can't wait for my next appointment!

WOW! What a place to go and get revitalized. Warm and inviting! Chilled environment when you walk and and also in the back rooms. This is a quiet soothing place unlike massage envy. I've not had a bad massage there yet. I have used 3 different massage therapist and all have been great. My last massage was with Brook and she was phenomenal. She can go from light massage to deep tissue and anywhere in between. She's so popular you must book quickly! I love going to this spa because the front desk typically remembers you and they treat you great. I have been going to Hand & Stone since November 2018. I get monthly facials with Whitney (she is amazing), I just love how much my skin has improved from when I started. I love this place so much I brought my mom to get a facial, she got Kennedy. Kennedy was such a sweetheart, my mom could not stop staring at her beautiful glowing skin after. I had a giftcard which was for either a massage or facial and a foot...something. The facial was really nice and soothing and calming and worth it. The foot thing, however, I wouldn't spend money on that. I would just go and get a pedicure. It really wasn't worth it. She rubbed stuff on my feet that came right out of my socks. No soaking, no moisture or anything. It was weird. I would rather just get a pedicure. But other than that, it was cool.

The worst service ever! They cancelled my appointment with some silly mixup and gave it to a couple. Said they could give me back my appointment but the couple that now had it, one of them would have to miss out. After contacting the person and asking him to come in to explain the situation to him. Disappointed. I had a scheduled appointment today at 10 am. I get a call at 8 am. from this place telling me that my scheduled appointment was cancelled because the therapist called in sick and there was no one else to conduct the massage. I delayed my road trip for this appointment now my time has been wasted and I could have been scheduled somewhere else. Now I have to wait until next week to schedule an appointment somewhere else that is more organized, staffed, and professional. Definitely do not recommend anyone to waste their valuable time here.

I am absolutely pleased.its under new management and I can tell. My husband purchased a gift certificate back in 2016 and i had a massage scheduled but had a severe reaction and ended up in the hospital so I did not make my appt and could not call until a few days after. When i had explained they told me I forfeited my certificate which had $199 on it. Well i tried them today and told them what happened and the new manager told me she was going to look and see what she could do. When I came out of my massage she told me she was transferring my money To a new gift Certificate and giving me a monthly discount on the membership fee if I was interested. She was just as excited As I was. I did the hot stone with Michelle and loved her. I got the membership and have another appt Monday. My neck and back feel so much better. IF you went before and had a bad experience try Again and talk to the manager even if it was recently and you had an issue. She is amazing!!!

I started going to H&S in summer of 2015 when I was pregnant. I was desperately looking for a place that does prenatal massages, which they do. They let me know about the membership and how if I plan to get massaged regularly that it would be in my best interest financially to sign up, but didn't add the pressure to do so; It was simply informational. But I did sign up and I haven't regretted it for even a moment. I still go every month (or more often) and have been able to try all of their add on treatments and even some facials. Keri is my current therapist and she is absolutely fabulous. I can't say that enough. She's kind, friendly and very talented and incredibly good at what she does. Carol gave me my facial in January and was beyond sweet and walked me through the process, what to expect and tips about treating my skin outside of the spa. I have never had a bad experience here ever, and would recommend H&S to anyone at anytime.

I had several of their employees tell me they would be able to provide services for me and my 13 and 16 year old niece and nephew. I was told several times and on multiple occasions that the 16 year old could get a facial as long as I was on the premises and the 13 could get a massage as long as I was in the room. So we booked a couples massage for myself and the 13 year old while the 16 year old got the facial. Showed up and they took the 16 year old back to start and waited to tell me they can’t give the 13 year old a massage even with me in the room getting a massage as well. So I was forced to stay in their lobby while the 16 year old gets their facial and I have to pay them for their very poor customer service and their ignorance. They could have at least told me this so we could have all just left and went elsewhere. I use to be a member and I too am a massage therapist. The services are just mediocre so I canceled my membership but I was willing to use them again since I was told they could provide the services in this case but never again will I step foot in their business or give them any more of my money.

I purchased a massage and facial package and I am very sorry I got a facial here. First, let me start out by saying that the massage was great. Really thought that my facial would be too. Unfortunately, far from the case. This was the first facial I have ever gotten that I wanted to get up and leave 15 min into it because it felt so terrible! I should have left because now my face is red and burned!!! The young lady Shannon that did my facial seemed very inexperienced. Her hands were so dry and rough that they irritated my face. It felt like she was rubbing sandpaper on my skin. I understand that has a facialist you wash your hands alot but you should also make sure you keep your hands moisturized so that your hands never irritate someones skin because they extremely dry. The products that she used also burned my skin too. When she went to use the steam on my face it had a terrible fish like odor to it. Like it had not been cleaned or something. The overall experience was was horrible and I felt like I was being tourtured instead of pampered! I will not be returning to this place and would not recommend it.

Save you money and spend it at a place that will honor a FULL hour massage. I paid for a 1 hour massage and literally was at the front counter within 42 mins after starting the massage. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Made appointment for massage, the employee nor the website said nothing about children, I arrived early only to be kept waiting 5 minutes while they decided who was going to tell me that my well behaved, mature, 11 year old could not be there. If I was told up front, or if it were on website would have been nice. I left and will not be back nor will recommend.

The facials are better than the full body massages. Depending on who you have your facials could either be great or mediocre. I wanted to cancel my service and they talked me into a freeze so that was cool but you can only do two freezes a year. I think I'm going to cancel my membership regardless just because I want fantastic facials all the time not some of the time. I need consistency. Would I recommend them to a friend? nah

Hand & Stone Massage is awesome! From the very moment you walk in, you are met with a relaxing environment. From the friendly staff and soothing scents to the calming drinks offered, this place is designed to make you feel pampered. Unlike the "other guy" in town, this is a true relaxation place. The atmosphere is tranquil and calming. Even before I walked in for my treatment my stress was alleviated and I was very relaxed. The massage therapist I saw paid attention not only to the requests I had but was in tuned to what my muscles needed. Just as soon as I am released from the impossible to break contract with the other guys, I'm becoming a member! To top off the already wonderful experience, they have month to month memberships that don't leave you locked in !

I have been to many day spas like massage envy, elements, rain tree etc, this is by far the best place to get a massage! So inviting and warm, all of the therapist's take their time with you to ensure you have the best experience possible. Very relaxing environment. Will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone and everyone who asks!

The Owner/ Manager is amazing, my first visit he sat down with me and spoke. The office staff is very helpful and courteous. I did have Selena do my massage and I was very relaxed the whole time, very pleasant and my massage was AMAZING, I added the peppermint scalp treatment and that was fantastic as well. Thank you all for an awesome "me time" hour.

The front desk staff is great very nice. The therapist Salena did a hot stone massage that was horrible, no placement of stones anywhere just a very quick and rushed movement back and forth. It felt very rushed and every time she moved my body it was fast and not relaxing and they don't go past your knee cap. The owner did give me a upgrade for next time I come in and pay regular price for a massage which I didn't feel was adequate considering I just spent $145.00.
