The spa was OK but nothing like what I expected for a Mariott in Santa Monica. It's really hard to find the spa itself. Even if you ask for directions you have to walk down a hallway of guest rooms to get there and I can imagine the traffic using that hall to get to the spa or the pool could be rather noisy. They don't have a hot tub, but they do have little cabana tables. This hotel also doesn't take advantage of it's obstructed view which is surprising. The locker rooms are very small but well-supplied.

Love this little spa. Used a groupon for a 50 minute massage. The staff was professional and friendly. The spa is spotless. The pool and the steam room were top notch. Will be back for sure.

Elle and Brian were both excellent yoga instructors. Great for small classes and personal attention. Elle is very hands on and focuses on correct poses. Brian is more cerebral bringing attention to thought and breath and how the mind is just as important as the physical.

Went with my daughter and thought I’d enjoy the spa while she had massage and facial- this is no Burke Williams - no indoor jacuzzi, steam room closed and we were to get Champagne but that didn’t even happen- this is not a spa it’s a hotel - lesson learned glad it was a Groupon but racking on 30% tip is steep especially if service wasn’t impeccable

The two therapists I worked with rate 5 plus stars. Steven, with whom I did three excellent sessions (and who I worked with on a previous visit to this lovely hotel), and Savange, with whom I did one, were each outstanding. They are experienced in a variety of techniques, focus on problem areas and help with addressing painful body issues, in addition to providing a relaxing aftereffect. Thanks to both of them. I recommend both of them highly. While there is nothing special about the spa facility itself, it is comfortable, pleasant, functional, conveniently located next to the well equipped exercise room and has immediate access to the very nice outdoor pool with lots of lounges. I give the facility 4 stars.

Not the best spa but the other review is too harsh so I had to speak up. I was sad that there was no jacuzzi but other than that the spa is beautiful, the treatments were awesome, and the service was impeccable. Already scheduled to go back.
