I was a skeptic at first however now I'm a believer. First check their site and make an appointment. They have flexible appointment times, I believe their latest is 7pm. Check in at the front and if it's your first time you'll sign a waiver. Next you'll get a tour of the facility and then have a chance to change into a robe and sandals. There is water and cookies to snack on. You get a 15 minute chair massage should you choose to relax those muscles. To be honest, I didn't like the chair massage much as it was kneading the wrong areas. Okay now the exciting part. You step into the suite and give yourself a good wash and exfoliation. Remember no hair color treatment or spray tan within the past 72 hrs. Once you're ready, careful step into the floatation tank. We decided to go pitch black and that was an unreal experience. I imagined myself floating in space. The neck pillow did not help and caused more tension in the neck and traps. Just relax and your body will float in the epsom salt bath. You lose track of time. I ended up having trouble breathing cause it was so humid so I opened the door and that helped tremendously. Once 60 minutes is up, the lights turn back on and you hear a chime. Rinse off the epsom salt thoroughly and go change in the changing room. I felt relaxed and was able to clear my mind. The next day I woke up groggy. We found out this can happen as the floatation and epsom salt detoxes your body. Just remember to hydrate often. Overall a great experience and would consider going back monthly. Of the other floatation spas in DFW, Adrift was the most 'economical'.

We had an absolutely wonderful first float experience. The spa itself is gorgeous and the staff provided everything we needed. I recommend this place to anyone who could use a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We will definitely be back!
