Beautiful scenery and very clean.
Great service. Very clean.
Beautiful scenery and very clean.
Great service. Very clean.
The pool is great, the room is clean, and the location is convenient for shopping or visiting. The front entry is gorgeous and the staff are nice. I'm definitely recommending this place to others.
Beautiful rooms! Beyond wonderful staff! Gorgeous meeting rooms! Excellent food! Stunning outdoor fire-pits! Relaxing and clean spa! Definitely will return!
Second time down for a competition. Great staff, clean rooms.
Very neat clean beautiful every employee was so helpful and curtious. Very nice get away.
Clean and friendly. Nice place to stay.
Loved it, nice, clean and relaxing!
A lively atmosphere and very friendly staff. Spacious bedroom, cool design and comfortable bed.Would Highly recommend it to anyone.
Did not get to golf but had meetings set there. Nice place, buffet is fairly good too.
Great golf course and beautiful location. 10/10
Clean room, nice staff and great facilities.
Great place for meeting rooms, conferences
Amazing place for conventions and reunions so glad I visited.
Not happy at all with this resort. I dont believe me or my girlfriend will be visiting again.
We went for a relaxing getaway and were severely disappointed. First, the hotel reeked of smoke everywhere. Had to move rooms because of this. The next room had someone’s dirty socks left behind and was not super clean. Besides this, the room was fine. The outdoor patio was nice and the space is fair. The most disappointing part however was the “spa”. The website is incredibly misleading and I’m writing this review to make it clear for other guests as I would have liked to have known all the following before spending the money to do this. 1) It says you have access to a pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, etc. under the “spa amenities”. None of that is part of the “spa”, rather it is part of the recreation center, open to the public and all hotel guests. So we went for a relaxing getaway only to find the nice whirlpool photo they have is not real and there were 25+ screaming children running around in the pool, sauna, etc that they tell you is part of your exclusive spa experience. Also, it was extremely gross and the locker rooms were disgusting. 2) the woman on the phone at booking said we would have access to the “spa” throughout our stay and I made sure to ask that it wasn’t just the day of our treatment. She confirmed that we would, but they wouldn’t let us use the relaxation room except for the day of treatment once we got there (the ONLY part of the spa amenities that truly is part of the spa only). 3) finally, but super important, they add a 22% gratuity “FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE” to all spa treatments and you CANNOT change that. They just tack it onto your bill even if your treatment wasn’t great. Super non-transparent and when I asked the woman checking me out for further clarification about why I had to do 22% if I wanted to do a more standard tip, she just didn’t respond. Never seen something like this and the staff were not helpful or friendly. Just want to make sure before you book that you consider these things as we had no idea and what was meant to be a nice getaway was hugely disappointing.
Nice place seafood could be added on the menu base off the prices, need more housekeepers on the weekends Spa prices a little too pricey could knock off a few dollars or have some type of package deal based off your stay...but other than that a nice little getaway for yourself or family
Annual Christmas work party. Food is always under cooked.
Great for a weekend getaway and some family time. It’s a bit on the older side but everything was functional and our group had fun. Bowling alley offered drinks and food. The pool was nice and clean. The kids had options - game room, movie room, activities. The rooms are nice and not outdated. We had a double room and they set up a pack and play and someone else in our group stayed in a penthouse room. Our room looked clean, but upon actually being in the rooms we found a butter knife from someone’s room service by our bed and Bobby pins on the ground. Makes you wonder what other corners were cut. I would recommend the resort just make sure the room is actually clean before staying.
Best holiday small fun and enjoying
Our company has had multiple meetings here. Great staff, food and amenities.
Nice options for services
Very disappointing. My husband and I were looking forward to a quiet and relaxing weekend at Eaglewood. When we arrived there was a group of about 10 people listening to loud music on their phones in the lobby and being obnoxious. A few guests were trying to enjoy a drink by the bar but the noise was intolerable. We check in and are sent on our way to our room when we realized every hallway smelled like marijuana. According to another guest every floor smelled the same. It's such a shame they would allow things like that to happen, Eaglewood used to be a very classy place to go to. Probably not going back for a while.
It was great one time experience! It is on expensive side. Spa steal spotlight hands down. Registration desk folks were helpful and answered questions patiently.
Beds were too small and the furnace is loud as a plane
Great rooms and great view. Family friendly...thanks
Went here for a conference. It was ok. Seems a little outdated. Breakfast was good. Lunch was meh.
Went in the dead of winter for work. Food was great. Rooms were big, if not shaped a little different, and was close to where we needed to be. I will go back, maybe even when it isn't 12 degrees outside!
If i could give it no stars i would.... it was entirely too cold to have to walk across the lot after swimming... but we got over that...: go to the room heat doesn’t work and they sent security to check he couldn’t fix it either gave me an extra blanket... wake up the next morning bathroom full of ants and bugs
Great resort, holding a big event here. Rooms appear to be nice @ a good price. Works well to accommodate you.
Such an amazing place for all occasions! Great food, great service and amazing ambience! Has handicap accessible parking and entrances. Very clean all around with easy access to parking and great visibility from the road. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a place for any occasion from birthdays, graduations to weddings! This is the perfect place for all! Hope this helps your decision making process!
Supremely disappointed. We arrived 3 hours early to access their "pool, sauna, towel service, etc". From the moment we walked in, their customer service failed. We were not greeted by an attendant for over 15 minutes. She checked us in, gave us forms to fill and told us to bring them back when completed. Done. She took them and kept typing on the computer. Ummm... ok? So now what. I had to prompt her to tell us where the lockers were, how to access the pool, sauna, etc. Once in the sauna, we were greeted by unsupervised annoying children who kept pressing the sauna steam button. While in the jacuzzi, surrounded by screaming children *insert eye roll* we were greeted by hundreds of ANTS hanging out near the gutter of the jacuzzi. HUNDREDS OF ANTS !!! Had we not dropped nearly $600 worth of services we could no longer cancel, we'd have run out of there ASAP. Finally, we get to our service time and move to the spa locker room. Sorry folks, another disappointment. The lockers are extra skinny and extremely congested - two guests were extremely rude and refused to allow others to enter and reach their own lockers. C'mon Itasca! LEARN SOME MANNERS. The services were subpar, they are not sound proof rooms, the "hot" tea water was room temperature at best, a small jar of dried fruits is what they consider "complimentary snacks" and no one seemed to understand the "Tranquility Room" is meant to be TRANQUIL. Like I said, this was a supremely disappointing experience.
The company took us out and didnt do it on the cheap. Awesome fillet!
Spacious conference rooms for different sized events/ meetings. Food was good in both the restaurant and buffet. Golf course was easy enough for someone who hasn't played in years, but still challenging enough for seasoned vets, who luckily took it easy on me.
Very peaceful, I highly recommend this place.
Need staff to be more attentive
Not worth the price paid. The spa experience was not great. We recieved massages that really didn't help anything, and the facial was more of just a face mask with steam. It was very disappointing. We had to keep coming to the front desk because they forgot to give us vouchers for everything included in the package. The best part was the service at the bar downstairs, the bartender was fantastic!
I would have given it more stars but it is not handicapped friendly. The younger staff was not willing to assist handicap guests. And when I say handicapped I don't mean wheelchair-bound. I mean just guess who have challenges walking. You have to pay extra for everything. The next time I'm in that vicinity I will be going to a hotel. The rooms were also very chilly. The entire place was drafty. And it was not that cold outside.
New year's party was fantastic. From the 11 am check in to the food ,music , brunch , and the workers. I will continue to come here. Worth every penny and Thank you for the Great time. 10 Stars I would give if I could!!
We are here for the new years eve party. We are being joined by 4 other friends. I repeatedly called a month in advance to insure that the all of us would be at the same table. Tonight when we arrived there tables assigned. Problem was there are 11 people at a table for 10. Now we are being told that there is no longer assigned seating. People are scrambling around moving from table to table in order to be with their friends. There are glasses of water that have been drank from on the open tables. I seen kids arrange a party better than this. This my first and certainly my last visit to this dump.
Wonderful space for personal getaway!
Nice clean with wonderful service
Nice place to go for a get away weekend!
Maudy Go C.
Holiday in is better
Thank you MOE ELALAMI for all of your help! Great stay with Eaglewood resort. Very clean and comfy beds!
Very quiet at night for a peaceful stay. Rooms are spacious with nice beds!
Great place for our planned event. Staff very helpful
Had a pretty good experience. Rooms were nice, and the rest of the resort was very nice as well. The breakfast/ brunch was an additional charge but was very good. We did have an issue while making our reservations. It seemed that the reservations department and the actual hotel had a communication issue. The front desk staff did resolve the problems fairly quickly as we were checking in though.
The service was very nice. All the employees were very nice but it's way to expensive. Next time I'm bringing my own food.
Great experience. A very long walk to the room. Woke up and seen people golfing in the morning. Very great brunch options. Very clean and decor was mind blowing. Room was a little small for me but still great. Was able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the quiet.
Nice hotel, helpful people and great views
Meeting friends and family
Very clean rooms, good food and friendly staff.
The hotel was niceknowing that wasn't good when you walk to the pool you had to walk outside and then when we got to the pool there was one woman just kept on picking on us didn't say nothing to anybody else that was drinking for averages for right away call Management on us because we were Hispanic
Nice weekend getaway resort.
Excellent buffet staff and waiters for excellent
Good food drinks and desert
Room was clean, nice, large balcony overlooking the golf course. Massage was excellent, and they will shuttle bus you to the nearest restaurants and bars if you like.
The very beginning of our stay was suspect when we were told the pool was closed, but might reopen... Off to the room it was to reorchestrate the plan. Finding our room was quite the venture toting our bags around trying to find the right "tower". Despite swimming being a primary reason to come here with kids, we fell back on plan 2: Bowling..... only to find out they were closed for private parties.... Okay, on two two pizzas and 2 drinks.... for $70!!!!!When I went to inquire about the hotel fee and questioned the additional $$$ that came up on my bank report, I find out there was an additional $20 "resort fee" fee. At the end of the night, the whole experience was becoming laughable at best. Overall a frustrating, disappointing experience. We definitely do not reccomend! Overpriced and underwhelming!!!!
My family picked this place for its kid friendly potential. Upon checking, we found out that the pool was closed. Unfortunate, but things happen. So took the kids to go bowling. Sorry, all 6 lanes are reserved for the last 3 hours of a Saturday night by an adult Herbalife group. Needless to say, the kids were disappointed, and promises couldn’t be kept. Members here are extremely entitled, careless and messy. Underwear, clothes, shoes, thrown throughout the locker room when to pool finally reopened for the last hour of the night. Hallways covered in tissue paper Navigating the “towers” is confusing to say the least. Arrows point to north tower, but you have to follow the arrows to be in the south tower. You have to pay a “resort fee” as part of the rate, not explained but your bill will be 30$ more than the price stated. In summary, an extraordinarily large disappointment, over priced in all facets, and do not recommend.
Now there's a place that's got a lot of class bring a good friend with you you could have a wonderful time there or even a spouse
Went there for a banquet
We enjoyed our stay here and will return. Only issues is the spa is not in the same building and for a resort, there is not much to do here.
Is a very good place to stay
A good place for meetups and conferences
Beautiful hotel, amenities, and delicious food. The staff is amazing too.
A good experience!
We were woke up at 2:30 am due to fire alarm and was told to leave the building. After leaving the building the manger came outside and said to come in the lobby and told we had extended stay for a hour for check out because of the inconvenience. The next day another manger said the they will not honor that. My reason for the trip was to enjoy the pool and sauna. Went to the pool and there was at least 20 kids in the pool and hot tub without any adult monitor them. I cool not enjoy myself because the kids was jump all around the place all in both sauna. I will not be returning. A was of 645.00 went down the drain.
The Room was super clean and fresh. The Hotel is well maintained. I would stay here again and again.
tucked away with a great course
Very nice facility
Nice place, banquet food average

We were looking for a place to unwind for our anniversary but also wanted a getaway. This place was amazing! Spacious rooms, great service from the front desk (Steve and Amelia might be her name) and fantastic buffet. Once it gets warmer, we will return.
T-bone was very good!
Great food, service, and facilities.
Excellent Golf course.
What a wonderful stay! We are from the Chicagoland area and looked for some quiet R&R and Eaglewood was beyond our expectations. Being in the travel industry I frequent many hotels and have to say Eaglewood was superb. From the moment you walk in the hospitality of the front desk was friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed the spa services and again the front desk of the spa were extremely kind. Once I checked in for my spa treatment the receptionist showed me the amenities and told me to change and wait in the tranquility room for my facial and massage. Once in the tranquility room I enjoyed fresh lemon water and tea. It really set the tone for a relaxing massage. I got a facial from Juliane and it was phenomenal. She was informative and also very friendly and professional. After my facial I had a massage with Renita (not sure if I’m spelling her name right) and she also was phenomenal, extremely relaxing and had one of the greatest massages. After my treatments the receptionist welcomed me to use the hot tub/steam room/sauna. The amenities were perfect! After my spa treatment we went to the downstairs bar for some food and drinks and to watch the World Series. There was an outdoor fire pit which was perfect for the weather. Inside the bar was fun and the bartender Steve was not only extremely good at his job but was also friendly and helpful suggesting local bourbon from the Chicagoland area. After we ate we had a night cap at the lobby bar and again, we were very impressed with the ambiance and service. Additionally we called down to the front desk for additional pillows and received them within 5 minutes. Also, you can’t beat the views of the golf course! I highly recommend staying at Eaglewood and look forward to returning! It exceeded all of our expectations.
Clean rooms, need remodeling. Supplied shampoos and body wash smelled like chemicals instead of sweet and aromatic. Food at restaurants was just above average, nothing to brag about. They will lie to you about their complimentary shuttle service to the go to banquet facility just down the street. They told me for 20 minutes the shuttle was on its way after calling 3 times. Then called me back to tell me 3 minutes the shuttle would be there. We'll after another 20 minutes, no shuttle, ended up calling a ride share company. Told Denise at the front desk, whom is the one who told me 3 minutes for the shuttle bus arrival, that the bus never came. She looked up, said really? And then proceeded to answer the phone while we were in the middle of talking and with that completely ignored me. So rooms ok, Food ok, front desk especially Denise, horrible. They just don't get the concept of the meaning for Hospitality. Sad. Guess they hire anyone these days as long as they can stand without actually doing anything useful for the guests. Will not come back to this resort. BTW Spa, pool, hot tub, bowling, not in the main building. Have to go outside to get there. Good luck after a spa treatment or swim having to go across the grounds when it's 0o outside. Place really has been left in the past compared to all the newer hotels that surround that area.
Great service and friendly staff.
Very cozy resort
The rooms are small but it is an older hotel. The greens looked awesome and the hotel is definately updated. The pool is not connected to the main hotel. There is a lot of walking throughout the hotel.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful golf course
Jennifer was awesome very knowledgeable and kind
Very nice place to relax! Me & my husband enjoyed it!
This course is beautiful and very well maintained. It’s fairly challenging, especially some tough greens. Highly recommend playing a round here if you are looking for a nicer/more upscale course to play on.
Had a great time with 2 kids and wife came from Indianapolis for 3 days in felt the service was Great lots of restaurants in the area and as always Chicago has so much to do
My secret getaway, love it
I went there for a wedding. Originally, we were going to stay, but then decided not to due to the fact that I don't live far from this place. First off, trying to cancel a reservation is a major accomplishment in and of itself. You can't just call up and give your name and dates of travel. Nooooo, they want your whole life history. It literally took me 15 minutes to cancel my reservation, strike one. On the day of the wedding, we had some time to kill so we had a drink at one of the bars. I put a $20 on the bar thinking that that would be enough money; silly me. $21 for a glass of wine and a bottle of beer, I couldn't believe it. Strike two. I truly do not recommend this place at all.
Only golf there about 6 times this season. and had lunch good course reasonable price great bar and grill good people in charge of the the course and grill.
I was in Chicago for business. Decided to stay here as it was in the same vicinity as my business meetings. Great stay with good atmosphere at the downstairs bar in the evenings.
Great golf experience for reasonable price. Will be back.
Employees were very friendly, didn't interact with them to much though.
Very nice course. Reasonably priced. Great staff!
The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. Had amazing views!
We've been coming here for years and the experience is even more amazing than the time before. Planning a marriage retreat now so that others can experience it
We didn't choose this hotel, it was chosen for us by British Airways due to a delayed flight. It was certainly a drive from the ORD, in a residential area. The building itself was sizeable and appeared to have several meeting rooms and conferences going on. When we arrived the staff was very friendly, and check out was equally friendly. We didn't encounter any rude or unhelpful staff, including restaurant staff. They were reliable in booking transport back to the Airport for us, good service at the restaurant, considering it was busy with a lot of unexpected British Airways guest. The morning buffet was great, too. Our room had a view of the golf course, it was nice (however I'm not a golfer, so I wouldn't really know for sure). The rooms had ample amenities and the bed was nice. The hotel itself was generally cleanish, but it felt a bit tired. It seems like they've done some updates over the years, but it doesn't feel new, that's for sure. The biggest "miss" in my mind was that with all their restaurants, etc, they need to have room service. After a long day, we didn't want to sit in the hotel restaurant for a late dinner. However we didn't have a choice: we had to go down to the restaurant, sit, order, and get all our food to go. I watched several other guests carting food and beverages through the lobby. It just felt tacky.
Rebeca at the front desk was AMAZING!!! She literally made the whole trip perfect! This lady needs a serious raise and job promotion. . Made my anniversary magical! She’s a goddess! Made the whole trip!
Don't know...went there to pick up someone.
We're very polite helpful
A great event w/enjoyable golf and a decent buffet dinner.
We just had our wedding here last weekend. We worked with Lori who did a great job answering all of our questions and making the process as easy as wedding planning could be. Lots of compliments on our ceremony and reception, and the food was fantastic. Ran into a small hiccup with a charge and Lori responded within minutes and resolved the issue. Highly recommend Eaglewood.
We were there for a wedding. Awesome staff all night, right on . I have food allergies, they took care with no worries. Perfection..
Nice location for an annual golf outing and business seminar
Very clean. Super friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is not included. Would like to go back and go to the spa. Highly recommend. You'll also probably get lost in the halls its huge.
Golf course was in great shape. Will definitely play there again.
Nice restaurant and bar. Health club and the course is in good shape.
Amazing place, they have an indoor pool, spa, huge golf course, a bar right at the lobby, and another one downstairs. Room service is on point but if u dont use room service, you get $5 that u can spend at either of their food places on the resort. They have shuttle service that can take you to any of the nearby places. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely go back.
Always a great staycation.
Very nice but there are a lot of planes that fly over. Course well maintained, enjoyable to play just about one plane every 2 minutes flying over
Excellent golf course didn't stay at the hotel however next time I will
Great layout And personable stagg3
From the moment you walk in the door... you know you picked the right place
Great course, but beware the back 9 is way tougher than the front 9
I always enjoy staying at this property, They truly appreciate your business here and make you feel welcome
Bad layout. You have to walk far to your room, and the hallways are tight. Too loud to open the balcony doors and enjoy the breeze. Room itself was very average, nothing special.
Eaglewood Resort & Spa. We chose this because it was a good distance from O`hare, so it was not too far to drive to the airport. The room was quite standard, ok. But the "hotel" is definitely for those who want to play golf, probably terrific. But for those of us who did not play golf, we were a bit out of place. It is sometimes long to walk from reception and to both the southern and northern tower. If you are not a golf enthusiast then I would probably have chosen another place for accommodation. Service was good.
It was fun and there were a lot of fun things to do
NOT Pet friendly and not customer friendly. I had the worst customer service at the hotel from check-in to check-out. Firstly I checked in and wasn't informed of the total amount of the ho!d that was placed on my card, which included a $50.00 per day pet fee that I wasn't aware of plus an additional $50.00 per day in addition to the $19.00 per day resort fee. I found out there was a large hold on my account from my card company ,so I called the front desk to inquire about the charges and spoke with the front desk night auditor who failed to listen to my concerns regarding the poor service I received? at check-in , and she talked over me from the beginning to the end of the call and was argumentative the entire time and never once apologized? for the bad service I received at check-in. She pretty much let me know she and the hotel could care less about me and my pet . Asked what ammenites they have for pets and she said nothing ,we don't have anything for pets we just allow at the hotel. So I asked what the $50.00 pet day pet fee was for and she gave no explanation. It's basically a deterrent for pet owners not to bring pets to this hotel.
Frequent this location every 3 months for a work meeting. Nice accommodations but the food could use a serious revamp.
Business meeting. Highly recommend!
Honestly, the location and vibrant feel of the place should make it a 4 star if not 5. Unfortunately, our rooms patio door was broke which we struggled with time and time again; also it says free breakfast DO NOT BELIEVE IT. It was a breakfast buffet, which we assumed was free for how much we paid and it said it online, it is not free. $50 for 2 people to eat, we were infuriated.
The resort had a band playing outside

**This is a review regarding customer service/booking policies, not the resort itself.** Let me preface by saying I'm not a "let me talk to your manager" or leave-bad-reviews kind of person, but I'm doing it to get the attention of the resort and any customers who might be thinking about booking online. I booked 2 rooms at Eaglewood for November months in advance. I then had to cancel them, but again, I did this months in advance (it's August). I was told by customer service I would get a full refund within 5 to 7 days. 7 days passed, still no refund on my credit card statement. Called again, but was told this time that when you pre-pay online, it's nonrefundable. Asked if there was any other way I could get credit for another visit or something. No. So not wanting to be out the $500, I re-booked the rooms that I can't even use in hopes that I can gift them to someone else. This cancellation policy was not made at all clear to me when booking. My intent is not to bad-talk the resort or even get a refund; I just think a) potential guests should know that you apparently cannot cancel rooms, even months in advance b) the hotel should try to make this policy a little more clear in their online portal, or at least fill their customer service reps in so that no one is inaccurately told they can get a refund.

Played a round of golf and then visited their spa. The course is in great shape. The greens were very slow due to prior precipitation, but the course is well manicured. The spa staff is is attentative and knowledgeable as well. Great experience thus far.
Great place to getaway for the weekend. Great environment and the staff is friendly. This resort is great for weddings, anniversaries Ann's birthday celebrations. Everything is nice and clean.
Fantastic. I'm not a golfer but I was there for a 3 day training event. Beautiful grounds. Nice roomy comfortable rooms with a large deck overlooking the golf course. Super friendly staff.
Fun for the whole family, golf, bowling, billiards, couple's massage; you name it! Beautiful rooms with a great view!
Beautiful surrounding's, great staff. Only resort I know where every room has a balcony. Competitive prices.
Very nice place to stay. WAY too many hidden fees.
Nice and clean rooms, but you definitely need a car to go there.
Indoor pool... Not very nice
The rooms were big and clean. The rooms were quite and you couldn't hear the neighbors but you could hear noise from the hallway. Maybe if they put a noise/draft guard on the doors it would be much quieter. The pool was nice but it would be better if it was outdoors as well. The gym was excellent and I was surprised by the amount of equipment and the quality. The dart room was a bit lacking but it was nice to have the option. I didn't try the bowling alley and/or bar but maybe if I come back I'll check it out. The food and drinks were a bit pricey for the quality/amount and the steaks weren't very good. The salmon was excellent but the kids were upset they only had chips instead of french fries. We played bags outside and that was fun, I think maybe they should have some better lighting so you can play at night and maybe an explanation on how to play that version of bocce because I've never seen that one before. Overall, it's a great value for what you get and it's dog friendly.
One of the nicest hotels I've been in,the staff manager has so much hospitality, they all make you feel at home.the room, and hallways, restaurants bathrooms are so clean.i reccomend this hotel for weddings a weekend out or just because you'll enjoy it.if u have any concerns while u stay the manager will help u
Very nice place
Will be coming back!
Alot of walking not handicapped accessible
Great place for golf and cigars
Very peaceful and quiet. With a beautiful view
Too much walking.Air condition was terrible and the elevator were terrible. The best was the veiw of the Golf course from the room.
Golf course was in very good shape on a difficult day. Temp was 93, feels like 110 and due to heavy rain the previous day course was cart path only.
Home course, just play 18 with 4 clubs! It will be a good test!
They had horrible costumer service . They over charged me for stuff i never knew they could do that.
Average rooms. Bad Service at front desk and restaurants. Overpriced (poor quality) food. Pool had a bunch of garbage floating in it.
Great place, conserve drove me to the airport after his shift ended when my taxi no showed!

Love the Friday and Saturday summer concerts! They also have special food offerings for concerts.
Dirty balcony, AC didnt work
Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful resort. Went there for an Indian Wedding followed by lunch. Wedding was in the tent. Great place. Staff was excellent
The rooms need updating but the facilities are nice.
Wonderful time with the LEUKODYSTROPHY Conference
Terrible service because of under staffed
A resort worthy of 5 stars. The rooms are nice and come with a roomy balcony for 2-4 people and the beds are comfortable. But if you come visit you better not stay inside or you’ll miss out. They have life size chess outside. A beautiful golf course with exercise facilities that will rival any of your local gyms. If you feel like spending the money or are having a corporate even the breakfast will provide something that everyone loves. I recommend giving this place a look if you have a few extra minutes during a business trip or just need to get away for a night.
Beautiful resort, i was there for a conference and could not use all amenities. However, rooms and bathroom were clean, and these were huge with beautiful view. Front desk was courteous and arranged the shuttle for my group.
Great views, nice atmosphere.
Clean rooms...very high quality rooms for lower the price
Put me to sleep for a good reason.... Massage!
Loved it. Great old school Poconos feel (to me). Really nice golf and a super Businessman Late Special. $37 for cart, golf and rentals. All you can play after 5pm. Nice sports bar, lobby bar and bowling alley. Food was surprisingly good and varied.
Great resort that is very accommodating. We enjoyed the work meeting we hosted here.
Nice place for an event or party.
Great location for organizing conferences! Proffesional service!
Charged my card a random $15 and I'm now fighting to get it back. After 3 calls I am still not refunded, just keep giving me the run around. Out toilet sprayed water all over the bathroom every time we flushed it. It ruined my shoes and outfit for the night, I also had to call down to desk several times to get a working remote control for the television. Attempted to have lunch at the restaurant and we weren't just ignored by the staff we were actually given a dirty look by the waitress upon entry. After standing at the entrance for over 7 minutes with no acknowledgement by any staff we decided it must be a seat yourself establishment. We sat next to the only other table that was occupied by guests. We sat, and we sat and we sat...this went on for 20 minutes without even a glass of water. Mind you the place only had three tables seated with a total of 9 people, and the couple next to us had a bucket of beer and were done eating. We finally got up and left. I did not want to have to leave the "resort" after arrival but there we were getting in our car trying to find a restaurant. I am VERY disappointed in our stay here. I will caution anyone that wants to stay here to book elsewhere!
Sunday nights at 6 p.m. The Hub has a meeting
Anne M Pincus, P.
Good facilities for our conference.
Great spa friendly people
Great hotel very friendly staff.our kids enjoyed in pool all day they are very kids friendly thanks
Super friendly bar tender. Quiet and huge hotel
My husband and I have always like to go to Eaglewood for a weekend out of the house and now our little Princess like it as well.
Beautiful inside and out. And, more importantly, the staff was incredible- from housekeeping to the man who made my omelet to the housekeeping staff to the front desk to the lady washing windows to the staff stocking our meeting snacks and even random employees that I passed in the hallway - EVERYONE was pleasant and offered a greeting. They all gave the impression that they wanted to be sure the guest had an enjoyable visit.

This resort is absolutely amazing and their staff is the best I’ve ever seen in my life. We attended spring awakening music festival and were staying 3 days far out of town. We had a motel 6 reserved but they had sold the room out from under us. I was in a panic at 1 in the morning trying to find a place to stay and we called eagle wood and they told us to come on out. We arrived and Stevie at the front desk helped us try to find something cheaper for our second night, but we ended up loving the resort so much that we stayed all weekend and traveled to the festival from there. Stevie worked with us and she got the price as low as possible for us so that we still had enough money to enjoy our vacation. I don’t know what we would have done if it wasn’t for these awesome people. We were hours out of town at the time and thought maybe we would have to head home and that would be the end of our weekend getaway. The next day Jenna at the front desk was an amazing help in getting us some paperwork so we could charge the room on a card that we had left at home and she hooked us up with complimentary breakfast at their in house restaurant that served amazing quality and fresh foods. It appears as though spring awakening may be returning to Hoffman estates next year and if that’s the case we will definitely be staying with eaglewood again. I also suggest that if any other festival attendees plan on finding a room, this is the one for you. They were extremely friendly to us even though we looked practically homeless after raging at the concert all night and coming in sweaty and dusty. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and the soaps they offer were amazing, they smelled like fresh lemon and pine and they were all natural and environmentally conscious. Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience all of their amenities but they have something for everyone to enjoy their stay. A golf course, bowling alley, a spa, a pool and many other awesome things. Thanks again everyone, from the bottom of our hearts we appreciate you like no other, if it wasn’t for you our first free weekend as new parents would have been ruined.
Celebrated my 44th Birthday and I had a friggin' blast. From the bellhop to the concierge all the way to the unexpected visit from the room service who almost got eye opener. Mad props to Bobby "The Bartender" for his exciting theory on relationship & getting us super dooper drunk????????????????????????
Loved! Great size room, loved the balcony attached to the room, the grounds are amazing. Great place to relax and forgot about the responsibilities at home.
One of the best spa experiences my husband and I have ever had together. Very sexy private room with amazing amenities. Our massages were fantastic we will be back.
Super nice course and friendly staff!
Very nice golf resort, good food in both restaraunts, and a good number of various sized meeting and banquet rooms
Really nice actually. Rick Lindy played the lobby. Dinner was incredible. I'm surprised that place wasn't packed. Seating was immediate and service was speedy. Interesting and new dinners to choose from. I ordered the Reuben - Highly recommended!
Great staff, price and food.
Amenities fee for each guest at the end of your stay... Poor Form!!!
Quiet location, great facilities
Great place to have a birthday party
Beautiful place to be!
Very nice resort. Service was great. Room was very nice and modern, although it didn't have a microwave. Hot tub needs better care. We had the 2 night bed and breakfast package. Credits in that package covered most meals. The food was very tasty. All and all it was a nice and relaxing getaway.
GREAT place for wedding . Food & service was real good.
Very nice attention
Don't have refrigerator, rooms OK, breakfast buffet excellent, staff friendly, spa hours could be longer
Great space, but seemed bathrooms could use some maintenance, they were sloppy on the tile caulk and there was soapscum. Bed was a bit stiff like a board not soft and melt into, but aside from that the location, the surroundings, the food, the ascetic, all worth it.

Our family has been going for Mother's Day brunch and Easter brunch for a few years now. We have a family member with special needs who can be a little off putting but they always treat him so well and so kindly. We went yesterday for brunch and the food was amazing. Such a lovely morning.
Great place in the summer for family weekend, three bars, pool, spa and bowling. In the summer live music on the weekend. Great place for weddings and other social events. The view is a must see.
My husband and I were seeking a getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago and we found both recreation AND relaxation at Eaglewood Resort & Spa! Not only is it a simple 30-minute drive (on 290, which is a much more stomachable drive), it’s also situated near 2 nature/forest preserves, lots of shopping and attractions, and other areas of interest (which the complimentary shuttle will take you to, within a 5-mile radius!). I enjoyed a run at the beautiful Songbird Slough Forest Preserve – and what better way to recover than with a massage? We had a couples’ treatment and it was amazing. Additionally, we actually took some time to hang out in the Tranquility Room, because it’s beautiful and very thoughtfully laid out (there are chaise lounges in separate corners, so you don’t have to worry about laying awkwardly next to strangers, and you can pull a curtain around yourself, so you don’t have to listen to anyone else’s chatter, either – not my experience everywhere I’ve been!) And they even have snacks!! We had a delicious dinner at Prairie River after checking out the on-site golf simulator and were surprised to find out it was steak and half-price bottle of wine combo night (the t-bone my husband got was $18 and it was very well-cooked – and we eat a LOT of meat. We even dry-age our own – this was great steak). We also had the opportunity to check out the 6-lane cosmic bowling alley (which is also on-site) and loved the atmosphere. I sadly lost all 3 frames… but there’s always a next time! We rounded out our weekend getaway with a go-big-or-go-home Easter Champagne Brunch and stuffed our faces with more oysters, prime rib and pancakes than I care to remember – but it was all absolutely delicious. Besides all that, my favorite thing about our stay was the staff – everyone went absolutely above and beyond and was kind, warm and welcoming. Thank you for a great getaway!
Loved everything about it
Very cool place. Very spacious and nice surroundings. The bar downstairs is nice, but it would be cool if they turned the sound on and the music off during games. The clerks are very courteous and will help you at 24/7. The shuttle will take you anywhere in a 3 mile radius. All around very nice place.
Special place close by...
Great golf course, country club and resort.
It was a amazing place very clean place to stay
We enjoyed Easter brunch here and let me say they had everything covered. The selection of food at the brunch was impressive. We stayed as long as we could to try and eat a little bit of everything but there was so much that we were just too full. They had a fun Easter egg hunt planned for the kids and a set up for the kids to customize Easter eggs with markers and stickers. Every server was attentive and energetic, and we lucked out with an outside table. We have passed this place a hundred times and finally experienced how much thought they put into serving their clientele.
Great food and service
Nice conference location!
Room was fabulous! Nice and spacious. Breakfast and dinner was good.
Great golf course, greens will test u. Decent price. New carts with coolers and club / ball washers on board. Very good food. Friendly staff.
We were given a free night by their parent company because we had such an awful experience at The Abbey in Fontana which they also own. I'll go with the disappointments first. The small cafe had a menu...but it turns out they didnt serve anything on it. Just a website upgrade needed for that. I was surprised there wasn't any room service but we could do carry out. So that was ok. We did have to walk outside to get to the spa/pool building and it was pouring, but we were just going to get wet anyway. Our room was right by the elevator so a bit noisy, but not unbearable. The room was very nice, large and comfortable. Beautiful views of the golf course. Our meal was great. In the morning we ate at the breakfast buffet. It was great and included a yogurt bar. As crazy as it may sound, they had the best hashbrowns I've ever had! Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Staff needs coaching on customer service. Way better places at same price point. Left much to be desired. No fine dining. Not worth money.
The rooms are wonderful and the service is amazing
I love this place.A very good getaway....Im definitely goung back again.... Had a wonderful time
It's a fun & adventurous and also family friendly
Nice clean rooms.
Very classy and clean. The staff is very helpful and kind. I came for a youth leadership conference, and it was so wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints. I utilized the pool and jacuzzi and it was very clean.
It's a grand entrance but the rooms just don't have quite as nice of a feel. The view from the road had me thinking I was on the wrong road. Great selection of food and drink at the downstairs bar.
Justin Van B.
Friendly staff, awesome drink area, the room was extremely clean, and the pool was awesome!

Beautiful resort. Wonderful food. Went there for a conference.
Do your homework before you come here with your kids during spring break. Over booked the weekend. Bought the spring break package which includes bowling. Was told the following day (Saturday) they were booked through Sunday. We were very disappointed at first. The bar manager Steven made miracles happen and set us up with a Golf simulator game for the family then he hunted us down and scored us a bowling lane for an additional hour and a half after squeezing us in for 45 min earlier. Me and my wife were very impressed with the recovery. We definitely would come back with that level of customer care for a mistake on their part. Pretty place. Nice Market near the lobby for snacks smoothes and quick food. Breakfast buffet was above average. Well replenished with a decent variety of breakfast items. We will return for the summer! Thank you Steven!!
Had its ups and downs.
My family had a great time at the pool!
My husband attends meetings there at least once a year. I have been with him several times. Food and service are excellent. Area feels like country, but it's actually very close to suburban shopping. Resort shuttle will take you to the Metra station so you can visit downtown Chicago. Huge pool. I don't golf, so I cannot comment on the lovely course.
The pool is in a separate building, you have to go outside to get there. I feel like they should mention this on their website. It was a deal breaker for me, for sure. Also, it will cost you an extra $20 to use this "amenity". If you are going with your kids to swim, as we were, I would pass. Not family friendly.
Love this place.
Went to a 1 night session with Singles pleasing the Lord.
My husband and I had a fantastic kid-free stay here. They have a wonderful restaurant on property, Prairie River, that makes food from scratch. (Gotta try the Mud Pie!) Breakfast at Burnham's offers tons of option buffet-style including an made to order omelettes. We loved our rooms that were clean, comfortable, and modern. We never had to leave the property to have fun -- they have retro style bowling lanes with a bar, as well as golf and a golf simulator. If you really want to relax and indulge you'll want to book a massage at the spa, then hit up the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and pool. If you want to workout they have an awesome fitness facility with a separate weight room and cardio room. One of the best we've ever seen!
Excellent experience at our Students of the Year event.
First time staying here and it was great. Good staff, comfy bed, nice view. Wish the room had a mini fridge so I could keep my leftovers in the room. But over all a wonderful stay, I hope I get to come back soon.
Fun time, confusing layout.
Enjoyable except for the long walks to and from the rooms.
What an exceptional customer experience delivered by Jana! Thank you for your help in making our stay a positive, comfortable one.
The best breakfast in ANY hotel I have ever been. Super friendly staff and great amenities and rooms
Really nice resort, I will be back again. Very big "with everything in it.
Nice room, nice people, good food
The rooms are pretty and comfortable. However, in order to use the amenities, ie. spa treatments and pool, you have to go from building to building. A VERY bad idea, especially in the winter. The facility is very close to lots of restaurants and fun centers.
Very first time to the Eaglewood suites very very nice place everyone was welcoming we went there for our anniversary they made sure we really enjoyed our stay and we did the only thing was I wish the rooms had microwaves and the pool and bowling alley was inside hotel. But I will be back again...
Little less than great. Clean but very basic, no place to hang stuff
Clean and great customer service.
Great location and facility for a corporate event.
Beautiful !! Great stay and staff !!
It's a very nice place to stay. The only problem I had was that the room was freezing cold & I stayed during a time when Illinois was having extremely cold weather. So, it took quite a while to heat up the room. Also, I was unaware that the spa, pool, and bowling were in a different building, up a path. Unfortunately I didn't swim because I didn't want to walk back out in the cold after that. Although, my massage was wonderful. The breakfast is very good too. That day the chef was making the eggs fresh and they had a lot of food options.
The Market, restaurant, spa, and bowling close at 10 during the winter season. Bar closes at 10:30. If you're looking for a cheap room it isn't too bad but if you're trying to get the "resort" experience I think it's lacking.
It was okay, my husband and I had our gateway here
Top notch service
Nice place very cozy rooms and the balcony is a plus for me . Very professional not one problem at all on my stay here.
Extremely friendly catering staff, felt very welcomed.
Fabulous!! Was there for a marvelous wedding and the food was delicious and the attention to detail was incredible. I would totally recommend this venue to anyone.!!!!!????????????
Excellent place for a getaway nice room.
Nice resort. Alot if walking. Reasonably priced. Good food.
Nice place. Has just about everything you need available to you. Did not check out the spa. The rooms are nice but lacking refrigerators and microwaves.
Hotel ok, rooms were average but who wants to have to go to another building for the pool and spa. There should be a bridge or closed walkway joining the 2 building's . Hotel set up into 2 towers. IMO strange design. You're not far from O'hair airport and hear planes about every 10 minutes .The best thing there was the staff they were very accommodating
Nice accommodations and very clean. Long walk to elevators and odd setup. Great staff.
It's a Hidden gem.
That was amazing .
Nice resort made this visit for potential wedding venue but was not for me.
You have to go outside to use the pool. $19.95 buffet and the food wasnt good. Also room wasnt cleaned that well. However, staff was nice and professional
One of the best luxurious resorts you could ever visit. Went for girls getaway and never wanted to return back home. The staff is friendly always helpful. One of my favorite spa treatments was the bath. The tub was gigantic the jets were relaxing I felt like I was in paradise. We had a breathtaking view loved sitting on the balcony watching the sun set. The food was decadent just so delicious they cater to you spoil you. I practically lived in the hot tub during my time there. Give Eaglewood Resort & Spa a visit soon.
Old building, not too great for winter stays. Room amenities were limited. Wedding venue was fantastic though.
Beautiful rooms kind staff and food and drink were nice
Everything was good or great. The room was spacious enough for two. The balcony is one of the largest I've had in a hotel. The only downside was there was no refrigerator in our room, so if anyone wants cold water bottles or needs a place to store leftovers, some rooms may leave you wanting this. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, especially the bartender downstairs. Would recommend.
Eaglewood Resort & Spa
The room and the event rooms were nice. The coffee was great. Customer service was nice also.
Great wedding venue!
No coffee pots in the room. They said there was complementary coffee in the Market but it cost me $10.00 for two of them
My friend and I stayed here for a couple nights to have a full spa weekend. The staff at both the hotel and the spa are extremely friendly and accommodating. Top notch people. They were wonderful! The Marketplace is a nice little snack joint with a lovely array of choices for your late night cravings, but the cashier told us they close at 8? That was kind of a bummer.I definitely recommend the breakfast buffet at Burnham's...delicious variety of options and made to order omelette bar! However, the Prairie River dining experience left a lot to be desired from beginning to end. Poor service in a virtually empty restaurant. Watered down, flat drinks. The food was way overpriced and under quality. Had to actually go to the front desk with issues because our server was MIA. That said, the manager was understanding, remedied the situation and comped our bill. Not sure I'd go back to that restaurant though. Our room was definitely clean and comfortable...pretty view, balcony, crisp sheets, comfy blankets & pillows, but didn't have any small amenities like a coffee pot or mini fridge or much information about things within the hotel or room services. Upon closer looks, some things could use a little extra maintenance attention...a sconce was broken, some upholstery cleaning and the balcony could use a power wash. Nothing huge, just some TLC. The same could go for the pool area. It was great, but the steam room was actually quite moldy and like the balconies, the whole area needed a powerwash. Strange those types of things are neglected considering how clean the rooms and the Spa are. They could REALLY use a breezeway between the hotel and the spa/pool building. Our Spa experience was wonderful! Over two days, we had a mani pedis, facials, scalp massages, wraps and 90 minute massages. Nice treat!! I would say overall, this place is affordable, comfortable with a very accommodating staff. Some minor changes and it could be perfect!
Busy weekend with holiday parties and a wedding, still had a quiet stay and felt rested.
I hated the service there, the lady didn’t know the answers to not even one of my questions.
AMAZING customer service. Pretty good food. I booked yhis location for my teams Professional Development for 2 days. Eileen and Jenna (i believe was the managers name)for the hotel day shift was awesome. Working for my team, i made several adjustments all the way up to the 1st day and they were simply great. 1/2 of my team, including myself stayed overnight and Got the best REST!!!
The staff is friendly n the rooms are nice n clean
Good food, great company party!

We went for a day trip at the spa and overnight at the hotel during early December. Overall it was a very specious and comfortable room with a tub style shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included in the shower (although the water pressure wasn't amazing). Our room was by the elevator but it wasn't noticably loud. The spa was very nice, and we got a room package that gave us $150 to use at the spa. We got a package that included a massage, facial, and pedicure, all of which were excellent - a bit expensive for what you get ultimately but exactly what we were looking for.
Comfortably elegant. Great bed, great food, fantastic staff! They make you feel truly welcome. Next time I'm near Chicago, I know where to stay.
Went for Thanksgiving Day buffet...decent.
Hospitable, Large, Clean, Swimming, jacuzzi, Sauna, Golf, 2-restaurants for eating/drinking. Great place to visit.

The entire property is gorgeous. It is tucked away in a quiet and cozy area. Plenty of activities to partake in such as golf, bowling, swimming, a spa and endless other attractions. There are two restaurants on site and plenty of attractions and dinning options a few minutes away. The staff was phenomenal a nd the prices were fair. The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony! Will definitely be back!
Nice course enjoyed my time there
Overall a good stay. Did the couples retreat with my boyfriend. My only complaint would be that they ended our massage 10 minutes early (we started on time). We didn’t notice until we went back to our lockers and saw the time was 10 till 6pm, where our massage was supposed to go till 6pm. Another weird thing that happened was the following morning at 8am, an employee came and knocked on our door 3 times until we got out of bed to hand deliver our receipt. The receipt they could have slid under the door without disturbing us. I’ve never had a hotel knock on the door at 8am to deliver the receipt. It was $341 for the retreat. It included the 30 minute massage, breakfast, a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries (those were perfect), and a couple of drinks at the bar downstairs. I wish we realized they ended our massage early so we could have said something! It was a pricey package to lose out on the full 30 minute couples massage.
Great place to spend some time
Food and accommodations were all first class. Great place to stay.
Decent establishment. Spa is a bit pricey.

Nice but could use some updating.
Love this place
Paying for a Fridge was not convenient, not the cleanest hotel, great recpensionst, great view and activities.
The event was great, but the resort didn't have a lot vegan options, which is disappointing.
I love everything about this resort... Its welcoming and beautiful... Everyone is so friendly and helping... I love the rooms the shape and design are out of this world.... I would recommend families and couples to go to this resort you won't regret it...
I TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE SPA DURING MY CHURCH RETREAT. THE 60 MIN SWEEDISH MASSAGE WAS JUS WHAT THE DR. ORDERED. I'VE HAD MANY BEFORE BUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A+. I LEFT SO RELAXED, I FELT LIKE I COULD FLOAT BAC TO MY ROOM . MY MASSAGE THERAPIST WAS GINA. SHE'S SUPERB!
Clean, well maintained rooms. Fast internet and amazing omelette station for breakfast! Meeting rooms are usually very cold, so plan accordingly!
Great customer service!
Beautiful grounds and the hotel is very well run. The prices were even affordable!

Very nice hotel. Spacious rooms. As a woman I appreciate the seperate vanity space from the shower.
Charge for every little thing. No fridge no microwave
Very enjoyable stay. Clean comfortable room, pleasant and accommodating staff, beautiful views. Will definitely return.
Went for a meeting in a conference room. They provided nice food and drinks selection. Lunch in the restaurant was decent as well. Staff is very friendly.
The place needs a lot of updates
We have our National Sales Meeting at the Eaglewood every year. They are always accommodating, the food is generally pretty solid and it's a big enough place to find something to do outside of being stuck in a room all day. There's bowling, golfing, swimming, etc here as well. Nice place.
One of the best semi cost-effective hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The rooms are huge. All the rooms in this hotel are Suites. The staff is incredibly helpful in the breakfast is delicious.
Beautiful place to hold a conference.
course in good shape except for traps. sand a little hard. great service-love the water bottle honesty idea.
Really well done and very reasonable pricing, great food and really great staff. They really do go out of there way for there guests.

Stayed in the penthouse and it was a beautiful view. The hospitality was what I expected.
Went to see this venue for my wedding. The hotel and grounds were very nice, but it wasn't for us for the wedding.
My husband and I stayed at the resort to celebrate Sweetest Day. We enjoyed their amazing Lovers Getaway package that included the spa, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, late checkout, bowling and the BEST breakfast omelet station I've had in a while. Our view of the golf course was breathtaking. This resort is great for a romantic stay but I also saw many families having fun at the pool and near the fire pit. Our room was clean, the staff was very nice and welcoming and the decor was beautiful. Plus, parking was free! Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely go back for more!
Great place to take a quick trip without being too far from home. Golfing, bowling etc. All great things to do.

We were there for a 60 min massage. It was great and very relaxing.
Will provide update after having spent some time talking to the front desk manager. I am currently at the bar getting sloshed, so my typijg will get worse. Short version, he made it right. Props to him. So we literally just got here. Not going to go into the communication issues we had when checking in. We walked in and first sight wasnt bad. The room at first glance is newish. But after that first look it gets bad. Worn cheap wooden furniture from heavy use, the tv was flickering and warped picture. I got into the shower and while the front bathroom area is nice, the tub is a cheap white apartment style heavily worn single tub. I see the long black hair in there and laugh because i realized my S/O was already shedding and than i realized that i was the first and only person to shower. Gross. Cool. Maybe im in a bad mood from traveling and maybe i was being hard on them. I dried off, calmed down and laid in bed. The bed, was a bloody brick. No soft toppers, no quality sleeping here. Looked under the sheets and its a disgusting old heavily used box spring type mattress. The springs actually squeak. I took copacious pictures and videos because i can hear some of you thinking im a drama queen. This place looks nice from a distance but when ylu get close its quite terrible. If you are a family that is used to motel 6, than this place is a castle. If you expect nice things when you pay for it, then stay away. We should have stayed downtown and we will do so next time we are in Chicago. We didnt golf, and we havent used the spa side uet so we will update then.
Really nice but some of the hallways were dirty. Otherwise a beautiful place with good service.
For this time of year it was very nice.
Great stay, good service.
Beautiful place with not only a spa, but with a golf course and a small bowling alley!! Great staffand prompt service!
The chef is the best, the staff are the friendliest, and the setting is beautiful. Close to the airport and good facilities. Good for an event or wedding.
Once or twice a year we come here for a “staycation” and this time did not meet our expectations. Eaglewood is clearly slacking and getting lazy with their cleanliness. The first room we got had bugs on the wall (I have photos) and the sheets had a huge red stain (also have photos). Thankfully we got a new room. Asked for extra pillows they took 40 minutes to get to our room. Breakfast the next morning my coffee mug had crumbs on it, and my plate had dried up food stuck underneath! So gross. There was one guy running the whole restaurant which made us have to wait on him extra long. Overall bad experience and it will be our last time staying here
Front desk forgot to give us and at least one other group their wedding gift bags. No refrigerator or coffee in rooms. Told us room was on the same level. It was approx. 1/2 mile. We had an elderly woman who had to stop several times but never offered a wheelchair till we asked if there was a quicker route. Resort was clean and well kept up but front desk staff could be nicer. Also because we booked on Priceline they tacked on an extra $20 to each room we reserved that was not disclosed at time of booking.
It's a nice resort. Very large. I do wish the pool was open later. Breakfast is great.
Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. It is worth the extra distance to rent a car and drive here or uber. Stranded in Chicago after several flights were cancelled and all hotels near the airport were full. We were able to get a room here and it was wonderful. Beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable, and great staff!
Wonderful experience all around
Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay!

Good for and venue for a wedding
The spa was nice but I was not completely satisfied with my stay. Upon arrival, Jenna at the front desk was not very pleasant. We checked into our room, put our bags down and went to the bar for a drink. The "bartender" was also not the best. She definitely didn't know how to make a whiskey sour or a Manhattan. We later learned that none of the bartenders know how to make a drink properly and just ad-lib/don't measure any of the ingredients. After leaving the bar we went back up to our room to before going to the spa but the key card did not work. We went back down to the desk and Jenna cut a new key. We went back up to our room and the key still did not work. We called the desk while in front of our room but no one answered the phone. We went back down to the desk and the manager quickly determined that the battery on the key card reader was dead and called facilities to open the door. He accommodated us with a $50 resort credit and moved our room to a golf course view. While we appreciate the accommodation, we learned that night that the bathtub did not drain in the shower. The next morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast. The hostess/waitress was very rude. We asked to sit at the table near the window and she said "no, it's not ready" but another waitress came up to us right after her and said it was fine that we sit there. She cleared our plates and glasses away without asking if we were done or wanted more juice and never brought our check over even though she took all of our eating utensils away. We had to chase her down to pay for our meal and leave. While the spa was very nice and I enjoyed the treatments, it would be nice if the spa was in the same building as the rooms. You have to walk outside across the parking lot to go to the spa/pool. Jenna did give us a room credit when we checked out to make up for the bathtub not working properly. I appreciate them trying to accommodate us for the problems but I will most likely not return to Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca.
Very nice property. Older but maintained. The rooms with the balconies are amazing to sit out in the early morning and have coffee. The special bed and breakfast deal is a good one. Breakfast was very good in a beautiful setting. The only reason for 4 stars was due to no fridge in rooms. I saw others mention it on trip advisor thats something that a lot of people have mentioned how to improve. It seems to be ignored.
Great appetizers, perfect suburban hang out with a date.
I’m a frequent player at Eaglewood. Always consistent condition of this well maintained course. Equally challenging and rewarding. Staff is always attentive and friendly. Can be a little slow at times on weekends. Also, would like to see FREE water on the golf course.
Great location for a business conference.
Beautiful location, excellent food, not always handicap friendly.
Played golf here with some friends and the course is in great conditions this late in the season. The greens are very challenging but fun to putt on. I would definitely play here again.

The rooms were beautiful...the basic queen room surprisingly didn't have a fridge. TV had I think basic cable, plus HBO 1 and 2. We paid a minimal amount extra for the golf course view, and I felt it was worth the lil' extra. The pool was fine, but didn't have a section shallow enough for younger children (shallowest was about 3'6"). The movie playing was kind of a nice addition to the swimming experience. The sauna didn't get very hot. But, the steam room was literally life changing, great temp and some menthol thing. Other amenities we tried, bowling ($30/ hour, no extra fees for shoes), billiards (free), darts (they were pay to play, but, honestly, each time we put a $1 in, we had to give away the rest of our time), bocce was cool, there's some other cosmic thing outdoors, but I didn't get to try it. We didn't really eat here because we had a lot of events that had food. But, the menus looked pretty good and like there was a decent price range for this type of resort. (It's Itasca, so if the resort food is out of your price range there's so much around.) The place seems really well taken care of--lawns looked great, flowers, waterfall displays, all beautiful. The crowd it attracts seemed really diverse. There were a lot of wedding parties, at least three, as well as a whole bunch of families and couples. I really enjoyed myself. The staff all seemed really courteous and welcoming. They don't really answer external phone calls, though. But, picked up right away when I used the rooms phone.
The front desk staff is rude and not accommodating. To reach the pool you have to cross the parking lot (uncovered, outside). The resort fee of $50/night is excess as it only translates to essentially pool access. No preference given for spa appointments or golfing tee times for hotel guests. The internet is very slow (can't stream). Please note difficulty if you are handicapped as no entrance close to rooms without stairs and steeper ramps (plural ramps) and lengthy walk (750 ft minimum) if you enter by lobby which is only entrance handicapped accessible from parking lot. Difficulty reaching staff once you've checked in as well (on wait for guest services 5+ minutes mutliple times) and slow response time. Must triple confirm you have golf course view or its the parking lot. Blocks of rooms do not guarantee rooms actually together. Fourth floor rooms don't have balcony, third floors rooms are actually ground floor, but look larger. On the plus side: clean and pretty grounds. Conference facilities look nice as well.
Great resort for a relaxing weekend.
My husband and I visited this place for our 3rd year Anniversary. Beautiful environment, love the trees and gulfing grounds surrounding the hotel...the rooms were not what I expected (a bit small) but they were spacious enough for the two of us. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the nice cozy restaurant on the main level. We also enjoyed their other amenities: Spa, Gulfing, Bowling, Live Music. The people/staff were pretty friendly as well. We had an all around nice time...???
Nice view and service.
Great facility and amenities
Clean rooms, good facilities, surprised to find the rooms were noise free in spite of the flights constantly flying over to touch down in o hare. Good experience!
Great place to stay, relax and have fun with family and friends.
Wedding venue was beautiful directly on the golf course! We had great tasting apps and amazing filet dinner with the best cake ever!
Very nice and friendly golf course.
Great stay. Enjoy golf and the conference center.
Nice rooms and sevice. The hallways look a bit dated and the South Tower is a long walk from the main entrance and conference center. Stayed here 5 times now and will gladly come back in the future.
Beautiful place to stay, friendly staff throughout resort, clean and comfortable. Atmosphere is amazing.
Massage and pedicure with lunch after. Great day.
Food was average, no bell service at check in, no iron in room, light bulb out in room and hole in screen door.. Front desk staff not very accommodating.
Great views. Really small/strange layout of rooms and building itself. All in all, a good place.
Nice location. Room was decent but beds were rough. Service was helpful and pleasant. Great stay.
It was what I expected it to be.
Short but fun. Love the back 9. Always decent shape. Nice staff.
I booked a treatment called Reiki. It was an experience for clearing my chakra. I was able to sleep very well that night.
Beautiful resort, good food, and great golfing.
A sprawling premises, suites, halls for organising social functions, a golf course.
Played 18 at the golf course. Pace of play was good and course was in great condition.
The most beautiful place to stay..love it
Extremely nice place.
Golfed on a Sunday morning. Course was packed. Tee times every 8 minutes did not help. Constant backups at every tee box, holes are so close together that there's a chance an errant shot will land on your tee box. Rangers were nowhere to be found to speed up pace of play, but had no problem carting guests around to take photos of the course. The course itself is in great shape though.
Great Service and Experience!
A very nice and quite Neighborhood and nice Hotel with many amenities, however, rooms needs maintenance, we stayed in two different days dates and in different rooms and both had significant problems, a renovation is urgent.
Nice hotel but staff was not the most accommodating
Went golfing, course is in good shape, just a little short
Nice resort, but rooms need updating.
Eaglewood is a very playable golf course. The proshop staff is helpful and friendly.
First time there looks nice
We got to play today in spite of some rain today. Course handled the rain very well. Fun course to play. It is in very good condition and offers several sets of tees.
Very classy! I really enjoyed the atmosphere!
Had a golf outing here. Course was awesome. Very challenging. Banquet food was just ok
Relaxing place listening to music with friends. Service not great maybe short handed.
Nice room. Welcoming staff. Relaxing spa
Great spa and resort package! Girls soa getaway was definitely worth the price
Very comfortable, good food
We attended a beautiful engagement party in the tent in the back. Beautiful grounds and great service!
Great ambiance and conference room
Location is awesome
The hotel was in a great spot and provided plenty of activities like golf. The rooms were spacious and were comfortable to be in. The only complaint was that the room could have been cleaner especially the bathroom.
Very friendly staff with great customer service and marvelous food.
We had a great conference here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thank you Karen for making our week go so smooth.
Did a twilight 18 holes on the course. It was lovely.
Jazzy J. H.
Very nice quite setting.
Really enjoyed my weekend here with my husband!!!
Great service and beautiful architecture
Great resort! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, clean room, and good food. I'll be back!
The rooms are comfortable, clean with nice decor. The service was excellent. Food was good too. Clean bathrooms also. Finding our room was a bit tedious though. The resort layout can be rather confusing for new guests. Will definitely try out the spa the next time.
Shocking at how this place is as a resort! Extra room charges. When asking for a blow dryer for the room because the one in the room doesn't work and it took over an hour and a half before we decided to just leave and have NO IDEA how long it took to get the blow dryer. The over-priced restaraunt(however it really was good and good quality), was expected, but it's pretty crazy of a place.
Beautiful grounds, sprawling building with plenty of room and amenities. A bit dated but overall a nice place.
Beautiful course. Very strict on the rules though.
Bar closed at 1 with a wedding party there. Pretty lame
Very nice, hotel bar is better than most. Rooms with balconies are great to hang out in
We booked an overnight romantic getaway 2 months in advance. The room we received was ground level-facing a parking lot. This is a resort with a golf course and some beautiful views. We expected a much nicer view for the $350 we paid for ONE night. Next issue is the lack of signage in the hotel. There is very little showing where things are. Once you walk around a bit it's easy to remember, but nobody tells you where the amenities are on check in. We assumed there would be a map in the room like most places, but couldn't find anything. Our package included a 30 minute couples massage. My husband enjoyed his, I thought it was nothing special. The spa doesnt have a separate jacuzzi or pool, so it's not very relaxing when there's a kids movie playing in the pool and kids everywhere. Had we come with our kids I would've loved the pool area, but still haven't been to a spa that hasn't had a separate jacuzzi amenity for their guests. Pretty much all of the amenities are in a separate building, not fun to get to on a rainy day. Lastly, if you go to their restaurant, there are separate menus if you eat on their patio. Nobody told us this. We chose the patio because of the pretty views and indoors was very loud. The menu we received had maybe 10 items. It started to rain as we ordered dessert so we moved inside. That's when we realized there were much nicer meal options if you chose to eat indoors. Also, they charge you an "outdoor fee" to eat outside with a limited sandwich style menu! That aside, the food we did have was good, at both restaurants. We were very disappointed in our stay. The staff didnt go out of their way to inform us of choices and amenities we could benefit from during our stay. The staff were all pleasant, but that's it. We spent way to much money for what we received and will not return. It's been a long time since we had an evening child free, and feel we could've had a similar or nicer time at a Holiday Inn or similar.
Beautiful wedding. Good service. Food was disappointing.
Great music on fridays throughout the summer
Nice hotel, great architecture. They nickel and dime you on everything. Need a comb, put out the cash. They could learn from Holliday Inn Express. A 25 cent comb will loose a customer.
Clean friendly and tons to do.
It was a very nice resort especially if you are into golfing it had a whole golf area towards the back of the building
Had a great two night stay over the weekend. The rooms were very well kept and the staff was very friendly.
The rooms were clean and comfortable! We had a snafu at check in, but they were able to remedy the situation. The hotel has obviously been updated recently. It was strange having to walk across the parking lot to get to the pool. The rooms do not have fridges and microwaves. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and it was great having the restaurant and bar available in house, but it is also very close to other restaurants!
Played golf at an outing. Nice course, decent service
Rooms were elegant and clean.
The Eaglewood Resort and Spa was a very nice place, all the workers were kind and they had good food.
Very nice place
Not too clean, and ants in our room (it was spring time), but management promptly sent a worker to fix the issue.
Just passed by
Food sucks. Attention to detail in environment poor. They rely on beautiful golf course view to save the day
We did a girlfriend weekendat the resort just to rest up and regroup. The pros it's a beautiful place, clean and comfy beds, and the staff waa very nice and helpful other then one a( Cathleen in the restaurant). So the cons are this host Cathleen in the restaurant was just rude which caught us off guard because we had, has a beautiful morning and afternoon at the spa and pool area and was hungry and ready to eat. She first greeted us like we didnt belong there, which made me explain we just left the spa(maybe she didn't look up to part) but looking around NO ONE was dressed. We decided to eat outside, i found a table in the shade with other people but she said No that's not good because we are short handed i will sit you here no shade or people. I hate to think it was racist but we looked around and realize ww were the only black people there, which normally wouldn't have mattered but at this point we both was irritated by her and ended up leaving and scrambling for something to eat, needless to say she messed up our great day. Now i did go back to the restaurant the next afternoon and the waitress was great but i am fighting charges because that afternoon i psid with my card and tyey still put it on the check out bill. The food at the resort is just ok nothing to write home about, watch your bill, there is a lot of walking so be ready for that and they have no real room service (only from the resorts market????). The resort is beautiful but i don't have to go back
Nice hotel, all rooms have balconies.
I had a good night and a good time there I will be back again
Nice place and fairly clean. However, the customer service as it relates to the restaurant needs improvement. To add, the breakfast buffet is extremely expensive.
It's a very nice experience
It was well located. The staff was very nice. I especially liked the food.
Very nice place. Great view from 11 floor. Nice pool and weight room!
Amazing venue for a wedding reception and great hotel for the guests. Staff are constantly on top of what needs to be done, very accommodating, and always friendly.
Room was clean and comfortable but the A/C was lacking.
Staff was great, very responsive. Good service at the restaurants. Only complaint was the bathroom, the shower faucet kept falling off
Golfing was fun but restaurant food was ok.
The service was wonderful, and our room was very clean and spacious. Our only concern was that a few things in the bathroom were broken. The shower handle wasn't attached, and intermittently fell on your foot, the soap tray had a metal bar broken off that would poke you if you leaned on it, and the bathroom sink barely drained. These are pretty minor maintenance issues though, so overall enjoyed the stay.
One of the most beautiful resorts in the area. Fast service as well. Towers get a nice view off the balcony.
Nice digs here both in hotel and meeting accommodations. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
Good service but the facilities are outdated and looking a bit worn.
We attended a family event at the Eaglewood Spa. Although we saw a golf course and hotel rooms our entire experience was of a tent setup outside the venue. It was cooled, food and drink were plentiful, it was quiet enough to complete our event, and bathrooms were close by. There was plenty of space for children to dance and run. An open air balcony gave us a view of golfers nearby, so we could plan a similar outing. Overall it was a high quality experience.

Just an ok place to stay. From a family perspective there’s many other nicer, more suitable options in the Chicago area. There’s not easy access to the rooms. You have to carry your luggage and children for what seems like miles to get from your car to your room. You can be a little closer, but then you have stairs to tackle. The pool is the same way. It’s in a separate building across the parking lot! We planned to swim on a rainy day during our stay. We got drenched on the way to and from the pool because it’s a long walk. Thankfully it’s summer time. We wouldn’t have made the trek in the cold months. There’s no refrigerator in the rooms. Again not ideal for families. So when your children want some milk you have to walk forever to the market near the lobby and pay nearly $4 for a cup of milk. The bed was big and comfortable. The carpet had stains. The bathtub was old and worn and the subway tile was moldy. The balcony was moldy as well. Since I have children I travel with bleach cleaner and cleaned it myself. The housekeeping staff is stingy. I suppose it’s part of their green initiative. Our towels were only restocked at half of what were available when we arrived. Except for washcloths. Only 1 of those were replaced even though we left four to be taken. No extra toilet paper was left either. So when my son ran out he had to use tissues because I couldn’t leave him for the 15 minutes it takes to get to the lobby and back. We stayed here because it’s where my husbands brand contracted with. Luckily for us his company will pay for our accommodations wherever we choose. We will not be returning to Eaglewood.
Played a round of golf. Great course for the price.

Our bed had a strain on the sheets and someone else's hair on a couple of pillows. The event that we had scheduled for months in advanced had room changes that we were not advised about ahead of time for our large group events. Some members of our group we asked to stay off site. The staff was nice but, as I mentioned there were a number of concerns with this location Not a location I would choose to return to again.
Was there for a wedding. Great space with a good view. Food was good too
We've played here several times. Relatively short course. Good condition except for when it rains; they have to close several holes. Last time they closed the entire back 9. Drinks are expensive and I can't remember ever seeing a drink cart.
Clean and well appointed room. Inclement weather forced several modifications to group/conference. It was well handled and communicated. Improvements recommended: Fix the peeling paint on the balcony roofs. Create WiFi throughout your space, not just rooms. Improve the WiFi login process. Your room card says free (and it was), but the login said we would be charged. One service issue: it was disappointing to wake up the second morning and discover we had 1 regular coffee and 3 decaf for the in room brewer.
Came here for my girlfriend's family reunion. A very large and unique hotel, staff has been friendly and accommodating. They've held events here for years so I think that says something. Being on 20, it's not far from other restaurants and shops, which is nice.
As always a great golf experience.
It's good enough. There are a million other, better places in the Chicago area to have a conference, but it's not the end of the world if you get sent here. The rooms themselves are older, but acceptable. The conference rooms are fine, the food options are standard conference catering. I don't hate it.
Nice, clean amenities! Staff was polite.
The kings bed was very comfortable and the lobby area so nicely decorated and appealing.
I wasn't there as a guest, but guest of guest. From outside looking in,very spacious room w/ balconies. First class looking accommodations. Bowling alley in hotel . 18 holes top shelf golf course. Bars. Restaurant. Band on patio at night. Like I said. From outside looking in. I'd definitely stay here. No free breakfast I heard.
Diane was fantastic, the lobby and grounds are impressive. Gorgeous room. Wish I could have spent MORE time there.
Awesome staff. Awesome conference place for large groups.
The staff is wonderful here. Everyone is nice and accommodating. The food is amazing. They've got a resident chef I believe who is very proud of his food, and he should be. Was here for work, and was pleased with the variety of snacks and food. Some conference rooms will freeze while others are hotter, but It could be that the facilitator was controlling that portion. Their tent outside is beautiful. I enjoyed my stay here. The fire pit is humongous and we were able to play glow golf!
Not a very good brunch especially for mother's day.
I book the room a week before I came and they were faithful to reserve it for me. I was so pleased with the check in service.

I was there for a party. Only visited the spa building. Facility could use some updating. Parking lot is frustrating.

Golf course was enjoyable for an amateur and course staff friendly and helpful

Very friendly staff. Loved Patrick who greeted us at the main entrance. Very personable! Food was good at the downstairs restaurant. Would come back.

This superior find is a beauty. Golf. Spa. Swim. Shop. Relax. The best restaurants. Gift shop. You do not want to leave. The best rooms. Really modern beds. Great bathroom area. Close to O'Hare airport. Close to Woodfield Mall. Bring your family for a golf outing. Great meeting rooms. Come check us out.
I attended a wedding and the ball room reception was beautiful! The food was ok and the staff was friendly but overall very good experience.
I'm here now a little uncomfortable because the bed was stained. Switched rooms and it's snot tissue by the headboard ugh. Our bed was very uncomfortable because not all of their bed are pillow top. Other than the beds being a mess and the maid's half cleaning. The trip was pretty good. Just need to tughtig up on cleaning.
I was only here for 10 minutes doing something with pokemon
It's fine. Not great. Big though. Lots of stuff to do
(Translated by Google) It is a very cozy place where you can enjoy your time and the taste of your food that is very rich especially your breakfast (Original) Es un lugar muy acogedor donde puedes disfrutar tu tiempo y el sabor de tu comida que es muy rica especial mente tu desayuno
Nice facility and good staff
Beautiful facility, friendly staff, great venue for events!
Nice pet friendly rooms with screen doors to the outside, dining is okay, drinks are insanely expensive so beware
Reasonable prices if you don't want to go very far.
Nice resort, mediocre layout as wedding venue.
Hospitality is great. Staff friendly. Food excellent. Amenities fantastic. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Was at the bar for a business function and the place was amazing.
Wonderful spa experience
Nice hidden gem. Spa and restaurant very nice. Will return to try the golf course
Nice a lot of fun things to do and relax
Andre King Drilla W.
The staff is so pleasant and courteous. The bar and restaurant staff is attentive and efficient. A great place to stay and relax. Thank you Eaglewood.
I had a wonderful stay at Eaglewood Resort. This is a beautiful resort near Chicago. The staff, golf, and food was great! Would definitely stay again
Friendly staff very helpful. Papa Ray's delivery 24" pizza. For late night wedding party,.
Place is ok, but food disappoints. Glorified motel continental breakfast for over 20 bucks! Calling a regular sliced loaf of supermarket bread "artisanal" doesn't justify the price for basic Sysco buffet.
Great and fancy hotel
The main meeting space and the smaller conference rooms were very nice, but it seemed like the heating and air conditioning was on the fritz. The main issues involved the lunch. The cooks forgot to put out many of the descriptors for the dishes. These are important because they list which items are gluten free. The cook responsible for slicing the meats had the demeanor of being inconvenienced by us being there. The wait staff did not make it to everyone during the hour we were there to see if we wanted anything other than water. One of the ladies at my table ordered coffee and it arrived at room temperature. When she asked for it to be heated, it came out only barely warmer. I asked a different server if they had hot coffee. She said they have coffee. I asked her if it was hot, if it was fresh. She said that it was old coffee. I had to ask her to put on a fresh pot, which was made in a different part of the resort. (I could see the coffee station through the window of the service door, and that is not where she got the coffee from.)
Rooms are not spacious but Golf course and location is good.
Great place friendly
The venue for the event was very nice
Today was not as good as my previous experiences there! But there was frost this morning, and it really put everyone behind I am hopeful that the next time will be better
Just peaceful & beautiful!
The spa was amazing. The massage was amazing and so were the other services that I received that included a paraffin pedicure and a blueberry facial. The receptionist that helped me was very helpful and suggested many of the services I recieved. They also have nice rooms for showers, changing, lockers and the amazing tranquility room of peace. I enjoyed the experience.
It was amazing. Everything was great, the atmosphere and the people. The breakfast in the morning had everything you could possibly want. We will definitely come back soon.
The company I work for held their annual Christmas party here, it was a great location for that. The only thing was, even though the company paid for our rooms, we still had to use our own credit cards as collateral ( I'm assuming, in case of damages and so forth) which I understand. But they charged my credit card a holding fee and I did have to go back and forth with them quite a few times to get my money returned. Besides that I had a great time and it's a beautiful resort, I'd like to go back when it's time for golf season!
Pool and activities are across the parking lot and you have to walk outside to them. Rooms are very nice and big with a balcony. Gold course looks really nice.
Great place for a corporate event. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are spacious and well attended.
A bit of country half an hour away from the city.
Nice place good food and good staff..
I really enjoyed my stay here. I was here on business in 2016. This is my husband first time here and he really loves this place. We're thinking about throwing our 5th Anniversary and his birthday day party here. The people are so professional and courtesy here. I am not ready to leave ????????
It was amazing. Everything was great, the atmosphere and the people. The breakfast in the morning had everything you could possibly want. We will definitely be going back.
I had a beautiful experience
Really enjoying my stay here. Good food, lots to do, very nice staff. Close to several restaurants. Fairly close to downtown Chicago.
All things considered very disappointing the food was okay but the place was ice cold and obviously they make their money from drinks go there if you're really hungry
Nice place to stay at for business
Great place for a conference multiple options and a great and friendly staff
Great for relaxing
Nice golf course. Good spott for local weekend getaway.
Eaglewood has a ton of things to do. Great place to take the kids. Food was excellent. We all had a great time.
Plenty of cool stuff to do. Not just another hotel
Best place ever for family or just a get away weeknd. Been here several times their staff is amazing and all activities available you need atleast 2 to 3 days to enjoy them all.
It has a great spa, pool, bowling alley, and work out facility!
Good place for SIGGRAPH committee meetings. :)
The pool is grungy. Food is ok. Service was good.
Wonderful location. Went to a wedding there. Had a great overnight rate for wedding guests. And the wedding was beautiful. Delicious food and good service
It was amazing
A bit dated but with nice grounds.... Staff are friendly.... Room clean and comfortable
Nice rooms and good breakfast. I didn't used the spa facilities. Seems to be next to a good course.
The staff were very helpful and very nice the room was very clean with a great bathroom and a great TV and the air from the heat and A/C until left the room very comfortable and the pool was very nice to go swimming in me and my wife where very very happy.
My 1st time here, loved it we will be back
Amazing food and service
I had the mommy to be massage. The massage was wonderful. The spa and locker room are small and in need of a little TLC.
Great Spring Break experience for the family!????????
My friend love this place
(Translated by Google) The room was also very nice. (Original) ?????????????????
Nice, clean, updated rooms and facilities
Great spring break package. Tina and Victor were some of the best employees ever. Awesome breakfast. Pool was chilly and there was a private party from 7 on that made bowling difficult. Rooms are old but kept up well. Pool not attached to main area and it's always a bummer to walk to your room wet and outside.
It was amazing. Everything was great, the atmosphere, the people, the service, we used the fitness room. The breakfast in the morning had everything you could possibly want. We will definitely be going back.
Nice weekend getaway for folks who like to stay close to home. Kids friendly, something for everyone that includes golfing, swimming, spa services and dining. Not too bad for that “weekend away from home” feeling.
Samantha Kelly W.
Over exaggerated pool location uncomfortable. More of a business setting.
I had a wonderful time
(Translated by Google) Very good attention (Original) Muy buena atencio
To start with going outside to go to the pool in the winter not cool. Fish fried night one kind of fish, the fried was not good no refrigerator or microwave in room. Customer service was excellent the people that were cleaning the different are were i was eating was so friendly.
Great experience with lots to do for a great price. Very satisfied and will return
Friendly staff and beautiful golf course
The woman working at the front desk, Diane, was incredibly friendly and helpful. My family and I were stranded in Chicago when we missed our connecting flight to Miami due to flight delays leaving St. Louis. Diane made us feel at ease by welcoming us to the resort and making sure we had a place to stay for the night. I will definitely come back to Chicago just for a weekend trip to stay here.
I came here for a hiring event and the resort is fairly nice. The recreational areas and meeting rooms were well kept and nice. The rooms left me wanting more (both in style and cleanliness).
This was a nice resort. I went during the off season so there was not a lot of people around which gave me and my friends an opportunity to rest and relax. The pool and spa area are not in the hotel but in a separate building next door. Be aware if you go during the winter time and dress accordingly.
Definitely a hidden gem. Have worked near Eaglewood for years and never new it was anything but a golf course and spa. Took my wife there for Valentine's Day and discovered all the amenities. From a great Cocktails to good dinner to a bowling alley and nice and clean work out rooms. This place is more then just golf.
Eaglewood is a very relaxing place with a friendly staff.
Great place to relax
I wish the property had a tunnel or bridge to connect to the spa, fitness center, and pool for those cold days.
Very relaxing. Would come back again. Unfortunately I went there for my one year with my boyfriend and he had to upgrade the room for the massage voucher. Which we tried to do a couples massage and wasn't able to, so I had to have the luxury of going by myself then come to find out the room I had my massage in was a two person room. There was no fridge in our room which is crazy since we had to upgrade. Other than that it was fine. A little confusing on where things were. Felt like we were in a labrynith with all the hallways and turns.
Had a great stay, lovely facility, great restaurant, one of the golf course marshals was quite rude, though. Put a damper on an otherwise great time.
Amazing and spacious! Wonderful staff!
First staff is very rude, unprofessional and having the pool across the hotel hate it.
I attended the Fish Fry last night. The food was delicious. The Service was Great. Our Server treated us with kindness and like family. But most of all what touched my heart is not only the price of the Fish Fry but the fact that you stand by the idea that no child in America will go hungry in your establishment as children 12 and under eat for free. I saw many a single parent with a smile on their face and their children too! God bless you all for giving children a quality home cooked meal! Sincerely Janet M Belzer Schaumburg Illinois
Love the pool and bowling alley! My mom says the spa is great. We have an annual membership and live locally and love it so much we stay nights here for "vacations" the staff is so friendly and always helpful with accommodating any needs you have, or really anything to make your stay better. We had a small issue with the bed being too close to the wall for my mom to get up from her side and they had our rooms switched for us when we got back. Truly wonderful people. And there's always something exciting going on! Dance competitions, live music, aqua classes... They have everything. Definitely worth the stay. Will add pics soon. Enjoy yourself!!!
You And M.
Had a nice time. Even though I'm not really into spa days. Thanks for not hating me.
Always get top notch service when I eat at prairie river. Salmon was delicious and variety of the menu was great. Only wish is they had nutritional information for their items. Would recommend.
Great place. Our first time there. Beautiful grounds. Had man's and peds then lunch at the resort across the parking lot. Lunch was fantastic. Must check it out. Outdoor entertainment during warm weather. Came back and had a massage very relaxing with very knowledgeable staff. Bought some maintenance items. Nice prices during the week. Well worth the trip.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great hotel and conference center. Good food, perfect meeting spaces, and solid break stations and food. Overall recommended for business meetings

Was here for training. Rooms are dated, but the conference center and restaurants are great.
Nice hotel. Unfortunately our room (501) had an obstructed view of the property that we were not informed of. Amenities were limited. No refrigerator in room. Breakfast buffet was good but pricey. The chef for one letter was exceptional .
It's an excellent please
Hidden gem, had no idea this place even existed before stopping by with a friend.
Nice resort. Great ambience
Great hospitality. Good service. Plan to book my church Faith Movers Marriage couples retreat there. Please help me out.
Place has too many inconviences, all activities including swimming pool in a seperate building. Called to have fork brought to my room and was told i have to come down and get it unless im buying something.
Awesome course! Not too difficult unless you suck like me and very well kept. God food too!
This place is fantastic. The only thing I don't like is that you have to leave the hotel building to get to the other building that has the pool, spa, and bowling alley. It was freezing outside so the walk want fun lol.
My friends and I had a great experience here for a girls weekend. The staff was so nice and helpful, the rooms big and very clean.
I attended a social event here and overall had a good time. The venue was good but the drinks were a bit overpriced and the quality of the food was a bit lackluster considering what I had paid.
This is recommended, we spent a pleasant moment with friends, good attention, of course we will return .
Always a nice weekend getaway.
The room was great and location was easy to find and service was great.
William O S.
Check-in was slow, slow, and slow. Awkward layout of tower.
Very nice place, great staff
Love the Spa.
If you wanna walk forever to get to outdated 70s type rooms for high prices then this is for you.
Nice spot to get away... had a great time
Attentive friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Good food.
Too expensive for what they offer.
Attended a professional development committe meeting held in the facility. Nice facility with easy access to the highway
Me and my husband used a Groupon of a spa day and it was amazing!!! Everything was great, the atmosphere, the people, the service, we used the fitness room, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and end up getting a room there for the night. The room was much larger then we expected and the breakfast in the morning had everything you could possibly want. We will definitely be going back there!
The hotel has a rustic and cozy ambiance. It feels very homey and warm. My family went there for a quick staycation to celebrate my son's birthday. While the hotel is spacious and quaint for a quick relaxing escape, I have to give it 4 stars because their amenities is detached from the main hotel. If it gets very cold, guests will have to bear walking outside just to visit the pool, bowling alley and the spa.
Clean and good service.
Amazing atmosphere and knowlegable and informed staffs who were able to help us chose the right wine and drinks.also the place is beautiful with modern facilities.
Love the Jacuzzi and sauna rooms
Place was very clean. Seemed like there was lots to do there
Having eaten at the restaurant inside the resort I have to say the food was not very flavorful. None of the five items me and my fiance ordered we're very good, the staff was very nice however.
Feels like Twin Peaks in there
Beautiful place great staff
You get a great feeling walking into the lobby and seeing all the smiling faces. It gives me such a joy to see people enjoy themselves at this resort. From listening to others and spending time here, I'll definitely be stopping by again.
I was there for a business meeting and spent a night. It was a great place for a meeting the food was great and the service also. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds super clean
Great wedding venue and the service was exceptional!
Was there for a company holiday party...the banquet rooms were nicely decorated ...very clean...excellent food...
Had a work party here. Food was pretty good.
Wedding Reception, had one of the best meals ever.Facility and hotel are a great relaxing experience, a little on the pricy side but worth it.
This hotel was very nice and clean with so many amenities. To top off the visit I was able to eat a steak and eggs breakfast included in the price.
I was only at Eaglewood for a work dinner. The food was excellent, and the service was good as well.
Nice hotel... Way to get to... Nice views
Beautiful clean rooms with great amenities
Very helpful staff; great venue!
Place was very clean and staff was excellent. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had away from my own kitchen. They handled our sizable corporate event very well. Service was great, food was a grade above most other places we've been. I dont generally submit reviews but felt that Eaglewood deserves it. We will definitely return!
They have a great location, the environment is welcoming, & the staff is very hospitable. My company has their holiday party there every year because it's spectacular place.
Very nice big place. Looks very American, kind of the like the hotel in the shining.
Beautiful place... almost too nice couldn't get my family to leave! Very accommodating and friendly staff. A rare piece of quite and nature im one of the busiest city's in the world.
Great resort, timely room service. Bowling and swimming facility available. And good food
Beautiful resort, great food, friendly, attentive staff AND they have a bowling alley #nuffsaid
Great hotel and spa
Long walks to your room but when you do reach it, it's comfortable. Downstairs restaurant is pretty good. Try the bourbon that's actually again in the keg on the bar right there! But make sure they warm it up for you in the glass a little.
Staff was very friendly! My room had some issues but they were very quick to accommodate and fix any problems I ran into!
Burnham's is a good place to dine for family get togethers. The complementary glass of champagne during Thanksgiving was a nice touch also. Check it out!
The bed was fine, but the bathroom was obviously in need of a redo. Old tile with some areas of mold and mildew stains. The food was pricey, which is expected, but it wasn't very good. 18 dollars for the breakfast buffet that was pretty disappointing, not nearly as many options as you'd expect for a price that high.
Dope place to relax and get away from the city. I recommend this place to anyone looking to free there minds and relax.
This place was pretty nice. The environment was friendly and the decor was nice. The only thing was that the rooms had a few minor details that needed to be fixed: the ice bucket was broken, soap dispenser was not refilled, and sheets were not properly made. This might have been the maid we were assigned she was probably not so hood but the place is a great place I would not mind going to again.
Not bad. Very big building. Room was decent. Not a fan of how room service is set up.
Great food, amazing customer service, lovely surroundings, comfortable rooms
Good place to host a social event
Great view, excellent service, good food.
Came for a professional event. Nicer location for was better than expected service was adequate.

Stayed at the Eaglewood for my third professional event, it was great. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are ample and well-furnished. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone who is looking to host a work event or a personal event.
Not quite a "resort" in my opinion. Room was a good size but no fridge or microwave. The front desk wanted to charge us an extra $10 a day for one. No thank you. Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable...not good quality. Nice location...calm and serene. Sadly the front desk girl was rude and seemed as though she was doing me a favor by answering the phone. Attractive lobby with small bar and restaurant. Restaurant downstairs has tasty food at reasonable prices. The waitress today was very pleasant despite her very pregnant belly. Lol Had the chicken tortilla soup and a trio of sandwiches consisting of a burger..buffalo chicken and lobster roll. Very good. The spa is over priced and charges a 22% gratuity!! Cruise ships only charge 18%! As a hotel. ..it's great...as a resort it leaves wanting a bit more.
The resort was beautiful. The food in the resort was delicious as well. This resort is perfect for business or or personal events.
The overall experience was great.Modern amenities, professional staff and comfortable rooms.Thumbs up!!!
Overall definitely liked it. The food at the restaurant was outstanding! The service was friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was also very very good. They said the hotel was modeled after Frank Lloyd Wright designs and it shows period in the rooms however the beds were very hard and my room and another family that we were with had ant problems. The convention center there is also really a great place to go. Wish I would have had an opportunity to golf!
(Translated by Google) Very large and comfortable rooms. A perfect place for conferences or meetings / parties. The food in the restaurant / bar is tasty and has giant quantities. (Original) Habitaciones muy grandes y comodas. Un lugar perfecto para conferencias o reuniones/fiestas. La comida en el restaurante/bar es sabroso y tiene cantidades gigantes.
Went there for a summit. Pretty and comfy place. Impressive
The food. My goodness the food is so good. I was there for a professional event but the food was a stand out. The buffet, the snacks. The conference room was so cool too. Spacy and good. Which I had more time to enjoy the amenities
beautiful resort, the meeting room was comfortable and exceeded my expectations. the food was delicious as well.
Beautiful, rooms are tight for 4 people though & a lot of the rooms are far from the main entrance.
Great place for a wedding! Beautiful views and wonderful staff.
Front desk Manager and entire staff of Eaglewood Resort was splendidly first class of service. We enjoyed our stay and will return soon for family fun weekend! Laurence family.
I had an event there this week. The 5th one I have had there over the years. The folks at Eaglewood get it! The created excellent service experiences and own the outcomes they seem accountable for. A well run conference center!
Typical resort course but well maintained and good service.
Spacious and elegant, located on a quiet side road off the expressway in a residential area. Guests are welcomed by smiling and courteous staff. The grounds are beautiful
I attended the hotel as an overnight guest after staying for a wedding. The service from the Eaglewood staff was amazing. They can fulfill any requests that you have. It is a very relaxing hotel to stay at for recreation.
My wife and I just held our wedding reception there and everything was beautiful! The food was amazing, the hall was big enough to hold all of our guests and since the hotel was connected, everyone was able to stay with us and celebrate our marriage. The staff was wonderful, understanding and easy to work with. Thank you for making our day so memorable.
I was here to potentially reserve a room for my wedding reception. Pretty nice place, we will likely reserve it.
Above quality service and amenities compared to similar hotels.
Had the pleasure of staying here for a wedding. Beautiful scenery, big and modern rooms, and great food. We also took advantage of the spa (couples massage), pool, and hot tub. Finally, the staff in charge of the wedding was extremely courteous and professional. There were 5 other weddings going on the same night as the wedding we went to, but everything seemed to run smoothly from what we could tell.
Liked the stay
Ron Merriam J.
Great professional conference experience. Food has been incredible and the facilities very accommodating.
Played golf on their course, had a great time. The course was well maintained, with challenging bunkers.
Nice hotel. Main restaurant could of been a little more upscale. Sports bar was good and large. Big outdoor fire pit and bands all summer. Pool area average and had mini bowling area and free billiards in another bar area.
Great resort and great service!
I didn't actually stay here but checked it out as a possible venue for my wedding reception. The location is gorgeous and the views from the pavilion were incredible.
If you have the option, I wouldn't stay here. The night I checked in, I started putting my things away because I was going to be there for a week. When I started putting things away, I realized they DO NOT clean their rooms or if they do, it's minimal at best. The ice bucket hadn't been emptied so it was filled with water from the last guest. There apparently was a wedding within the past month because I found a candle left from the wedding. I found a bracket under the cushioned bench where there's an empty space to put shoes. They also don't replenish the towels or robes as well as they should if at all. The first day I had 4 towels. Today I was given 2. I've had a robe that was fluffy then not soft at all and now I don't have one at all. I called their gym to see what time they open and I was told 5am so I woke up and got ready at 6 to go. I get over there and IT IS NOT OPEN. There isn't another door to go through or another way to get in. I could have slept another 2 hours if I hadn't been lied to. There is another "gym" that is on their 3rd floor but it's basically a closet. The good gym is across the parking lot with the spa which lied about when it opens. The food isn't anything to write home about at the buffet they offer to their guests. The bar downstairs is the only reason I gave them a star. The staff in the bar are nice and their tacos are pretty good although they are tiny. Basically, avoid this place. It's nothing special and you'll be irritated that you paid as much as you will for not great service.
Very nice and clean rooms, courteous staff and convenient meeting spaces.
Had a girls weekend with my soon to be sister in law and everything was amazing. The spa was so relaxing the employees we very nice and helpful! I will definitely be going back!
Went to a wedding there and loved the salmon
We were there for a wedding and the out door wedding was beautiful. I gave it a 4 because there were no napkins in the bathroom to clean your hands.
What a pretty place to get married! As a wedding guest, I loved it. Good venue, good food, good service yes to everything.
Great place with good food and bar. Lost a star for not having fridges in rooms.
Be prepared to walk a mile from the front desk to your hotel room.
Very nice place... Food from the restaurant was delicious... Definitely recommend!!
I was at a wedding and an overnight guest. It was a nice facility. It was an outdoor wedding and it seems it could have been located in a better spot, although the view was good, there was some sort of industrial unit running very close to the service and it was loud.
Nice hotel, reasonable rates and spacious rooms
Great place to stay
Nice ambience for a work related conference.
Clean room, great food, great views, great bars. Overall a great place.
Staff was so helpful and friendly and the grounds are excellent. My favorite was the bar staff - Erick and Gerardo were so pleasant; it felt like being in your favorite local bar. We used the informal meeting room near the spa for a workshop and having natural light and more food/drinks than you could consume made us promise to do another workshop there.
Golf course was well maintained. The layout had interesting rolling terrain.
Our room was clean and decently sized. There were several outlets on each side of the bed as well as some on the desk. The hotel also provides a fantastic shuttle service where they will drive you to anywhere within three miles of the hotel. This was my second stay there, and I'd definitely stay there again if I have another event near there in the future.
Super clean and quiet. Feels like the resort should feel.
Extremely friendly & helpful staff; literally everyone I encountered went above & beyond.
Nice banquet facilities, good food and pleasant staff. Parking leaves something to be desired if you're not an overnight guest.
Unique room layouts. Fantastic service and a great place for events.
Ridiculously nice country club. Never any rush
This is a nice resort. Something's are a bit outdated and the food is okay. Overall it is not a bad place to stay.
The rooms was nice. Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast food was RATE A. The dinner food was a a RATE D. VERY CLEAN RESORT.
It was great, nice staff
Wonderful venue for a wedding. Great service to bus the elderly guests who couldn't walk the distances
Golfed here before. Course is usually in good condition. Fun round of golf. Went here for a wedding this weekend and it was great. Food, music, setup. Very well run by the resort.
Fun place for drinks and to listen to music outside. Great service, great people and a fabulous atmosphere.
The Resort is very nice. Love the live music on the outdoor patio. Our dinner was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, drinks were accurately priced. Great location for a wedding and weekend getaway.
Amazing view from our room! We had a fantastic breakfast buffet with 5 star entrees. I would most definitely come here again.
Great resort course. The planes fly over every two minutes to land at O'Hara but it's cool to watch.
Amazing place, excellent customer service
Had a great time the room was perfect very big, the beds were comfortable. The staff always had a smile on their face I would recommend this resort anytime.
The Eaglewood resort and spa was beyond AMAZING. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were very spacious. The staff was more than accommodating. It was a little off off The beaten path, but something as beautiful as this place needs to be hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Moon Suk K.
That was very comfortable ^_^ I can find very easy the place. Brunch is nice and very delicious. Every service is great ^_^
Meet family there, had a band playing. Great atmosphere and friendly sevice.
Very beautiful place
Great staff and good room. Spa and pool was slightly dated but good none the less
Went on a Friday evening the setting was very nice but the food was terrible a pizza raw and looked like it came out of a box, the recommended way sandwich there signature hand carved corned beef was the only had a slice of beef go for the music but eat somewhere else
A beautiful layout and relaxed environment
We had a great work party weekend here.
Very nice service and aesthetic, a fun place to host a gathering.
Over priced! No fridge or microwave in the room, it's an extra fee, no Continental breakfast, it's buffet and almost 20 dollars a person. And the lady making your omlett doesn't speak hardly any English.. I guess no more means one more scoop in Spanish. It does have 2 in house bars, but that's also insanely overpriced, one rum and coke will run you 14.75 for a double... Could be a very nice hotel if they would not try at every turn to break it off in your butt.
Great course nice greens
Nice resort. Golf playing focus and relaxation from busy life. Can go to downtown using train in 40 min. Large hotel with big lobby.
Although I've stayed at Eaglewood Resort several times, this visit was very disappointing. My family wanted to do something different for the 4th of July, so we googled hotel and events. When Eaglewood came up I stated I had been several times and it was a nice place to take the kids and spend the holiday. I told them about the pool, the bowling alley, the lounge, the fire pit, the on-site restaurants and the complimentary shuttle. I have utilized all of the above on stays before. We booked a two night stay, arrived on Monday afternoon and it's been downhill since. There are approximately 15 people in our group (about 7 children) and we have 5 rooms booked. 1st, my sister's husband is handicap and they requested a handicap accessible room but were given a regular room with no bars or no shower bench in the bathroom. 2nd, we decided to go down the road for dinner, request the complimentary shuttle and to our surprise it's not running today because there is no one to drive it. 3rd, we return from dinner and head to the bowling alley only to discover there is a $30.00 per hour, per lane charge. I have never paid to bowl on previous visits. They already charge a "resort" fee and bowling should be included in the additional fee. The kids want to go bowling so we head over to the bowling alley only to discover it's closing early (note: it didn't open till 5pm) because the hotel is only filled to 1/3 it's capacity and no employees are here to run it. So the kids go to the pool for and hour or so. The pool closes at 9:00 pm and I'm trying to get the kids out and clothes on since the temperature had dropped a little and you have to go outside and walk across the parking lot and we were rushed out by the employees at the pool. The sad thing is, online this resort had a big ad/promotion for the 4th of July weekend till Wednesday. We booked based on what was published on your website. If everything was closing early you should have said that. You should have stated no shuttle Monday and Tuesday because it's the holiday. Don't advertise something and because the hotel is not filled to capacity close early, cancel it or not deliver on what you promised. I raved about this resort to my family now everyone is looking at me with a side eye and ready to check out and go home. As my niece stated, we don't have to pay to sleep in someone else's bed. We booked this resort to all be together and have some fun away for a couple of days... Don't penalized paying guest. Hopefully today will be better! Finally, upon check out my credit card was charged again... $275.00 upon arrival and $244.00 at check out. I had to wait a week for the hold to drop off of my credit card. I'm just glad I didn't use my bank debit card. I would have been more upset if my cash was tied up like that...
Very nice resort with great amenities.
Venue awesome. Room for bride and groom was supposed to be non smoking, reeked of cigarettes
It was a very clean place and had lots to do. Would go again.
Room had a broken smoke alarm.
Beautiful facility. Love the outdoor area by bar with firepit
excellent visit! really enjoyed ourselves!!!
beautiful wedding venue
The spa was wonderful and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The live music was good too. The service and food quality for dinner was disappointing for the price we paid.
Extremely friendly staff!
golf course is ok. makes me feel good as holes are short. Greens suck
If you're looking for a place to just relax and take a break from big city life, then this would be your go-to place for sure. Also, if you're a golf lover, then you'll find your heaven here. Rooms are a little out dated for a 4-star resort (not to mention the price.) But the amenities here would make it up for that. I've never seen a better fitness center at a hotel before. I was told that the spa is way over priced but I'm sure it would be worth the service you'll get. The only thing that really turned me off was that the housekeeping staff is extremely under trained. No sense of "privacy tag" hanging outside the room. They would still knock on the door repeatedly and wake me up from the sweet sleep. Was really hard for me not to be rude to them. But I blame the training staff there, not them. Overall a pleasant experience therefore would definitely recommend.
Huge property. Large rooms with balconies that were clean but nothing to write home about. Nice looking golf course, although I didn't have the opportunity to play. The staff were great hosts for a wedding.
(Translated by Google) Great place for weddings. Beautiful landscape. Everything is well maintained. (Original) ???????? ????? ??? ?????????? ??????. ???????? ????????. ??? ???????.
Power went out, so i went golfing. Got back at 10pm and power still out. Didnt feel like moving all my stuff to a different room, so i just asked for a discount. Power was still out in tge morning. This was due to faulty hotel wiring not the utility company They gave me 5%!! Really? The clerk said i needed to talk to the manager if i wanted more. UPDATE. THEY GAVE ME ANOTHER $25. OFF. STILL PAID OVER $100 FOR A ROOM WITHOUT POWER CAN I CHANGE THIS TO ZERO STARS??
Great course for the price. Shorter course but it does have some elevation change to some holes.
I am a member here and most of the time it's private and relaxing
Distance from lobby to room is pretty long, bar downstairs
Stayed here for a wedding. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was nice, and breakfast was amazing! Professionally staffed omelet bar!
Great hotel with friendly staff. They took care of me when I needed them most. Will be back
We love staying tnere
Beds are comfortable, room was clean, hotel is very awkward to navigate. You have to snake your way around to get to your room. The air conditioning doesn't work that we'll. I sweat all night on both nights we stayed here. The rates quoted don't include a mandatory fee for internet and bottled water in your room. I like to have real rates quoted when booking a room.
Beautiful day and beautiful club
The staff and food sampling was wonderful
The rooms are small but clean. The beds are uncomfortable and seem old, perhaps need an upgrade. Lots of options like swimming, billiards and bowling for the kids.
Beautiful architecture, great staff and fun amenities!
Overall really nice place with helpful staff just wish there was more parking available
Great service staff! Golf course was in impeccable shape!!!
Employees are very nice. The resort is beautiful and theres so much to do
Beautiful venue and great amenities for a conference I recently attended Outstanding suite and spouse enjoyed spa treatment. Highly recommended.
Beautiful setting, romantic. Friendly staff.
We were simply visiting the venue as a possible option for our wedding. We were nosy and slightly opened a door to see what the ballroom looked like while workers were taking the room apart. I forget his title, but Ricky noticed us and came out to speak to us. He was amazing and showed us the grounds, the different event areas, and even took us to another floor to give us literature. This was on a Sunday so very few people were working. I'm not sure if he is compensated by people choosing the venue, but he did a great job selling the venue to us. We're aren't sure yet if it is the one for us, but I very much enjoyed the service and ambiance at this venue. Thanks Ricky!
Total disappointment! This reservation was NOT worth my money. First of all, the head board to the bed was extremely dirty...finger prints, dust, smudges, and sticky areas, very disgusting. Second, what really threw me off was when I went to open a water bottle that was behind with TV, in front of the ice bucket, both of the waters in room were OPEN! I could not believe this. There were also brown-red stains on the bath room door. A week prior to check in, I called the hotel and asked if my room will have a balcony and they said "yes", I arrive and there is no balcony.... I called the front desk and I was told that since I booked though Expedia that there is nothing they can do!! The pool is located across from the hotel its self, and it was also dirty. The tile all around the hot tub seemed like it was not been clean lately, and there were black/dirt bubbles that developed once we turned the hot tub on. We will never again will I return or recommend this "resort" to someone. We checked out early.
Was at a wedding. Venue was great but food was subpar.
Everything was clean and they had an organized staff!
Frank and Dave on Friday nights in the summer is an absolutely wonderful thing. The outdoor setting is nice and beer prices aren't bad.
We had fun
A GREAT place for my son and I to CELEBRATE our BIRTHDAYS ?
Food and service awesome
Nice place for an event.
The amenities were alright, but nothing spectacular.
Great food and bar and meeting rooms
The room overlooked the beautiful golf course they have and had a balcony to relax on. The halls were a bit strange with low ceilings.
I was here for a wedding and also stayed overnight. It's a great venue for weddings, the ballroom is very nice with high celings, great decor, and gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that face the well landscaped golf course. The food was excellent, the hors d'oeuvres were great, mini beef Wellington, melon and prosciutto. The salad was your above average Caesar, but served in a bowl made of shredded parmesan cheese, delicious. Entre was a chicken based dish with mashed potatoes, both excellent, although I heard the steak option was mediocre. The ice cream was an excellent vanilla bean. Service was great, formal and professional but not boring at all. I'm used to the staff being hurried all the time and dismissive, not the case at all. And the wedding had almost 300 people I think. Great all around here minus the inconsistency with beef dishes. The only thing that dropped my rating to 4 stars was the room situation. The rooms are disconnected from the hotel and are about a 5 minute walk from the lobby. The layout is very confusing and the ceilings are low. Finding your way to your room is a challenge. Additionally, the lobby is on the 4th floor? Again, confusing. The room was pretty nice, nothing wowed me but it wasn't lacking by any means. Everything seemed clean and we'll decorated. Room as above average in size but an odd shape, triangular with the point being the entrance. The bathroom had the shower in the water closet and no door to the sink. I'd have preferred a separate water closet but space did not allow. Another complaint, the toilet seat was very wobbly and felt cheap and plastic, worse than those of public restrooms. All in all, a great place for weddings and other large events. The rooms get the job done but are nothing spectacular. Great food and service. Would recommend.
Attended a wedding and it was beautiful. The rooms was spacious and nice. The layout of the hotel is pretty confusing
Nice facilities, service was slow
Good food and drinks
Was here for a wedding. Service was great and had a good time.
Band was incredible, as were the food, staff, and venue. Great place!
Nice bar with a firepit and nice view of the course.
It was like a retirement center service was horrible
The staff were professional and the steak was great.
Beautiful place to stay. Next time I'll try the golf course!
Beautiful resort, giant rooms. Wish there was a fridge I'm the room and bathroom was small, but overall great place.
Stayed here for a wedding. The rooms were above average. Disappointed that they didn't have a very robust dine in menu. Only a couple prepackaged items from "The Market". That being said they had a great breakfast buffet. Other odd thing was we received a knock on our door at 8:30 am from a maid asking when we were checking out. Didn't appreciate that much.
Nice place. Moving an outside wedding indoors during a storm and only suffering a 30min delay...good on the them
Nice cozy place. The room we stayed in was a bit dated. The view was nice. The bar and fire pit are great. The spa completely screwed up my wife's reservations which was supposed to be an anniversary gift. The spa staff did an excellent job of recovering from the blunder and they went out of their way to accommodate us.
We had our daughter's wedding here. We were very happy that we selected this resort for my daughter special occassion. We had extrealy great experience. Manager Robb was very friendly and very cooperative. All our guest love the stay here. Whole staff crew was very friendly and helpful. I will love to go there again and again. ???
Very comfortable room, with great news, and nice view of golf course. The only negative was the very long walk from the lobby to our room.
Great service, beautiful location.
Went for a wedding and it was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Very nice outdoor seating area with a fireplace. Brunch was very good.
I want there for the golf. Very nicely course and the service was excellent.
Lisa Greskoviak M.
I attend only the spa which is clean, calming, serene, and very professional. The staff is welcoming and each are very good at what they do.
Mary A. F.
The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the fitness center .
Very clean and accessible location. Staff was very nice and responsive.
Elegant. Great food and service.
Great resort for professional meetings. The view from my room over looks the beautiful grounds of the golf course.
Very attentive staff. Amazing view and atmosphere
Lovely setting for a conference
Rooms great, accommodations great, on site services great. Would stay again.
Attended a corporate function here. Nice place, good staff, a little dated.
Put a lot of money into it. Looks nice
Nice place just outside the city.
Beautiful resort with nice rooms and amenities.
Having our wedding here in August and we love it!
Gorgeous resort, great rooms, excellent service!
Great spa service. Very professional and relaxing.
Conference in the same building I stayed at. Could go to my room between sessions.
Great wedding !
Really enjoyed their breakfast.
Rooms, Food, Place - quite good.
Geart staff! Food was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable!!!
Distance between the front desk and some of the rooms is extensive. Room service is awful and only bring gross pre-med sandwiches.
Top notch conference facility!
Staff was very accomadating and gives a feeling of comfort
Had a great stay for a wedding everything was great, but the wifi wasn't very good.
Peter Marino F.
Awesome place with delightful staff. Golf course, bowling, indoor pool and full gym! Whats not to like! Will definitely come back when in Chicago area.
Great location with Golf course and really nice rooms/lounge. Also has a good pool house w hot tub sauna and bowling alley/bar area. A+++
The food at the restaurant was excellent!!!!!
Beautiful hotel. It's a little strange that you have to go outside to get to the pool (a bummer in the rain).
Excellent maintenance staff (if you've got a problem with your room, ask for Chris--he's awesome) and the night manager, Dan, seems like a decent chap.
I really enjoyed being here for a conference, but noticed that they threw out a lot of good food, and I just hate to see us as a species be so wasteful, while others are struggling to survive. Would like to see a change in our ways. :/
Hallways to rooms are a little odd; but other than that I have no complaints! Love the room : )
Beautiful golf course, good food, and has a indoor pool and bowling alley.
I really enjoyed the hotel However the walk to the room was extremely long and confusing it took us quite a while to find the North Tower a map would have been nice because it was quite the walk I evenwasn't able to find the locker rooms to enter into the pool because there was no signs lots of walking will be involved in this trip which is not a big deal for us but maybe a big deal for others the pool was amazing and was definitely top-of-the-line the spa was great too there is a sauna and a steam room which I enjoyed as well our room is clean the view from our balcony was not very great at all but I'm sure they do have some good views at the golf course which I would request if we do stay a next time the breakfast was good but it was not included and it cost $40 for two people to eat where we could have had the same meal for $15 at a similar Diner without the extra fancy setting I really did like the coffee shop and snack shop for a late night snacks it was OK with the prices but definitely more expensive easy check-in and check-out very clean Hotel no maintenance issues however my husband was up quite a bit during the night because someone was pounding in the Next Room I take it a toilet broke or something we would probably stay again if we were looking to do another overnight locally but would hope we could negotiate a better rate
Beautiful location and impressive building. Large and clean rooms, perfect for the conference we we're attending. Helpful and polite staff, would love to attend another conference at this location.
This place is good with advertisement however it's really just overpriced mediocre services. Nothing about this place stands out, it's just a lot of mediocre stuff put together. That said, the staff are very friendly.
Attended for a work conference, great time.
The ambience and services were great, though the prices are a tad on the higher side.
The food was plain during lunch. The banquet hall was freezing.
Beautiful resort. 5 star staff

Golf course is so crowded that it's very dangerous.
Great service but the room was somewhat small and basic. Lacked a fridge or microwave, but the view from the room was great.
We went to see the resort for a venue for our wedding. It's a beautiful place with wonderful staff.
Golf was pretty good, course is short.
Very professional wait staff.
Disappointing. My new husband and I spent our short honeymoon here and I have to say that overall we were pretty underwhelmed. More than anything, we were disappointed with our room. We had upgraded to a junior suite. We ended up with a dark, outdated, ground floor room with a weird layout and a view of the parking lot. Some upgrade. Also there was no refrigerator in the room - though the bellman was great - he quickly arranged to have a refrigerator brought to us before we'd even settled. But what kind of suite doesn't have a fridge? The screen door to the patio didn't work properly, the patio roof was peeling, the coffee table was very rickety. Housekeeping staff were friendly, but there's no way they vacuumed. The restaurants were both good - though service at breakfast was comically slow and the breakfast buffet was being dismantled by 9am. The one bright shining star of our short visit was the spa. We both had the 90 minute "Eaglewood Indulgence" massage and it was one of the best massages I've had. The only complaint I have about the spa is that it's in a completely different building a solid 200 feet away from the hotel itself. Fine in the summer, but this is Chicago. Overall, we might come back to the spa, but we won't stay at this hotel again or recommend it to friends.
Nice breakfast. The guy doing the omlettes rules.
Wonderful experience for a one-night stay cation for me and my wife. The one thing I noticed is that they are so good at not sweating the little things. They took care of every need we had with no hesitation. The hotel and restaurant/lobby are were connected, but you do have to walk outside to get to the pool, which was a little annoying. Had a great Swedish massage, and overall we would recommend it to anyone.
Lovely place and beautiful setting, so close to the city. One drawback is that the rooms are a great distance from the front desk, with long hallways and steep inclines.
Nice, quiet, relaxing time
It looked like a nice older hotel. Our room was very specious and the bed was comfy. The bathroom looked a little dirty and only had 2 towels.
The room was nice but the bathroom was dirty there was hair left in the bath tub and they over drew my account and told me to wait till Monday to have it addressed. Banquet hall was nice but staff was rude.
We were in one of the event rooms. The venue is very nice, modern, and clean. There is plenty of parking. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious with a performance! I would definitely recommend this venue for a social or professional gathering. Only complaint is you have to go outdoors to get to the pool and bowling alley
Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Only gripe is that the pool and bowling alley is far away from the actual hotel.
Adam J L.
Well it's a nice place but they nickel and dime you. Added an few fees randomly. Place is a little musty. Nice staff though.
Fun golf course. On the shorter side but still has a bit of everything.
A dance competition I was part of was held there. Nice place, very clean, friendly staff, and a little market for grab and go food and coffee.
Enjoyed the Chicagoland Spring Fling
Great meeting space. Awesome food
Nice rooms, but wasn't as clean as I thought it should be.
Very polite staff very beautiful place, cozy and warm in the winter.
The location is peaceful and the staff is responsive.
Attended a corporate event in the Red Oak ballroom. Amazing catering and a fantastic atmosphere. Any one I spoke to from the resort was helpful, kind and courteous.
Rooms are not what they look like on Web site and no place to keep things cold. Very out dated and to much money for the hotel
Food was delicious and service also was pretty good.
Attended for a work event. Good enviornment, conference room was tidy and had comfortable chairs.

Amazing!! Absolutely beautiful place, great staff and so so cozy! I felt right at home here.

A beautiful and elegant place to hose your work gala. It was a magical night.
A Relaxing and Peaceful Getaway.
Easy to find, lots of parking and good decor
Attended a business meeting with catered lunch and dinner. The food was very good and the staff was extremely courteous. The facility is beautifully decorated in a modern Craftsman style.
Great, very nice venue
The resort staff were very helpful during our entire event. The food was also quite delicious.
I was here for a work meeting, and have been at multiple functions at this resort. Everything was great. We had an assortment of breakfast snack/foods, beverages all day, and staff would clear old cups/cans throughout the day. The only knock I had was their chili they served at lunch. They served a very very spicy chili, which I enjoyed, but many others were surprised by. Otherwise, Eaglewood has always been a great resort for our work functions.
So much fun and great food
Relaxing stay and nice party facility.
Nice place unless u no about it u don't understand
Rooms are nice, but pool is not attached to the hotel.
Pool and Spa Staff were very attentive.
We had a nice stay.
Resort was great. Service was a little slow and the facility shut down too early (9:00pm) in my opinion
it was good

This place is great! We've golfed here numerous times, spent the night, and even had our wedding here. Would recommend for all the above.
I was only there for a work retreat that lasted two days, but despite drinking plenty of water the dry air was a bit much. My nose even bled at one point. The main ballroom we were in was either too cold or too hot at any given time. The bed was too firm and despite having six pillows there wasn't a variety of them (e.g. down, cotton), they too were all too firm, so I didn't sleep well. The balcony view was at least nice and everything was clean. The downstairs bar area was perfect for drinks, karaoke and dinner with co-workers. The staff and most of the food were nice as well.
The rooms were fantastic and the food was absolutely wonderful - beyond words. The only downside is the spa, weight room, and bowling alley are not attached to the resort. You have to walk a short distance outside to get to them. I would definitely stay here again and again.
Beautiful place. The gold course looked nice, bars were great, lunch and dinners served were amazing. The price was good too
BEST PLACE FOR WORK EVENTS
The staff is nice and the hotel is beautiful.

Beautiful venue for a wedding! Food could have been better but for banquet food it was decent, staff was excellent and attentive
The food good, the decor was nice.
Outrageously affordable. Good experience.
Played golf, it was nice.
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful place. Perfect for business meetings. Good quality food. (Original) Très belle endroit. Parfait pour des réunions d'affaires. Nourriture de bonne qualité.
Great room and great amenities with indoor pool, spa, billiards and bowling. Definitely will be back.
Great rooms. Great food. Great meeting spaces with lots of breakout rooms. Heard nothing but 80s music in their lobby and bathroom music which was kind of hilarious.
The resort is very nice. Good staff, food, and event facilities.
There were a lot of golfers and it made the play very slow. Overall the course is really nice and I would recommend going on non-peak hours.
Beautiful place, could have used better direct to our wedding as there were three going on at the same time
Attended a wedding here and the resort was great. My complaints were that golfers interrupted our pictures and the bathrooms in the room were very small.
Great area, nice rooms. Close to lake st. Restaurants theaters great food
Attended a wedding. Service and grounds were wonderful.
Beautiful venue for weddings.
Not very handicap accessible. Everything is very far apart. From event space to the bathroom was a very long ride in my wheel chair. Food was fantastic.
Great rate and a beautiful get-away! I highly suggest the exquisite breakfast, and if you don't want that, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
(Translated by Google) Very nice and nice ... your employees are very friendly ..... (Original) Muy lindo y agradable...sus empleados muy amables.....
Nice. Clean. Food service(restaurant and breakfast) were average at best.
Nice place to stay. Good conferencing facilities.
Genuine staff. Mixed bag in terms of cleanliness of rooms. Good effort to have labeled food items for breaks and buffets
Played golf there, it was a rainy day but still had a blast!
I accesses the golf course. It's a shorter course, but surely has its shining moments.
I am staying at Eagle Wood Golf Course for a weeding and the place is disgusting. I am suppose to have had this suite shown in a picture and the room is not the picture. "His answer at the front desk is they are all different. Oh really, why did he not tell me before arrival. We are sleeping in a Queen size bed versus a King we were told. I called the front desk and all the gentleman wanted to do is argue with me. Said "Manager is busy" Oh bythe way the carpeting is dirty filthy. Went to spa and I must tell you all employees were lovely but the accomadations are probably from the 50"s. The showers are litle squares with old green title with a wood bench you pull down from the wall? How disgusting. and unsantatizing, the shampoo dried your hair up, no brushes, hairb;lowers and the nozzle was for 5'0 height. One of the employees said they just put 70 million into this resort, I would like to know where. I will never return to this resort?? I don't even know how they got a resort rating.
It was a pleasant stay. We were at Eaglewood for 2 days and one night. All of the employees were very hospitable. The golf course looked beautiful but we were there for the spa. We ate off property for lunch and had dinner onsite. There seems to be one restaurant for dinner and its more like a sports bar with loud music. I would recommend eating dinner off property. We bowled that evening and Erick and Bobby were very attentive and made the atmosphere feel like home. They do a great job providing hospitality to guests - thank you for the great service and conversation! The spa was nice. The rates on packages were decent and Stanley, Karen, and Jeanette provided great service. We even had to leave earlier than planned- family illness and we were going to be there for a second night but had to go. The front desk personnel were so gracious not to charge for a second night. Overall great service and a good location to escape from the kids for some couple time.
Very nice accommodations for a conference
Stayed overnight, room was clean.
1. Eat here is you enjoy waiting 45min for you lunch 2. Eat here if you enjoy eating in dinner the dark despite their adds stating you will eat by fireside. We asked repeatedly for them to have a fire and they said no. They don't turn it on until the band starts at 8pm 3. Eat here if you don't need your food fully cooked 4. Enjoy the spa if you like having to share a seat bc the tranquility room is packed. 5. Enjoy the spa if you don't need pressure in your massage...they will tell you they cannot adjust it 6. Enjoy the spa if you enjoy the worst massage ever 7. Rest in your room if you don't need a thermostat that works. Sweating when it's set to 61 degrees at 3am. 8. Rest here if you don't need the front desk to know what they are doing and will over charge you and claim innocence. They will sell you coupons and then have no clue how to redeem them. 9. Hang out here if you enjoy loud classic rock with your patio steak dinner. 10. Eat here if you enjoy having to go get your own drinks when the server forgets. 11. Eat here if you enjoy being attacked by insects when they forget to clear the patio tables next to you ... for over an hour 12. Eat here if you enjoy having your bday cake rushed to your table by an awkward server. Worst birthday weekend ever.
Beautiful golf course
Played the front 9 of the golf course and thought the course was well maintained, challenge and fun. It was a great venue for a work and networking event. The outside deck was nice and the food was tasty. I would go back and recommend Eaglewood.
The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was great and the cleanliness of the room is excellent as well.
Nice to stay couple days
Serviced the resort
Celebrated a birthday in the courtyard with the fire pits and a live band. Was very nicely decorated.
The staff was amazing. The spa was glorious. My room was perfect. My experience there was great.
Service for our party was awful. We had to track down the server all night long. Rude wedding guests crashed our party.
Staff was very friendy. Room was nice and clean, hotel was a little tough to navigate, but signs and maps are helpfully mounted on walls. The grounds outside are beautiful, but u was unable to visit them.
It was a great getaway! Lovey rooms and grounds. The wedding we went to was amazing. Will definitely be back for a get away!
Great venue. Easy to navigate.
Played golf at the on-site course. Course was in good shape. Fun and reasonably priced.
Went for a round of golf. The course was in great shape even considering the rain. It was very wet but still playabe. Stafg was friendly and helpful. Will play again
I was there making a delivery. However the experience was good and the grounds looked welcoming.
Went there for a golf outing. The course and the grounds seemed week kept. Very friendly staff.
service was nice
It was ok

It was outstanding!
Nice rooms, neat golf view, nice pool room with sauna and steam room!

I played golf. Beautiful course .......
A nice place, with nice rooms and good service. Nothing to complain about. I liked it! ????
There were multiple weddings each day I was there..... that should tell it all! They even had night golf! Whaaaaaa....
it is dope
It's a great place with live music on the weekends
Mark Schulte, J.
The golf course was crowded but it was in good shape and the staff was friendly.
They have lots of different size meeting rooms to suit your needs for various groups and purposes. For all-day private events, comprehensive snack food and drinks are available. The room views out over the golf course are pretty spectacular. A few options for dining, all excellent. Would recommend!
Nice place, weird layout. Pool and spa are across the parking lot. Slightly dated in some areas of the hotel. Overall very nice.
Could have better food
It was excellent. Great service.
Spent day at spa as a birthday gift for my wife. It was a very relaxing experience and all staff we interacted with were very kind and accommodating to our requests. The pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna are all located next to the spa, so while my wife was getting a pedicure, I went for a swim.
Golf and bar are good
Stayed overnight for a wedding and the room was very nice. Comfortable beds and very big too! The resort was beautiful.
Clean rooms and a fantastic lobby.
Good location, view from the back patio overlooking the golf course was nice. Food was better than expected. Conference room space was a little tight.
Very nice stay
Went for round of golf
Was catching pokémon.
Really nice resort. Attended a birthday party in the bowling/swimming pool area. Food was good and very friendly staff
Service at the restaurants was a little slow. Otherwise, resort was great. Tons to do.
Great deal for golf on Golfnow
I liked it
Nice place. Bowling alley is a plus.
Great golf pro
Venue is nice visually but the rooms are very far away from the main lobby area and event areas. Wait staff was not very good for both wedding events we had there. They didn't heat up food properly and then proceeded to come to tables and clean things off before people were done eating.

So far, it's a nice place to stay and have a conference. Good food and quieter location, other than the overhead airplane traffic to airports
The bedroom was hot, the air conditioning was broken, they had to move us to another room (when we had already moved everything out of the suitcases), the curtains smell like dust big time, there were two bottles of water in the bedroom OPEN, both of them open, and probably filled with tap water, when they changed us to a different room, there were another two bottles of water, and they were open too, so it was not casual or a mistake, it its, obviously their "modus operandi". Some pillow cases had finger marks of dirt.... the toilet seat was so low that I almost fell down trying to sit. The bathtub was pretty small, and it was a little bit dirty and worn. We wanted to put some juices in the "little fridge"or "mini bar" and...oh surprise! there was none! so we asked at the receptionist and they told us that they will bring one to our bedroom... ok, waiting again, finally, when they brought one and connected it... it didn't work. We didn't bother to say anything anymore, it was all too much. (We already had to ask for some clean pillow cases...) Don't look at the balconies, they are dirty and scary...seriously, it was very very difficult to believe that I was staying in a 4 stars Hotel. I will not come back.
Was there golfing and was fun.
Eh, not close enough to much neat things
Great staff and amenities!
Wonderful hotel and a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception
I haven't been to the resort since it was the old Nordic Hills Resort a decade or more ago. They've completely rebuilt it, except for the tower, and the facilities are terrific across-the-board.
The room was clean and beautiful. We were there for a wedding and it was a great place to stay.
Service and dinner was good. Rooms spacious
Nice room, great spaces for events
Great experience and staff was awesome. Stayed overnight for a wedding and had an excellent time.
Attentive and friendly staff, great social areas
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Room and spa were perfect. Pool was a little crowded, but the weather was beautiful so it was to be expected.
It was amazing.
The resort itself is beautiful. The accommodations themselves are not great. The room itself is nice, but there wasn't even a fridge in it.
Large property tucked away behind a small residential area, with laid back cabin atmosphere.
Clean rooms, nice views, nice hotel
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, & the bar was warming. I may book a night to see what the spa is all about.
Wedding was great
Was there for evening drinks and dinner. The food was great! We were in the pavilion which was really pretty!
Stayed here for a Bachelorette Party weekend. Food is expensive onsite. Check in and having adjoining rooms was easy. Spa does not give discounts for groups.
My wife and I had our wedding here and everything was fantastic! Love this place. My best friend is having his wedding here.
Wish the staff would reality until everyone was done before clearing tables, it is annoying to have to defend my utensils and eager from staff on a hurry
Excellent rooms and professional service
Beautiful golf course. Nice rooms
Very nice resort, staff was very helpful and friendly.
The staff was wonderful, buy the room was pretty small for how much we paid, and we had a group rate discount for a wedding we attended. I would stay there again if I could afford it.
Great bar and nice bartender. We ordered one of the beef flatbreads which was amazing! We also forgot something at the bar and they set it aside for us at the front desk! Great experience!
I attwnded a formal event followed by dancing. Fine location. The staff was fun and helpful. The food was surprisingly good. I got to try both the chicken and the vegetarian option. I'd definitely recommend it. Drinks may have been a little overpriced but they usually are at banquet halls. The DJ was great but I don't think he was provided by the hall. His company was called Ambassador DJs. He was probably the best part of the evening.
Loved the golf course
Great rooms and food
The resort was very nice. All of the workers were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The resort is also close to Woodfield Mall. It is definitely a place I would stay again and bring the kids.
Hotel rooms are excellent and all of the common areas are very well done both from an architecture standpoint and a decorating standpoint. The only weakness is the golf course. Not sure if they bill it as an "executive" course, but it is very short and the pace of play on the weekends is very slow (our round took almost six hours, at least two of which were spent at tee boxes waiting for the grounds in front of us). Great place to stay or have an event, but if you want to golf, go to one of the many better, comparably priced courses in the area.
Dinner and dessert was excellent
Great service. Room was very nice and clean. Highly recommend.
Very clean, good service, just a bit pricey.
Food is great. Staff is awesome. Great place to have a work conference.
Lovely place to rest while in Chicago. Freeway and airport nearby. Room was clean updated and peaceful. Wifi was free and worked flawlessly.
Tim And Jon S.
I consistently enjoy my experiences at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa. The staff is very friendly, particularly Eddie at the front desk.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the food was great. Would recommend, look at Groupon for great deals.
Visited Englewood for a work seminar. The staff and room accommodations were outstanding.
Nice hotel... Pool is not in main building but clean elegant rooms... Comfy beds.
The room and staff were great. The big downside is the pool. It isn't located in the building. You have to walk outside through the snow to the back of the parking lot. In the middle of summer that might not be bad but it is when it's only 20 outside. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for that.
The Vacation D.
Just spent a 3 day weekend for a couple's retreat. The resort was amazing, the food was great and the staff was outstanding for any need that arose. Eddie and Scott provided outstanding customer service the entire stay! The resort was able to handle 450 people smoothly and easily! Great job to all!
Wife was staying there for a meeting and brought the kids up to use the pool. The rooms were nice and the pool was large and heated (lightly)
Stayed at Eaglewood a few times and it seems to be deteriorating - during our last stay we had to call Housekeeping within first few hours because: 1) Room was missing a bath robe 2) Toilet was leaking and flooding the floor in the bathroom 3) Heater was broken and the temperature wouldn't go above 68F 4) Room cleanliness was questionable - dust on the surfaces, stains on counters All these were fixed relatively quickly but what it shows is that there's very little to none room quality control. Eaglewood used to be a reasonable weekend destination for us but after this stay I don't think we'll be coming back
Very nice hotel, even if its spread out
Great location, friendly staff and a great place to have meetings.
Great staff. Wonderful wedding venue.
The staff is the absolute BEST! I would very highly recommend a stay or event at Eaglewood!
Was there for a work conference. Rooms were clean . Food on-site is ok.
Stayed here for a friend's wedding. The catering was great, the staff was friendly, and the hotel room was clean. Definitely would recommend for hosting an event.
Very nice, very comfortable.
Recently, my husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Eaglewood. It was a wonderful experience that we will cherish forever! Our ceremony was on the green outside, cocktail hour on the Wisteria Terrace, and reception in the Pavilion. Michelle Mazza, the wedding coordinator there who worked with us, was positively incredible! From assisting us with room accommodations for our large number of out-of-town guests to making us feel pampered while we got ready the day of - we loved it all! Everyone says to expect hiccups and issues on the day of your wedding - I experienced little to no mishaps due to the attention and care of Michelle and rest of the resort. I recommend Eaglewood highly to anyone!!!
Played 18 holes late morning on a Saturday...round took over 5 hours. The Rangers were out but could only say it was crowded and every hole was backed up. They should've been telling groups to play from closer tees, or letting groups play through. The course is nice, shorter but lots of hills. The rate of play and customer service was quite poor.
Very nice ......went to the new year party and had a good time.
Really friendly staff. Hotel itself is bit dated.
My wife and spent a one night stay-cation at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa and had a wonderful time. We booked one of their promotions: the bubbles and berries package. It included a one night stay, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, breakfast for 2 in the morning, and late check-out. We got there early on Saturday and the staff was able to get us into our room, even though it was before 3pm. The room was nicely appointed and we had our own private balcony. The view of the course is worth the extra $. The pool / spa building is great and they have a nice sun deck attached. The food at the Prairie River was great and the breakfast buffet was absolutely fine. The strawberries and champagne were excellent (full bottle of champagne and a huge plate of treats)! Looking forward to staying here again, and would definitely recommend. The package was a great deal!!
I never write a review "ever". I don't know anyone that works there. My husband and I booked two rooms one for us and one for my father-in-law who is 83 and not in good health. I called ahead of time and asked to have our rooms as close together as possible. They were extremely accommodating moving things around and making sure we were on the first floor right next to each other. They also accommodated us with a wheelchair and let us keep it in the room overnight. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. We had a late dinner in one of the restaurants and it was delicious and the service was the best. We then sat out by the fire pit and had an after dinner drink. It was so relaxing and beautiful. I cannot speak about the pool because we did not use it but everything else was really nice. We would definitely stay there again.
Came for New Year's Eve. Had an absolutely fantastic time! Made reservations for the New Years Eve party before I had read the reviews here, I only saw the reviews after I looked for directions and they made me begin to rethink my decision. I am so glad I was locked into my reservation. As soon as we arrived there was at least three people, ready and willing, to help us with our bags. They were not fake or pushy but very genuine. Checking into the hotel was surprisingly fast and easy. At check in all stations were manned and I could see others moving quickly as well. We liked the room immediately. It had a wonderful view of the golf course, it was clean, and I must say it was a nice touch that they had music playing, on the I pod alarm when we arrived. On the downside there is no fridge or microwave in room. There is a coffee machine which contradicts earlier reviews. Also have a blow dryer, iron and safe. The Wi Fi is very good and the business desk has a nice set up. Sure I'm forgetting something but you have a good idea of the room. One thing I almost forgot. The swimming pool is in another building across the parking lot. Bowling also. Didn't bother us because we were there for the party. Overall the hotel is impressive. I was told they just did a complete renovation about 6 months ago. If so it shows. The place has class! We plan to come here again for New Years and other dates in the year.
Got a handicap room not to bad, had to watch Bears game in room cause bar with big screen was cold, should have indoor fire place or turn up heat wife wouldn't buy drinks to cold,I never get cold .thought I was outside playing golf needEd hat coat and gloves very uncomfortable unless you are alcoholic you can't enjoy yourself.
Awsome i loved the hot the balcony and the pool awsome the bed good tvs good but i had the rooftop suit
Bruce Lee Y.
Play 18 holes. Small and tight course. It's OK course. Pay $56.00 for it. 16 holes green needs to be fixed, old and unmaintained. Wish the course could be better than advertised.
Troy K. D.
The fact that I'm posting a review is a bad thing. If you don't golf, there is no difference between this hotel and any other hotel within a mile of your home! Let's start with check-in; 3pm...pretty standard. However, we checked in, navigated the confusing hallways to our room (musty, as has been described in other reviews), went down to get something to eat (decent food, good value for bbq buffet), and then the fun begins! Kids want to go bowling....nope! That closes at 5pm!!!! Maybe they should've mentioned that at check-in...ya think?!? How about the game room? Nope...closed too! Let's go rent a movie in the room...nope! Can't do that! Well, we can always go swimming...better go early...closes at 9pm!! And, you better hope it's warm out as you'll have to leave the building and walk across the parking lot to get there! I need a workout, I'll go to the "Fitness Center". That'd be an old gift shop with a few dumbells, 2 treadmills and a flat screen, not unlike my basement "fitness center". Ok, I'll just grab a beer from the fridge in my junior suite...wait, there is none! Really?? I have to request one?? Days Inn gives you one! No worries I'll just go get some ice for the cooler and all will be golden. Nope...Out of Order!!! Are you kidding me!?! 10yo wants to take a bath in the shallow standard tub, too bad the water drains out! Tomorrow's a new day! Wake up early, sneak out to get a pot of coffee for da wife and I. "We can't do that, Sir. You have to order Room Service." Go back to room, press Room Service button....surprise, surprise...doesn't work! Finally get the small pot of coffee (waking everybody up) and there's a $2 "special delivery charge". Bowling Alley (still not sure there is one) opens at 11am. Guess what time checkout is??? Never again! Did I mention this cost over $200?!?!?!
I loved it so much i will go back anytime
Wonderful place, over priced.
I went here for an overnight business conference. Although my company paid for the room, it was still bad enough that I had to review. First, the place smells musty and has humidity in the entire place as if the AC is not top quality (especially in the rooms). Second, as much as we were spending on the food and stay, my food order was NEVER correct, most the waitstaff did not speak English as a first language so they could not understand me to correct the mistake. Also, the food preparation took forever. We had a much condensed menu to chose from (3 items) and even though they knew we were coming (only about 20 of us total), we waited 2 hours for the full meal! On a business trip, time is of the essence, so this was very annoying! The bowling alley was fun with friends but expensive too. My 1 drink (with less than an ounce of alcohol in it- I watched him pour it) was $8! I could have bought that whole bottle for $8! While the rooms were clean, the beds were very hard and the TV only had about 5 channels. 2 of them being ESPN and ESPN 2- not my cup of tea, ladies! On the good side, the staff was always nice..even the ones who did not speak English and who clearly made me very frustrated kept their calm and remained pleasant. I'm glad I got to experience this place because I will not go there again unless someone else is paying for it!
