Priced awfully high, will stay elsewhere next time.

Hotel is not a 4 star resort. I've stayed in Sedona several times at different resorts, this I say was the worst. The location is not good, unless you want to go grocery shopping The receptionist was friendly though.

Computer was being serviced and could not get room charges on check out. Our first floor room had a communal grass patio with dog stations.

WOW this place was amazing! Walt at the front desk was very inviting and made us feel at home right away. Debbie and Robin at the spa were wonderful. Sam and Sammy at the restaurant we’re a dynamic duo. Topped off with Tai Chi in the morning w Alistair made this mother/son trip a wonderful bonding experience. Look forward to coming back! :)

I got this location for my wifes birthday. The location is decent (if you want to be right in town). However i paid extra for a “spa room” which showed a photo of a big tub in the room. I assumed it was a whirlpool tub....it is not.... just a basic tub big enough for 1 person. The “spa room” aspect is simply that you’re in the building where their overpriced spa is located. The tub faucet leaked all over the floor, the rooms windows faced a grocery store and were held open by a rack (i pushed it out of the way so i could close the blinds), the blinds dont actually cover the opening so we were up by 5ish due to the light. The mattress appeared to be missing the sheet (seemed to just have a mattress cover, we were beat and just tried to go to sleep), shower water pressure and heat were both very low, $35 “resort fee”, i guess i missed the resort. The room itself was ok, small. For the price, ive had huge beautiful suites. I guess its just the price you pay to be in sedona. Certainly was below my expectations.

I stayed at the hotel, which was great. Unfortunately, the spa was not. I had a 90 minute treatment. The therapists hands were shaking so badly that he was unable to provide much pressure so it was more like a - painful - rub. He missed a couple of the "rituals" that were to be included. Very bad quality for a costly treatment. I emailed the spa before writing this review, hoping for an apology or explanation. I received no response, which to me is inexcusable. Enjoy lovely a lovely stay, don't book at the spa!

Wow!! We got a room in the spa building and the whole building and room smelled just like a spa room, we had a jacuzzi tub in our room and even though we were only there 1 night we were able to get multiple uses! Loved this place we will be back when we stay in Sedona again!

This wss a BIG splurge for me but the entire place did not disappoint in the least bit! We enjoyed both spa and hotel so will comment on both. The Spa was wonderful! My friend and I did the Friends Day Package 1. It was a delightful experience from George taking reservations and answering questions on the phone, Debbie making sure everything in every nook and cranny was clean and exceptional in every way throughout the entire spa to our masseuse and estheticians made for a very pleasant, friendly experience! The motel does not only have elegant accommodations and amenities but the staff was exceptional in every way! Everyone was so friendly and kind. I do want to just say the Rhonda was so helpful in making sure we were going to get the most out of our stay and made our dinner reservations when we asked where to get the get the best steaks in town. Most welcoming!

A great place to stay when you catch a sale, which we did. We received a bottle of wine, no resort fees, discount any the dogs, and free drink tickets to the attached restaurant/bar. They did not service the room until we left, (we were here 2 nights) so you may need to go to the desk and get extra towels.

Great room, were had a king deluxe on the 2nd floor. nice view of the grassy area and lots of space in the room. had drinks and dinner at Red's and it was great (except for the bread sticks, they were either stale or over cooked).Romantic atmosphere · Spacious rooms · Large suites · Great hotel bar · Quiet rooms

Fantastic! The stay was wonderful and the Swedish massage and the Shea butter body wrap was the best I have ever experienced.

Would probably give this a 3.5 stars if I had to. The service was non-existent. The hot tub was too cold to use. The rooms were nice and the location was nice and centrally located in town.

Did COVID-19 take-out here after a grueling hike. They are seating folks, so if you want that, call ahead for details. The criteria changes often - you know.... We had the ahi tuna dinner entre'. Quite good! Quite good! Give 'em a shot.

I've been on an extended road trip for the past 2.5 weeks and I've stayed everywhere from a 5 star to a primitive style campsite. I'm also a Wyndham rewards member so I've stayed at a few Wyndhams. In terms of amenities it has a jacuzzi, a pool, a restauraunt etc. I also like the fact that our room had a patio that directly led out to a green space. The green space in turn directly connects to the rest of the resort. Honestly though, the room was dissapointing for a 4 star at the price point we were paying at. The TV was smaller and less modern then expected, the bathroom wasnt updated, the coffee maker was older(2010ish). Two 3 stars I'd recently stayed at were better than the room at every level. Oh yeah and did I mention there was mold in the bathroom. However, in general I'm willing to look over just about anything as long as the service meets expectations, this is after all the service industry. And as you might've guessed they dropped the ball here too. They dont have bellhops, bag storage, and they dont have late check out. I've stayed at hostels with better basic services! They also couldnt make recommendations for nearby hikes which was super frustrating(I had hikes already pre-planned luckily). Heck the front desk was so new to the job I had to help explain to them how to do check in. And in order to get the fireplace pits going I had to use my trusty 88 cent gas lighter(I had fun with this to be fair). Despite all that I'd still say that it only made my stay at Sedona slightly worse but for a 4 star I really do expect better. New management took over 3-4 months ago apparently and that seems to be the main reason for the drop in quality. Average rating at the time of this review is 4.1 but in the last 4 months reviews have averaged sub 3.5. So the difference is pretty obvious. This hotel will almost certainly lose a star within the year so when evaluating this hotel I'd recommend ranking it as a 3 star and comparing it to other 3 stars. Im dissapointed in Wyndham as well for letting it get this bad.
Jessica P.
I would have given them a higher rating until I realized they were supposed to be a 4-star hotel. From 1st arrival and 1st glance the hotel was amazing. Great welcoming greetings, main room was amazing looking. There is no Bellhop, maybe Covid related, but they are not wiping down or strict about the mask usage so not sure if that is a reason. Bathroom slightly outdated with a significant mold issue (with an amazing room). All of these are simple issues that can be overlooked due to lack of preventive maintenance. But the service on the 2nd day with the front desk was not 4 star at all. We asked for a late check out even willing to pay, but was told that it was not allowed any more b/c in order for them to get the rooms ready for the next guest it needed to be cleaned...obviously?! But the hotel is less then 25% full so why are they turning away my money? Then I was explained that management changed 3monthes ago and this was the new policy. I understood that it was not the front desk fault so asked about baggage storage but was told it was not available since there was no bellhops. Maybe they were a 4 star hotel awhile back, but with the lack of help or basic hotel services they have been downgraded. The difference between 3star and 4 star is quality of room and quality of service.

Breakfast at Reds is amazing! Cornflake Crusted French Toast and Chorizo Southwest Eggs Benedict.....YUM! Great service with happy staff!!

Way overpriced for what you get. We went for a special occasion and spent extra for a jetted tub only to find out it had been replaced with a regular tub. We attempted to communicate our disappointment to management to see if they could do anything to help and they basically didn’t really care. Just ok overall and disappointed.

Overcharged by $518 and having a hard time recovering the money. I stayed one night and as of now the cost was over $900 for just a room, not sure I would stay again. The room was nice.

Such a great place! Beautifully kept and friendly staff. Room was great and bed very comfortable.

There was opened water bottles in our mini fridge, someone tried to break into our room, (or had drank to much and had the wrong room) my husband had to get up and yell for them to go away. We called front desk and nothing was done. The people above us were up all night we hardly got any sleep. Again we called front desk, they said they would tell them to keep it down it continued until 6am. The terrace was dirty and unkept, on the website its promoted as a comfortable place to star gaze with fire pits. There was broken wine glasses and old drinks fron the night before. All the furniture was moved around and no fire pits were turned on. We decided to cancel our next day and head out of there. One robe in the closet had a stain. There is a $35 additional hidden fee at checkout. I truly wanted to love the place, but I do not recommend.

They charged me after I told them I stayed for free using my rewards points. I called them a few times about my refund. Horrible customer service, I will never book here!

Beautiful sitting, courteous staff, took advantage of room service, delicious food. Sat outside our room enjoying the weather, later took in the hot tub and relaxed by the fire pit. Room was comfortable, bathroom open and spacious. TV wasn't working properly, called front desk and a maintenance person arrive almost immediately, solving the problem. Unhappy with loading and unloading luggage, unable to reach our room without a long detour, making it very difficult.

My wife had a bad allergic reaction to the bed sheets and she broke out in hives. The resort unfortunately did not have other options for the sheets than the standard ones. They did offer us some blankets that did not cause this reaction. Unfortunately, my wife still had to sleep on the ground from the contact between the bed and the sheets. I understand that strong detergent is important during Covid, however having a back-up option would have been nice for this type of establishment.

Rooms are clean, bit way over priced for what they offer. There's nothing special about this hotel. The shower head in our room was clogged so the water came out to strong on some holes. The AC unit is noisy, hard Tod sleep. I stay here three days, they charged me the second day for two bottles of water, the first two were free (geez, thx). The restaurant food is awful, as were the drinks. I don't recommend this place.

The staff is not helpful for any reason or in any way. There never seems to be a manager on duty, calling the front desk only allows you to leave a message. We stayed a week and did not have a good experience. We will not be staying here again when we come back.

We had a great time staying here. Very nice clean rooms and the bed was amazing. The view of the pool was ok but not what I was wanting. Overall this is a nice hotel in Sedona.

Room was not clean! Dental floss dried left on the facet in bathroom! Lots of finger prints on the bathroom doors, coffee spilled on wall by trash can in room, sheets had stains, chairs on the patio and inside had stains! Patio table dirty.. why there pain to clean like I have to pay to stay there. I drove 2 hours to stay in a dirty hotel and received a 31$ resort fee credit after the website says you would receive it! I didn’t get breakfast because it was closed when they said it was open on Friday and so does the recorded line. Ashley was sweet she left birthday treats! Jake was nice he came to try to clean room because housekeeping didn’t come get the dental floss they left. I really should have received a better rate because of the problem and I’m thankful for the 31$ but there hotel is not clean as it should have been. They apologized and offered maybe another discounted stay but I came for my birthday, and may not return. Why a night stay maybe in them for another time instead of this time ?

Lovely spot in Sedona! Even during Covid-19 we feel secure staying here. Spotlessly clean & nicely appointed rooms.

I need manager to call me asap. The charge for $359 still has not lifted from my account now there's and additional 31.73 charge on my account that I was told that wouldn't be there by Danielle! Now I have more fees on my acct because of your hotel! There is no concern for me as a paying customer. Your customer service is just an apology no resolution.
Ty M.
On July 25th I paid in full to stay at the Sedona Rouge. After paying for my room in full they put another $359 hold on my card. I got in early and was told I receive a call or text when my room was ready. That didn't happen. Never received a response to any of my concierge texts. I didn't get my room key until after 5pm. Check in was 4. As much as this hotel costs you think there be some concern. Other patrons didn't have any issue checking in early. They didn't look like me though. The only hold should have been $131 for incidentals and the resort fee. Now the hold will not lift off my account. It's like I'm being double charged. I will never stay here again. I am livid. You can't reach no one at the hotel. I guess my concerns don't matter.Painful experience · Unfriendly atmosphere · Rude service
Johhny G.
Reserved a room for two nights my calling the hotel directly. after done booking went online and noticed that I can get the same room for for $130 cheaper online. Called the hotel back and was informed that I cannot cancel my room and if I tried to they would charge me one night no matter what. After being told the manager would call me back which they never did. I think it's very poor service by the hotel not to allow a customer to try to save money and or at least offer to match it. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody that does not allow their customers to try to save money. If I wasn't forced to stay there I would not be staying there after this encounter.

Not very good communication. Cannot reach a actual person when calling and must leave a message. I left two specifically asking to be called back and no one called. I am a Diamond member with Wyndham properties but because I did not book directly through them I did not get any of the perks/benefits that’s a Diamond member gets. This is where I have a issue with this property. As a “4” start “resort” there should be better customer service regardless of where I booked through since I am a loyal customer to the Wyndham brand which is why I stayed at this hotel. I tried to ask for a late check out and was told I have to request the morning of, really? I checked out on a Monday, it’s slow, the parking lot was empty, I know they could have given me more time. I expect a 2 pm late checkout but was only given one hour or would have to pay $50, again really this is how you treat Diamond members at your property. Same issue with early check in, was told based on availability but the parking lot had literally 3 cars parked. And tip to management, do not send the Welcome text message to customers if the room is not ready to be checked in yet. Every hotel I’ve stayed at only send the welcome message when the room is ready to be checked in. Onto the positives, the rooms are nice and the restaurant was good. The pool is very small though for how big the pool area is.

We've stayed at Sedona Rouge in the past and had a great experience, unfortunately this time wasn't the same. When we first arrived the curbside check in was simple, and then on to our room. After taking some time to sanitize, we went out for a bit. What we noticed when we returned was our AC wasn't working. Unfortunately due to COVID, I didn't want someone in our room..... so for the time we were there we were miserable. We tried opening the sloding doors at night, but there was no order around the large amount of people congregating outside our room. It was like a nightclub outside at 2 in the morning. So we were kept up all night, both nights of our stay. Making the decision to travel anywhere during covid was stressful, but having it be a bad experience made it 10x worse. Not sure we'll be visiting Sedona Rouge again in the future when there are many other places to stay that I'm sure would ensure their guests comfort.

Reds. The NY Prime steak was off the hook so flavorful, juice, and melt in your mouth PERFECTION!! I found a new food obsession with their grilled avocado toast.

Love this place. The room was great, the bed was super comfortable, and the tub was so great to just melt the day away in. Only thing was the two times I have been there I was put in the same room(great room) but the light in the bathroom both times was burnt out and the shower would flood the bathroom. Minor things that I can overlook because the room, bed and relaxation I felt was fantastic. Will be back again.
Dianna F.
The hotel was just ok. I was disappointed, they charge a resort fee, when they don't offer daily maid service, there was no hand sanitizer in the rooms. Hotel offered two water bottles daily, which I had to get myself. If I needed towels in my room I had to call the front desk, they were not brought to us on a daily basis,, the pool area was nasty, towels everywhere, tables were not cleaned, they had plastic cups on their tables. Pool area was only cleaned in the morning. This place is not woth the money. The receptionist at check in was not very friendly, no hello how are you. he didn't explain the fees. I would never recommend or return..

Great couples weekend! This is our second trip and we are already planning our third. Location is awesome, staff is friendly, room is always clean, pool and spa are perfect. Reds has great food, dine-in or room service!

Nice hotel with spa, restaurant, pool, Jacuzzi. Horrible service. Not a relaxing place. Restaurant service immediately outside guest-rooms with loud incorrigible diners. Called front desk twice to ask for help to no avail. No room service due to COVID19. Not disclosed at time of booking or arrival. Ok, I asked for towels and two included waters, 2 hours later nothing. Went to the manager who was unapologetic. Manager not able to resolve issue with our room. We are not cheap and were not happy with the location of our room and actually wanted an upgrade to a suite with a view that we were willing to pay for. No luck. We are newlyweds and were here for a romantic birthday weekend. Needless to say that was NOT the case.
Garrett S.
For $270 a night we got a room very different from those shown on the site. I wouldn’t complain if it was not for the price and the fact that we spent extra because they said it was luxurious for our anniversary. I’d say this is closer to a holiday-in. Just a heads up
Sarah B.
Well appointed hotel and spa. Rooms were clean and offered comfortable beds, nicely decorated accommodations and beautiful balcony views. All buildings surround a courtyard with beautiful fire pits and nice community areas. The spa is very nice - a large menu of services, comfortable lounge spaces, nice outdoor areas - you can really spend the day here. A beautiful peace to stay while visiting Sedona.

The rooms are fantastic.

Sedona Rouge was massively underwhelming. However, customer service at the front desk and REDS was phenomenal. Then we arrived to the room and the bathroom was dirty. The fireplace was broken. We were informed some one was coming to light the torches at the upstairs patio and no one showed until we waited for 45 minutes and called again. All the issues went unaddressed until our water was shut off at 11 am and we were unable to shower ( We had already set up a late check out). When I addressed it with management they said they had done their due diligence by leaving a letter in the guest packet and it was our fault for not reading it. They hardly apologized, waived a resort fee ($31.00) and said property management would be in touch with me tomorrow. It was very unfortunate seen as how this was such a beautiful property and we had recieved great service initially. Sedona Rouge should take better care of their customers and I'd ADVISE AGAINST paying upwards to $500 a night in exchange for that type of customer service.
Ron D.
All the staff here are incredibly nice. Editha and Debra were especially helpful when my appointment needed to be cancelled as a result of one of their therapists calling in sick. Not only did they let me use their facilities that day for free, but they heavily discounted the next massage and were super apologetic. Customer service here is top notch, facilities are clean, and the services are great. I’ll definitely continue coming back here!
Billie Jo M.
All the beauty of Sedona landscape. All the employees were so nice. Spa was a great experience. The breakfast at Red's restaurant(attached to resort) was so delicious. Other restaurants within in walking distance and only 10 minutes drive to downtown Sedona
Sue S.
Nice but the hard sell time share presentation went well over the time they quoted. Very hard sell!

Absolutely do not come here. The people who work here are extremely disrespectful and rude. I spoke with a few people, but Danielle was the manager I believe and she was extremely impolite. They overcharge and put fees on the bill and when questioned they don’t care to help resolve any issue. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

We love this Hotel. Beautiful rooms, love the restaurant and the staff. Beautiful Red rocks around the backside. We sat out by the fire pit and just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

Absolutely love this place. It's a fantastic place to stay, convenient, luxurious, and opulent. I just had a birthday spa treatment package and "holy fantabulousness Sally Francis", it was amazing! The 2 hour treatment with Bradley was blissful and serious perfection, the Hammam Spa Ritual. I cannot wait to go back and experience it all over again. Thank you, all of you at Sedona Rouge and Spa for an awesome birthday!

Great place to stay.

The hotel was great and so was the service. It was close to the main attractions we wanted to visto and 3-5 minutes drive to the airport observatory. The rooms were big and clean. We even got a little balcony with our first floor room. It was a little chilly at night but the jacuzzi was perfect for a romantic night. My favorite part, THE VIEW. There's a mini rooftop and we woke up to see the sunset there.. So beautiful and calming, you see how the mountains start to look bright orange as the sun rises and even enjoy seeing the hot air balloons traveling at that time. I ????recommend. Breakfast is not included buy they gave us tickets for free drinks when we arrived.

Beautiful views, polite reception staff, clean rooms, nice restaurant on site, pretty grounds, comfortable rest areas to read and relax. We loved this resort during our stay. It was close to everything on the main strip and small enough to be quiet and relaxing. They have nightly fire pits and a spa if you choose to enjoy those during your stay.

I like this hotel because it's small and it clear all the things I like to do in Sedona. They have a restaurant that's fantastic and a wonderful happy hour that's reason on the food is delicious. It was wonderful and the grounds are clean and pretty

We came to Sedona to celebrate our friends 65th birthday and to enjoy the spa treatments at this resort. When we checked in after 3:00 they said our room wasn’t ready. We ate in their restaurant to kill time. We ordered at 3:20, after the server took our order he then gave us the Happy Hour menu which had already started 30 minutes prior. So we ended up not ordering from the happy hour menu because it was offered AFTER we ordered!!! Then we went to get our room and ours was ready and our friends were told they had been “downgraded” because the room they were supposed to be in the people were still there and they couldn’t get a hold of them. After spending over an hour going round and round they still would not give them a equal room to what they booked. Our friends drive 3 hours last night to meet us and then we drove another 6 1/2 hours to get to this hotel. They said they would try to move tomorrow but could not guarantee it. There was NO manager to talk to and the staff was very young and inexperienced. Our room is beautiful and a much nicer room than our friends downgrade. We are so disappointed in this hotel.

Excellent. All the staff was very attentive and the rooms were very nice.

Hubby and I ,are visiting Arizona for the first time for family connection, grand canyon bucket list vennture, and pre xmas eve birthday, celebration! I cannot praise our dining experience at Red's Sedona Grill! The atmosphere, menu selections and world class personalized service was a joy to experience. We spoke at length with Thomas, the manager. We were compelled to share the specific details of our enjoyment of each meal item ordered. The chef was very accommodating in that he produced a dish that was not currently on the menu.Shannon, our vivacious and personable server, was a delight and super efficient! The food was 5 star quality and taste. The creative combinations and homemade condiments were delicious. We appreciated the pride that they exuded with their original brand. We have several days left in our Arizona visit. You can be sure that we will return to Reds Sedona Grill for another fine dining experience!

Unfortunately, this visit was a nightmare, staff do not seem to know what is going on or care about customers. When I checked in the receptionist helping me made a comment that she had made three mistakes that night and was hoping she could check me in with no problems. I had to explain my reservation which was no rocket science, I was staying for two nights and also booked a second room for one night only, all paid for in advance. I always make sure to go over my bill and any extra fees I'll be charged so there are no surprises. I was told the only fees I needed to pay were the resort fees and I was aware when I made the reservation. The next morning I checked my bank account and saw the resort fees as I was expecting and also noticed over $200 in unknown charges, when I asked for clarification no one knew what was going on. I asked to speak to a manager and after waiting on them to figure out what happened the answer I got from him was that it was human error and I would get a refund in 3 to 4 business days. I did not get an apology until they saw I was extremely upset. This situation was handled very poorly. I understand mistakes happen, but no one seemed to understand or care why I was frustrated. At checkout I was charged with resort fees that I had already paid for and again, the staff did not have a clue of what was going on or why I was being charged twice. I will never stay at this hotel again, the appearance of the hotel is nice, but unfortunately it doesn't match the staff they have working at the lobby. The staff's appearance looked very unkempt and the night staff were very unprofessional and loud. This hotel should focus on better training for their staff and hire people with customer service skills. The rooms were okay not as clean as I was expecting for the price they charge. The location is great, but overall it is not worth staying here, not for what you're paying. There are other hotels near by to choose from and with better customer service.

Third time may have been a charm, but the fourth was just terrible. Fourth time staying at the resort and unfortunately, a horrible experience for my wife and myself on our anniversary. The stay started with a lovely display of cobwebs hanging from the corner of the spa room, and a window that hadn't been cleaned in what looked like a year. "No worries," we said to ourselves, "this place never lets us down." Dinner time approaches so we order room service. Two burgers, one cooked Medium, one cooked Medium-Well (I know, this is a travesty in itself but it's how she likes it) along with an order of fries and some ranch dressing. The order arrives about 30 minutes later with burnt buns, both burger patties horribly undercooked, and missing ranch. We call back down and ask for the ranch that was forgotten, but apologize for the inconvenience as we never want to be "those people." 11PM approaches and loud banging is heard...and felt...for an hour and a half. Staff going in and out of rooms, loudly, with no care for the guests around them. We slept it off as best we could, woke up in the morning and went to check out. We were never asked how are stay was, so we volunteered the information. The response was simple: "Oh, that noise was probably security." and in answer to the food and cobwebs situation, "it's a holiday weekend so we're busy. I'll leave a note for the manager." No apologies or care about the short experience, no understanding that it was our fourth stay to celebrate our anniversary. Just a blank face that told us everything we needed to know -- we were seen as a nuisance and should leave. Talk about a disappointing weekend. Just because it is a busy holiday doesn't mean service can slack. You are asking people to pay a premium rate while also asking them to accept a subpar service. If you can't handle cleaning and feeding your guests during the holidays, then just admit it and offer the rooms at a discounted rate. Sad that one bad experience will cause us to look at other resorts moving forward.

Stayed here back in September and had an overall good experience. I booked over the phone as their website stated having a discounted price for Arizona locals, but there was no option to book with this price online. Person over phone was very rude, but when I was transferred to someone else they gave me the proper rate for the room. Upon arriving the room was very nice, clean, spacious. Outdoor areas were a little less well maintained though. Ate in the hotel restaurant and food was very good! Was nice to have the $10 credit towards the restaurant for charging to our room, and then paying once for everything upon leaving. Would definitely stay again!

THIS PLACE IS SO GRAND THE STAFF TREAT YOU LIKE YOU WERE A KING THEY GO THAT EXTRA MILE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU IF IN SEDONA AZ. STAY THERE

Update 11/07/2019: About 2 weeks after the post to google I was refunded my entire purchase price and contacted by the front desk manager. Thank you Original post: After inspection of the room I found a dead insect at the head of the bed. In between the mattress and the boxspring. In room 130 There is ZERO way I would ever stay there. Staff at the front said they would NOT refund me as I had already checked in. (There would be no way to know what was IN the room without checking in, obviously) so I am missing what the hotels issue is. Jessica the new girl there at the front desk was amazing. She was in training Her shorter supervisor or regular front desk agent (whomever it was) was NOT happy with the fact that I had issue with the room. She was extremely difficult to even have a conversation with and made sure to explain twice in our conversation that there would be NO refund This whole place is an absolute joke. And I was given the email of the director of the property by the company we used to book the hotel. Magically they failed to respond. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME and expect no reply from anyone

Stay was fine. Staff and/or Sedona Rouge applies a $30 per night resort fee which we opted out of. Checking out the resort fee was added on and no amount of discussion regarding opting out would be listened to by the rude/minimum wage paid receptionist. Customer service and honesty are lacking.

Quiet and elegant. A very helpful staff

This is the best place for a getaway get a massage at the spa on site
Bruce D.
Had a great couple massage with Laura and Nadine...really enjoyed the couple twin flames massage - fantastic....as were the masseuses
Chuck S.
From check in throughout our stay the Sedona Rouge met all of our expectations. The room was clean with everything working properly. The restaurant was amazing; the food was exceptional and so was the service. I was hooked on the "Mighty Greens" salad and the "Arizona Burger". We had a burger at a "Burger specialty" resturant & there was no comparison. There were many other tasty things on the menu but this stuck out for me. There is a nice, large courtyard with fire pits and a pool. Location was perfect for us. I would definitely stay again!
Derek D.
Decent room, a little dated wired shower bath tube combo. Priced a little high but spa is nice ( really expensive) beautiful fire pit and seating area.

Great rooms, but lacking fitness center.

Wish I could give zero stars. We stayed at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. I killed the roaches after my wife pointed them out the first morning we woke up there. I should've checked out at that time. However, I called down and requested the room to be cleaned and the roaches to be addressed while we were out exploring throughout the day. They failed to clean the room and just removed the dead roaches. While I was at their spa the following morning they wouldn't give us a complimentary late checkout in order for my wife to wait in the room for an additional 60 minutes until I could return to carry the luggage down for us. Between the cost of food, room and spa treatments.... I think my wife and I spent close to $2k with them on the 3 day and 2 night stay. Terrible customer service from the hotel. The spa service was excellent.

Upscale, fantastic food at wedding reception.

I was the photographer for a wedding couple staying here. Their was plenty of parking, the rooms were beautiful and the color scheme and scenery was breath taking. However the hotel has an extremely late check in and we caught the housekeeper on several occasions texting on the job rather than being payed to do her job.

Great place, nice management. Outside seating is a plus. Enjoyed it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nicely maintained property. The rooms are big and spacious.

Beautiful decor and comfy room.

Love this hotel and the new additions they have done.

The hotel itself was pretty nice, nothing too crazy, but the service on the other hand was severely underwhelming Nd actually a little offensive. As long as you’re not greeted at the lobby by James, I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful stay. Upon entering, we’re greeted by an unsmiling teenager. A friend of ours was kind enough to set up the reservation and had given us the proper documentation so that when we were to check in, we wouldn’t have any problems or be asked for any credit cards. We come up to the desk and explain to the kid but it doesn’t even seem to register because he immediately asks for a credit card to “just confirm our identity.” But he failed to mention that there would be a hold of 100 dollars in our account and that we would be refunded when we left. He tells us this AFTER he swipes the card. I ask him again if he could take a look at the paperwork because that’s not what was supposed to be happening but he doesn’t even glance at the paperwork or allow us to explain anything, immediately saying “it’s for Incidentals.” Super disrespectful and did not make us feel welcome at all or ask us anything, he made us feel like we had already trashed the room before we even got the key card. On top of that, a couple of guests come in after us to check in, and the young woman attending them asks them ONLY for their ID and not their credit card. Maybe I’m thinking too much ahead but unlike the other guests, we are not white, I can only wonder if we were asked for a credit card because of our race. We called the friend who arranged everything and put him on the phone with James. They work it out and James doesn’t even apologize to us or crack a smile. Literally just gives us our key and continues on treating us like a nuisance instead of a guest. Not a very nice start to our stay. UPDATE: The restaurant manager who delivered the food we ordered from the REDS restaurant was extremely kind to us and her service honestly made our stay much more enjoyable. The hotel Manager apologized to us genuinely at check out which was appreciated. The pool was really nice and the location was super close to the Tlaquepaque Shop Village and Sedona Mainstreet which made our trip all the more worthwhile. Other than the less than welcoming welcome we had personally, the hotel is a nice place to stay if you’re visiting Sedona.

Fraud Alert! Stay away from this overrated hotel. They do the typical bait & switch. Horrible & rude customer service. I alredy filed a report to AZ County Attorneys Office & to my Bank to dispute these fraudulent charges! Go somewhere else. It's not worth the money, time or hassle!!

My wife too km me there and I enjoyed the trip. Great views, lots of trees, and canyons. The weather was great and a lot cooler than Phoenix

The first night the shower flooded the whole bathroom. The shower was a infinity shower so no way to stop the flow. The fixed it the next day. The second day the a/c wall unit froze and did not go below 75 degrees. when i asked the staff why didn't they have directions on how to use the air con . They replied that almost all guests ask for that but corporate won't listen to the staff. Also , it is ridiculous that you get charged $20 charged /credit if you eat in their restarurant and bar. Well I ordered 4 cokes and was charged for them all. They advertise a terrace view and they said it opens at 7-11pm . They never had anybody up there serving drinks or snacks. It is a nice view and they don't accomadate with anything except lawn furniture. So if you want to have a drink and watch the sunset you have to buy a cocktail on the first floor and go up to 3 rd floor. The whole ho

Really great room and a nice price. Only downside was the walls are fairly thin. Whomever was next door started arguing with each other and yelling outside of other guests. We were kept on edge of expecting their raised voices again. Would stay again in future.
Helloimpri
I was looking forward to my stay at this hotel as i went back and forth on where would be the best place for my boyfriend and i to stay. well picking this place was kind of a total regret. our check in was at 4pm and our room wasn’t ready until 5pm. but we waited after we were given keys. and told the room was ready for us to just walk over to our room and discover a dirty room. the check in staff was so unfriendly, not once did they smile, in there defense, they were young and inexperienced. once our room was ready we relaxed and headed over to the pool, we grabbed a menu for a pool side snack and the menu said they served food until 6pm. we tried placing an order at 5:36 and the pool server said food service was over. my boyfriend went and spoke with a manager and explained im 8 months pregnant and the menu says 6 and they should honor that. it’s a saturday and they’re aware of their check in time and housekeeping running late that day they should make sure the kitchen is open and ready to welcome their new checked in guests. there were children unattended by parents at the pool. it is a very clean hotel and the bed was comfortable. the restaurant had a delicious breakfast so that earned this place 2 stars. wont be staying here again though.
Phil J.
I arrived 15 mins after check in time to be told that my room wasnt ready and to maybe check back in a half hour. I had to call back twice and wait over an hour for them to clean my room. There was no discout or attempt to reconcile the situation, not even an apology.

Nice hotel...we stayed in the newer wing of the hotel, and I loved the patio and courtyard area. Super convenient location and nice views, and the attached spa was very conveniently. This is not a secured spot...literally next to a strip mall with a Safeway, but we found it easy to shop and keep costs down. Staff was nice and accommodating, and the onsite restaurant Reds also had very good food and pleasant service.
Jennifer J.
What a find! The photos online don't do this hotel justice! The room was perfect. Clean, cozy and had a bath tub that overlooked the pool downstairs. The staff was helpful and friendly. Loved this getaway :)

Great meeting space

Was so very pleasantly surprised. We accidentally were taken by GPS to the Wyndham Resort a few blocks away (quite a nice Timeshare. Huge and well planned) so we thought this would be a bummer. Not! It has such eccentricity in its modernization of rooms. The feel is very European. Huge stand alone bathtub and separate shower with double shower heads. We’re very happy to have found this spot and definitely will return. A plus for animal lovers are the cute dogs arriving, poodles and mixes. Very nice! And a modern upscale Safeway for whatever you require right next door.
Yesenia C.
I really liked the service and the hotel overall. The rooms are renovated, they are on the large size. The pool is a good size and they even have a Jacuzzi. I gave em a 4 star because they do not offer breakfast. But they have a nice restaurant and sometimes they have deaks on breakfast. So, overall is like a 4.5 for me.
Kelly M.
I hate when people do this, but I will do this anyway because I want to warn others to stay away from this hotel’s shady booking practices. I booked what was stated on their website to be a refundable room, however the booking confirmation had in very fine print at the bottom that it was non-refundable. I subsequently cancelled the reservation 24 hours later (not having noticed the fine print, which was contrary to the policy stated on the website prior to booking), and have been fighting with the hotel and my credit card for over 4 months to refund the charge. If you believe you are making a refundable reservation, take a screen shot!! I neglected to do so and now am out over $1,400. The supposed documentation they submitted to the credit card company doesn't even make sense. Shame on them and Am Ex! Stay away!!
Marta S.
Mario and front of house staff were so great to work with! They provided excellent customer service that started with the booking phone call. My room was beautiful and clean. I enjoyed the morning yoga with Rebecca. The only thing that wasn’t wonderful about this resort was the cupping massage I received in the spa. The cups kept falling off my back because of the lack of suction. I chose this massage because it gets the most work done in the least amount of time, but I feel like I not only wasted my time but also $150. I had planned on spending more time in the spa but after that experience decided not to.
Wesley H.
Great place to stay. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Love the face that they have yoga daily that you can attend. Great location also
Tamika L.
Wonderful experience except for the restaurant. I definitely recommend eating elsewhere. The room and hotel staff were absolutely amazing.

The hotel was lovely and the spa was fantastic. I had a facial and it was awesome. So relaxing. I recommend her-small, Asian woman. Sorry cant remember her name. Very good!

Great place! Our room was pleasantly updated. So the reviews that mention it being dated. (May be dated.) We had some great food and service at Red's Restaurant and will for sure be staying here again and most likely every time we visit Sedona.

I scheduled a one hour deep-tissue massage. It felt great and my back never felt better.

Love it

Had a great time at the full moon presentation given by Dr Sky on the rooftop. If it weren't for that great experience I would've left a 3 star review. The fitness center was tiny... Tried working out with two other people in there and it was awkward. It felt like we were all standing on top of each other. Restaurant and front desk don't communicate well or new people aren't trained properly. Had a mix-up with the free kids meals being charged to our room ($20) that the front desk had to fix at checkout. Luckily, we caught it and asked questions.
Rick C.
Very nice rooms and amenities. Roof top view deck has great views and comfortable lounge chairs. Very happy we chose this hotel

Awful at accommodating last minute issues. I called 48 hours before my reservation to let them know that something had come up & I wasn't going to be able to make it. Their cancellation policy is 72 hours. I called and kindly explained to them what my situation was, and having had this happen a few other times with various hotels, I figured they would be understanding and maybe just charge me $50-100 to cancel. They told me the only thing they could do was still charge me $215 and then give it to me as a "credit." I tried multiple times to see if we could work something else out, but they just pretty much repeatedly told me "We don't have to give you the $215 credit, we're giving it to you as a courtesy. So if you don't want it, we don't have to give it to you." Disappointed that there wasn't any sort of exception they could make - it's not like I tried to cancel the day of...48 hours is still a decent heads up. Will not be recommending Wyndham, and specifically this hotel, to anyone going forward.
Shoplink
1st all the staff were wonderful with the exception of the evening lady manager. She insisted we were a day late even after showing her the email acknowledgement of the cancellation of the day in question. Made out like we were trying to avoid paying the near $300 daily rate which we were not obligated to. 2nd the courtyard fountain ran from 6am to 11pm and was so loud it kept us both up until it went off, 3rd the ice machine was right by our door and made noise all night. Nice room but no views. Restaurant 'Reds' was excellent. Bring earplugs to this hotel.

Absolutely stunning. Staff is fantastic. Rooms beautiful.

The room was nice that we stayed in but customer service could have been better. We had a group of 4 and I had checked in earlier than friends so I had to put my card on file. I asked the front desk if anything would be charged and she said no. The next morning I noticed there was a hold for $628 on my account and we asked the front desk at that time if we could change the card on file. She said there was nothing we could do until check out. At this point I'm not happy but nothing I can do. Also we were never told we had a $10 credit for Redds restaurant daily. The day we checked out we asked about the credit and front desk said we could only use that if we charged the bill to our room. Not once were we told that the 3 times we ate at the restaurant. So we missed out on $30. We are now checked out and the funds are still on hold for 3 to 5 days. The hotel supervisor could do nothing for me. She apologized but that doesn't fix anything. Also check your bill at checkout. There was an extra dog fee and someone had put a charge to our room from the bar. The room was nice and would have stayed again but because of these issues we will not be coming back

Wonderful place. The rooms are beautiful and some have the smallest balconies I ever saw! The restaurant , Reds, was very good and made delicious cocktails.
Diana H.
Not sure where the 4 star rating comes from but once you're there it doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel. We checked in and were given a room that awas already occupied. The rooms are small. Can't experience Sedona too great at this location because it is close to grocery stores and away from most scenery and activities. The restaurant was good but they had no views at all when you eat. Its also pricy which was fine and worth it for some things, however, I did not agree with paying $8 to have coffee served to us when the same thing is a few steps away in the lobby. Yoga was a good experience.
Kendra
Nothing but GREAT things to say about this resort. We did utilize our spa credit and decided on a couples message....and it did not disappoint...A-MAZING! We will return! Newly renovated with balcony and huge walk in shower. Renovations are under way during the day, we weren't inside long enough to notice, but quiet at night.

We were at Reds for lunch which is always tasty!

Wonderful Staff. Friendly. Great Rooms

I am very disappointed with my stay. The staff was rude and lied about there manager being onsite. I needed to get into my room that was 45 minutes late with being clean. I am in a wheelchair and needed to enter my room. I was treated very bad by the staff although it was their mistake. They had no empathy for the situation they caused me to have. Not to mention the accessibility to the roomwas not truly there. RudeStaff

Good food, excellent waitstaff.

Nice facility, clean rooms and conveniently located. Make your spa reservations early. I'd stay there again.
Jah L.
Beyond disappointing. Accounting operating software beyond poor. Upper management not helpful. My stay was double charged by the hotel. Management denied. I had to file a claim with the credit card. It took the hotel 3 weeks to acknowledge they had doubled charged my stay. .. Will never stay there again .. Not commenting in rooms so as not to add salt to injury.

This property is an older property that's been modestly upgraded on the main drag of 89A in Sedona. As a seasoned traveler, we found it "OK' but, probably close to a 2.5 pushing 3-star property vs. a 4 star which is what it was generally listed on most sites as. For one, the room was very small, some of the lamps/shades were broken, the exhaust fan/light in the bathroom was so loud, it sounded like a plane taking off. My request for a late check-in (arrived at midnite PST due to SW flight issues) and later, foam pillows - to the front desk were met with puzzled reactions and mixed results. We had a flower arrangement and gift delivered to our room by mistake. We had a blanket delivery at an odd time that we didn't request. Lastly, on Day 2 of our 3 day stay, I received two debits to my checking account....one for $1102 for the room + tax (fine...and another for $384 which was some type of 'incidentals minimum charge + resort fee" that the front desk explained would be credited back to me based on what I spent at the restaurants). Some 3 weeks later, this has still not occurred so, I'm frankly still mystified about what I paid for on a rack rated $284/night room for 3 nights. Again, this property is fine but just not special if you're looking for a 4-star+ experience. As long as your expectations are set properly, you'll do fine here.
Donald P.
VERY disappointing....stayed here in 2017, but will NEVER again. I reserved through a third party offering that was presented on the Sedona Rouge website and was given a room that was downstairs where an upstairs guest w/ children was quite noisy and when I asked to be moved to another room the next morning for the second night I was not accommodated. Have never had a hostelry so inconsiderate as to ignore a guest in such a way. I’d recommend others to stay elsewhere. Arabella or L’Auberge or Arabella would be a better choice. This establishment doesn’t care about guests after they have your money. Response was window dressing as there WERE available rooms but evidently if booked through Expedia then one is treated differently..RECOMMENDATION STANDS—DO NOT STAY HERE, STAFF DISCOURTEOUS AND UNACCOMODATING

Unique lodge,. Cool opening with water fountain opon entry. Great breakfast dinner attached,. Awesome views from the rooftop to go blow smoke signals.

Hotel is fine. But bill is interesting. I didn’t get my receipt for about half months and still don’t know why my rate goes so high. Won’t come back.

+ : bedding was comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom were clean in the room. - : air conditioning didn’t work and when we brought up the issue it wasn’t addressed; Waited for check in due to understaffing (she was extremely nice and patient I will note!); resort charges an extra $25 resort fee even when booked through the hotel website. For a $300 room, I was seriously disappointed.

Come here every year for the Sedona Film Festival. Always treated great and amenities are FINE!!

First let me say that this is a pet-friendly hotel! My wife, dog and I stayed there back in Sep. 2018 for 3-4 nights while we explored Sedona and the hotel was very nice. It's not the 5-Diamond Enchantment Resort up the road, but it's not a Holiday Inn Express either. Our room was large and on the ground floor and came with an exceptionally lush king-size bed and a lot of great pillows. The setting was quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. The grounds were well maintained and had lots of guest parking near by. We did have one meal at the restaurant "Red" I think it was called and the food was good. They have a few dining tables outside so you can sit out there with your pet. What we really liked was its location in relation to other eateries and destinations. Across the street, within walking distance is Pisa Lisa, some of the best pizza I've ever eaten anywhere. This restaurant is one of Chef Dahl's three restaurants in Sedona which are all a fantastic dining experience. They also accommodated us with our pet. Great, friendly service and insane food! Also nearby is the Local Juicery, think organic, raw, awesome and avocado toast! Excellent place to grab your first meal of the day before heading out sightseeing, ballooning or photographing. And finally, there's a Starbucks in the local grocer right next door to the hotel for that early morning brew.WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT SEDONA ROUGE AND WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE THE NEXT TIME WE'RE IN SEDONA!

My facial was very nice and relaxing... then I had to deal with the person at reception/check out who is clueless, and undid my relaxation! Update: the manager Gary called me he didn't even accknowledge who he was... then whenI asked who was calling, he told me who he was, he just made excuses. I don't plan to go back.

Great hotel. Food in restaurant was ok. Hotel was beautiful

Beautiful hotel and spa. I received the 1 hour custom massage. The therapist was professional and crafted the massage to my needs. I had just hiked down and back out of the Grand Canyon and my legs were SORE. I felt amazing afterwards. It was a gift from my mom so I didn't have to pay for it but I know it wasn't a cheap massage. $120.00 I believe. That's a very normal rate for a tourist town like Sedona.
Hannah V.
From what I saw this is such a nice little boutique hotel in Sedona. There was so much character and art within the hotel lobby, and the room was just breathtaking. Impeccably clean and the bed was super soft and inviting. The walk in shower with the waterfall spout was just perfect. Honestly this was the beat hotel experience I've had in a long time, and the staff at the front desk during checkout was incredible as well.
Stephanie T.
Beautiful place, but what an awful experience with management when charged an extra fee. For the money I paid to stay here I would expect more. I had a psychiatric service dog with me when I checked into the hotel---both representatives saw the dog when checking in. There was a box checked upon others at check-in with an acknowledgment about there being an extra charge for pets (mind you I had a psychiatric service dog not a pet). When I checked out, everything was fine. The charges were accurate. Days later I found an extra charge on my credit card for a pet as found by cleaning! What the heck! When calling to resolve the matter I had to go through a front desk girl (Gabriela), front desk manager (I believe, Mike), then a lady who oversees front desk managers, so I was told, and finally the GE, Ed Conway. A nightmare to say the least! By the end of my call with the front desk manager I was told that the charged would be refunded to me, however, I would be transferred to his manager to facilitate the transaction, as he could not do so. I was transferred to his manager only to find an answering machine. I left a message on a Monday and was not called back until Wednesday. Expecting to have a quick chat with her and her to refund the charge as I was told, I found her to argue with me about the charge. Can you believe that? After all the headache so far! She told me that she ask the front desk manager about it while we were on the phone (how is this even possible because I didn’t hear her and she never put me on hold) and he never said the charge would be refunded. Mind you she talked over me the entire time we were speaking. Absurd! I told her that it wasn’t even on my bill at check out when her representatives very well knew the dog was there. She didn’t care. I was then transferred to the GE explaining everything only to be met by him abruptly hanging up the phone on me. So RUDE and the poorest of customer service! I would never recommend anyone to stay here do to my unfortunate experience. I would expect more from a hotel by Wyndham.

Beautiful resort! Enjoyed my time in Sedona! It's quite an Amazing place ????
Wajid R.
Sedona Roach Hotel Stayed here about a week ago after my cousin booked this place for a family hiking trip. Unfortunately we had a few issues with our stay. The 2nd day the water went out and we had zero water pressure in the shower!!! When we informed the staff they told us it was a hotel wide issue and as a solution we could use the public shower in the spa!! Then we had an uninvited guest drop in on us one night in the form of a huge roach in the bathroom. When we informed the front desk the next morning they were really not concerned and only offered to waive one of the resort fees of $25. This place is advertised as a high end resort so we were really looking forward to our stay here. Very disappointing experience and we will not be back.

Received a couples massage and it was excellent and professional.

OMG the spa here is unbelievable. I did a 120 min massage with Yoko, and my mind was blown. I'm an avid spa goer, I've had services in many places and with many practitioners, and she is honestly the best therapist I've ever worked with. It was like all my massages before this one were listening to a live band and she was like listening to a live orchestra. She understands the body in a way I've never experienced. It was so therapeutic, so calming, so relaxing, simply blissful! The space was clear and well cared for, the entire staff was friendly and helpful, I ate lunch there and had two services, I enjoyed the hot tub and showers. It was the perfect place to spend a Sunday.

Incredibly responsive and pleasant workers, and such wonderful accommodations. The beds were extremely comfy!

Very nice stay love the shower

Wonderful Yoga classes every day. Wonderful food.

Not professional at all, hotel staff their poor but passing. Room is ok nothing special,Food is slightly better than hospital food. I won't be back even for free it was bad enough to get 2 stars just because the lights are on and atmosphere is nice but everything else is a fail.
Genie G.
The spa is very nice and I love the steam room. I go every month for a massage and the therapists are all very competent. However, this month, I had William - not so good. I have never had a massage therapist BS about working on a body part that was requested. William tells me "I'll get to it later", when I asked for attention to a certain area. It was not simply a forgetful mistake - I asked about it once during the massage and again when we were about to be finished and it did not appear that he was going to return to that area. His response was "oh, we will have to schedule it for next time" and "I thought I paid attention to that area already", Did he not tell me earlier that he will return to that area, and that he would "not leave me hanging"? As if I would return to him and schedule another session just so he can ignore my requests - this is after he begins the session by encouraging me to let him know where I needed extra focus. I did just that and he BS through it. In all my years of receiving massages, this is a first! So if you want a massage where the therapist BS you when you ask to spend extra time on a problem area, then ask for William.
Holli W.
Nice hotel. We reserved a king room and when we checked in were told that we were being upgraded to a suite. What they failed to say was that the suite had 1 queen bed. If we come back to Sedona, we'll try a different hotel.
Givelle L.
Here is a list of all the bad things I experienced at this wannabe upscale hotel: 1. AUTOMATIC RESORT FEE They say it's for internet, 2 bottles of water, coffee/tea (which comes free with all hotels these days). They say the resort fee is also for the electric car charger station (regardless of whether you use it or have a green vehicle). 2. LOCATION IS AVERAGE Sedona is a small space and there is not much walking distance from this hotel. Go stay somewhere central. You can see the red rocks from anywhere you stay. 3. PATIO IS OVER RATED The patio was one of the main reasons I wanted to stay here. The pictures are deceiving and while the rocks do look very close, the price to stay here isn't worth it if the customer service isn't up to par. 4. THE POOL DOESN'T GET SUNLIGHT & JACUZZI ISN'T THAT WARM It's nice that the pool is cleaned regularly but it gets no sunlight. The jacuzzi is also warm at best. Not really that hot. 5. DON'T BOOK A LATE TREATMENT AT THE SPA I booked the last appointment at the spa and when I came out the amenities were already shut down and I was rushed to leave. They kindly offered to waive the spa fee to use the amenities the next day but I was already leaving. 6. FEE FOR GOOGLE CHROME CAST They advertise high tech use of this fancy application for the TVs in their rooms but you must download the app on your phone and have a subscription to Netflix, Hulu, or whatever streaming app you want to use. Its not free although they charge you for this in their resort fee. 7. COUPONS FOR GHOST TOWN RESTAURANT/BAR They give you a coupon to use at their restaurant but it only applies if you spend a minimum which is pretty high if you're traveling solo or a couple and when you go to the restaurant there is nobody there other than the employees. 8. ALL EMPLOYEES LOOK LIKE THEY JUST GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL Every employee is so young and it's kind of sad how scared they look when you ask for an explanation of their policies. When I checked in, I was informed that I booked two rooms for one night. I said I only needed one room but they still made me pay for two although I only occupied one. The Ritz Carlton, the Four Seasons, or even the Westinn would never let that happen. There is never a manager around. When I checked in they said the manager was out and would be back at 7am. When I came back in the morning, he was out for lunch. When I finally did meet him, some guy named Ed Conway, he smelled like Nachos and looked bothered that I wanted to be refunded for the room I didn't occupy. 9. HOW YOU DO ANYTHING IS HOW YOU DO EVERYTHING This place is great if you are paying $100-ish but for the price point they charge this place is a wannabe upscale hotel.

Nice room, nice grounds, great spa.
Dave A.
Very attentive front desk. Rooms are nice but small for the price. Beautiful fountain. Small pool.
Jordan S.
Wonderful hotel with a equally wonderful spa. Located a out 10 from downtown with a Starbucks and grocery store near by.
Andy S.
Nice

Wonderful honeymoon stay. Perfect!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The decor was very cool and the view was pretty good for the location. My wife and I had a fantastic time. We definitely recommend this destination hotel in Sedona.

Very nice hotel, we were lucky enough to be there for a meteor shower, and they had a great presentation from an expert. Was not as clean as I would expect for the price we paid. Was a super location, and tremendously setup to be a great spot, but just didn't produce like I might expect. Still a good place to stay.
Rook M.
Very nice hotel. Comfy beds and the walk in shower was amazing! Tvs are big, room was very clean, and the refrigerator came in handy.
John . L.
This place is right in the middle of town but feels very secluded once you are on site. We used a booking service and accidentally booked for the wrong night but the desk staff was able to fix the problem thanks Damien! Our room was great the grounds are beautiful The View excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent also. I will be back!
Emily A.
Great location and gorgeous rooms. We stayed for several days and while we never used the spa, we definitely felt we got our money's worth. This was an excellent home base while we traveled through Arizona to see the sights.
Will T.
This is an amazing hotel! The have an observation deck to see the mountains, and a great view as well. If you like creme brulee, you'll love the restaurant that is connected to the hotel. The staff is really nice as well. The room we stayed in had a vaulted ceiling which was awesome. It also had sliding glass doors going out to a patio. Their tv's have Chromecast so you can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc from your phone.
Jackie W.
The restaurant and bar atmosphere was amazing! The bar tender (Ruby) made me feel incredibly welcome and I had the best time! I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone!
Susie M.
Restaurant has a vulgar bar tender. Bad energy

Great place to relax and enjoy what Sedona has to offer. Excellent restaurants and customer service.

Great hotel nestled into a lovely setting. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the pool and spa were excellent. Loved it!

Thanks it was a good experience excited everything so clean and staff nice and friendly

It's pretty and they are quick to make things more accommodating

We absolutely LOVE this hotel. Tonight has been our first stay here. We had dinner at the Redd, the food was AMAZING! everyone we have come across with are extremely welcoming and friendly. The room / restroom we have are clean and very well maintained. The beds are super comfortable. When we walked into the lobby we were welcomed by the front staff. Very professional and very friendly. The the roof top view is very pretty ?
Stephanie C.
Nice hotel, we stayed in the new part in the back very nice updated rooms. Food at the restaurant was good just remember to take your $10 off coupon for breakfast or dinner
Jen M.
Excellent! Customer service really shows here. Room was appropriately designed and up to trend. Large bathroom with double vanity but no bathroom lock. Chocolate bars on each bed pillow. Liked the fire pits at night along with the hot tub. We will be back next trip thru town.
Tyrone S.
Top notch

Rooms are beautiful! Views are awesome, perfect location. Staff is very friendly

Location is great. Front desk service is very friendly and helpful. A tad overpriced for what you get. But overall it's a nice place.

Great spa services and customer service!

Their staff is very rude and I would never recommend this place. I attempted to make a reservation for September. They accidentally put the dates wrong in their system, by 2 months. When they called me to say I missed check in and I explained it was their mistake they refused to own up to it and are attempting to keep my deposit. Their manager promised to call me back in 1 hour once I called them and he never called me back. When I reached back out to them I got a different person but same story. "we sent you a confirmation so it's your fault for not checking it so we are keeping your deposit". They finally agreed to apply it to my September stay but then raised the room rate and never sent me a confirmation for that date. Turns out they never sent me a confirmation for their mistaken July dates either. All I want is my deposit released and yet they keep coming up with excuses as to why they won't. Had they treated me respectfully in the beginning I would have understood everyone makes mistakes and stayed there in September, but throughout this process they have been very condescending and rude. I would never recommend staying here.
Mrs J.
Clean hotel. Dog friendly rooms are gorgeous! Pool could be bigger or maybe add a second one but other than that 3verything was amazing! Food.. drinks...firepit are as outside. Beautiful!
Dustin S.
Great place, lots of features. Excellent bar/resturant attached. On the quieter side of town not far from anything!
James A.
The room we booked in the Spa building had a broken air conditioner. Mgt did move us into a suite after several calls. We used the Spa for a couple's massage. It was quite pricey though but the masseuses were good. The pools and jacuzzi's are closed off too early at 10pm so that sucks since it was blistering hot out.
Candy M.
The GM Ed Conway is an uncompassionate man who cares more about a dollar than his guests! STAY ELSEWHERE! There are many beautiful resorts and spas in Sedona. La Auberge and Orchids Inn are two superior options!
Robert B.
wonderful experience
Matt V.
Stay this place. Decent restaurant attached, amazing views on the rooftop deck for a nighttime cocktail, accessible pool, and absolutely excellent staff. The member of the Front Desk when we checked in and gave us some excellent recommendations for hiking as well as scenic drives for those who can’t stand the heat. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Nottinghamgirlz
The general manager Ed is extremely customer focused. I raised a concern that I had regarding a recent stay and he exceeded my expectations with the way that he handled the issue. This alone will definitely ensure that I will be back to enjoy this beautiful resort. If you are able to squeeze in a massage I highly recommend it.
Mike S.
Mr. Ed Conway the general manager of the hotel was very professional with my concern about staying at the hotel. I could not make it in to stay a few weeks from now and he was willing to assist me in making sure my reservation was properly canceled. I appreciate his efforts along with Raul to make this happen. This was very professional of a hotel to work with and would recommend that to anyone.
Sunny M.
Great expirience. Clean and large room. Great A/C. Friendly staff, very nice property. Pool with food and cocktail service. Beautiful scenery. Didn't go into the restaurant, but the poolside food was decent.
Tami W.
This was our first time to stay in Sedona and we were very happy with this hotel. This 25 resort fee was uncalled for in my opinon for the price you pay for the hotel that stuff should just come with it. Although the hotel staff was amazing. They have a great service if you need anything u can text this which proves great when you have children along. I would stay here again despite the resort fee but would rather not pay for that.
Cecelia L.
Excellent servove

Awesome place to stay!

I wish somebody would have posted don't stay here and don't waste your money. I love a good quality hotel this is not it you walk into room and the sheets smell horribly a bleach. We left the 7:00 a.m. because of it. So you spend a couple $100 for the room then you check in and they charge you another $28 for water. Then they add another $100 just in case you want to spend money in the bar. The front desk as others have said there's not no customer service. And example is we did come early they ask for a phone number to call us when the room was redy 2 and a 1/2 hours later at 4:37 p.m. We walked up to the front desk and ask my nobody called as and they said they were too busy. When we asked in the morning why nobody call das in the issues we had with the sheets of my we're leaving early basically it was who really cares so if you're night staff and your day staff doesn't really care what kind of quality hotel do you have I agree Sedona is beautiful but there so many other hotels to stay the Hyatt looked awesome I should I went to my 1st instinct and went there don't go here just trust me don't go. I would never stay here again your two is over priced and smells.
Chelsey D.
I used to cheer for the Arizona Cardinals, and we stayed at Sedona Rouge during our time doing events up north. It has become even more beautiful since then with the renovations and accommodations. My husband and I absolutely LOVE staying at Sedona Rouge. The location is fantastic, the staff is incredibly helpful- above and beyond, and we feel relaxed in luxury. The master suite we've stayed in has a HUGE space with a kitchenette, area to dine and lounge, and the bedroom is massive with gorgeous artwork, fire places, and a spa-like bathroom. The waterfall shower and the bath tub are amazing! Plus, the rustic chic design is so warm and inviting. We can't wait to go back!

The staff was very friendly and professional. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We'll definitely go again!

The hotel has an attractive open space lobby with fountains and beautiful flowers. We had a lovely room with a view of the Red Rocks in the distance as we requested for our 3 night stay. There was an upcharge for the rear building which assured us we were not facing the main road. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Parking is free and very convenient. The downtown location was fine and made for a short drive to parkways to visit other areas. It was minutes by car to the main shopping area of downtown Sedona. Within the hotel is a nice spa. My husband and i had the couples massage which was very good. Reds Restaurant is also on the hotel property making it very convenient for an absolutely delicious breakfast. The menu has many selections to choose from and reasonably priced.. We also ate dinner there twice due to the convenience after a long day of sight seeing or golf which was arranged by hotel concierge. Food and service at Reds was very good. Everyone was polite and friendly. There even was live music during dinner. We played golf at Seven Canyons which was challenging and with unbelievable views. It's a private club, but we were treated like members. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we highly recommend the Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa for value and quality.
Lauren P.
Nice enough, no free breakfast, poorly designed shower, terrace was booked every night we stayed

Beautiful place to stay
Gleeful T.
Beautiful hotel. Restaurant is fabulous.

Enjoyed the stay at Sedona Rouge. Booked on whim while driving to Sedona. Rates are alright the property is beautiful and well maintained. Enjoyed the entry way / main lounge area at night with the patio heaters. Parking is convient and property is close to downtown. Quiet place at night, rooms do have fairly thin walls so when maintenance, cleaning people or people just talking in the lobby it can be heard. Overall enjoyed this place.
Julia S.
I only went to the spa for a facial, did not stay at the hotel. My facial was very pricey ($120 for an hour), but you get what you pay for here. The spa was extremely luxurious, with staff accommodating for all imaginable needs (steam room, jacuzzi, showers, tea, etc.). My esthetician, Chizuko, was amazing! She was not only very knowledgeable, but had a genuine, down-to-earth personality that is hard to find in the spa world. She also has a deep love for Sedona and the natural world, and it was clear that she takes a holistic approach to her treatments and skincare advice. I would definitely recommend getting a facial here.
Melissa S.
We loved our room, it’s a distance from downtown Sedona so you’ll need a car, this is probably why it is affordable. We were very disappointed with our 120.00 massages, don’t waste your time at the spa. The steam room was broken and the massages were awful. I have a bruise on my shoulder and my husbands “therapist” had the roughest, dry gross hands and the kicker was when she started the “karate chop” technique that you see in the movies on him! Not worth 40$ Let alone 240.00 plus tip!! Our waitress down in the restaurant left us sitting on the roof for twenty minutes, we canceled plans to stay in and eat at Redsband had to find somewhere else to eat on an Friday night, which wasn’t easy. We tried talking to our front desk when checking out and only received a “hmm” noise. Thanks a lot for caring. I would rather spend more elsewhere next time.

Nice resort right on the main street through town. Safeway next door is a bonus. Comfortable rooms with great beds. Could use more hooks in the bathroom, and there's a gap between the vanity and the wall that is irritating because my toiletries keep getting knocked down it. Reds restaurant is very good and reasonably priced for Sedona.

Beautiful hotel

This place is a really good value. Excellent access to the actual town of Sedona and about a mile from hiking trails.
Geoffrey G.
Very nice rooms, and priced decently give or take a couple fees. I would stay here again.
Dan J.
Lovely hotel. Staff went above and beyond for us during our stay. Recommend to anything staying in the Sedona area. Special thanks to Mario ????

We had a GREAT stay at Sedona Rouge. I booked it on a whim, since its was much more reasonable than many Sedona properties yet had a very central location. It was clean, rooms were large, and staff was on point. Plenty of parking, very quiet, and mountain views from our window. The central courtyard was really welcoming a great spot to hang out in. Wifi was flawless. I took an incredible run on Sedona hiking trails starting from the hotel one morning; my wife got a massage from the Spa and said it was the best massage she ever had! The on-site Reds restaurant was really nice as well. Hands-down the best included breakfast I have ever had (just don't forget to tip your server as well). We had drinks and apps there in the evenings and it was splendid.

Beautiful place staff really nice

It was nice! The staff was very accommodating! However you could hear everytime someone closed their doors because they all slammed and the house keeping carts we're really loud as they went by.
Ravi K.
Good location. Fireplace in room was nice. Temperature control was an issue in room.
Sonia K.
Just a simple, warm hotel - great service and breakfast - 2 kids eat free. Spa is yet tbd!
Craline R.
Sedona Rouge is a wonderful place to stay during the winter. Much of the hotel with the exception of the check in desk, the rooms, and the restaurant are all outside in an open air hotel. Wonderful decorations, the hotel is kept very clean in all areas and has plenty of accommodations.

Nice hotel with renovated BIG rooms, cozy, clean, check inn was easy and fast, they really want you to have a great time, ask for extra perks (spa & reataurant dct), I will definitively return not only for the experience, price is right and great location

Nice hotel, but not considered resort.

Absolutely terrific. My wife and I stayed here two nights on our honeymoon and it was phenomenal. The service and staff were excellent, the room was incredible, and the amenities were great. We had a room facing the main road and it was incredibly quiet. Would highly recommend

Enjoyed lunch at Reds.

Fantastic restaurant with lovely food. Our problem was that as we were the last customers, the staff cleared up all around up, laying the tables for breakfast and blowing the candles out. This really spoilt our enjoyment of an otherwise good meal.
Shannon G.
Amazing rooms, very friendly staff

Front desk is very friendly and informative worked with dDamian. The Reds resturant Quesadillas are excellent with carne asada. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Overall a nice place to stay.

Simply amazing place! Highly recommend. However, the restaurant on site was not too impressive with the food. The food needs a serious revamping.

Do NOT stay at this hotel unless you want fraudulent charges on your Credit Card!! I was charged over $200 for damages done to a chair that were obviously already there when we arrived and they continue to blame on our party. They have claimed that we scribbled all over a cushion and tried to hide it. They have claimed we left chairs stacked when it was obviously done by house keeping in order to vacuum. They are liars and they will continue to push this on other guests. The damage done to this chair was obviously done by a child and not a group of 30+ year old women. I have called repeatedly and sent emails and the senior manager will not revert back or even return a call!! The house keeping manager then proceeded to claim that the hotel did not charge for the "excessive cleaning" they had to do, which should not even be brought up seeing that i paid over $1,200 for this room and cleaning is part of their job! obviously not a well done job as they did not check for coloring done on this chair!!! Everyone at SEDONA ROUGE should be ashamed and they are LIARS and a bunch of thieves!!!!!

Good food and the resort is great

Great rooms, service and food. Friendly staff.

Location is picturesque. Was here for a cocktail hour prior to a wedding so we were on the rooftop terrace and it was stunning. The people working and passing out small bites were very friendly. It was a wonderful evening.

Our 49th anniversary stay was july 21st. What a disappointment. There is nothing positive to say about this property. Run the other way, do not believe the reviews. It is an old disgusting run down property. I have had more exciting rooms at Motel 6 for $40 night. Our sink was stopped up, ac leaked water, the furniture was shop worn, tired and beat up. My wife did like her pillow. Management did not care at all about the problems. Do not believe the reviews. The pool, spa were equally bad. My wife would not get in the pool, but I tried the hot tub and quickly jumped out when the jets came on the suds and scum that came out were more than I could handle. I am qulified to make these harsh comments about a crumming property like this beacuse I stay in hotel rooms 200 nights a year and this is one of the worst ones I have encountered. I usually check out if their this bad, but my wife was so upset I decided to stay and try to make the best of it, what a huge mistake. I hope you do not make the same mistake I did. Do not BOOK at this property.
Ben B.
We went to Sedona Rouge for spa treatments... I had Yoko who was incredible and my other half had Mallory who was also incredible. I have been to half a dozen spas in Sedona and keep going back to Sedona Rouge as it's just the best, I think they really vetted their therapists out to make sure that they provide the best massage in Sedona... I'd rank them up with the Esalen Institute (truly the world's best) and The Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok (also incredible)...
Marcos S.
Great overall
Jared A.
Nice rooms, clean and maintained areas. Internet is roughly 35Mbps so pretty decent. Tucked away from the main road so it feels cozy, without being in the middle of nowhere.

Fantastic location. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

The staff was awesome, and the place is amazing!

The staff was super friendly, everyone was fantastic!

The Sedona Rouge is beautiful from the minute you turn into the parking. Very close to a lot of great restaurants nearby, with its own restaurant included. The main area of the hotel houses a gorgeous fountain, comfortable lounge seating, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was beautiful. We were able to get into a room with its own patio, with access to the pool from our patio. The bed was big and comfy, the bathroom was awesome with a side showerhead and a ceiling showerhead, and our room included a small office with computer and printer. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and the restaurant had an awesome selection of delicious food, wines, and specialty drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nicest room I've ever stayed in!
Dozy
The Sedona Rouge was a splendid stay. The room was a good price, it was up to date and very clean. The shower was large with a shower head on the side and on the roof. The spa was lovely with great amenities. The service was friendly, helpful and competent. We ate at REDS which had a large selection of wine and it was delicious food.
Gail H.
Good food and wine selection. Very nice piano music. Attentive wine manager and a good crowd.
Rachael S.
This is a wonderful, relaxing hotel that gets you away from it all. Our room faced North, towards the red rock formations, which made it even better. The room also had an overhead shower head for a rain-like experience. The hotel staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. We enjoyed the pool, even though it was small and shallow. The Jacuzzi is also very relaxing. Check out the rooftop lounge area for a fun place to stargaze! We would definitely stay here again.
Kelsey S.
GREAT HOTEL! The price was great but the hotel itself was great too! I am very skeptical of all hotels so I am very quick to judge as far as food, cleanliness etc. The hotel was very clean. The shower/tub setup was a bit quirky but that happens sometimes with renovations. You got free breakfast every day including coffee AND alcoholic beverages. We were floored when we found out on the last day that the mimosas and bloody mary's were included!!! The breakfasts were also not the typical buffet or waffles. It was the full breakfast menu with eggs Benedict, omelettes, burritos, etc. You also get a free app every night of your stay and they have 5 dollar house wines for happy hour so we did that every night. The food was not "hotel" food - It was fresh and I am pretty sure I read it is all locally sourced. NOT what I was expecting. By the pool they have servers and ice water at the ready. The hotel is located off of a "main" road but there is a large water feature in the middle of the public area that really drowns out any cars or outside noise that may have been heard. The ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil. If I HAD to come up with a negative I would say the pool was a LITTLE small and a LITTLE dated but that is really me reaching.
Asif A.
Was given a Pathetic room with AC not working. Slept through the first night to be given another room on request to check the temperature. Second room was full of insects - spiders., etc although it was much newer and cooler in the 115 az heat. A below average swimming pool, pathetic gym which is useless, kid only breakfast, a chlorine smelling fountain, below average in room cleaning, free "appetizer"'available only to patrons who visit their empty restaurant. And a "resort fee" for no resort amenities. This is not even close to a 3 star place. Find better accommodation elsewhere, for the the $200 a day you will end up spending here. Plus they insist on checkout at 11. On request from manager it is 12. Absurd to say the least.
Diego P.
Excellent room. Great restaurant below.

I've been coming to Sedona for years and can't believe I've missed this great gem.
Ivan R.
Clean upscale room with excellent service all around
Mark M.
I was fooled by the really high reviews of Sedona Rouge. Perhaps this makes me an outlier, or perhaps my experience was just out of the ordinary. First, the prices here are high AND they charge and absurd daily $25 resort fee. I realize this is not unusual. What is unusual is when a "resort" charges this "resort fee" and there aren't really any "resort amenities" to speak of. For example, I assumed Sedona Rouge had a big, beautiful pool with ample lounging chairs, perhaps a waterfall. Nope. Teeny tiny super disappointing pool. At a super pricey "resort." Also, lots of other folks also talk about views, and I'm not sure what their referring to. Compared to the other hotels in the area, the views here are pretty non-existent. I also think this is a significant timeshare property and I got the impression that they prioritize timeshare guests more than they do regular guests. We opted for a king room in their newly renovated Almeria building. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, super clean, and well appointed. The large soaking tub was a nice addition as was the sitting area on the patio. But again, the going rates are far above what you're getting for the price. Lastly, the guy who checked us in seemed truly inconvenienced that we had arrived prior to 4pm. He seemed aghast when we asked if there were any chance that our room would be ready before four. And we inquired if he'd call or text us when room was ready, he said he'd "try.". Of course, no call or text came, so we can to keep checking in. Really disappointing. I recommend you consider other properties in Sedona.
Barrett B.
Our stay was very comfortable. The beds were nice, the facility was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
Mark M.
Love the view from the new rooms! Pool area was great. Would highly recommend. Restaurant at Hotel was just ok, but staff and service was fantastic.
Henry R.
Stayed in a Spa room. Jetted tub IN the room, fridge, comfy bed, plenty of parking, great location (walking to Coffee Pot, grocery store, Pisa Lisa), on-site restaurant Reds is pretty good too.
M C H.
Our friend that lives there recommended the Sedona Rouge. We arrived tired but couldn't have been presented with a more exquisitely decorated room. Comfortable surroundings, custom furniture, double sinks, which was especially helpful since I was staying with a lady friend. We took some wine out on the patio, called our local friend, we didn't want to leave! The view was heavenly, Red Rocks, a garden, fire pit, designer lighting...they thought of everything! I promise, we didn't care if we went into town! This place is an oasis created by GM, Ed Conway, whom we got to meet (he was working on a Sunday!), he's the most conscientious, caring gentleman watching over every facet of the operation. So refreshing to meet someone with such heart! Like ripples going out on the water, he makes sure that each detail: service, quiet, rest, all that you need, is there for an elevated, sublime experience. Sedona Rouge will most assuredly make beautiful memories of your trip to this stunning area. We can't wait to go back! MCH, former host for Clint Eastwood

We always felt welcome. Aaron, Missy, and John were the most hospitable people in the state and everyone was soooooo nice!

Reds has excellent food!

I had my wedding in Sedona about a month ago and stayed here and it was beautiful. I also arranged to have my wedding dinner at the REDS restaurant and let me tell you they were so accommodating reasonable with pricing unlike every other restaurant we attempted to set up a reservation. They went above and beyond setting up the diner and decorations and the food was quite amazing as well. Thank you to chef Shawn and all the wonderful staff for an amazing wedding experience
Ava B.
Room is great, the double sinks are super helpful. The staff has been so so so helpful with getting us on tours and answering our millions of questions.
Matt L.
Great place. The rooms were great, the views were great. The staff was great
Monica S.
Very comfortable beds, and good ament. Very limited view. Located off of the main street through Sedona, convenient but not remote, can hear traffic on grounds.
Philip M.
Service was very good. Food was not. Had the special of the evening (ribs) and they were quite dry and tough.
Jong L.
The new wing with the new rooms are great! They have two sinks and really well laid out. We were a bit hesitant driving in as it's next to the main street, but was pleasantly surprised.

Great place!!! Really cool staff and amenities! Jacuzzis were great and a Safeway is right across the street too :)

GLORIFIED MOTEL - We made an online reservation for Sedona Rogue hotel for two rooms for three nights from December 30th,2016 – January 2, 2017. Our plan was to spend New Year’s eve at the Hotel given the amazing reviews for the Hotel. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. While checking us in,The front desk person says we could 'LOAD UP' on the starters at the restaurant the next day by handing over coupons to us. I don't think that's a right way to speak to a customer. We took the elevator, which had the smell of mold. After we entered the rooms, both of them had a damp, mold like smell and we could not stay there for even for few minutes. AC wall unit in one of the rooms was above the bathroom and it was vibrating and was making a very loud noise. Those rooms are impossible to sleep in. The couch and mattress smell of mold inside the rooms. Upon learning what we think about the rooms, The hotel manager did not have a friendly tone and talked to us in a very condescending manner. He ridiculed us for calling Expedia and not talking to them directly. He had no intention whatsoever to make the situation right for the Customer. We decided to leave, and they showed us two other rooms in a different building. The two new rooms were not up to our complete satisfaction but at least they did not have a weird smell. We agreed to move and that’s when the manager said we need to pay an additional $40 per room per night for a total of $240 for three nights. He mentioned these are upgraded rooms and we need to pay a higher premium, which caught us by surprise. This was in addition to the $180 we already paid that night for resort fees, which was in addition to initial payment. The staff shows no signs of responsibility to make the situation right for the customer. We ultimately had to leave the Hotel the same night - still fighting to get my money back! DO NOT STAY AT THIS GLORIFIED MOTEL .

Nice hotel with very good on site restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Clean and peaceful resort feel. The staff here stood out the most as they were really amazing!

I'm a local here in Sedona, and I eat at Sedona Rouge Spa and Hotel Reds Restaurant often. The food is consistently great and the service is alway excellent.
Slyk N.
homey stay and great service the rooms were clean and layer out beautifully. our room wasn't ready when we arrived but they compensated us with free drinks and apps.

Super Restaurant, REDS

Great hotel. Would stay here again!

The menu is excellent here; good selection of healthy choices and lots of variety. Our server was wonderful. Like being served by your (loving) mother. Our children ordered off of the adult menu which should have excluded them from the free breakfast deal offered by the hotel, but she waved that for us which made our kids feel special. The food was fresh and expertly done. Very satisfied.

Great place!

Great food and service
Olin R.
Wonderful high-end hotel/resort with a world class spa.
Daniel G.
Great, but no charging options on or near the nightstand is odd for a hotel of this caliber.
David K.
Beautiful rooms, great service and amazing views. A great value for staying in Sedona
Joshua C.
Rooms are nice and the view is excellent
Tyler S.
The hotel was very nice with a delicious hotel restaurant next to the lobby. At night they have gas firepits that you can sit around and have a couple drinks. They also have wine tour packages through the hotel that are a blast. You get to see the surrounding area and the driver was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. I highly recommend a stay here.
Samuel B.
Stayed in the spa suite! Didn't want to leave.
Nicholas H.
Good place, I come here every time I stay in Sedona

Update: Sedona Rouge reached out and allowed us to apply the gift card balance to our room fee so I've changed my review to 3 stars. While we did enjoy the hotel itself I hope the hotel improves its training procedures concerning gift cards and I wish I didn't have to post a review in order for this to be resolved properly. Origin review: We were gifted a $150 gift card for the Sedona rouge hotel so we decided to spend a weekend in Sedona. During checkin the concierge told us the gift card could be applied to the room fee, but they refused to honor that during checkout and claimed it could only be used for the spa. This was never mentioned at any point during the gift card purchase or checkin. When I mentioned that the concierge from the previous day told us it could be applied to the room fee he said, "well that employee must not have known that". All in all very dishonest and unprofessional and we won't be returning.

It's really nice

Great views and services

We stayed in this hotel and liked it so much we decided to come back and stay another night. The first time we stayed in the older part of the hotel. The old spanish style was paired with modern upsacle linens and open fireplace. The second night we were placed in the new part of the hotel. The room was nice with more of a modern feel. We did run into a few issues the second night including no refrigerator in the room, dirty water glasses and non-functional lights. Our first evening at the hotel was so great, that I would still rate this a 5 out of 5 and stay again.
Kent W.
Food was ok, but expensive. Mia the manager was rude, not good food, skimpy....
Gabriel F.
Excellent service, the Spa was the best part of our trip, great room and comfortable bed, excellent mountain views from the room...
Gregory B.
Great location, comfortable rooms, amazing bathrooms, delicious restaurant. Highly recommend!
Russ H.
Great bang for the buck. Good restaurant and service was attentive to our every need. We took advantage of the spa and would recommend. My wife and I had a great experience.
Kelly N.
The spa was fantastic and the hotel is very nice.
Gina B.
The rooms are spacious, clean, great location, everyone is extremely friendly and very helpful.
Derek
Room is nice but has a kinda funky smell, but it's clean. Wife got a massage and said it was really great. All the staff has been super nice and helpful.
David & Kelly J.
Completely overrated. They charge an addition "resort" tax and this is far from a resort. With taxes it was $380 for a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday. We checked out early to stay at the Marriott Courtyard (only opened 3 weeks ago) which was much nicer, better amenities, and significantly cheaper! The spa was nice but the prices were pretty high and they did not provide the services for the full hour we signed up for. My husband wanted to speak to a manager the next day but we were told that he would not be in until the next day and the general manager probably couldn't help us...seriously!? Would not stay here for future travels and if you're smart, you wouldn't either.
Andy B.
Finding dog-friendly hotels for our road trip wasn't easy, but we lucked out with the Sedona Rouge and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in this beautiful area. The prices were fair, the room was clean and every single interaction I had with members of staff were excellent - everyone was happy to help me and make sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and well kept. We'll be back!
Kathy C.
Hotel was lovely, clean, very luxurious. Staff was over the top helpful and Friendly.
Mark H.
Clean, upscale room, easy access to the downtown. Vouchers for Reds restaurant were worthwhile.
Alec C.
Really spectacular place! Edgar (Concierge) was a wealth of information and helped us plan our entire trip while in Sedona. He is very knowledgeable on the best local hikes and restaurants. He suggested we take a Pink Jeep tour on Broken Arrow and it was a blast! I would recommend Sedona Rouge and Edgar to my friends and family! 10/10

We stayed here for our wedding. It is very cute and has alot of character, restaurant is really good, staff is friendly, views are beautiful. We had 1 experience that marred our stay. When we came back the room after our wedding, room had not been cleaned, bed was unmade. Dirty towels had been removed and not replaced. They had dropped off a bottle of champagne and fruit ordered fo us by a friend and whoever did that didn't mention that the room was a mess. They did get it cleaned the next morning and said, "I'll make sure to yell at the housekeeping staff" which does not do anythig to fix he situation. Too little too late.
Rob M.
We had an enjoyable stay.
Elaine M.
We stayed here for a friend's wedding in town. It's a cute, boutique style hotel. The location is good, with many good restaurants in walking distance. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the room was nice. The bed was super comfortable. I only gave it four stars instead of 5 because the room didn't seem well insulated and we could hear all the noises from guests in the hall and courtyard. If you're a really light sleeper who likes to go to bed on the early side, it's probably not the best place for you. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.
Isaac S.
Wonderful rooms, and helpful staff make for a relaxing stay. The roof top terrace is great for star watching and the spa massages are excellent.
Don B.
Excellent food! Service was great! Some of the best pizza around. Lovely place for food, drinks and entertainment!
Tabitha S.
Clean and well maintained. Mountain view is hidden.
Kyle B.
Location of room at the back of the Spa building was ok, view could have been better. Service was great, prompt and courteous. Environment and culture of hotel was awesome.
Seth M.
Excellent service, great pool and jacuzzi, and sleeps well.
Lisa M.
It is 110 degrees today and this hell hole only has a wall AC unit. I was sweating in the shower. Since we are discussing the shower, there was no tub. My 4 year old slipped in the shower as there was not mat and nothing but slippery tile. My husband just bought a fan at the local store as it is SO HOT IN HERE. We asked for a fan from the front desk and they did bring one. It moved zero air and sound like an old VW bug. Please do not stay here. I have not idea who is rating this place over one star. I am calling AAA in the morning.
Laura S.
We stayed only one night room was gorgeous everyone there was really friendly we did have dinner and drinks at Reds and the food was wonderful will definitely go back for a longer stay
Frank T.
Went to review room rates. Was given a card with manager's name. Really? Clerks can't quote room rates? Prentious and silly.
Chris B.
Technology issues led to a reservation issue. General manager was completely inflexible and rude. Do not stay here.
Brooke G.
When we arrived we were greeted and happily escorted to the beautiful newly renovated rooms and we snuggled under the crisp white sheets to dream of the wonders that were sure to show themselves during our long weekend in Sedona! We had a beautiful patio off our room - view of the red rocks was stunning! The location of the hotel is AMAZING and right in the heart of things. One night we even walked to a wine bar! REDS restaurant was tasty, the view from the rooftop was cool, the pool is lovely and the SPA was dynamite!! The new rooms are enormous, well appointed and beautifully decorated - the bathrooms were just as nice! (We had a double so didn't get the lovely tub unfortunately - that was my only regret!) I would highly recommend Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa for girls getaways, friends trips and romantic getaways!!
Dave M.
The views were spectacular and the service was even better. We will definitely be returning. A quiet and relaxing getaway. Ask about airport drive views. It's a must see and relatively close to the resort.
Jennie L.
Great room. Great location. Would come back
Antonio H.
Loved this place. Best services ever. The spa was incredible.
Scott S.
Well run and elegant property. Close to central Sedona. Great restaurant on the property.
John D.
Stellar room and service.
Greg D.
Had problems with the room. Waiting for manager to address.

Big place, a ton to do. Food was ok, but I'm picky about what I eat.

I like the rooms But hot tube wasn't warm. I'm from oregon and was looking forward being outside in hot spa and stars. and You can do yoga in morning but be there 15 min early. I went ten and missed the class. The restaurant has great wine and food. Front desk was so nice. ealry
Justin H.
Worst hotel ever tons of unknown charges and zero mountain views do not stay here
Ilias B.
The place was nice and clean. The staff are very unprofessional. Charged me twice for erroneously.
Hernandez A.
The room was nice with fireplace, high ceilings and the Reds Restaurant was great! Walk in shower with glass doors very clean. But... awful outdated tv, and the ac/heater unit is just nailed above the bathroom door! Thats a Motel 6 unit!
Michael B.
Nice place. Some of the staff wasn't the most accommodating, however, I'd give it another try.
Lanie K.
Really well kept and the staff is really attentive!
Lynn Y.
The Sedona Rouge Resort and Spa did not live up to it's name. While adequate, it was more like a high quality motel than a resort. Cleanliness was average. The beautiful view was non existent. Our patio was surrounded by a high wall and if you stood on the chair, you could view the Safeway shopping center. If you're looking for a "resort" this is definitely not it.
Nicholas L.
The service desk representative Spencer was extremely rude and made me divulge my disability information before staying. I contacted Ed Conway who was no help in the matter. Terrible customer service and terrible people running the hotel.
Patrick G.
Service was sub par, front desk staff was friendly but not terribly service-oriented. I stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon. Wished we hadn't felt rushed out on our day of checkout. We received no thank you note or prior notification the night before, and were promptly bombarded by a tacky phone call and room service just after 11 o'clock on our check out day. Felt more like "kick you out of your room" service. Gym is small and has only a weight bench and few treadmills. Spa is unremarkable though missouse staff was friendly and did a good massage on my wife and I; it was very pricey and not nearly up to par with the ambiance and service of a place like Burke Williams. Observation deck was too bright for stargazing and we were ripped off by the concierge who hooked us up for a Pink Jeep Tour at more than 3X the price than that offered downtown. My advice: spend a little more to stay at an actual resort or signicantly less to stay at an Inn or Motel with Canyon views. This place sells itself online as a resort, but is really more on par with your average Marriott. No Canyon views either; obstructed by a large and gentrified Safeway shopping center.
Colleen R.
I've been a customer for 10 years at Sedona Rouge. Every summer we anticipate our 2 night stay as part of our 2 week family vacation. My kids have built 10 years of memories at this hotel so we are sad to know that Sedona Rouge has increased their prices so dramatically this year. Fortunately the Hyatt and a few other highly recommended resorts are priced at what Sedona Rouge was in previous years so we can continue to spend a couple days in Sedona. Sad to end our memory-making with you Sedona but we just can't justify paying such a steep price increase.
Laura L.
We loved it and will make it our hotel of choice whenever we visit Sedona.
Jared B.
Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Not all rooms have views, and the new construction was distracting. Great place for dogs, but I was woken up by people walking in the room above us. It was very loud. Good morning coffee and a nice bath makes this a four star experience, but I had hoped for all five.
Shea K.
had a great experience staying there. from friendly staff to clean rooms. love the views.
Tony P.
clean room, on the parking lot. Currently upgrading premises, although lacking brand identity. Service is fair.

I'd been looking forward to staying at the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa since last August when we did the photography for a wedding at the Hotel. During my check in, I appreciated Jake and his help but didn't appreciate Barbara's attitude and her answering questions in what I thought was a rude manner, I had asked Jake. I was also advised at the desk that an additional $100.00 would be added to the Debit card/my bank for "incidentals" . The most I've ever paid for incidentals up front like that was $20.00 for an 1100 sq foot suite, at NY NY in Las Vegas. From there, it got worse at their restaurant, Reds. I've never had to cut Meat Loaf with a Steak Knife before and I didn't like the taste. The server asked me if I'd like something else to eat, however, she didn't advise the manager, and never let the chef know their client didn't like the food. The hotel room was dark and nothing like I thought it'd be for the price and reputation. When I checked out this morning, early, the man at the desk, barely spoke and wasn't at all friendly. For the price, I'd recommend staying at the Best Western up the road and I would not waste my money or time at their Restaurant, Reds...

I kept hearing "No..." -- one of the most impolite hotel manager I've ever spoken with. I set-up a reservation to have a few friends of mine stay there as a gift. My friends never stayed due to unforeseen personal /family matters; Because of the circumstances they forgot to call the hotel /myself and cancel /move the reservation. The following day my wife received the email 'Thanks for your stay...' and called our friends to then find out they never stayed at the hotel -- they forgot :( We immediately called the hotel, anticipating the accommodation for our situation, but all we kept hearing was "No..." The manager mentioned how it was our fault, suggested our guest pay for it, and there is nothing he can do, so sorry... (went on for 10 minutes) The hotel seems like a beautiful, quaint place to stay, however, The Management Was Extremely Discourteous... 0% hospitality service.
Mari N.
My husband, son & I stayed there in mid December. The place was wonderful. Unfortunately, we all got altitude sickness & to add to that my husband hurt his back. We had to stay a lot in the hotel however it felt very homey, comfortable & having a fireplace in the room helps when your sick. =) The people who work there were very nice & the morning bagels were awesome. They clean the room twice a day when we weren't sick in bed. I miss the cleaning ladies, they had our rooms so clean.

We just got back from a long weekend at Sedona Rouge, and I was very happy with my choice of hotels. It was an all-around A+ experience. From Daniel, the sales manager welcoming us personally, to JJ, the concierge who had all the right recommendations for food and activities, the staff were excellent. The rooms were very comfortable, the food at Reds (the hotel restaurant/bar) was excellent, and my wife said it was one of the best massages she has ever had. Everything was clean and well-cared for, IMO. We had a group of 15 total, and not one of us had anything bad to say about our stay. The only relatively minor issue was that the bar closes around 9:30 (like most of Sedona from what I could tell), which was a bit early for our group but was probably a plus in the long run. I would stay there again any time. Thanks again Daniel and JJ!
Thomas G.
I have never been spoken to as rudely as I was spoken to by the "manager" of this resort. There was an issue when we arrived and his way of helping was to inform us that and this is a quote...." that's your problem, not mine. We already charged your card for the night." Unbelievable don't ya think? I left.
Naveen K.
My wife arranged this as a birthday trip for me. She talked to almost every hotel in town and was telling the names as we rolled by into the town. But, THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. I have had a fabulous birthday. There is a great spiritual significance to the place as it lies right next to the Heart Chakra. You can see that Heart setting in stones very beautifully set right outside the compound. No wonder, the staff are super friendly and very nice. We loved the whole experience from the concierge on the phone prior to arrival, the front desk, the bellman, the housekeeping, the spa... OMG, and ofcourse the Reds restaurant. That is pretty much where we ate all the 3 days. Tips: Look up Luxury Link and you will get a great combo kind of deal, where you get lots of goodies like food at Reds, Spa, Yoga and welcome drinks all wrapped into it... and most of all the rooms with the most amazing view facing the Red Rocks. You cant beat that.
Jenny L.
I've been to the Sedona Rouge Spa twice. The first time was for their volcanic rock body treatment and facial. They were both pretty incredible, and the women were so sweet. An older woman performed the body treatment, and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time since I had told her I'd never been in for a massage before. The treatment was incredible. In the end I was so incredibly relaxed. I felt great. The second time at the Spa was for a couples massage. The couples massage is kind of silly, because you are in the same room as your partner but they are far enough away that they may as well not be there at all. You are not laying side by side (at least not in the room they put us in). I had requested 2 female, but ended up with one man and one women which made me feel a bit uncomfortable (I got the man). This may be my own fault though, because we were stuck in traffic due to an accident and were late for our appointment by about 30 min. I'm planning another trip back to this spa for the same lava rock body treatment again. It's pricey.. but worth it.
Darren R.
A great stay there. The breakfast is quite good. I loved the jalapeño french toast.
Brewster M.
They apply a 100 dollar deposit when using a debit card.
