Best place ever!!
We had a king bed room that faced the water. The swim area at the lake is really disappointing. You can't go deeper than chest high. The pool was fine but very crowded most of the time and often they didn't have enough towels to accommodate everyone. The lake itself is private, which means there are loads of restrictions. You cannot do anything in the water unsupervised, including kayaks. The biggest problems come from the room itself and some of the service we received. The entire resort smells like mildew and we quickly realized why. I found mold in our bathroom. The carpet was extremely stained. I saw splatters on the wall that looked like blood. Worst of all the bathroom was infested with ants. Despite all of this we tried to have a good time and I booked a massage at the spa. The front desk at the spa and my massage therapist were extremely rude. The room in which I received my massage was freezing cold. To the point where my massage therapists hands and arms were extremely cold. So trying to put the rudeness aside I still could not enjoy my massage. Nobody asked if I enjoyed my service and when I left a tip at the front desk the man said "that's it?" I felt so unwelcome the entire time, then with that comment, I was speechless. I am a person with high anxiety and this was so uncomfortable and awkward. Really don't recommend this place.

I was going for 4 until last night. So let's start from the beginning. - Staff: kind and helpful. - Cleanliness: Good - Maintenance : Needs a lot of work. Our bed post wes ripped from a spot (wish I could have taken pictures) , curtains, ancient. - Elivator: Always in a rush to close so be very careful. - Activities: Great to have the lake access and jacuzzi. - Smores: well they said they provide smores but you got to have your own kit, your own marshmallows chocolate and all. They will set the fire for you. - Eesturaunt: Over priced but fortunately right next to you is the Village and there are a lot of varieties. OK that's it. We had a fun weekend.
Such a beautiful experience in such an awesome setting! We will definitely be returning here with our family!
Really nice ????????
Service needs big improvement Asap
Nice get away
100% would not stay here again. In fact, I'm ending my stay here early as this place is dilapidated. The door locks that can only be locked from the inside- well it closed over as we left the room. Thankfully the maintenance guy was able to open it pretty easily- the wear marks on the door tell me he's had practice. Unfortunately this also means the locks are not secure and can be opened from the outside. The worn furniture and peeling wallpaper do give it a rustic feel however the dripping water and mold are a little more rustic than I signed on for. Oh and the waitress was super awesome when she told us they won't accept reservations and they also won't seat us.

Love this resort! Enjoyed 4 days here. The service is exceptional! Ruth at the frontdesk is Amazing. She went above & beyond & made sure my stay was pleasant. I have never received such great service from a front desk like Ruth! :) Deming the restaurant manager gives exceptional service, I was impressed with him. Heath, the sous chef came out to greet guests at the restaurant which was a treat. Chelsea at the coffee shop was a delight, always bubbly & cheerful! Aaron, the beverage & food manager was a delight to meet too. All the employees at this resort are pleasant, attentive & professional - A Great Example of Customer Service. I loved Everything about this resort: location is next to the lake offering beautiful & relaxing views, spacious, clean & comfy room, delicious food from the resort restaurant, stylish rustic chic decor, GREAT Service from EVERYONE, walking distance to the Alpine Village. I really enjoyed my stay & I'm looking forward to a return trip :) Thank you Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa!!
Great Ruth at front desk very helpful. We enjoy being here, relaxing
Nice hotel on the lake.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Check in takes an eternity! I am currently 5 month pregnant and have been waiting for over half an hour for our room to be ready. ????
The overpriced “lakeside/lake view” room offered a great view of the carport/condo next door with a little peak of the lake. The loud, creaky ceiling, thin walls, large wet spot in the middle of the floor & construction was enough for us to check out early. The pool is very small for the amount of guests especially because the lake is private, and access is extremely limited to non-residents. Overall, the cost to stay is not reflected in the quality of the accommodations.
Very nice experience and so close to home! I have been to other resorts and really feel that Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa delivered a relaxing, fun, and family friendly time ?? The amenities were fantastic and enjoyed my complimentary drinks from bin189 and the Cafe shop. I must say that the rooms were ok and the resort could benefit from putting working ( emphasize on the "working")mini fridges in the rooms. However, I will definitely be back!
Gorgeous views. Quiet cool breeze. $$$
Great view of the lake from the room. A tub is not expected in a handicapped room. The footboard connection brackets on the bed were hard on the legs when you hit them.
Excellent getaway with great service and relaxing views, amazing pool and Jacuzzis overlooking the lake.
A beautiful resort. Spectacular views and a beautiful place. Will be back.
Lovely getaway location and very pleasant stay
Lauren's massage was magical. I went in with a really sore swollen knee (way too much dancing on an already bum knee at my sons wedding) She worked on it gently and the next day it was back to being my normal bum knee. She has the healing ability to find the knots and tight areas and get them to release. If I were a gazillionaire I would hire hire to be mine and my moms personal therapist! Thank you Lauren. Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa is lucky to have your talent.
Beautiful. Clean. Gorgeous views. Treacherous drive on the 18.
For almost $300 a night you get a dingy room with wallpaper pealing from the walls and paint peeling from the banister on the patio. Should be more like a $59 super 8 special.
Ruth at reception was fantastic
Our family spent the night at the Lake Arrowhead Resort for Father’s Day which was the same day as our daughter Birthday. The resort is beautiful. We were on the second floor overlooking the pool and a view of the lake. We spent time at the pool, which also has two jacuzzis. There’s also a staircase that leads to the beach area at the lake to sit in their chairs and there are rentals for kayaks. They also have a spa for massages and a restaurant with a great view of the lake. You can walk from the resort to the shopping village.

A very nice, though expensive, alternative to the UCLA Resort. The rooms are large & comfy but with two double (not queen) sized beds in ours. Certain aspects are not well maintained for a room costing over$300/night but the mattresses were good & firm. The shower is OK but with a limited shower head to only one flow rate. The restaurant is nice with excellent service & servers but with a limited selection.
I had a massage booked here as a treat during our vacation. The massage was okay. She was nice and kind of knew what she was doing, but for the price I expected better. The music playing during the massage was not soothing at all. Jazz and big band are not what I expected. The massage room was cold and the bed warmer wasn't working. They have a nice spa and sauna in the women's locker room which I enjoyed. The showers were all cold though. I tried every single one. All in all it was not what I expected for the price. The resort is beautiful inside but I would not book spa services here again.
I would have given this place 4 stars but because we had a bad experience at the restaurant I summed it with just a 3. The food was salty and burnt. Ruth the front desk and the location would be the only reason we would come back. Lake Arrowhead in general doesn't have places to go to and have a good meal. It would be a nice place to relax and diet.
Very relaxing environment
Magical place and best service and friendly staff
Stayed for a quit retreat with my husband and absolutely fell in love. The ambiance was breathtaking. Am actually reserved for another stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Hands down our favorite place to unwind. FYI… the husband and I are germaphobes and found out stay extremely clean and comfortable.
The location is amazing right on the lake with private beach access. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Clean facilities. The room had a balcony with a view of the lake and had a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us when we arrived. The downside is the walls are really thin. The noise from heavy footed neighbors made for a very disruptive sleep every 20 minutes or so throughout both nights of our stay. Try requesting a room on the top floor to help reduce the noise and give you a chance to catch some Z's. Some minor issues with the room, such as peeling wallpaper and a leaky faucet.
Overpriced for filthy rooms. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Horrible Staff.
Beautiful place!! We will definitely be back again!! This will be one of our weekend getaways for years to come!!
It’s an old hotel, carpets have stains and my room had many mosquitos in the room when I checked in. It’s not terrible but it’s in desperate need of a renovation. In general, you get what you pay for. In regards to this place, you pay significantly more than what you receive.
Beautiful resort. Great film festival. Best time to stay is summer concerts and Oktoberfest ????.
Loved my stay at the resort, the location, the spa, and restaurant. I will recommend ???? to family and friends. It was a pleasant experience.
I was here 9 years ago and to my memory, it was quite a nice hotel. No more. Stay away if you can help it. The place is completely run down, dark and decrepit. The receptionist is icy and unaccommodating. They say it's a dog-friendly hotel but they don't even have a water bowl for the dog. We asked her to please bring us one and she coldly replied we should ask the restaurant. They charge you 150 dollars extra for the dog in addition to 75 $ incidentals on top of the 270 $ a night but don't care to send in a bowl. The room is a motel 6 room with the view of the parking lot. Stay away. You will not get your money's worth.
There is not much to say other than best getaway location specially on low season to clean your soul and body from stress.
Great location, nice rooms.
Everything was just right. The room with a view, the heated pool and the friedly staff. Definitely coming back.
Everything was great check out was very easy and quick the lobby is awesome the restaurant bar is really nice great place for weddings or outdoor events rooms are really nice Only problem with the room is the mattress needs to be updated really bad grounds look spotless Pool is very clean has 2 spas great views and a small beach to go to the water and the views and location are 2nd to none
For room 300 and up a night the customer service was not great we got there about 8pm Friday because of traffic they gave us the keys and that was it, and just pointed toward the stairs said up one the carpet had stains this was in the lobby. We get to our room and it looks dengy and dirty. At this time I go to restroom go to sink and faucet handle falls off when I turned it on. The screendoor on deck fell off when we opened it. The shower had a big hole in the middle where the strainer is, it was half broken didn't look like it's been mopped or anything and the refrigerators not a refrigerator they told us after we called saying it didn't work that we needed to go get a bucket of ice and put it in there. Well once you put the bucket of ice in There's no room for anything else. I never heard of such a thing. For a room you pay a lot of money we paid almost over $700 for 2 nights and that's a discount for wedding guess that we went too. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGIAN very Disappointed ????
The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly. The location is awesome. The bed was not very comfortable though. Wasn't bad, but did not sleep well. For the price I would expect a better bed and pillows.
Great view at this hotel. The restaurant was also good. The service is great, the views are great. The only problem with the room is the walls are very very thin. Can hear conversations from the people next door
The place is beautiful and room service is good on getting more supplies for the room. I didn't give it 5 stars because the curtains in the room were torn and there's a sliding door for the bathroom which doesn't give much privacy, especially if your sharing a room.
The lake Arrowhead resort and spa has scenery inside and out like a Disney movie, and you feel as if you're in a dream that you don't want to wake up from.
Very nice and clean resort. Dinner was great very flavorful.
Beautiful, cozy, comfy, high dollar place
I'm giving a better review after hearing from Frank The manager. He made it right for my wife and I and I appreciate it. We will return. Thank you for the great customer service.
Horrible and over prices. Dirty rooms. Rude service.
Rooms are a little worn but bed was super comfortable and good shower. Pool area was nice and gym was very good along with steam room and hot tub. Great location very scenic
A very pleasant stay! Food was a bit pricey, but the food was amazing! Wagyu burger, prime rib and ribeye were all very good! Chef was amazing! Shout out to Ruth, Frank and Alexis for taking care of our family. Would not hesitate to stay here again next time! Scenic corner suite was the perfect room for our family of 5. No regrets! ????
Thank you very much for the great weekend. The staff here really make you feel welcome.
I visited this resort and spa by attending a conference for my city. It is spacious and airy, with great views of the lake from the bar balcony. I had a poolside room with my own patio. Staff were very helpful and professional. I would definitely visit this resort again!
Hotel awesome,Food awesome, the beds were so comfortable, the view from our room was superb!! We were so happy we took our German Shepard he had a blast! We are definitely coming back!
had some initial reservations upon arriving. We’ve stayed here pre Covid and it was amazing. Post Covid, our spa appointments were cancelled due to a lack of staff and they don’t have mini fridges in our room which meant my 1 year olds organic baby food went to waste. And we were put on the first floor looking directly at wedding guests which made the first night quite uncomfortable and loud. The girl at the front desk at the time didn’t seem to care and suggested we pay an additional $479 per night to upgrade to a suite if we didn’t like it. Well, since the first night, my opinion has definitely changed. While I’m disappointed we didn’t get to enjoy the spa, the grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable, and my favorite part is that our dachshund Marvin has been very welcomed. Lake arrowhead as a whole is very dog friendly and a great place to visit if you hate to leave your furry friend behind. The resort has treated him as one of us and dogs are so welcomed pretty much everywhere. We also have a wild 1 year old and everyone except for the one front desk attendant has been so friendly and kind. The restaurant was incredible. The seafood pasta, short ribs, Everything was incredible and I’ve very much enjoyed our breakfast each morning overlooking the lake. The staff in the restaurant was great, and one bartender in particular (a very friendly retired gentleman who loves his job) made us feel so welcome. They even helped us bring out a cake for my mother-in-laws birthday. The beach access from this property makes it incredible. Many many families with young children and it is definitely family friendly. We got to enjoy s’mores provided by the resort (a favorite activity when we come here) with a gorgeous view. And the staff was amazing setting it up. We did have a hiccup the first day, the rest of our stay has been incredible and relaxing. You’ll be hard pressed to find another)34 resort as relaxing and beautiful as this. Really enjoyed our trip overall.

MUST VISIT!!! It was a wonderful experience for me and my family! The best place to relax and just chill out. Everything you need in one place. Excellent service and amazing people! Special mention to the filipina lady in the front desk name RUTH. She is so amazing! Very helpful and friendly.
Shabby looking inside and out. Only dined there.service was fair, food was better than before, but not for the prices not a good feeling sitting there.
Beautiful lobby and entrance. Great location to the village and lake front . The downsides room was not very clean red brown looking stains on the carpets, the screen door kept falling off, poor job of cleaning the room lots of trash and debris from previous guests. The coffee maker did not work and yes I did flip all the light switches as I was rudely told by the front desk. For the price and resort fee, some type of breakfast should be included since there is no room service and no breakfast options near the hotel . It's a beautiful hotel very family and dog friendly just needs TLC things are looking worn in the communal areas. I'd like to stay again if I'm able to find a special on the rate but would pass if I couldn't. Just a suggestion if the owners ever see this with the proximity to Skypark some amenities for mountain bikers would be a great addition.
Just drove up the mountain for my boyfriend to fly his drone.
A/C didnt work, fridge didnt work, the sofa bed had dog hair and the smell, it was not cleaned, they didnt even change the blankets or anything, and when i addressed the issues well they really didnt care "Oh ok, we will fix it" never said sorry we apologize nothing.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Bin189 had excellent customer service and the food was delicious. The resort was clean and within walking distance of the village. This was my second time staying here and I'd definitely go back again.
The absolute best people in this place are truly Nick, Alyssa, and Laurie!!! Nick number one definitely needs a raise or promotion. We’ve visited once every month in the past 4 months every time we go Nick always seems to be there and always greets us and takes great care of us. When we went for our wedding I was stressed the night before plus there was no power in the freezing cold rooms till 3 am because of the snow storm. Then the fire alarm also went off the same night. Again, back in January and nick surpassed our expectations again. If it wasn’t for our ladies Alyssa and Laurie our special day would have never happened so smoothly. Alyssa always went above and beyond for us!
This was a much nicer hotel than I thought it was going to be. The restaurant was priced high but the food was good. There is a full bar at the restaurant also
A genuinely lovely mountain resort. Staff was friendly. And I had one of the best margaritas ever.
Very nice resort in the southern Ca.mountains
American Beachside B.
Great location. Food is not as good as it use to be.
Always impressed how out going the staff is assisting the guest at the Lake Arrowhead Resort
Great restaurant and wine selection. Over priced but definitely, probably, the best lunch, bar, entrees in Arrowhead. I don't know. Let me know what else is great tasting.
That view was worth everything and more !!!
Nice and great location for quick snow overnight
Love this place, definitely pay the extra for the view, you wont regret. Dining a bit pricey but food matched and it was worth it for occasions. Great for couples and families.
I was disappointed with almost everything. Will not go back.
Spent the long holiday weekend there and was impressed with our suite on the 3rd floor. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've had in a hotel ever. Didn't care for the paper thin walls and the random sounds (metal clanking, doorknocks, plumbing, etc..) heard throughout our stay but it wasn't bothersome to the point of requiring a complaint. A microwave in the bigger suites would be a great plus! Cleanliness was decent overall, however, my family and I still do a wipe cleaning before settling in.
The resort was pleasantly clean and it didn’t smell like chemicals, the staff was extremely friendly and Helpful.
Horrible . Check in ...horrible. Bed .....horrible. Lumpy uneven No room service as offered on website. No vending machines on floor by ice maker. Aromas coffeshop closed for two months. Maid tapping on our door two hours before check out. Do yourself a favor and stay at a VRBO or an airbnb. The Good reviews , some of them MUST be fake. Unless I was in a Different Lake Arrowhead Resort. Employees very aloof and unable to be concerned.
Loved the location for Lake Arrowhead with walking distance to the village. The hotel seemed understaffed with it taking 45mins+ to get our orders of Morning pancakes out to the table and one bartender at night meant not being waited on at all. I was also very disappointed with the room. :( Paid for a Lakeview room but only saw a tree (blocking the lake view) but more importantly the room was very outdated and the mattress was awful!!! Horrible night’s sleep. Concaved horribly, felt like I was sleeping on the mattress springs. Room carpet pretty gross. Our son loved the game room, they also enjoyed the jacuzzi. Would give our overall stay 2-3 stars. With a low selection of places to stay in the area, we’d probably stay again but now would know what to expect.
It was nice but went for a Honeymoon and they had kids running up and down the hallway and when I walked into my room from getting ice A piece of the side of the a/c filter hit me in the head good thing it was me and not my wife but they didn't even really care about it when I told them and I was there on a honeymoon so wasn't trying to make a bigger problem out of it just wish they would of been more caring about it but other than that we had a good time
Worst stay ever . None of the Amenities as offered on website were available. Seems like it's on its last legs. Shell of what used to be. Double dipped my credit card. When I checked out, they didn't ask me how my stay was or even thank me. I didn't even know the transaction was complete. I asked " Is that it , Are we done ??" Ummm ya ... was the response. Embarrassed for them.
Fun place for a get away weekend.
Seriously the worst “resort” ever. Terrible professionalism and they’re predatory
I photographed a fall wedding at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and it was stunning! An absolutely perfect day with no clouds in the sky. We started with getting ready photos in the bride's suite and spent the rest of the day exploring around the grounds. My favorite was walking down to the water at sunset. A nice couple let us use their boat as a prop!
This place was great to stay two days of nothing but party with my new friend she love it .its good place to get away quite nice friendly make as much noise as want it was cool.the water was warm .go check it out if u around that area.
My stay was for business and the scenery even in January was exquisite! Staff was friendly and stayed out of the way for the event. Mechanics. The fitness room was only open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Was not able to use due to the schedule of the event. Nice pool and hot tub and they had a spa. Room was comfortable but wall paper was peeling, shower door allowed a lot of water to come through, and was missing a towel holder. No extra TP. Room was comfortable other than that and clean. Stay was in January so it was relatively quiet. The restuarant and bar shut down early as well. Has a good feel and lots of calming aspects with running water. Overall a nice resort.
1 star because it was close to the village ane somewhere to sleep but I'd like to know what exactly the "resort fee" covers? There's no room service, there is nothing else being offered and our room I'd have to say was extremely disappointing. We've been coming here for 20 years and every time we stay the quality gets worse and worse. Our room was dirty, bed stains of brown and yellow and the return air vent had so much dust build up I felt like my sleep was compromised because I woke up very congested and sneezing. We could hear everyone around us due to the walls being poorly insulated and the door being close to 2 inches above the floor, kids running up and down the hallway at all hours, doors being slammed from at least 6am to at least 10am when we finally just said we're leaving, this is ridiculous. This used to be our favorite mountain resort, we've spent anniversaries and birthday's and just weekend getaways but this was probably our last time. This resort has really fallen apart and management is not taking very good care of it, it looks run down from the outside and the inside matches. I took pictures of our door molding falling off, the urine looking stain on our very cheap down comforter, the brownish red stain also on the comfortor that looks like dried blood and the absolutely disgusting return vent as you enter the room. I'd love to have this problem rectified or our charges reversed, it was not worth the price at all. Our refrigerator didn't even work, I requested a new one and was sent the handyman to reset it instead, that didn't help because it still never got cold. It's sad to say how disappointing this stay was, at least when Marriott owned it they seemed to care about the product they represented, it would be nice if it was still ran that way. Please get back to me with your reply. Thank you Dana Hernandez
The worst. DIRTY socks under our bed. The window in our upgraded Lakeview room had a nasty white film all over it, you can hear ALL the bathrooms all night long anything someone flushed the toilet. The heater kicks on so loud that it wakes you up all night, It sounds like the door is being opened. Room 346. They have The lowest rated restaurant in lake Arrowhead, and The spa is only open half the week… then why is it called Resort and Spa? No mask concern… maintenance staff had no masks on, and they didn’t enforce mask policy inside the lobby. I tried to complain to the front about all of these issues but she had no interest in hearing what I was saying, so here is the review I promised I would give her.

very comfy room nice view go during the day hard to find at night

I had stayed at your hotel on 1/15, 1/16, and checked out on 1/17/22 in suite 239. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with my stay. I would like to ask you to have the air filter changed and address ant infestation more thoroughly. I appreciate the prompt response of housekeeping in addressing the infestation but it did not last. Thank you.
Beautiful and relaxing stay. The restaurant was surprisingly great! We ordered food and ate in the room.
We had the impression that this was a high end resort, however the service, the state of the property, just about everything about it was awful. On top of this, our stay was so bad that the hotel agreed to refund our last night, which redeemed some of our bad feelings about the issues we encountered. The gesture said to us that the experience we had fell below their standards and we appreciated it. However, it took multiple phone calls, even a manager arguing with me over the phone about not issuing the refund (that they had offered to provide upon checkout) for them to finally honor it and actually adjust our final invoice. Absolutely awful service and experience. EDIT: After my third phone call, they still haven't adjusted our invoice as they have now assured me they would on 3 separate occasions. Avoid this place at all costs.
I happen to be an employee at the Lake Arrowhead Resort. During my work hours I observed many guest being treated with TLC, as well as honoring thier request as guest or visitors. The view of the Lake, mountains, from the out side and inside is breath taking and an awesome sight to see. So thank you Mr. Brian, Jimmy, Stephanie , and employees for all your hard work, conduct, character, love and smiles you give to all the people. So by this being mentioned, Resort is an awesome place to visit and enjoy a little a R@R. Respectfully, Marcel God bless have a great time.

Ok, I'm typing this @ 9:07pm 01/06/2022 as i sit on the tall multi person table near the fire place. First off id like to say that most of the staff is very nice. some not so much, others have little to no authority to even attempt to make things right for their customers. My family and I came to spent the majority of the week here as weve been here before with friends and family, this week with some friends joining us. We made sure through previous phone calls that "Bin 189", their highly praised restaurant/bar would be open because were aware of all the shut downs due to this pandemic were dealing with. However, we were reassured that it was business as usual. Upon arrival we checked in, settled in, and were ready for some drinks and food, my kids were looking forward to it too, and to our surprise, the place was closed. After talking to a few employees, I was referred to speak to the dayside shift(this is where my lack of authority plays in). My family is on vacation, paying for a service and that service was not rendered. I couldn't have a drink or 2 because I had to go out and purchase food for my family, or pay outrageous delivery fees. Please take in mind that I tried to speak to the staff at my convenience to rectify the situation on different occasions. With the exception of 1 employee that really did their best to attempt to rectify the situation, even as I gave options, we were ultimately told to kick rocks and that they'd see us again next time. this is not what I expected from one of the best, if not "THE BEST" hotel in the area, and I never personally wanted to leave a terrible review like this. I really do not know if we'll be back. We do not want this to be our las visit here, however I know that if is not, I will make sure to understand that it is 100% business and not customer satisfaction, even when the establishment failed to provide the services promised, I will force myself to realize that they are the best and I will be sure to know my place as a number and not as a guest. This is just my opinion, and feel free to read my other reviews as I have nearly 700 contributions and over 100,000 views on my account and counting. Att: Management/Owner. If you are reading this, you can contact me using the date/time in question and the record of room 105. Id be happy to talk to you and change this review accordingly. Also, thank you for your time reading this.
Beautiful location. Food at the in resort restaurant could use some work but altogether a pleasant place to stay. The jacuzzi while it snows is paradise.
(Translated by Google) The hotel is very nice, the rooms need to be vacuumed well, I didn't like that it's pet friendly and they accept all kinds of dogs and you go out to the lobby bar and you hear dogs barking, dogs wanting to fight, I don't like that part, because of the snowfall There were no staff in the restaurant and it was chaos to eat, but hey it is understood, few staff in the hotel, (Original) El hotel es muy bonito, le falta aspirar bien las habitaciones, no me gustó que es pet friendly y aceptan todo tipo de perros y sales al lobby bar y escuchas ladridos de perros, perros queriéndose pelear, esa parte no me agrado, por las nevadas no había personal en el restaurante y fue un caos comer, pero bueno se entiende , poco personal en el hotel,
Night one.....i booked and paid for a lake view room, they shoved us behind some trees, then 2 hours to get served at restaurant, then we are told no pillows available ( what hotel rubs out if pillows!) then we are told all kids activities are all closed. Not making this up.....12/27/21.
Thank you Ruth! Beautiful and well organized hotel with very friendly staff.
Ruth! You are awesome. Thank you
Beautiful place to stay and very friendly atmosphere and dog friendly
It is with great sadness that I write this review. My wife and I got married at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa nearly 13 years ago as of this writing. We had not been back since, but decided to take a family trip to return here and unwind in Lake Arrowhead for a few days. In the time of our wedding, the resort was a little bit dated, but the service, food, and experience was really wonderful. Fast forward to today, and to our shock, we have found that the hotel has barely been updated since that time (when it was already feeling dated). Now, the hotel rooms feel very run down. Rips and stains in the carpets. Beds are run down. Curtains and decor in terrible shape. The television is still the same as back in the days, without any updates to the cable television service, no access to streaming services, or other modern amenities. The worst element of it all however has been the poor, unfriendly service. Our requests for simple items from the front desk were met with curt responses and then instructions to go get things ourselves from other departments in the hotel. The in-house dining option Bin 189 is a shell of itself... there are few staff, the food is mediocre, and most importantly, what few staff members are in the restaurant are rude and despondent. It all felt so sad. It seems that there has been no investment in the property at all, while the prices have stayed at a "resort" level. The resort still charges customers a daily "resort fee", but there is nothing that the hotel offers (aside from standard exercise rooms or complementary self-serve coffee) to justify that resort fee. I think the management is merely trying to use its old reputation to dupe new customers into paying, before bleeding it out into a decrepit property. The spirit seems to have trickled down to the staff, who simply are just doing their jobs and do not care. We love Lake Arrowhead and had good memories in this property in the past. It is a shame that we will no longer be coming to this hotel ever again.
Great to visit this time of the year, we went there only for 2 nites the weather is great

Management not helpful and overall experience was bad. Room was not even nice, everything had rips, curtains, headboard as and carpet
The peace and relaxing atmosphere that we experienced at the resort was a great time away from home. The staff was very nice and friendly. Ruth at the front desk was super helpful. And the accomodations were clean and importantly had a nice view of the lake, which we loved!
Just a little last minute getaway. Hotel was decorated for Christmas and it looked wonderful! Great atmosphere! Our room was great, with the best view of the pool and the lake! Jacuzzi was clean and hot! All and all it was a great experience! We will definitely go back!
Nice rooms, on lake. Went to wedding and all was beautiful.
We visited the resort for their Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet. It was the perfect choice! We were so impressed by the abundant selection. All of the food tables were so beautifully displayed. I loved not having to cook myself or clean up a single thing. The dinner was delicious! I loved every item I tried. The pecan pie was probably the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and so accommodating. The location and views were absolutely incredible. What a wonderful little getaway it was!
Great Resort and Spa.
Nice but expensuve
Great Place Timeshare hotel like reservations Access was a bit hectic since travel do not warn you about the gate community set and access code you need call in to get code Other than a very nice place with decent amenities and chill fireplace with balcony no lake view from the building but some nice pine trees atmosphere ????
I wrote the initial review upon check in and though the hotel staff gets 5 stars, the cleanliness gets 1. Our room was dirty, carpets have residual mess from prior stays, and the most disgusting of all was leftover coffee in the coffee maker. This gave me a sick feeling. I really hope housekeeping does a better job in the future.
Nice relaxing place

Absolutely beautiful resort. Inside feels cozy and luxurious at the same time. The resort staff are friendly. The restaurants and bars serve some of the best food I've ever eaten. The views from this place are amazing. 10/10 would recommend. Need to come back one day a try out the spa.
Mattress was uncomfortable. Nice views and friendly staff.
Heads up if you're planning to stay here. We stayed here this weekend with our family. Cafe/ coffee shop in hotel is closed on weekends!?? Why?? Very limited food options in hotel and in lake arrowhead in general (everything closed on weekends). Breakfast buffet at hotel is outrageously priced. No room service. For the price this hotel is a no go. Get a airbnb or go to big bear.
My stay was in August. The scenic room I reserved turned out to have a a giant tree obscuring the lakeview, and when we arrived the computers where down and we had to wait 3 hours to check in, but all that I could get over. It was fine. My issue came just yesterday, 2 months after my stay- when out of the blue $769 was taken from me, without authorization or notice. Apparently I was charged a NO SHOW fee. I called immediately to see what was happening because of course I was NOT a No Show, if I was there and had been charged already. It of course was an error and they said they would refund me. I asked how this could have happened and Frank (manager) said well what do you want, you are getting your money back. What I would like Frank, is to understand how this happened because ultimately I was the one whose money was stolen. Frank did not care that I am a single mother and this withdrawal affected me, he showed no compassion- his point was that in 10 business days I would have my money. His cavalier attitude was disappointing. When I asked how this could have possibly happened he had no answers for me and it seemed like he just wanted to get off the phone. I have many friends in the Arrowhead area, that is the reason we stayed there. After this, I will never again patronize this establishment that stole money and showed no compassion to the inconvenience they caused me. I don't know if this a regular business practice of theirs to erroneously charge folks months later and without notification. Had they reached out and let me know that they believed I owed, I could have then resolved the issue before it got to this point. Instead they stole my money and for them it doesn't matter. Truly horrible customer service and experience. Check you receipts and make sure they aren't making false charges- because according to Frank this has happened before- but don't worry you will get your money... eventually.
The resort is lovely, great area. Had a few issues with rm. Thought it could be better in some areas and I do mean necessary issues. Restaurant inside resort could do better. Would I stay there again, yes but wish it would be all it could be. Certainly has the potential

Expensive. Great staff
Beautiful spot for a wedding

Amazing service. I’m an early bird and @ 2am I found that my coffee maker didn’t work. Of course nothings open that early on the mountain. The front desk Jordy & Sklyer ran around to find me a new one with no avail. Instead of giving up they found a way and made me coffee up front. Had great conversation with them and got my coffee. Super helpful, amazing customer service and just great people.
My friend had his wedding here it was beautiful with lake view. The bar prices are high in my opinion.

experience was great! first time being here lots of activities you can do! great food! resort has heated pool, private lake for guests only. you can do fishing, they have a spa and you can schedule for boat and kayak tours, overall experience was great, will come back again when its in season! very relaxing! also resort is just walking distance from the village!!! * Ruth at the front desk also is really helpful, accomodating, polite and very nice! would reccomend 5 out of 5 stars
We went up w/ a group of friends and what can I say, it was an awesome trip. The resort is great. Don’t go up thinking Ritz Carlton because it’s not that “nuanced audience” type place, it’s a smaller resort that is in a great location, really tries and represents the community wonderfully. We have decided to make a trip during Oktoberfest an annual event after the treatment me got from everyone there. If you’re looking for a nice stay up in Arrowhead than I highly recommend the resort!
Beautiful resort with a view, went for a wedding and it was wonderful
Over priced, served drinks with lipstick from previous on glasses.
To expensive. And very loud in the Hallwsys and rooms.
This place is a dump. Poor customer service. Loud music from the yobs in the hot tub below our window at 10 pm followed by workers chatting loudly at 7 am and clanging and dragging patio furniture around. There’s a big stain on the carpet, stranger’s hairs on the furniture, and it all seems very dated. Way overpriced! The coffee service in the room is “proudly Starbucks” but they provided 1 cup and powdered creamer. Who uses that garbage? Stay anywhere but here if you want to enjoy your trip.

Nice place to walk around.
Beautiful surroundings! Stunning backdrop for the wedding we attended!
It is a very nice property. Nice lobby, pool area, the private beach, and the location. We had dinner out on the patio overlooking a wedding. It was a fun atmosphere and the food was very good. We had filet mignon, caesar salad with salmon, a marg and tiramisu. All very good. The only downsides were the overpriced breakfast pastry shop and the windows were clouded over partially blocking the view we paid extra for.
I can't believe this place got any 5 star reviews. The people who posted them must have had blinders on. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel before. Their website says all these wonderful things about the place, but don't believe it, and here's why: 1) No refrigerators or microwaves in standard rooms - only in suites. That's what I was told when I requested a fridge. Also, the front desk person told me that the only way I could get a fridge was if I had medication that needed to be kept cold. The only amenities I had were a coffeemaker, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a bar of soap. 2) No instruction booklet in room for TV , ie, no channel guide on paper and the guide on the TV was unavailable. No WiFi instructions, had to call front. No info offered at front desk when checking in. Nothing! 3) No area guide. Yes, they had pamphlets in the lobby, but every hotel/motel I've ever stayed at has both a guide in the room as well as pamphlets in the lobby. 4) Filthy, dirty carpets. 5) One wall in the bathroom, by the sink, had stains of something that had rundown the wall. 6) Outlets didn't work in the bathroom (I tried several appliances). 7) The make up mirror in the bathroom wouldn't work. On my last morning there, it finally came on but wouldn't turn off. 8) One light out in bathroom by sink. 9) Some of the furniture was beat up. 10) The back of the TV just fell off. My roomie and I were sitting and talking. All of a sudden, there was a bang and the back of the TV was leaning on the wall behind the TV. We were just relaxing and talking. The TV was off. 11) Had to have key card replaced twice. Such a very unpleasant experience. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy stay here. Lake Arrowhead was beautiful, but this "resort and spa" were not. I can't even imagine what the spa must be like. Never again! And the price is way out of line. I've stayed at $75 hotles/motels that were cleaner, more up to date, and that had ALL amenities (refrigerator and microwave). This place is a joke! DO NOT STAY HERE!
The hotel is beautiful- THE OUTSIDE and LOBBY are gorgeous. THE HOTEL ROOMS ARE DISGUSTING. Stains all over the floor! Gross gross gross stains. It’s disgusting and you should NOT stay here if you want a clean room.
With the very friendly and professional service from Corinne Gavigan, our stay was the best yet. Beautifully dressed with such a sweet smile, Corinne helped us further due to our personal circumstances. I couldn’t be more grateful for such great accommodations ????
We are newlyweds and stayed at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Our honeymoon stay was magnificent and nothing could have been better. Upon check-in we met Corinne, she is one of the ladies at the front desk. She went above and beyond for us, making our honeymoon stay one to remember. She was extremely professional, yet her beautiful, sweet personality shown thru in her actions. She greeted our dog Amy with a treat upon check-in and every time we passed the front desk Amy looked for her. Corinne greeted us and Amy every time we passed her, she even gave Amy a treat every time and chatted with us about our stay and if there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Corinne is a very great addition to your resort staff and because of her and the way she accommodated us, we are already looking to book our next stay here at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.
Beautiful setting and excellent personal.
Beautiful views, we were there on the weekdays and it was very mellow .everything you would need is very close
Stayed there about a month ago for the first time with my mom and dad and son. First off it says resort but you pay an outrageous amount for a room and you don't get anything at all to go with it. Nothing for the kids to do besides swim in the pool which all hotels have one. Nothing is included and it definitely should be for the price you pay. Also our room the ac had gone out so they offered to give us another room or half off all our nights stay I chose half off because it wasn't too hot over there since we come from Yuma and we are use to heat. So glad that I did pick the half off option because I would never have paid full price. No complimentary breakfast or coffee. Coffee there is ridiculously price and the breakfast buffet they do offer is 30 bucks a person also the lunch there they charge 16 bucks a burger. Like I said with no additional perks and we didn't even have a view our view was of the parking lot plus they have no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms and the bathroom is one big shower so Everytime you shower you have to put towels on the floor otherwise you have mass water all over your bathroom floor. Final opinion for the price you pay all rooms should have a view and if you say resort at least throw in some complementary coffee and breakfast maybe a complementary massage would be nice and some type of game room or activity for the kids because there were many kids and families there
Well maintained resort on the lake. Clean rooms, great restaurant and bar on site. You can walk to the Village in minutes!
Don’t let the reviews fool you! Maybe pre-covid this was a nice place but with the staff shortages, high prices, long wait times for food/drinks, short hours of nearby shops, and the room having so many issues (stained sheets, mold in fridge, A/C doesn’t cool) this place is overall just bad. Please do not waste your money!
Absolutely loved it ?
Great time at my daughter's wedding
Very relaxing and the staff was great.

Beautiful place took my wife for our 12 years wedding anniversary she absolutely loved it!
This place is heaven on the earth! Thank you so much!
I do ride share. I ended up in Lake Arrowhead for different passengers. I never saw anything of the resort or a lake for that matter.
this could be a good resort, but our stay left a lot to be desired. it needs upgrade and repair. in our lake view room a lamp didn't work, the shower didn't drain, the screen door didn't work. they didn't clean the room daily. when you called the front desk on a repair sometimes nobody came. They were having trouble hiring people so there were some things they couldn't do.
Cool space with lots to do!
Built in 1982. The front of the building still looks contemporary. Covered pull up area to unload luggage. Lots of self-parking. Valet also available. Lobby is large with subdued lighting and many places to sit on comfortable chairs and lounge. A little dated. Hotel stretches out along a long part of the lake with great views (Lake View Room when making reservations). Multiple stories. Elevators. Not all rooms have a view. We stayed in a Standard Room. Asked for a non-first floor in request area of the reservation portion of the online booking. Was given a first floor. Unable to change as all Standard rooms were booked. Greenary and trees viewable outside our sliding glass door. We were there to sleep only so it did not bother us. Early checkin ($50) was nice. Late checkout ($50) not always available, based on room vacancy and number of cleaning staff. Small patio with a small table and two chairs. Room was clean. Some faded stains in the carpet. Hole in leather couch/pullout bed. TV, desk/chair, and safe in room. Bathroom was nice with one sink. Bed a box spring and a bit lumpy hitting pressure points. On and off a lot due to tossing and turning. Nice feather comforter. AC worked well and room kept temperature held even with us turning it off overnight. But we had 70F high for our entire stay. Don't know how that relates in higher temps. Hair dryers on request. Complementary coffee only in the morning. Weekday rates are very reasonable for location. Weekend prices double. Restaurant on premises - Bin189. Lunch and dinner only. No reservations taken. First come. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice lake view for both. Bar. Good menu selection. Pricey for portions but to be expected for an on site restaurant. Our selections were delicious. Spa (massage [expensive $150 +$33 spa tax and whatever tip, for 1 hour!] lockers available, given robe & sandles to wear, waiting area for masseuse is a nicely decorated room with chairs, also available a jacuzzi, sauna and gym - did not use, price unknown). Pool and hot tub out back. Wall blocking view of the lake from that area. Wonderful, small, and intimate beach area down a few steps. Lots of chairs and lounges. Shaded and sunny areas. Wonderful view of the lake, mansions and lots of forest along the opposite shores. Sand a bit coarse. Swimming/wadding area is small. About 20 feet out from beach, hip level (adult) deep at farthest allowable point marked by a string of bouys and about 100 feet wide. Beyond that is considered private property. Cyacs available to rent with a guide. No life guard on duty. Short walking path along the front of the hotel start/ending at the beach to a delivery driveway behind the restaurant. Saw electronic charging ports available. Did not go over to see what type but only saw Teslas parked in the spots. Very short walk to The Village - 5 minutes. Again starting in the area behind the restaurant. This area could stand to benefit from some improvements. Not very attractive. Side walk starts on the other side of road. The very short walk and is totally worth it due to the small amount if parking in The Village itself. Lower and upper parking areas available if you chose to drive. Overall enjoyed our stay.
It's the perfect getaway if your a local California resident! What makes this resort special, many come here for wedding's and other popular functions. But this place is a charm, because visitors from around the globe love the beautiful scenery and wonderful restaurant Bin 189... Along with this amazing village.
Very disappointed in the accommodations. Our room was filthy: dirty carpets with black spots everywhere, mold in the shower, if you leaned out the balcony you could see the lake(we paid for a lake view) $388 for a weekday! This place is way overpriced and rundown, definitely not luxury, save your money and go somewhere else!
Great place for families and pets. I just wish there was a pamphlet of the map of the area so it would be easy to eat or look it up. There was wear and tear on the carpets and they needed to deep clean carpets and replace air filters. The cleaning people were awesome! The front desk just seemed as though they were lost.
The rooms are spacious that need serious updating. Carpets stained, head boards ripped, bathroom doors don’t close. The restaurant food is atrocious and the bar staff untrained. It is covid after all so that probably has a lot to do with it. I’m not sure why its called a spa because there is none that I saw. Just a small gym. Pool and beach are small. Good spot for families, not so much for adults.
The food was wonderful, but very disappointed with the new service. Order/ pay for your meal before you sit down, get a number for your table and wait for your meal to be brought to you. Well this is no longer fine dining and the prices should reflect. Had I have known about this I would not have come, and certainty not spend over 200.00. we asked for bread, we were told it would be 8.00 for half a table loaf.Seriously?
Came back a month later and we were so disappointed with our stay. Our room was dirty and worn out looking. Thought we just had bad luck but I read many Yelp reviews where many guests have recently given this "resort" only one star. Many people had similar experiences and this place is horribly mismanaged to allow this to happen. Its bad when as a guest you are felt unwelcome.
Very nice wait staff & bartenders. Supreme location next to village. Beautiful private beach. Hotel is a little outdated but very comfortable. The best part is how dog friendly the resort is! Definitely recommend!
Great peaceful place.
Great place coming out of the covid need more help
Great location, but the hotel is looking a bit worn.
Wow not a resort, spa, or restaurant anymore zero service couldn't even bill the rooms correctly the only thing it has going is the area
I’m In love. The nature is gorgeous!!!! Resort is so cozy and stylish
What a wonderful place. Next time I will bring my fishing gear.
Bait and switch, was promised dog friendly stay with on site hiking trails, bicycling, spa, fishing access to the lake, great! None of those are actually available. NOT DOG FRIENDLY, the second I checked in they made me feel unwanted. Marked up the booking $300 and told me the room I booked is being cleaned. Found out the next day by the "manager" it was available and they gave it to someone else yesterday.. The day I checked in. Spa is by appointment only and had no access to it. The hiking and outdoor activities that was promised is actually 6-7 miles away down the mountain road, oh and entrance fee is $60. The wifi access didn't work, two days trying to get in. The lake beach is ten feet of sand you can go four feet out. Place has a nice lobby but the staff there just don't give a *** about you. If your coming up here with a dog stay in big bear so much better experience
We live in Redlands we like to come up and have lunch or dinner at the restaurant we have had conferences here on two occasions and sometimes you like to just come up and spend a few days and look at the lake I love the decor I love the location has always been a good experience
Over priced. Must have been nice at one point, decades ago. Worn carpets. Hampton Inn rooms are much nicer! Has 'coolers', not refrigerators-'your items must already be cold when put in'. Out of 5 rooms, only 1 actually worked. Safes present and also not working. [Security came to our room to check it, then didn't secure our room: left the door ajar!] We WERE compensated on room rate due to this. No maid service unless requested. Trash to be put outside door, in hallway (tacky). Breakfast only available on weekends: buffet, $30 pp. Coffee $3.50. Coctails at the bar: $13.50! Nice beach area, and pool, with 2 hot tubs. Review, disappointing for cost.
Great time. clean
If you love carpets with lots of creepy stains on them, ripped curtains that look like they were eaten by moths and trying to relax when it sounds like your ceiling is going to fall on your head because it is paper thin and you can hear every footstep from the people above you then this is the place for you. Also don’t plan on putting anything in the safe. Our first room didn’t even have a keypad on the safe and the room we ended up moving to the safe didn’t work. THIS PLACE NEEDS A MAJOR MAKEOVER!
Sean G (Lda Document S.
Nice place. My room had carpet that should have been replaced years ago and only 1 Tesla destination charger for about 12 cars to share. There is also a non Tesla charger for other vehicles. The staff were friendly and kind. The gym was clean and there are Covid hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel. Only some of the staff wear masks, though.
Way overpriced for a shabby place that falsely says they have a coffee shop (it's closed) and doesn't open the restaurant for breakfast.
Experience of a lifetime... Especially for the Kids, We Had A cabin in the wood's plus the Knee Boarding and large ????Pizza and family togetherness
Wonderful place for my wedding but outdated rooms.
We love visiting but the hotel really could use a remodel , carpets are stained everywhere and the window is cracked.
Beautiful setting. Staff are superb. Rooms dated dingy. Carpet w /holes, stains same with furniture. The restaurant was lacking everything including cook and waiters/waitress. Bar had no one either. Pool was lovely. Private beach absolutely wonderful and so was spa treatment and staff. Great location to village area. They just need to improve and upgrade rooms to equal their prices.
Quiet and peaceful during the weekdays!!!
Thank you Frank and Jose for accommodating us during our stay. The ac to the hotel went out for a few days. I am not a complainer but this was pretty uncomfortable Frank the manager handled it very professionally and made sure to hear our concerns. He is a great asset to the resort please appreciate him as a hard working employee. Everyday we saw him that guy has to work 12 hour days.Bin 189 the server that helped us was a man very sparkly with a great attitude even tho they where under staff, we order 4 filets they where very flavorful highly recommend. Thank you arrowhead resort for making memories with my family.
Horrible experience. Especially considering I paid more than $800 for 2 nights. Our first room had a disgusting and massive stain on the carpet and the AC didn’t work- they moved us to a different room. We thought the AC was working in the new room but by the time we got back from a wedding Friday night the ac wasn’t working at all!? Our baby was sound asleep and moving rooms wasn’t an option at that time. AC was the whole reason we stayed there!! Saturday temperatures reached almost 100 and our room was at least 85 degrees. Had I known this would happen we would have stayed at my dads cabin for free with no AC! The only thing the property offered to do was refund 1/2 of Saturday night- so I still paid close to $300 for Friday for an outdated room that smelled like burnt coffee mixed with old cigarettes and zero AC!? Aside from that, the property is very outdated. This price for this place is insane- they’re truly relying on the fact that they’re right next to the lake because that’s the only good thing they have going for them!
It's a nice hotel. Amenities like the spa, fitness room, pool and lake access are the main attraction. Bin 189 (the restaurant) has a small menu, ok quality food but very friendly servers. Found the bar to be understaffed with some of the tenders not knowing how to make the drinks listed on the menu. The basic room is about $609.00 which I found to be overpriced considering the mediocrity of the room. The bathroom door doesn't lock and is see through. The t.v. is small and had a bad connection. The phone was also broken. This made calling room service or the concierge impossible. Summary: Decent hotel, friendly service but overpriced and slightly rundown.
The resort is beautiful n the staff was kind n courteous. But, when the day of the wedding came. The A/C was not working, the maintenance man came out twice n still didn't fix it right. The bride n her bridesmaid's, the photographer, videography etc. were miserable. In the end after I had to speak with a manager (which they should have offered on their own). He did comp their suite That made us happy ????
Nice place, great views, just a bit pricey...
OVERPRICED, RUN-DOWN and FRAUDULENTLY MARKETED. We booked a lake view king room with a balcony. When I made the reservation I asked if all dining options were available in the resort and was assured everything was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Given Covid restrictions and the difficulty many businesses are now having in maintaining adequate staffing levels, I triple checked the options in person and online. When we arrived the person who checked us in reconfirmed the open hours of both the on-site restaurant and the cafe/coffee shop. Sitting at the restaurant bar a few hours later, the bartender let us know that the cafe/coffee shop was closed and that the restaurant no longer served breakfast, contrary to the resort website and what I had been told personally. SO, STAFF LIED TO MY FACE ABOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF FOOD at the resort. Apparently the resort was sold a year ago, and current management DOES NOT CARE if they falsely advertise their property. And, after being lied to at check-in, the carpet stains, lack of shelves in the tiny refrigerator, and broken lock on our sliding glass door were all insults to injury.
beautiful view of lake! good bed/pillows. no fridge in room. small private beach on lake. nice lobby.

Best Filet and ceviche ever!
My family and I book 2 nights at this resort. It is a really nice resort, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The carpet in the room was filthy. I didn't even want to walk on it with shoes on. In addition, the employees seem to not enjoy working here. They are friendly, but something just seems off with the staff. The front staff at the lobby does not seem to do well, or care when guest are upset. For example, when we arrived a few families could not check in because the rooms were not cleaned yet. We were one of those families. The problem is that not once did any of the families get an apology, nor were they told when to get back to them. Just that we could not check in, and they don't know how long it would take. So, we had no choice but to wait in the lobby and just keep asking if it's ready. Luckily it was not that long before we could get our room. But one lady decided to talk to the manager. You could see the gentleman in the front desk get bothered by the lady as she proceeded to speak to the manager. As the lady spoke, the gentleman just kept shaking his head in frustration. Then, on 2/06 around 2am, the fire alarm went off in ALL the bedrooms. Everyone was startled including my 8 year old child that was sleeping. Again, as we went to the front desk, since they could not respond to all the calls, no apology was given, and you could see the 2 staff being overwhelmed. If the front desk could have just handled their reaction differently, and just gave a simple apology, this trip would have felt differently. Instead, im not sure if we will ever be returning. When you have every single guest upset at you, something is wrong. When you show no sympathy as a staff by just giving a simple apology, something is wrong. This left me with the impression that staff does not care about their jobs. Could be stuff like this happens frequently and they are just over it. Especially, when you see the cleaning lady in charge of the rooms on her cell phone. She did not care that guest were walking past her as she was on her phone. I don't know, staff just seemed off. Update: I decided to remove all the stars I'm allowed. If I could give this place a zero I would. On our last day at this place, the health department shut down the pool. I have come to the conclusion that if certain amenities are not available, it's not so much because of Covid. This place is just not being properly managed. Unfortunately, we will not be returning or recommending this place.
Place is beautiful but customer service is a joke. They had no rooms at check in with no update as to when any would be available. Fire alarm went off at 3 AM and they only had one employee telling guest it was a false alarm while other employees were in the back office. Employees seem unsure on any questions asked, no sense of direction. If their management was better, this place would be great.
We've stayed here several times and have always been impressed. We came back for the July 4th weekend and were sad to realize that it's turned into a motel. Upon arrival, we were told there was no valet or bell service "because of COVID" and we could use the carts to take our luggage to our room ourselves. Mind you, I'm 6 months visibly pregnant with twins. Three staff members watched me and not one offered to help. What is the point of paying a premium to stay at a "resort" then, one might ask? Had I known, I'd pay less to stay at an AirBNB and wouldn't have to walk 10 minutes to get to my room. We soon found out that there was no room service or housekeeping either, the coffee shop was closed, and they were understaffed all around. While they used the COVID excuse when it suited them, they also served buffet breakfasts ($30pp for eggs, bacon, and sausage) and a Fourth of July buffet ($50pp for burgers and hotdogs) to hundreds of people. Anyone with a brain knows that the easiest way to spread germs in the restaurant industry is through buffets (which were banned in most places during COVID). So again, the COVID excuse was just that, an excuse. They're perfectly okay to overcharge you for a buffet, but they can't hire more people to provide you with the amenities you pay for when paying over $600 / night to stay somewhere. The straw the broke the camel's back was when my husband went to the (empty) bar to get a drink. Three workers passed by, after he finally asked to be served. When he expressed concern, the bartender told him they were understaffed and to "take it up with management." So I did. The hotel manager couldn't care less about my concerns. "Ma'am your rate is not based on those services being available" was all he could say. So why then weren't we informed when booking online that these services would all be unavailable so I could make that decision? He refused to do anything to make up for the terrible experience. To clarify, we have traveled during COVID and understood the restrictions. However, when the restrictions have been lifted everywhere, I expect to receive service that correlates with the resort pricing. The excuse of being understaffed is not going to cut it anymore. All the things that made the resort a comfortable, enjoyable place to stay have been taken away. Put your money towards one of the beautiful homes nearby and at least you'll know you're getting what you paid for.
Zero customer service! You dont feel welcome front desk has zero customer service. $500+ per night is not worth it.oh and they tell you you can have fresh linens, but you have to make your own bed... should I do vacuum too? First and last time. The only good thing about this place is the food at Bin 186 restaurant. Fantastic food. Little high, but worth it.

Great place to spend the weekend. So relaxing, right next to the lake, super clean, the pool is open, and the view of mother nature ???? don't get no better then that. Once in a while they should have a 50 percent off on the rooms.
When we booked with them over the phone we were told the pet fee was $75 but at check in it jumped to $150. Our “Road Trip” package was recommended by staff and was to include a $50 credit per each night’s stay and we were planning to use their spa services. Sadly they changed this also at check in saying it was $25 credit only good for food and drink. We spoke with the Manager who was uninterested in resolving the discrepancies. Check your reservation carefully and get everything in writing. They are disingenuous to state this politely.
Clean and classy. Great employees
Rooms were very run down and dirty. Stains throughout carpet and mold and mildew on bathroom surfaces. Finishes are coming apart and blood on wall in bathroom under toilet paper. We paid over 300 a night and expected much better. Seems as though management is lacking customer service. Beware of beach, the sand and cleanliness is very subpar. Masks and filth everywhere in sand. My opinion they need maintenence and reconditioning of all entities of facility. We wore sandals in room since carpet was so filthy.
Went for two days earlier this week. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highlights were the pool, the hot tub, the beach, the gym, the lake views, and proximity - a short walk - to the brewery and village shops. Our housekeeper, Maria, and the front desk clerk, Larry, were great.
Ok so let me start by saying I rarely do these reviews of the places that we stay and my family stays at hotels and Air bnbs all almost every week. For this last week we stayed at this resort ,yes it was a hot weekend but 1st the A/C in the resort was not working it was hot in the resort, and when asking the front desk about the A/C there response was well its a old system and its just something we have to live with so we went up to our room not to mention this was not the room I booked for and the A/C in the room was not working either when I asked the front desk about it they said they would look into it, no one ever came until the 3rd night we were there my 3rd issue the refrigerator in the room was not working at all, there response was well its not a refrigerator its a cooler. Well it wasn’t doing anything they thought it was funny that I would even ask about why its not working. They had dogs and kids screaming and barking all day almost as if they were locked in there hotel rooms all day. Other then complaining about all the things that were wrong and there was a lot or just not what I paid for i will not stay at this place again, until they fix there issues save your money there are cheaper nicer places around the area that may actually care that you have spent money for your stay
What a fantastic experience. Every aspect of this hotel made you feel like you were the only guest amd they were spending their time only on you. It was beautiful, warm, friendly, exceptional!. The boat tour was fantastic, the guide was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. And come to find out he just moved there a few months ago. He went out of his way to do so much additional research on his own, it made the tour!!
Magical…Breathtaking….relax…peaceful. I can’t wait to go again.
Nice place. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. The restaurant Bin 189 had delicious food, but overpriced and incredibly slow service.
Beautiful place, Totally worth to stay for the weekend.
Great service and was very pleased with how they looked after my family and friends thanks and will be making future trips
Staying here for the weekend. The hotel is due for some renovations. There is mold on the ceilings in the bathroom...it's gross and disconcerting. The door jam is cracked and there are cobwebs in the door frame. The screen door to the balcony just comes flying off the rails. The furniture had several broken pieces. The phone doesn't reach any of the listed areas of the hotel except the front desk. The jacuzzi needs to be resurfaced as well. Its just not worth what you are paying for the room. The hotel has so much potential and I hope they do start making the needed repairs to make this a great hotel.
A perfect spot for a getaway weekend.
The location is absolutely beautiful. The grounds and pool area are very nice. We were there for a wedding and it was very nice. The rooms are in need of updating and tlc. There was a light burnt out in the bathroom, the alarm clock was broken, and there was a bent/broken screen on the window. Other friends of ours that were staying there were also complaining of things being broken or not working. It's not acceptable especially for the price of the rooms.
While we enjoyed our stay. It was very expensive and there are many areas that need improvement and require the immediate attention of management. When I asked the front desk if there was handicap access to the beach they did not have an immediate answer. Eventually they determined that there was no handicap access. In order to access the lake front beach one needs to make their way down many steep stairs with overgrowth down a long path. There is a lack of benches or areas to sit on the way down. Not ADA compliant. The pool and beach area have no safety provisions or supervision. We observed many children screaming and running from pool to jacuzzi to the beach. Most of them too young to be in a Jacuzzi or left alone. Access to the pool and the beach is not restricted in any manor. While no smoking is allowed on the hotel grounds, we did see people smoking by the pool and cigarette butts on the pool deck. One evening we had to call security in response to a loud group of people on the beach after hours (not hotel guests). There was smoking emanating from the room below as well. The hotel in general needs to be refurbished. The women's lobby restroom had 3 of their 5 stalls out of order. Including the handicap stall. We were in room 352 the carpets are worn and stained. The wallpaper is lifting, the TP holder is loose, mold on the shower grout and the bathroom floor was not clean. The room phone and the desk lamp were non functioning. The TV had limited channels and there was an error message where the guide should be. The paint on the balcony floor is peeling. The hotel room doors close slam shut all night long. The benches on the path to the boat tour dock are dilapidated. Regarding the hotel restaurant, the menu is very limited and my club sandwich was not a club sandwich. It was actually 2 slices of turkey with lettuce on 2 slices of wheat bread. The website also suggests that there is room service, but that is not the case. The last straw for me was a dirty diaper discarded from one of the adjacent rooms into the culvert below our balcony. We hope this encourages some improvements very soon to a beautiful location. Until then we do not recommend this resort nor we will return anytime soon.
Centrally located with all amenities and shops and dining just a few steps away.
Still a nice resort but needs a bit off sprucing up, which I was told is already in the works. Has a nice pool area, and its own beach. Walking distance to the village, makes it nice for a bit of shopping or alternative dinning options.
Shower does not drain, mold in shower, toilet paper holder just hanging on, patio door broken, coffee maker brokers, light fixtures not on straight, ceiling tiles lifted.
Beautiful location, very rustic ... could be remodeled, but still nice
Great service. Right on the lake
Private beach, heated pool, kid friendly, pet friendly, convenient on-site restaurant and much more!
Had a wonderful stay! We brought our moms for Mother's Day weekend and they loved it. All of the staff were so nice. Chad at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. We had dinner in the restaurant there and it was delicious. Yes, it is pricey, but it was worth it, and the drinks were so good. Our server, Rachel, was amazing!! So friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed her service. We will definitely be back and would stay here again.
Nice upscale hotel with good amenities and friendly staff. We stayed in the Lake Front rooms and they were clean, with only minor signs of age. My wife and I are picky hotel critics and like high end properties, and we were very happy with our accommodations here. We will absolutely be back.

I didn't stay at this resort, but attended a wedding. This resort is beautiful! Great views of the lake and the forest areas. The lobby is clean and nice looking and the bar/restaurant was great too. Food was excellent! I would definitely come back to stay for a weekend.
I am changing my review since I appreciate the owners response. Please fix your door card system.
Great place. Love the view and how close it is to the village.
It was so beautiful. The staff were friendly, but the restaurant and bar service is very slow.
Great place for families

We enjoy and appreciate the view of Lake Arrowhead from the resort. The nearby stores and outlet are a walking distance from the resort. It would great if the resort provides breakfast for the guest to purchase. The restaurant inside the hotel is not open until lunch. There's a small cafe inside the hotel which opens from 7 to noon on weekdays and until 4 pm on the weekends. No microwave provided in the dining area that guests can use to warm up foods or milk for our kids. A diner nearby hotel opens by 9 am. No daily housekeeping provided due to pandemic.
A beautiful hotel in the middle of everything. Warm and friendly staff.

I'm a little disappointed in our girls weekend I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights Asked for adjoining rooms they said they did not have any ... ok no problem. We got our rooms and I was not impressed. On top of that noisy hotel ... you can hear everything from the hallways. Due to Covid no room service ...no spa ... no hot tub that bummed us out ...pool was nice. Lakeview balcony was ok ...I wasnt impressed The cost was outrageous room charge plus 160.00 "resort fee" per room I couldn't even really enjoy the resort I will never stay here again too expensive for what you get 200.bucks per night per room plus 160 per room resort fee Next time I'll book an Airbnb
Its been the go to spot for the wife and I for years. Its a little over 30 min up the mountain but it feels like your far from the city. The air is clean, refreshing and the landscape and homes around the lake are amazing.
Very disappointed with our stay. We have stayed before and this was not the same. Aroma's, the coffee place was open until noon, but when we went to get coffee at 11:50, the door was locked. The employee said he had to close early to take inventory because he wouldn't be paid if he went over his scheduled time. The beds were very bumpy and uncomfortable. They changed one of the beds but didn't put the pillow top on it. It was hard as a rock. We love Lake Arrowhead, but unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.
This place needs renovating. Black mold in the ceiling panels. Tv so old they don't have hdmi input. Carpet is dirty. Used utensils left on floor of suite. When we first walked in no switches worked. Had to screw in the bulbs. AC didn't work and vent was disgusting to even look at.
Pristine and Serene very slow response from staff but overall very pleasant so far first day arrived last night
This is a wonderful place to stay in.
Loved it people were nice..
Super spacious room, has a loft area. Have stayed in many rooms that were half the size so this was a pleasant surprise
Breakfast is until 11 am thats a joke people ate on vacation wanna sleep in but....we were there 10:50 am they keep saying we stop serving breakfast at 11 its called laziness it was our second time there and it will be our last
This place is dope, so much to do, the snow is soft which is rare, love it
Great place and beautiful scenery. Love how there is a small village next to it with great food options.
It was great. The only problem the weather was cold. Not the resorts fault.

This place was great, a lot of snow. I just wished customer service was better. Is like when it snows you are on your own lol. Beds were hard for us and small. But our view was breathtaking.
Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, fridge looks like a safe- noted in other reviews “no fridge” definitely has a fridge. Overall good experience with the hotel. Restaurant was over priced. Stayed on Valentine’s Day weekend, and we ordered a bunch of different items-ceviche, burger, petit filet, quesadillas two meals/dinning experiences. Food was “ok/good” just not worth the price. Service was extremely slow- drinks shouldn’t take 30 minutes.... we will be back! PETS are ok here! $150 and a 50# max... saw a couple labs, poodle, wire hair pointers. So in case it isn’t obvious on their site.
Covid has the hotel running at half capacity. No spa eminitys makes it no fun. Pool is closed as well as Jacuzzis.
To start the price is to outriggers for the room there's 2 amenities an the room is so dirtier
This place is not worth your money. Cheap management, bad service and rude staff. Checked in late at night with my kid. They never informed us the rooms come with no water, my slept, my kid woke up at night and was thirsty, I call them and said no water you can buy it for $3.00. Like I care about the money, I had to walk all the way to the desk to get water. I paid $700 to for a motel6 room. Don't come here. Look for other alternative, like renting a house for you and your family.
Great hotel option by the lake. Fantastic location, ample rooms with decent amenities all over the resort. Avoid overpriced food by the cafe in the lobby. Didn't tried restaurant due to Covid limitations. Family was happy, we will definitely return.
Just called today at 11:15, to ask some questions about restaurants since we have reservations at end of month. Got hung up on and then when I called back the guy with deep voice was very rude and acted like I was an inconvenience in his day!!!! I asked 2 simple questions.

I booked 2 rooms on the phone with Lake arrowhead resorts & Spa person at the reservation. Both rooms with balcony. When I checked in, they said, I have a room with no balcony. I called from the room and expressed that my husband is calstophbic on a room without any air door to walk in & out. They put me to talk to Mgr by the name of Frank Young. He said, we are booked and can't accommodate at all. They agreed at 1st to give me 15% or 50% discount couldn't hear the number over the phone well. regardless Then they said. Sorry we can't give discount. Our room had a big stain on the floor carpet, spider on the ceiling hanging also shower door was stuck and it was so hard to open or close it the door. Frank Young is not qualified to be a manager. He is very careless and don't seems to understand commend senses. I paid alot of money and its not worth it all. I am sure, I am not the only person who express to truth. Shame on you (Frank Young) and your management, Your salary comes because of people like me and others people how dare you are so careless about it.
The room appeared clean but there was a dirty used paper cup under the bed and the coffee machine had an old coffee packet from the previous guest. Pre-pandemic times, I would not think it is a big deal, but going through a pandemic and having a dirty cup that a previous guest drank from made me question if they even follow covid cleaning standards accordingly. In addition, the reservation confirmation email mentioned valet parking included in daily parking fee and the front desk representative said it was “not true” and could explain why it was written on the email confirmation that valet was included. Lastly, the attitude and energy of the majority of their staff is not too friendly. The price they charge per night is not worth it at all. The level of quality has gone down so drastically.
Effected TV , No signal for our intier trip or pur quality picture.
Snowed after arrival had to figure out chains on the tires. I called down to front desk to say we would be about 1/2 hour after check out. Front desk told me "we aren't extending, hurry and get out" g

Great service, very beautiful and quiet
Front desk was very friendly and checking in was quick and easy. The rooms are very elegant the beds comfortable the bath tubs big lots of drawers and tv channels. It was very quiet and peaceful. There are more than a few places to shop that are close by although the resort is pretty secluded. The pool area wasn't open but it looked beautiful. Food and beverage is still available, "to go" and pick up. Very nice place! I was with my children so I appreciated the quiet however it's definitely a place that would be fun to party at too! ????????
Stayed in a King Lakeside Balcony. There was water intrusion from the restroom overhead and black mold across the restroom ceiling. The engineering team said the fan exhaust system was broken on that side of the hotel which made matters worse. We had allergy symptoms the entire time we were there. Avoid this place at all costs, they are failing at basic upkeep and maintenance.
Very beautiful resort
Not A Resort Stay Away From This Place Very Dirty Food Is Horrible They Do Not Keep Maintenance On The Rooms Woke Up To Broken Heater Room Was 65 Degrees Wouldnt Stay Here Again
Beautiful location. Pet Friendly. Pricey but worth it.
Great Escape! Service was excellent and place was clean!

Very peaceful with a kind staff. We loved the quinoa burgers from the in house restaurant Bin189
This hotel is unsanitary and not worth the price. For my stay (2 nights) it came up to $636. The style of the room wasn’t modern and very old. Tv also didn’t have any signal. Heater took a while to come on and it was very noisy. I paid $92 just for a burger, fry, two drinks and quesadilla down stairs in their restaurant. I stayed in the hotel the entire time, because I felt very sick when I arrive the first night to the hotel and I started to have Covid symptoms. The walls and floor was nasty. Room service well you can forget about it. No response. We were also missed guided by a worker at the front desk. I tested positive for Covid after staying here. Please ppl stay home and safe a life!
You wrote a review for Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa 17 hours ago 1.0 star rating12/20/2020 This is 100% not a resort, they either need to take it off the name or live up to it. The lobby was nice but did not deliver on its promise. The rooms were as basic as it can, very outdated. Our main issue was that they gave us a room with a connecting door, which led us to hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. I think while on vacation people are allowed to do as they please, yes, the people next door had their kids screaming until 4 am ( not my style of parenting), but what was a problem with us is that the connecting door made it seem as if they were in our own room. We called the front desk the next day after the night from hell and were told a manager will call us. He never did. Thankfully, the night after, the people next door were gone. I did mention the incident upon check out but the manager was belligerent and confrontational. He kept saying nobody told him to talk to us ( how is that my fault), he was mad because we did not call security because it is "these people's" responsibility to manage their kids, not the hotel's ( that last part I agree, but if we had been given a regular room, I doubt the sound would have traveled to that extent). Be ready to pay a $32 resort fee per night for amenities that are ALL closed due to covid. I was told it was for parking and coffee ( never even knew about the coffee). Zero customer service skills, zero professionalism or courtesy, horrible attitude. Also, I must mention the restaurant on site is pretty magical, they found a way to mess up the only UN-mess-able dish on earth, kids pasta with butter. It was more like butter with pasta and came with a 16.99 price tag before tax. It was so disgusting.Thank god the golden arches heaven was 0.2 miles away. That saved the day, and you should saved your hard earned money in these covid times to spend it on a place who cares!
Calm paced environment
I would avoid this resort now during the COVID-19 pandemic and into the future. The staff are very unfriendly, lack customer service etiquette, and are not fit for this business. This hotel has certainly gone downhill in the many years my family has visited. I will certainly not be returning in the future. First and foremost, we were misquoted amounts for a room upgrade by multiple staff members. It is simply unethical to say one price at a moment and then increase the price by 100% in the next moment. This is a true story. Next, the rooms are devoid of essentials for a hotel (i.e. coffee makers, microwaves, fridges). I do understand the aspect of the pandemic, but the hotel should truly invest in making their customers happy (that is their business) and make the extra effort to clean these items after each guest. Furthermore, when asking the front desk for items, they will forget about your request. We had to call an hour later for the same items. They said that the other staff "were on lunch break." There is no urgency to help you. You will be verbally harassed by staff about certain off-limit areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These areas are not clearly delineated (i.e. the doors are open without any signage). the staff especially the managerial staff are very rude and certainly warrant a change in job profession. The coffee shop is closed for "renovations" which are supposed to be "great" improvements, but are of no use to current customers. There is coffee and tea in the lobby, which is a sad attempt at filling the gigantic holes of disappointment at this "hotel". The Bin 189 restaurant is overrated and overpriced. There is no room service available during the pandemic. To order from the Bin 189 restaurant, you cannot call from your room to even then pick up from the restaurant. You have to order in person at the bar, which makes the least sense during the pandemic. Lastly, they will charge you a $32 resort fee claiming it is for the parking (which is largely empty during the pandemic; we were also told at the beginning of the staff that were would not any fee for parking), for electricity (I cannot believe that one), for the amenities (i.e. pool, spa, recreation center, which are closed at this time), for the TV (which we didn't use), etc... Do not stand for those items if you stay here. Ask for that to be refunded. This hotel is very greedy, uninviting and seriously needs another change in management. There needs to be an entire staff training on how appropriately talk to customers, how to dress (i.e. with a shirt and tie with or without a suit jacket, especially for a 4-star hotel), and how to overall provide an excellent experience for customers as these are currently foreign concepts for them.

No coffee pots in rooms because of covid ???????????? ok we have to wait like sheep at 7am to stand in line to pour our own coffee downstairs. How is that not a high touch area ? So pointless. If you are making covid policies at least have them make sense. It’s past 7 am and still no coffee. Again. Not going to pay resort prices for motel accommodations and amenities !!
Very good location,I wasn't that impressed with the room.
Good food, good service.
We were welcomed by clogged bathtub and a fire detector that was just dangling from its electrical wire. None of the lamps had a usb port to charge your phone.
Perfecto and clean ????
Amazing place. Wish they delivered food to the room tho, might just be because of COVID. The rooms are clean but no fridge but honestly I gave a 5 start because of the location right on the lake beautiful trees surround the area and great spot for when there's snow. This is the view from room 130. Honestly the photos don't do it justice the place is AMAZING. I recommend making time to walk the trail.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL THEU DONNOT CLEAN THE ROOMS PROPERLY! After my weekend there I came home itchy as hell to find out it was a bad rash I contacted from the hotel.
Lovely place all year round. Beautiful views of the lake and places to walk.

I will diffently visit again. Had a great view of the lake
One of the best places to stay overlooking lake Arrowhead. Facility is clean, the restaurant is also very clean and the dishes are appealing. Great steaks and a good selection of wines to accompany.
Place is full of screaming running children. Not a good place to have a relaxing time in the mountains. Also, the rooms have doors in them joining the rooms together and you could hear your neighbor like as if he was in the room there with you and you have a roommate. Was awaken every morning by hearing the kids in the room next door cry and jump all around the room. Was a nightmare. Never again!
So beautiful! AttenededMy Cousins Eddinf Here. Would love to come for a vacation again some time soon.
Great place to stay. They helped us work through a problem with our reservation.
Staff was subpar. The only one who impressed me was Morgan at the restaurant. She deserves to be manager. How can they call themselves a Resort if they don’t even offer water bottles small fridge or even coffee. They have two safes in the hotel. Pointless. Good location tho.

Tbe boat ride on the lake was the most fun for us.
Ok, I just don't know where to start. Ist night no Heat in our room, it didn't work.Got that fixed day 2. With no warning the hotel shut the water off in the middle of the morning Thats day 3, packed up with no shower, that day Day three, no warning
You can see the lake from the balcony, and there are many squirrels and birds jumping in the swimming pool yard in the morning. Very quiet, 3 minutes walk from the square, you can walk back to sleep when drunk????
If you are concerned about Covid-19, do not stay at this hotel! On a whim, I decided to book a same day reservation to take my elderly mom to the mountains for a quiet retreat. I reserved a handicapped accessible room which was very pricey as it was a Saturday and last minute. We checked in early and headed to the restaurant for lunch outside. I initially became alarmed as there was a 40+ person wedding taking place on the outside patio below in which attendants were not wearing masks. The patrons at the restaurant were taking videos of the wedding from the balcony and not social distancing. The pool area was packed with guests, not social distancing. After these observations, I decided that this was an unsafe environment for my mom and was willing to make the 2 hour drive back home. Since we still hadn’t used the hotel room or brought luggage inside, my husband went to the front desk and spoke to the hotel manager expressing our concerns regarding Covid-19 and my mom’s safety. He asked if we could get a refund or at the very least a credit to return when it was less crowded. The manager was unsympathetic to our concerns and said there was nothing he could do for us because it was a same day reservation. I realize that hotels incurred major losses during the shutdown which they need to make up for, but during this pandemic, if guests feel unsafe due to large crowds and lack of social distancing protocols at pool/beach, the safety of the guest should be a priority especially for someone high risk such as my mom. I’m not sure what the CA State mandates for hotel capacity are, but this hotel was very crowded and busy. In comparison, I recently stayed at a resort in Palm Springs in which they they took the utmost precautions, limiting hotel capacity, guest pool capacity and ensuring guest social distancing in restaurants and lobby. This hotel doesn’t seem to take into account the Covid-19 precautions necessary to ensure guest safety. With a wedding, a packed pool, and busy hallways to the rooms, it seemed to be a prime situation for a Covid-19 outbreak to occur. In addition, there was an outdoor balcony overlooking the pool with tables which had people’s left over food and trash and no one cleaning or wiping down the tables after guest use. And lastly, the wait time for our food at lunch was terrible, over an hour and the food was mediocre at best. The satellite TV didn’t work in the evening in our room, but at that point, I didn’t even bother to complain. I just wanted to leave. Overall, I spent a lot of money for a stressful and unenjoyable experience.
I called ahead to see if they had movie channels and if they were working, they told me everything was working good.. as soon as we got in our room, I checked, THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WAS DOWN! I was so disappointed because I had looked forward to a getaway night with my husband, and to catch up on movies!!! They also have terrible customer service!!!
Okay, so let me start with the surroundings. This would absolutely get a 5 STAR review, but because of other issues it’s rated a 3-4 The Room: the king bed was amazingly comfortable, however, the pillows were horrible. One flat the other slightly better. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall so the TP kept falling on the floor, yuck. The headboard has a tear in it, looked tacky. There was patch work throughout the bathroom. They said there was a mini fridge. Great we can bring some extra waters, cheese and salami, olives for a nice little charcuterie board. WRONG. There was a “cooler” that supposedly you put ice in, but everything me,Ted no matter how much Ice we used. Overall I felt the room was sanitary. This was a total bummer as this was a do-over anniversary trip because out Tahoe trip got cancelled due to the fires. The staff. Very nice, friendly and helpful. The Bar: The manager who I think made out “to go drinks “ was horrible. Blondish brown hair, Caucasian around 40-50. She fingered my jalapeños actually used her hands to put them in my drink. This after she touched credit cards, receipts etc. She touched the tips of the straw but she must have caught a look on my face and handed me one in a wrapper. It was the worst drink I’ve ever had, seriously. She did the slightest drip of tequila, no measure at all. And it was $15.00! I wanted to take it back but my husband said not too. Still upset about that. The Coffee shop: only open on weekends? Bum,er, but there was complimentary coffee in the bar. Pool: cleaned daily, fresh towels, area maintained very well. Woodpeckers pecked a lot. It I didn’t mind. I loved watching all the birds and sway of the trees. The serenity of this place was awesome. The hotel needs a little refurbishing, but honestly we would go back for sure. I just feel it’s important to give the pros and the cons from someone who stayed there and let you make your choice.
Was really nice to relax, too bad spa was closed due to COVID-19 but it's understandable.
Definitely great views of the lake
Not accomedating , if you r not a guest U can't dine there...i have been told that there is no room although the place was 80% empty... just a joke
Beautiful and relaxing. Just wish the beds was more comfortable
My wife booked 2 rooms each under a $25 room credit package for 9/19/20 stay with her sister and dad staying on one room while we stayed in the other room. Our rooms were on and facing parking lot. The room itself and bathroom were a bit dated. The bath tub was a bit clogged up and one of the faucet handles to the sink was loose and felt like it could come off. Her sister later in day after check out discovered that she had left a bag of clothes in the room and called the resort to inquire if cleaning crew found it. No one from the resort got back to her on the bag. What prompted me to write this review is that my wife received her credit card bill yesterday and discovered that one of the room charges was $50 more than the other room. It turns out that the resort charged $25 twice instead of providing the $25 resort credit from the room package booking. She and I each have been trying to reach someone at the resort to correct this error. Each time we call, the phones go back in a loop to the menu by department prompt. The only way to reach a live person is to contact reservations department but they cannot assist and are directed to contact the front desk. Of the approximate 20+ calls to the front desk, only 2 or 3 calls are picked up and we get transferred to accounting department. Voicemail picks up from that department and my wife has left 2 messages with no call back yet. If no one calls her back, she will have to reach out to the credit card company to dispute the charge. The point of this review is that there is NO Customer Service so make sure that you DO NOT LEAVE any of your items/clothes in the room before you check out AND make sure to obtain a copy of your billing at the front desk AND make sure the billing and charges are correct EVEN IF THERE IS A LONG LINE at the front desk before you leave there because you will end up spending much more time afterwards to address any problems. We hope someone from the corporate offices at Benchmark Hospitality in Texas checks out the online reviews on their properties, including this one, to address this lack of customer service. I have seen the responses from the resort to online reviews and they are just a copy and paste of the same responses to prior reviews.
The location was beautiful and the surrounding stores and restaurants were very enjoyable. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and worked very hard to make sure you enjoyed your stay. Chadwick at the front desk was particularly helpful despite being very busy with constant calls and check-ins! However, the rooms we were shown and the one we stayed in was “tired” and in desperate need of remodeling. I guess it helps the point of vacation is to enjoy exploring where you are! Not the hiding in room.
This hotel is not as nice as advertised. The furniture is old, outdated and dirty. There are stains on the carpet and ceilings. The bathrooms are not cleaned properly. Definitely not COVID-19 sanitized. This is bad place to go if you are a couple because there seem to be a lot of screaming children. Maybe it was a child’s birthday or something because I felt there were more kids screaming and crying on the property than adults. The photos online show the rooms as having jacuzzi bathtubs but that is only for the suites, to upgrade to a suite room is an extra $450. They also charge a $32 fee for valet parking, WiFi, other amenities (valet was closed bc COVID-19). Customer service sucked and it seems like the management company treats their employees like dirt. There are no coffee machines in the room and when I asked the front desk for hot water for tea they said they didn’t have anything. I am very disappointed in this establishment. Would like my money back. The only reason i gave it two stars is for the view and location.
One of my favorite places to be!
Beautiful views and close to shopping and restaurants and shopping. Due to Covid many amenities are currently unavailable.
Nice location, but just average rooms and service. I was expecting a better experience.
Beautiful setting, beautiful rooms, beautiful everything! We loved our stay here.
Very nice resort.
Kinda run down a lot of things closed do to Covid-19 won't go back.
The hotel was dirty. Due to covid19 none of the amenities were available. The site I booked thru said the resort fee was $20 a night. I got charged $32. I didn't even get free bottles of water that is one of the amenities. Due to covid they don't put glasses in your room. I could go to the restaurant and get some disposal ones. The first room we got had no view. So we asked if they had one with a view. They said sure . The room carpet was absolutely disgusting. Big black spots all over the floor. Unfortunately I had to ask for another room, this one had view but no balcony. There's a long list of things that aren't available that you get after you check in , not before or during booking after they have your money. We prepaid for our room and were asked to leave an open credit card on file for incidentals . They held $75 dollars on this card . We had a delicious breakfast and wonderful service at the BIN 189. Since we had an open credit card we charged our breakfast to the room. 2 days later there was a charge for 77.73 on our open credit card. I called and was told yes that looks right by Frank . I asked how was it right ? Our breakfast was approximately 46.00 dollars , where was the rest ? Oh that's the resort fee of $32 dollar's . We were going to stay a few more days . The nightly rate is approximately $300+, I'm so glad we didn't stay. The resort has been sold I've learned and I hope whoever bought it cleans it up. The grounds were dirty cobwebs everywhere.
Hotel pushes their JUNK BRIO 189 food and we ordered their 13 $ junk dessert and my wife got sick and was throwing up all night. It ruined our trip as we ordered the room to sleep in after we watched a meteor shower. Instead of being able to watch the shower, we were at the room throwing up. I left messages for management with details and they do not return calls. RUN AWAY FROM THIS JUNK HOTEL. DO NOT EAT AT THE HOTEL.
Love this place and the ambiance! We came when the meteor shower was happening a couple weeks ago and wow what an amazing time!! The restaurant has a nice variety to it and I really enjoyed the entrees I had while there. The bartender is a legend and hooked up me and my girl just because he’s a good guy!! Only thing i could say out of concern, would be to fix the table by the lake. It’s literally broken and i could see something bad happening if isn’t fixed soon. Anyways, I’ll be back and can’t wait to spend some time up there!!
Nice and friendly staff. The room is decent, we got the lake/pool view balcony. It's a bummer they don't have a microwave, small fridge, nor a coffee maker in the room.
Absolutely spectacular accommodations! Wonderful, family-friend location steps away from the town. Don’t forget to check out the private dock! Friendly staff and extremely cleanly. 10/10
Wonderful Little Swiss setting and location. Total relaxation. Friendly location for weddings, retreats, and spas.
Thursday through Saturday you can only take food to go. Have to be a guest, guess they don't want me to want to be a guest later.
Filthy resort literally, carpet stains everywhere, torn curtains, carpets lifting everywhere, furniture is torn. Disgusting place. Everything is filthy! They should not list this as a Resort, very misleading! I will never come back. Huge disappointment! And the personnel is cold and not concerned one bit.
Amazing resort beautiful & relaxing close to everything beautiful view from our balcony ?

This is a clallenging time to say the least for any hotel or resort. While I think this resort did an ok job, there were a few things that needed attention. Pretty much everyone on staff was very friendly and accomodating. On the flip side, they need to review the use of face masks for all staff and guests. Front desk attendants were wearing masks over their mouth but not their nose, that stood for the restaurant as well. Housekeepers were not wearing masks at all while cleaning. There were multiple guests just not bothering to put on masks at all. Our first room was going to be directly over a wedding... we asked to move and were promptly accomodated. That said, we found old, half eaten muffins in the console below the TV. So much for extensive cleaning of the rooms. Lastly, the restaurant was very expensive. - typical for resorts. Our very nice waitress had no idea about what wines were available (the first three I chose were out) and/or how to describe them. When we were paying $45 for a steak, the waitress should know a bit about the wines.
Very nice pool, beach access and restaurant. Enjoyed!
We were told the suite would have 2 beds, it did not. We were told the place was basically empty, but got there and not only was it sold out but there were friggin screaming kids EVERYWHERE! And then we get a knock on the door at 1am saying WE'RE too loud?!? Friggin kidding me?? The resort itself is pretty. But terrible service, don't plan on returning.
We had a lot of fun, mini escape for the family. Nice hotel! Pool is a but small and I think they should've had an hour midday to close it and clean it because it definitely got dirty near the end of the day.
Beautiful and great location
My husband and I chose this location as a getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We showed up an hour before Check-In time and our room was not ready, which was understandable since we were early. We returned at 4pm, which was Check-In time and found a line of 20 people waiting to Check-In. We stood in line for 28 minutes before it was our turn and were told that our room would not be ready for another 30 to 40 minutes but they couldn't say for sure. Every single guest was told the same thing, and the most annoying part is that instead of making an announcement for everyone to hear, they still made us all stand and wait to be turned away. When we tried to bring up a price adjustment since we'd have the room for less time they said it was not possible because rooms are "not guaranteed to be ready at 4pm". Nowhere is that stated and I'm sure that if I decided to stay a few hours over the 11am check-out time they'd charge me for it. We got no accommodation for the delayed Check-In time, nor any recognition of responsibility from the staff. The pool was extremely small, as was the beach area and were overcrowded by families with children. People were walking in and out of the lobby without masks, as staff was not enforcing safety regulations. Would not recommend this hotel, especially not to a couple looking to enjoy a quiet, romantic getaway. The village nearby was also extremely overcrowded.
Beautiful location with convenient access to the lake, however both the beach and the pool are crowded. The lobby and restaurant are nicely decorated. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is plentiful. There were a few deficiencies, the room did not have a coffee maker and a to-go coffee from the restaurant was priced at $5 with an 18% fee added. There were only two bath towels stocked in the room and the walls are so thin that I could hear entire conversations of people in adjacent rooms. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me :)
The hotel is ok . There is nothing to do there. My teen and I were pretty much bored . They have only one company that offered some type of fun. Water skiing. Good luck getting a spot they are booked days in advance and no way of doing it online. The hike to aztec falls is closed due to tourists leaving trash. The restaurants at the village were ok. The beaches are very small at the lake. The pool is small and overcrowded at times. They offer kayaking tours on weekends only. Reserve 1 day in advance.
Love this location
It is a great location the lobby and restaurant Bin 89 was beautiful. The room was missing towels, we had to call housekeeping to clean the wall next to the bed discusting. The staff was great and responsive but the room we were in was in need of discussing. Refresh.
Late preparing our room we had to wait in lobby for extra hour, 1 servings of noodles and steak cost me $50 and I took for take out for some reason I was automatically charged $7 for take out (during covid) and $14 extra for steak. We went to a Mexican restaurant and got 3 times more food for $25, they wouldn’t bring up eating accessories when I called the operator so very poor room service.
Restaurants was very overpriced. The lake area was way smaller in the pictures. The rooms were ok, but the floor was dirty. I expected a very clean resort with a lot of dinning options. We asked for a lake view expecting a nice view but instead we were given a view of trees blocking everything. We had very loud neighbors above and asked to speak to the manager who never got back to us. Horrible customer service. The only plus was a pool for the kids and close to some shops near by.
Horrible checkin service ... Requested 2 Queens balcony Pool view the day before checkin and was confirmed (charged upgrade price) ... However, day of checkin, first attempt walked into a king size facing the restaurant patio ... Went back to front desk to let them know and was told to wait again in 30 minute line to get another room which ended up with another King size bed facing a home and neighbors garage (Slightly see the lake from afar). This entire checkin took an hour and they were unapologetic and told me best they could do ... New Manager didn’t realize the layout of the property? Seriously ... Don’t they have detail of the rooms on their screen? However, the pool and lakeside beach were fun.
Very nice place to enjoy with the family
I have stayed at this location last year and we enjoyed our stay fully. Not this time though, before coming I called to add one more day to our stay and someone hung up on me. The front staff were not that friendly either. This time, they did not have enough towels, no disposable cups, etc. We are not coming back anymore. Total disappointment this time.
Good. But don't expect the beach and pool area to not be crowded. These areas are small. Clean and nice on the inside. I really don't get the bad reviews as far as cleanliness. I came during covid 19 times, so I am not getting a full experience. Lake arrowhead as a whole is a bit of a let down because I wanted to fish. There isn't really anywhere to do so.
Everything was great except for the fact that in the king room the pull out bed has hard and terrible to sleep on.

Beautiful views, service okay, not the best, outside a lot spiders
There were a few things I think they can improve on but overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The restaurant is ridiculously overpriced. An ice tea cost $5, a basic sandwich cost $18, a quesadilla was like $21. In my opinion that's taking advantage of customers. There are many great restaurants close by that are all very affordable with very good food and so we always ate out. My other problem with the resort happened before our stay. I'd call the hotel and the system would answer, send me to the front desk where it rang for a while and then I was sent back to original automated voice, back to the front desk for more ringing and no answer and then back to the automated voice; this happened over and over again. When they did answer they'd put me on hold. One time the hold was over 20 minutes and so I just hung up. They should have dedicated staff to answer the phones and answer questions. It should never just ring or have customers wait so long because the front staff is busy. Other than that, the location was great, the resort was beautiful, and the staff was very nice and helpful when needed.

Great location in the Village. The lake view room with balcony was nice except for the girls below us smoking pot at all hours so couldn't use the deck much. Management was responsive though. Restaurant was good and service was also good. Would recommend for a quick getaway.
Staff was rude on phone. I called throughout the day and every time I tried to talk to front desk, it hung up. When I finally got through they could care less. Arrival- no gym, no room cleaning, no new towels or trash emptied, no kayaks to use, gym and spa closed. Trail that goes around lake- nope. Staff could not answer questions about any of the above. A discount or night free would have been a good gesture. No microwave or coffeemaker in room. I won't be coming back.
This place is beautiful. The only disappointment is because of the covid situation there are a number of restriction, but they are reasonable and add to the safety of the guests.
Beautiful relaxing location perfect ,follows safety rules well"perfect getaway for a reasonable price pool, beach. Lake swimming ,spa, I would ask for Lake view next time not pine view
I have stayed at this hotel many times and loved it. Unfortunately, this place has taken a nose dive with regard to cleanliness and service. For lack of a better word, this hotel is a total dump now. Apparently it is under new ownership...and it shows. Not only is this hotel run down and dirty, but the service is horrible (horrible is actually an understatement). Sadly, my family and I will be going elsewhere for our 4th of July vacation next year.
This time, like many other times, I primarily come to sit on the north deck to have lunch on a quiet weekday. Food & service are always very good, & I love the view of the lake.
First room had no view of lake. Second room took 4 sets of keys to get in. The lock on door had to be jiggled and door had to be pushed on to get unlocked. Carpet was warn and dirty bathroom ceiling had mold. Deck had cobwebs and old food dripped on table. Also bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped. I cane for a funeral and it was very stressful.
Worst food I have ever paid for.i ordered a club sandwich the food came 45 minutes latter. They brought me a Turkey sandwich. I asked the waitress about the sandwich, she said would I like them to bring me some bacon. My wife and 91 year old mom ordered a chicken quesadilla Taco Bell has a better one. When I got the bill I gave the waitress a 100 dollar bill and said keep the change. It took about 20 minutes to get the car and drive to the front door to pick up my wife and 91 year old parents. Just when we were about to drive off the waitress in charge stopped us and said our waitress said we did not pay My wife went inside they said oh we made a mistake. There were other people around when we were confronted about not paying, not only we had paid but gave a very good tip.
Room was advertised as lake view but should be listed as obstructed view. Restaurant service was extremly slow. Not much to do here. The only thing they have is a small beach area that everyone crams into. Very disappointed. No one answers the phone here either
The employees need to be educated on how to properly wear masks. If we are all mandated to wear a mask indoors in the state of California , then need to be as well. When I checked in the gentleman touched his mask a countless number of times and brought it down when he talked to us. That defeats the purpose. Education is key and it's very apparent your employees have not been, considering most of then don't have the mask over their nose.
This wedding venue is incredible !! After filming wedding events here multiple times do you start to appreciate the style and quality customer service this place brings. A side from the hotel and restaurant (which, let me tell you is delicious ... ) is the beautiful property itself. Not to far from any "foresty areas" for wedding portraits and if you decide to have you wedding late Spring or early Fall the weather is perfect ! This venue is just great.
Best place in town, village is very close, walking distance.
Relaxing place to get a massage, a facial, or a body scrub.
Very nice, my niece's wedding was beautiful, the reception was very nice, staff was great and the food served was the best, my daughter's vegan choice was outstanding and the wedding cake was delicious, had a great time.
Had to wait almost an hour to check in and then to follow up with horrible customer service behind it, once finally got a room IT WAS DIRTY!! Got the new room that reeked of smoke and was supposedly a non smoking room, don’t go here that’s why I saw it was listed on Groupon! Shady business
My husband and I have visited for 3 different anniversaries. Just last year for our anniversary we were surprised with a room upgrade! Beautiful corner balcony, jacuzzi room! We had a great stay. Enjoyed wonderful breakfast and walks around lake arrowhead resort. I enjoyed a relaxing massage while my husband utilized the gym and steam room. After we left my husband realized he left MANY belongings in the room. I called and they mailed everything of his back to us, free of charge! We look forward to visiting again in just a few weekends!Large suites · Romantic atmosphere · Quiet rooms · Thoughtful amenities · Spacious rooms
The staff at Bin 189 are fantastic attentive and welcoming
Great place for the price. Room was clean and neat.
Room had stains on the carpet, restaurant had slow service.
Beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding!
Greatest time of my life!
Best loading dock ever!
Great Stay, really a hidden gem in the San Bernardino mtns
Breakfast here is awesome. You have to try the chicken and waffles

Very disappointed with our stay. Hotel room was dark and dingy but this room did have a nice view. Location is great but this is NOT a four diamond resort. Seems most of the staff was new as I am wondering if this is due to the fact it is no longer (of very recent) a Marriott Autograph collection anymore. Generally the service was also subpar and underwhelming for a resort that is supposedly four diamond rated. No valet in sight for 20 minutes as I believe there was one perso...n doing valet and assisting with luggage (we decided not to bother waiting). Our second night the people above us were very loud. We also had a child with us however he was not running around non-stop and jumping off the future all evening long. Called front desk twice past the actual quiet hours time. Second time when my husband called someone finally (at 11:30 pm) asked them to quiet down (which they did for 10 minutes). Then they proceeded to bang around until 2:15 am!!! In addition, housekeeping never came to our room even though we were out of the room for 6-7 hours. When we returned to our room they were working on the rooms two doors down and informed us they were getting off for the day. At this point we just asked for fresh towels etc as it seemed no one was going to be able to service our room anyways. Clearly the resort did not have enough staff to service the rooms or not willing to pay staff for the hours needed to complete the work. One other compliant is that the In room on demand service did not work during our 48 plus hour stay. Not that big of an issue... the main point being that is was not worth the money we paid and it certainly is not up to par service wise for four diamond rating. They also did not have enough staff to assist with Valentines evening dinner, I felt bad for our waitress who was in fact a bartender with no food service experience. She did a great job especially considering what this “resort” threw her into. Will not stay here again unless something were to drastically change. See MoreNoisy rooms
I wouldn't stay here in the summer. The food was absolutely awful. This might be a good winter getaway but the restaurant food is absolutely horrible. We had a party of 10 and sent back 90% of our food.
Double charged me for the room and won't refund me. Need to take them to court to get my money back.
Deceptive pricing, and unsafe common areas. There was a noise complaint related to my dog staying with us, and they were very professional about that. But otherwise not a great place.
Beautiful place, Great Atmosphere
Love the Treadmills here
(Translated by Google) I was able to go grab a snack, the place is amazing, especially during Christmas where everything is decorated and illuminated, but the menu bar is grim. Not much choice and the prices are expensive. Attention is not very good because it was too slow. Partly in view, it is a place that completamante wasted, having the lake and forest in front. Excellent location right by the lake. The room was super well organized and clean. The bar was very nice the food is excellent.
Love, love, love this place!! Always a nice experience.
The Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa is a welcoming, warm and comfortable place to stay. My girlfriend and I had a romantic getaway staycation during the winter here and it was quite the experience.

Best Hotel in the area. We always stay here every year
My frequent get away. Nice place in the perfect location to spend time with my family.
My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. I had purchased a groupon for the room. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we got there. Alexis at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Upon arrival, she asked me what brought us up to the hotel and I told her it was for a change of scenery and for some much needed r & r. She made sure we had everything we needed to make that happen. I can honestly say, this has been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I know there are a few reviews stating the cutomer service is bad, but we had the complete opposite experience...our experience was above average. The valet was super nice too. The hotel is beautiful and the view is amazing. I suggest getting a lake view room. The hotel is right on the lake and the views are beautiful. Our room was spotlessly clean. The bed was so confortable and the sheets and conforter were clean and new. We enjoyed warm drinks by the fireplace in the restaurant lounge area (which is very nice) shortly after we arrived. The bartender was just as sweet as she could be and made a great suggestion for a hot toddy customized to my liking and my daughter loved her hot chocolate. Over all, the hotel seemed updated, clean and beautiful. The staff was great and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great too! It's right next to the village which made it so convenient. We will definitely stay here again. I am looking forward to bringing my husband up next time. Our experience was 5 stars, mostly thanks to Alexis.
Staff is Nice
Nice hotel, great customer service.
We are enjoying our stay here very much. I am from the Florida swamp and live in it, but this is a breath of fresh air for sure.
I was torn because overall it was a good experience. However: 1) This was the inside of the bedside lamp; and 2) The sofa bed was a bed from HELL. I had back pain for a week after 1 night of sleep on the sofa "bed", which was more of a torture chamber than a bed. So definitely should be more attentive to cleanliness and the sofa bed is something you would expect in a VERY cheap motel not in a resort and spa that charges what Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa charges.
Very nice place, the only place near to five star hotel in the area and
Horrible overall. Rooms are outdated, beds are uncomfortable, TV does not get sports channels, and staff is unresponsive to solve issues. Kleenex was near empty, heater didn't work properly, kids running up and down the hallways. Really not a relaxing place to stay you -can hear everything through the walls and ceilings. Please consider somewhere else, you really don't get a good value for how much you are paying for!
Imagine you pay 5000 for a wedding package and you get the presidential suite and they give it to some one else when you had that room reserved horrible
Myself and 3 others stayed at this resort for New Years Eve. The rooms were fantastic, the decor was festive, and the entire staff was helpful. The resort sits lakeside, and there are plenty food options. I would plan another trip with this resort for the summer time.
Great location and great views, nice lobby and restaurant. Rooms are a little outdated with the furniture.
When you visit here make sure to bring your own mattress otherwise you will have a back pain because of old and dusty mattress.I try my best to explain this to the manager but he says we are sold out or we can’t bring you mattress.
Spa services and spa/fitness facilities are definitely 5 stars but you must book early and keep in mind that Winter storms can be a little tough on scheduling. The in-house restaurant is very pricey and was understaffed during our Christmas week visit but the food and drinks were great. The check-in process was below standard as we had to wait until 8pm for our room to be ready. We did receive a gracious $75 voucher for the lounge while we waited for 2 1/2 hours for our room to be readied. Lots of families and pets so if peace & quiet is what you're looking for, don't visit during the holidays! The complimentary valet & Tesla charging stations were very appreciated. Finally, the staff throughout the hotel were VERY friendly and always eager to help with anything at anytime.
If I could give it negative 10 stars I would. I made a reservation like I always do through Hotels.com. We drove 4 hours from San Diego and through the snow, and bought $250 worth of tire chains for the snowy roads for our trip. We go to check in and I open my email to give my confirmation number and see an email that I had already checked in at 6:27pm. I tell the lady I haven’t checked in and proceed to tell her my confirmation number for my reservation. She goes to the back and then comes back to tell me she doesn’t have a reservation for my name or confirmation number. She proceeds to tell me they are booked for the weekend and there’s nothing they can do. She handed me a piece of paper with some places close by and 25 miles away in Big Bear that I could call to see if they had any availability. She claimed she has no idea what happened and I should call Hotels.com. Mind you, I have been a Hotels.com premium customer for many years and have NEVER had this happen! So, I call Hotels.com and went through an hour of back and forth with them trying to find another place to stay as they were very accommodating. All while this is going on, my daughter finds a review on yelp from two hours prior saying the hotel gave their multi room reservation away and then wound up giving them a lesser room for the same exact same price. Then, to top it all off, there were several families that came in after us and the same exact thing happened! They all were told their reservation was not in the system. One lady said she received the same email saying she checked in at the same time I did yet they didn’t have her reservation either. After sitting in the lobby for a couple of hours trying to figure out what we were going to do because everything on the mountain was sold out, we drove down the mountain and found a room and were checked in by midnight. The staff at Lake Arrowhead Resort and spa were not accommodating in the least. It’s as if they knew they cancelled our reservations to upcharge those who were desperate for a room for the night. This didn’t only happen to Hotels.com guests, it happened to Expedia guests as well. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!! This a very poorly run establishment they are extremely unprofessional!
This place will take your breath away!
I booked this hotel through Priceline, which misled me to believe there would be a bathtub in the room. There was not. And they did move me from a “King” room, to a “queen” room, with the promise of a bathtub. There was not a bathtub. It was a shower. And they would not move me again. There is no free continental breakfast. You have to pay for breakfast at the restaurant. It’s a beautiful hotel, that’s similar to The Overlook Hotel, in The Shining. It’s kind of neat inside. The gym and spa are nice. They keep it clean. There are many exercise machines and free weights. The locker rooms are nice. They have showers and a steam room, and also a hot tub. There’s a nice outdoor pool too. But since severing ties with the Marriott, service is lackluster. They give non-answers and excuses. Although for its beauty, the interior is showing some wear and tear. It’s a little rough around the edges for the prices they charge. You can’t swim in Lake Arrowhead unless you own property. You can look at it, but you can’t go near it. It’s all gated off. You can swim at the nearby, man-made Lake George, that’s about 5 miles away through winding mountain roads. If it snows, you’re trapped.
My family of 6 booked the panoramic suite at $900 a night. When we walked in, the first thing we saw was the two gorgeous stone fireplaces as stated on the website. Unfortunately, neither of them worked. I checked with the desk and they confirmed that they don't work . . . not even fake light-type fire. Then my son-in-law filled up the gorgeous jacuzzi bathtub for two. The jets don't work and the button to turn them on was missing. In the middle of the night, I woke up because the bedroom was freezing. The room temperature was 61 but the thermostat was set to 70. I walked into the living area where 3 family members were sleeping and it was like a blast furnace. The thermostat is located in the bedroom but the room was blowing cold air. I had to turn the heat off so those in the living room wouldn't die of heat but that meant those of us in the bedroom had to freeze. The following morning, we all attended Santa's breakfast. We were told the night before to come anytime between 8:30-11:00 so we headed down at 9:45. When we arrived, we were told we missed the majority of the activities and that those were before 9:00. Lastly, when my son took a bite of scrambled eggs from the buffet, he pulled a long hair out of his mouth that was cooked into the eggs. His hair is not that long so it couldn't have been his. The hotel DID pay for our breakfast. When I complained about everything that didn't work in the suite, they only offered a $50 gift card for a return visit to the hotel. I paid $900 for that room so it was an insult to be offered $50 that could only be used if we return. Such a disappointment.
The food is the best. The grill cook is amazing- and she cooks better than anyone! That's my girlfriend , but she didnt tell me to say that. Ha!
Great service, beautiful views
Great place for a retreat.
Was here in business but would love to bring the family. Great views and and beautiful scenery. Not to mention the hospitality is awesome! Top notch
I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I would suggest finding an air bnb. To start, the front desk doesn’t know anything. They will put you on hold, forget about you, and 9 times out of 10 you are going to be lied to. Also, the walls are paper thin. The people above us woke up at 5:30 am, and sound like they have been wrestling all morning. The rooms are old and not very clean. I wouldn’t suggest putting your child in the bathtub, as the water comes out with a tint of green. Please do yourself a favor and find a different place to stay!
Attended a work Christmas party here and it is beautiful inside. Vaulted ceilings and a beautifully modern but cozy look inside gives you all the feels of a mountain cabin. Love this place, and the hot tub in the winter.. ooh baby, aaand the pool is heated pf course.. very nice, looove.
Without a doubt the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is a beautiful venue for a wedding. However, I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. Be careful when making reservations online, as some of their deals/offers are a bit deceiving. I was still charged over $300 for a room that we cancelled well more than 72 hours in advance. When i asked the manager for a refund because apparently I misunderstood the prepayment deal, he refused. When I complained about some other issues we had during our stay, only then did he agree to refund the cancelled room. However, I am still waiting for a reply and a refund two weeks later. For couples looking to wed there, please beware and know that their wedding coordinating and customer service is not great. It was/is very difficult communicating with their wedding/customer services.
Nice people but unfortunately we were there when there was no power, no heat and in our case no way down the mountain. The insult to injury was still being charged for the room.
Beautiful place, great view! Pool table, foosball and tennis table. They had Christmas trees up right before Thanksgiving. Beautiful lobby and many areas to hang out, inside and outside.
Gorgeous scenery with peace and quiet.
I enjoyed the service and faculty. The staff takes great care of you and your needs. The view is outstanding, as is the beautiful sunset/ sunrise! I went in the fall on a beautiful November day! I highly recommend the spa.????
Our weekend was spent in quiet siren accommodations. The time spent here was well worth the price. Staff accommodations lived up to our expectations, as well as the quality of the premises. The valet was quick and friendly, as well as the service from the restaurant . We had breakfast Saturday, morning and everything was delicioys. My spa treatment was outstanding and my husband and I would certainly come again.
The Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is truly an experience. It has everything you can dream of for a hotel. The beauty of the hotel is what first captivates you, however once you see the restaurant and spa, you will realize this hotel has everything you can want for a vacation stay. It is located in Lake Arrowhead just next to the village and overlooks the lake. From the moment you enter the hotel, you can tell this is first class luxury. You feel like you are going to be treated like you are important and your stay is going to be great, which it was. We stayed Nov 8th and Nov 9th on the 3rd floor and everything from our room, spa, restaurant, and overall experience was outstanding and we felt like we were living the life of a celebrity. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant (Bin 189) and this is a very nice restaurant. We got to the meet the chef, and the restaurant has a huge bar, a large dinning area and a great view as well. They have outdoor seating with a big patio area overlooking the lake. The hotel also has a spa and let me begin by saying this spa is located on the first floor and is literally the best spa I have ever seen. We were greeted by the Spa Director and she took us on a tour. The spa has everything you can dream of including a yoga room, a fitness center, a huge area for massages, facials, and its own salon. The room we stayed in has an outdoor balcony which overlooks the lake and you can sit outside and feel the smog-free air and take in the surroundings and escape from everything in your hustle-bustle world. You simply feel like you have left everything behind coming to this hotel. The parking area is huge and there is a lot of handicap spots and valet parking as well. We were always able to find a good spot to park. The hotel has a game room too and small area to buy some snacks. The room was clean and super comfortable with cable tv, free wi-fi, and was spacious. The shower and bathroom areas were big. The view from the room, once again, is killer, and kept us going to window several times :) The one thing that we can say about our stay is that everyone at the hotel was super friendly and treated us very well. The hotel is beautiful and all the amenities make this stay truly a wonderful experience. 5 stars all the way. They are going to make some upgrades (I heard) during the next few months and I am eager to go back in January or February, 2020. I hope you find your way to the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa one of these days. It is truly an incredible experience. Both Beth and I loved it and we will be going back for sure.
Nice place had lots to do very chilled
Very nice hotel and customer service
Lovely grounds in a perfect location! Easy walk to town, right around the corner. Disconnect and relax!
We had an excellent stay. The staff was friendly and the room was beautiful. The resort is within walking distance of the village and other attractions are a short drive away.
Is a nice place, beautiful views and the feeling of the forest is great
The hotel canceled 10 rooms and stranded 26 people both the Thursday and Friday before the Saturday wedding. The wedding party, family, guests, etc. Even the bride and groom lost their room. It is a Marriot autograph resort. The resort blamed Marriot for overbooking, and Marriot blamed the resort. Both actually admitted that, yes, they gave our rooms to higher-paying customers since we had booked our rooms several months earlier. Shame on both the resort and Marriot. Marriot also offered a sad excuse to read the fine print. They can cancel your room at any time for no reason. My reservation did not contain this "fine print". The fact that we are Marriot Bonvoy members with many points in our account did not matter either. The fact we booked directly with the resort did not matter. Shame on both Marriot and Lake Arrowhead Resort. AVOID MARRIOT hotels and this resort.
a great place for a little r&r. costs add up fast, so don't be surprised when you get the final bill. within walking distance of the a village and the town!
Love this place, had visited many times
Beauiful place geat staff, Thank you for making my sons wedding perfect
Very nice place! I especially love the lake view rooms and shower. Staff very friendly. Great bar and food.
Great location and excellent service. Daniel at the front desk noticed a group walk in front me while I was waiting in line to check in and he kindly advised them I was already waiting in line. It's the small things that make a difference and this resort should be happy to have good employees. Also Joseph from the restaurant went out of his way to make sure we got what we ordered even thou it was off menu. Would of given a 5 star but noisy upstairs neighbors.
Nice facility, friendly staff..decent bar, great patio. Pool table just off the main lobby ????????????????
Staff is all well trained .
Excellent place to relax
Lake access was nice, kayak tour was great, room is small and old, all in all not worth the money. Just ok overall.
Still here and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The room is nice. Easy access to lake shore. My only observation is the doors slam closed so if someone in a room next to is coming going a lot you will know about it. It didn't disturb me or my baby but it may be helpful for those light sleepers out there.
The hotels beautiful The Kooks are great and the food's even better A+
Suprise, suprise.... lake front, clean beach, and a spa! Had a great time at the resort. Rooms are a little dated and ready for repairs.
Giving just one star because the bartender was beyond exceptional in Bin 186. As a Marriott member for 17 years this was the worst stay at a Marriott property. If you book at a good price and then ask for an upgrade as a gold member. Then you are told this is available and are offered lake view with balcony as long as you are willing to wait. We thought this was a very reasonable thing to ask so we went into the bar and dropped a couple hundred $$ on drinks while waiting. Once the room became available we entered a room that was not the one offered to us. So we asked for what we were offered and waited for. After much arguing (customer service?) that we booked a $99 room (good business on our part) we should be glad we received an upgrade at all. This is how a Marriott member is treated? So we asked to speak with the manager who was already gone and he would speak with us the following day. We did get a room with a balcony minus lake view. Following day no call from manager. I went to the front desk and spoke with him about what had transpired. But then I realized he trained the others I had spoken with as he made me feel as if $99 was my fault also. Booking a room as a Marriott member and finding a deal is a crime? I was not asking for a decrease on the room rate. Just make the situation right some way. Comp breakfast or drinks but nothing was offered just "you paid for a $99 room". Avoid this property especially if you are a Marriot member as it does not have the customer service you would be accustomed.
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! They gave me keys to someone else’s room, their room service never answers their phone and for the price of each room, the room was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and you are better off staying at an Airbnb
Great place to spend with Family
Location, scenery, food - amazing!
Disgusting. Only 1 of our 2 rooms was ready at check-in time, house keeping was apparently still working on the other. We went into the "clean" rooms to find clearly visible food all over the carpet and ants crawling around. In the e found a large clearly visible patch of black mold over the shower. The fan in the bathroom was also completely inoperable. We were switched to new rooms that had almost identical problems. Not a single fan in four bathrooms was working. The ceilings near every bathroom had visible and unrepaired water damage. This was completely unacceptable. I'm cancelling my reservation and going to have to drive back 3 hours after a wedding tonight because this hotel can't even meet basic health standards.
Absolutely love this beautiful mountain resort and community. It’s so close to LA and you are in another world.
I stay a week at Big Bear and always stop at Lake Arrowhead Lodge for lunch on the way home. I get the mango salad as it is wonderful. Great tradition.
One of the best places to stay in Lake Arrowhead. Very great location. Right on the lake. Good for summer and winter. Nice rooms with views. Bar is also very good with good selection and really good service. Overall its an amazing resort and my number one choice in Arrowhead
I want to love this hotel! We come here often and the resort itself is lovely. But the service we had our last stay was dismal at best. From check in, the restaurant and pool staff, we were left feeling very frustrated. We just waited over an hour to get lukewarm tea and toast at the restaurant. At check in we got several calls that our room was ready only to find out it wasn't ready. The front desk staff didn't know if there was towels at the pool we could use. Hopefully this was just an off visit.
Parking was horrible due to teacher conference
Excellent service and amenities
The resort is very nice. Good sized rooms which are well appointed and clean. On the lake. The lake is private, but hotel guests have some limited access. Great place to go to relax. Not much to do in the area. Water skiing lessons and a boat tour are available in the village.
The staff is awesome. Charles, Louise, Katelyn and Rebecca. Two thumbs up.
Beautiful Venue and great place for a wedding/reception. My daughter AND my niece, both, had their weddings there.
Best place to stay in. Good food, great location. Had pianos to practice if you're a pianist ????
The location is beautiful but for the cost of the rooms they were just not up to standard ( shower curtain for a closet door!) The check in process was awful! Despite numerous calls to verify our reservation and request an early check in the rooms were unavailable when we arrived, some until after 430p. The names on some the rooms were incorrect ..a real headache and the check in staff were not very apologetic. Food was average and over priced
Lovely property next to Villiage area. Popular wedding venue. Lake side beach area. Nice pool area with pool bar. Good restaurant and coffee shop on side. A bit of wear and tear can be seen in rooms.
Always had an awesome experience
Beautifully situated on the lake adjacent to Lake Arrowhead Village...a 5 minute walk. Hotel is very old, built in 1982. While there have been two renovations, the latest in April of 2018, it appears mostly cosmetic. Recently stayed there for a wedding. We had a very nice room with balcony and lake view, but the walls are very thin... really noisy. We heard every move our upstairs neighbors made! Hallway floors are creaky. Food was delicious. Nice bar with friendly staff, but food and drinks are way overpriced. It is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. Overall, it's a nice hotel but overrated in my opinion.
Joe “Big Papa” P.
Very nice hotel with nice staff and amazing views. Make sure to request a lake view room or you may be stuck with a view of the parking lot (still a nice view ????). The beds are decent and the bathrooms are clean and nice. Great hotel for anyone visiting the lake!
Loved the spa and pool.
Make sure you reserve a balcony room - Lakeside view.......Excellent !!!
I have been here for my last two anniversaries. I love the location and the weather here in June. The staff is lovely and accommodating. You even get an email from the front desk staff when you make your reservation, welcoming you before you even get there. Bedding is comfortable and the place is well kept. Plenty of open area places to sit and chat. My only knock on the place is the price for food. It is fine and there are other eating choices close by but sometimes you want to just eat where you are and the choice and price is a bit much. Food is good.
Walked by, didn't go in.
Loved the lake view
It was okay, it wasn’t the best for the price... i woke up every time a neighbor flushed the toilets, walls are very thin, doors slammed very loud to make you think someone is coming in especially if your alone and woke up to probably kids running back and forth at like 6 am from the second floor. And the do not have any robes???? I don’t believe I’ll staying here again.
If this hotel cost closer to $160/ night then my review would be so different. But at $340 the value is sorely lacking. This is an old hotel. The walls are thin, floors are even thinner. Today the elephants above us woke all of us up- again. We checked in and didn’t get the platinum upgrade we were promised. They claimed they didn’t have a suite for us but the hotel was hardly full. Then the housekeeping didn’t come until 5pm after 3 requests. One of the 2 spas is out of order for weeks. The one Spa was crowded and smelled like poop. Rusted banisters, spider webs, thick trees blocking the view, small beach, torn headboard, showers flooded, dead bugs, broken bathroom hardware, small pool and the free continental breakfast was a 2 inch pastry and a nice size and tasty bowl of fruit. They offer residents memberships to the facilities so sometimes the pool/spa fills up with teens/young adults who wear inappropriate bathing suits and non-family friendly language. It’s the best hotel on the lake and so convenient to the market and shops. The views are incredible. The best part of our stay was a boat ride ($145 for 50 minutes) we took with Captain Matthew. He is an amazing asset to the hotel and town. If the price doesn’t bother you then be sure to get a top floor room NOT over the pool. When we come back we will look for a condo rental. I just feel like whoever awarded this hotel a 4 diamond this year has questionable integrity.
I don't know if it's just an old placer it run down or seems like nothing works when we arrived there was no bellhop no valet guy not a very good experience with the Marriott. I had to move us 3 times because the air conditioner didn't work I requested a walk in shower just actually it was a nightmare. Definitely won't be coming back there.
Derrick the bartender is the reason, the food is pretty good too.
Amazing people, staff . Weather was amazing great. I had such a wonder time
This hotel is very nice. It over looks Lake arrowhead and is definitely a romantic place to bring that special someone. Parking is decent and there is some good food places within walking distance. I loved how friendly the staff was and the restaurant. Definitely coming back again.
Beautiful views of the lake. Great bar and friendly customer service.
Ski Lodge feeling. Walk to town. Clean. Good service. Breakfast pretty good. Pretty view of lake. Outdoor spa very pleasant & relaxing. Should have orderedarha
The friendliest place I have seen in many years.
Very nice place
Relaxing, calming and comforting. Plus the village area... Wonderful.
Great location, balcony room overlooking the Lake. Daniel was pleasant and helpful. Suggestions: Inform guests of $75/day additional charges on credit card for amenities, unused to be refunded; Replace one of the two in-room safes with a small refrigerator. Offer an Express Check Out option.
Okay so let me write it all down this may take a while because I have a LOT to say :)... Before I went to this hotel I read all the reveiws (by that I mean all I can read) and was reaaly unimpressed. So I set my expections really lox so I could enjoy myself. When I got to Lake Arrowhead my family and I had trouble finding the hotel. There were no signs to guide you to the hotel. My family and I also went with another family who came hours before. We called them and they told us to go to the village. So we went there and they lead us to the hotel. Turn out we passed it a ton a timed looking for it >:(. I was sooooo frustrated everyone was so tired from the ride we were just dead inside. We entered the hotel and went over to the front desk. The guy there (Daniel) gave us our key card and told us were our room was. So we went over to our room and I have to admit I was unimpressed. The room was so small for what we paid!! I just sighed and placed down my stuff. Now i'm not going to waste my time or your time writing this so let me just to the point. ~Pool is nice ~Game room is amazing ~spa is too expensive ~Food is too expensive ~Heater is too loud ~You could hear EVERYTHING that was going on outside and on the floor above ~I'm a picky person Over all my experince was horrible so yeah. I DO NOT RECOMEND Thank You for your time :), Ohanna
Great view. There was an Easter Service on the beach and it was excellent.
Over priced lousy Bed ,no running trails, and work out room limited with a basement feel ,no windows
Had to recode keys 3 times. Blame myself
Nice hotel and staff....
So far so good. The place is beautiful.
Will come back to this hotel.. Beautiful rooms & suites
Stayed here for 1 night in mid-March. They were nice enough to upgrade me to one of their balcony rooms which was spacious, clean, comfortable and had an amazing view of Lake Arrowhead. It was ab bit chilly during this time, but all worth the getaway. The property facilities are well kept and you feel like your are home away from home. The staff is professional and will go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your time. Definitely staying here when I visit Lake Arrowhead again. Hopefully this time during the summer to enjoy some of the summer recreational activities. Kuddos to the entire Team for going that extra mile!!
The only thing better than the spa and view is Regina at the front desk. Thank you for the 5 star service
Gorgeous hotel and lovely setting. A real winter wonderland just an hour from LA. Really liked the swimming pool and hot spa. Room was comfy. And the bar / fireplace was a great place to spend the evening sipping over a warm toddy after a day of skiing.
(Translated by Google) A very good hotel in the mountains as it should be. Every visit is like the first time. Very good address ... (Original) Un hotel très de bon standing en montagne comme il se doit. Chaque visite est comme la premiere fois. Très bonne adresse...
This place is old! Redone lobby, but not the rooms. 2nd floor is loud with people above you stomping around. Overpriced, bad customer service.
I was skeptical in staying a night here because of the reviews. I went to Big Bear with the family for a weekend trip and we needed a place to stay for the night. Well I was proven wrong because our stay was amazing. We arrived after 4pm and the hotel clerk who checked us in was very nice. She went over the hotel’s facilities and what local activities to do in Lake Arrowhead. The room we stayed in was #346 in the West Wing. It had a king bed, a pull-out couch, small writing table, tv, and bathroom. The view from the room was awesome. You could see a portion of the lake and some of the other houses along the shore. The room, bed sheets, and bathroom were clean. There was Starbucks coffee pods and tea. The coffee maker was working fine. The only thing was there was no water in the room. We had extra water bottles to use. I didn’t know where we could get water, but it would’ve been nice if there were water bottles in the first place. The hotel has a parking lot so that’s nice that you can park your car without having to get valet. The hotel has a spa, a pool, and a tiny private shore to the lake. Overall, our stay was nice and it’s a place that will be considered again for the future.
Beautiful lobby and excellent customer service. The game room was a lot of fun for kids. The restaurant was very pricey, but the food was very good (although a bit overpriced). Short walk to the Village was very convenient, and the pool was heated and comfortable even when it was very cold outside. I'm only giving 3 stars because the beds were unbelievably uncomfortable (lumpy and hard) and the floors above us were so squeaky that earplugs couldn't drown out the noise. The beds would have been unacceptable in a Motel 6, let alone a relatively expensive resort property. We slept terribly both nights because of the uncomfortable beds and the loud squeaking floor above us.
Nice hotel with good views of the lake. Personally I found the beds to be a little too soft and not very comfortable. The restaurant is nice and the meal quality is generally pretty good. If you want a quiet meal they do not children in the main dining room, over sitting families in a particular area and smaller adult parties in another so it can get noisey which is a shame.
Could not have asked for a better weekend trip! Will return soon!
Exceptionally Amazing Food we really love the Ahi Tuna salad, great service as well!!!
Jeff P (.
Great location, well kept and fantastic hospitality. Close to a small village and grocery store is walking distance.
Love this place Hotel awesome pool heated
Nice views. Great food
Saw Torey Spelling...was so cool!!!!
Beautiful place. But we had a bad experienced sleeping. Our bed was SO uncomfortable ???? and lumpy!Floor upstairs sqeeked badly. *We enjoyed going to the Village down below (walking distance) Near by market Stater Brother's Best place to eat was 'The Grill". Resort was all booked up.
I worked there they are cheap with some things but a pretty nice place to stay on vacation.
Always a beautiful resort with lovely staff. Room service is awesome. Food is delivered promptly, hot and actually tastes great. Easy drive to the slopes. Beautiful views anytime of the year. Walking distance to the grocery store and other restaurants. Excellent cocktails, breakfast and appetizers (haven't had dinner) at Bin 159 in the hotel. Its important to mention the the beachfront room upgrade is TOTALLY worth it. Not just for the views, but the space of the room and very romantic jetted tub and shower. Ample space in tub for 2 adults. Not small adults. I'm 5'10" and husband is 6' and bodybuilder. Plenty of space between living and sleeping area to stretch out and enjoy a glass or two (or three) of champagne.
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa was surprisingly nice. Loved the lobby and customer service. The room could have been kept up a bit better (a sliding door for the restroom was a bit slanted and didn't close all the way, plus some stained sheets.) It felt fine and comfortable though. We would stay again.
Beautiful resort and great staff Dennis from the front desk was awesome in getting us our room quickly.
Very rude staff in front desk and cafe shop inside the resort. The only staff who had some kind of sense of customer service were the house keepers and valet staff. I’m not expecting to be treated like royalty, but I don’t need the ladies in front desk rolling their eyes and being short when asked simple questions from a first time guest. I guess they don’t appreciate my business here. Will never stay here again.
Aesthetic was ok, not great. The amenities and services were also ok but priced a but high. Restaurant, cafe, and rooms are pricey - expected a lot more for the price.
Very comfortable stay

(Translated by Google) Very nice and nice hotel, according to the environment, good cuisine and variety of drinks .. accessible at check-in (Original) Muy bonito y agradable hotel, acordé al entorno, buena cocina y variedad de bebidas.. accesibles en los checkous
Pros: the views, very clean, great staff, beautiful location. Cons: stayed on the first floor of the west wing, could hear the neighbors conversations and there was a door adjoining the rooms, the child (I hope) in their room kept messing with the door knob which was unsettling. There is no lock on the bathroom door and when it closes, it's a sliding door with gaps, so there's no privacy regarding what's going on in the bathroom.
Excellent staff and facilities, helpful fitness classes, and good equipment. I love every aspect of this gym/spa except that the showers take a little bit too long to heat up. Everything else is great.
There were boogers on the ceiling so we had to move rooms.
Great place to stay right on the lake...they even ordered Christmas morning snow! Highly recommend!
I had a completely unrelaxing and terrible stay at this "resort". This place could really be top notch if they re-hired and re-trained their entire hospitality staff. The grounds and nature surrounding the hotel were beautiful and there were a few nice walking paths throughout, however a lot of work needs to be done to elevate this to luxury level. It was very noisy, the pool seemed like it was only for children, and the staff was overbearing and rude.

Such a gorgeous location for a wedding!!
Cozy marriott property four min walk to village
Ever in the area i would highly recommend visiting here. Like a random picnic. Or something. Its gorgeous. And service here is great!!
The location is right in the heart of everything there is to do in arrowhead. Great service and staff. Full bar and great food
This was a great place to take my family and my pet . I will go back LOVED IT!
We loved it!!...
Loved the snow
Stayed here in 2012(see profile pic). It's been remodeled and redone since then, but it's still very nice.
Nice and cozy place to stay when you visit Lake arrowhead. Kind friend desk prompt housekeeping service but room is little smaller than other Marriott hotel and it was little noise even after 11pm. You can hear everything from next room...
Great location, friendly staff, property is good but could probably do with a remodel.
We had a great time here and were treated like total v.I.ps
Outdated. Staff uncaring, roomservice slow the worst management

It was good except the food was gross and a lot of channels didnt work.
It's a really charming and wonderful place. A little cold during the winter though.
This resort is nice the amenities are very modern and luxurious and I highly recommend the spa. It is also very close to the arrowhead village within walking distance. My only complaint was that on site food was lacking and your typical hotel food.
We were there for Santa's Village and found it to be a great location nearby all the winter activities. Inside the hotel had great things going on for kids all the time.
Great place to stay :)
This is a classy place that is sometimes sold out
Wow!! Stunning! Much more than expected!!
Not very clean, the visitors are rude, especially the drunks
I enjoyed my stay
James Earl M.
This was the annual taste event. We had a good time at the event. The food was excellent this year.
Great place to eat, lounge and relax, workout, swim, get facials and massages, go for a walk and whatever you can imagine.
Great food. Just a nice place.
Lived up to expectations.
This is basically the only full service hotel on the mountain. The lobby and restaurant are gorgeous. I've stayed in different rooms the past 4 times I've stayed and they are pretty comfy but could use a facelift. This latest visit was a quick one for us but it was overall a positive time as far as check in, stay and check out goes.
The perfect combination of luxury and excellent customer service. They are offering everything that you need for a perfect getaway.
Beautiful place to stay
Very clean and wonderful amenities
Beautiful place in a very scenic area. Hot tubs, pools, restaurants and bars, and much more to do and all on gorgeous lake Arrowhead.
Nelson B. R.
Nice hotel and staff
This Resort is nothing less than true Marriott Hospitality.
Wonderful place to get married and have a reception. Absolutely beautiful!
The hotel staff service is great and the rooms are comfortable, but the Restaurant is WAY too slow. We were one of two tables (5 people total between the two) and it took over an hour for the food to come out, and it wasn’t hot. I will never eat there again, but I will stay there again. The rest of the place is great.
Gorgeous. Memories will last a lifetime. Plenty of ducks. Quack quack!
This place blows goats
Great place to relax.
The placement of the resort is great. It has access to the lake with a private beach as well as a private dock. Through no fault of the resort, some guest can be a bit loud. Overall, a great place to stay. Bonus points for being near most points of interest.
Great location. Service is great. The renovated gym is welcoming.
Great place, big room, clean, lots of pluses, if there's a negative it's a bit pricey. I would stay here again.
Beautiful venue for a weekend wedding in the mountains
Wonderful deep tissue massage and.a lovely facial. Aweeee
Bed was horrible. Mattress was slanted. hair dryer started smoking and burned my hair. no ice machine. spa was nice but stuff was closed down.
Not worth the price at all. Mattres was lopsided, shower had mold, walls were very thin, and leaf blowers were running outside our room at 8am. On the plus side, staff was very friendly and the spa was nice.
While doing a photoshoot, my client and I decided to have drinks in the bar at Bin 189. What an incredible setting, complimented by friendly staff and a gorgeous Hotel.
Great venue for a wedding
All the outside and they look a little run-down, the inside is very nice. Complete with a bar, restaurant, gym, and pool, the place is nicer than I expected. The location is pretty good, right next to the Arrowhead Village and then walking distance to the lake.
Excellent property, great service and very nice rooms. They should hire more staff in the restaurant/bar area though. Especially on the weekends. Still....a 5 star resort!
Great place to relax. Great service. We went to a wedding and It was very well organised. Be spend alot of money.
Getting married in June so my fiance and I wanted to check out the hotel beforehand as a weekend getaway. The hotel is very beautiful with the nicest staff. The room was decent, although one of the lamps didn't work and we needed to call to get our AC fixed, which was quick and easy. The details are nice, however I think some basics are missing. No mini fridge or microwave. The bed is not facing the TV so we sat on the couch most of our time in the room. The restaurant has wonderful food and tasty drinks. Cannot wait to come back in June for our wedding.
Pricey but nice view and good food. The hotel is pet friendly which can make our difficult at times for those without dogs.
Comfy bed, great location. Had a room next to a wedding reception, so it got a little crazy. Their bar is super nice, and within walking distance of the village.
Very beautiful place!
Very busy hotel.
Great service. Great location, right on the lake with nice beach and walking distance to the village. Nice lobby with good restaurant. Rooms are so so, need to be redone, but otherwise great spot.
It’s a nice hotel.
Beautiful location!! The drive up was a nailbiter for me.
Locale is good. Food ok. DJ was great (DJ Clay). Was expecting more upscale. Little things like chipped pain on outside and some carpet needing cleaning distract from the overall appearance
Great place to stay with exceptional staff
Beautiful location! Service here is amazing, food is very good, and most importantly the beds are SO comfortable!
Very lovely location with very friendly staff. The conference rooms had comfortable chairs and tables as well as trouble free WiFi. Overall very nice facility and the drive from LA was fun.
The Best For Many Years.
Excellent Resort, would definitely go back!
(Translated by Google) Beautiful scenery near the lake, summer must come to a very hot summer. (Original) ????????????????????
Recently stayed a week there with my church. Fabulous. Beautiful view from my room. Wish to personally thank Heidy at the front desk and Jovi my room maid. Viva Quanajuato!
Nice hotel. Rooms were spacious. We had Mexican food and it was good. The dinner at the terrace was great. Though it has a swimming pool, a dip in the lake is recommended.
Pros: Beds are comfy, amenities are good. Food is good, if pricey (but no more pricey than one would expect at a hotel anyway). Nearby activities are good. View to lake from room is lovely. Cons: TV channels to access hotel info/amenities did not work. Phone shortcut labeled to room service connected to the spa instead. No room service info in room since TV info channel wasn't working, so I referred to their website to place an order. Sound insulation between room and hallway is not great. Overall I would stay here again. October is a good time of year for it.
Our room faced the lake and it was gorgeous. Customer service was great as well.

Great place to relax and have a great time with Family
I was here for a weekend wedding and it was beautiful. The location really can’t be topped. The only downside is there was a lot of construction going on, but I assume that’s only temporary
(Translated by Google) Very nice! (Original) Muy bonita!
Very nice facility.
Stayed two nights at the of September. The property is gorgeous, inside and out. We enjoyed the drinks and dinner at the restaurant, and loved the couple's massage at the spa the next morning. I can't think of any way our stay could've been improved. Gorgeous all around.
Great stay, comfortable and quiet room.
To dusty in the summer and very boring no much to do in my opinion
Had a great time out on the lake
The place itself was okay, but for the price! Never again, I won't pay $300+ a night for a room that has Mold all over in the shower. Unbelievable!
It was good
Overall it was a great experience. I was here for a wedding so I didn't have a lot of time to enjoy all the amenities. Our room has a king bed with a pull-out couch. The bed was comfortable, but the pull-out couch bed was pretty uncomfortable. There was also a brown stain on our comforter. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. Would definitely stay here again
Their food is great and their bar even better. Victoria is a great waitress in the mornings. Ask for Derek at the bar. He makes a great, clean Margarita. Best I've ever had
Very nice staff and beautiful views
Came here to the Beutiful Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa to celebrate my 60th Birthday. We were greeted by the most wonderful Guest Services person by the name of Daniel he was so welcoming, gracious and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. The most exceptional service he even surprised me with a hand written note and complimentary cheese & crackers plate to wish me a Happy Birthday. Thanks Daniel you are Awesome!!!!
Great room and very friendly staff.

Very nice, clean, and modern. Definitely would come again
Had to cancel our reservations and talked to the hotel and they said they would not charge us but did anyway. Horrible, dishonest service. I’ve read nothing but bad service here so stay away.
Went up to Lake Arrowhead for a little vacation and was really happy with this hotel. When we got there on a Friday night, they had a movie by the pool on a big inflatable screen. The room they gave us had a perfect view for this, so we didn't even have to leave the room. Next day we went and enjoyed the pool for a bit. The pool was heated and they had an outdoor bar and grill right next to the pool that was really convenient. The best part of all was the private beach. They had a lot of lounge and adirondack chairs as well as a couple hammocks. It was very relaxing and fun to watch all the boats go by. They had lots of fun activities and food specials like the movie by the pool, making s'mores by campfire on the beach, and snow cones. I only had a couple things that were kind of annoying. The latch on the door to the room was stiff and took a little force to close. Not a big deal on it's own, but the second issue is that the soundproofing in the room wasn't the best. Hearing everyone slamming doors and someone's rambunctious kids running around above us at 6 am woke me up, but I'm kind of a light sleeper. Despite those minor issues, I really liked the location and amenities here and will definitely be back.
Clearly this hotel has cornered the Lake Arrowhead market and has little competition. We read the reviews, on Trip advisor and Marriott, so we knew we were taking a chance with our points. Well, like others have noted this is not an exceptional property and the management is clearly lacking. Upon checking there was very limited platinum recognition, in fact we were told we could only have free breakfast for one night? This has never happened to us as platinum guests at an SPG or Marriott property. We asked about an upgrade as they placed us a room with a parking lot view and were told there was nothing they could do about it....and we checked in before 4 pm (ie this was not a late night checkin). Rooms are just ok, pretty dated and worn. A curtain for a closet door? In this hotel category? A bit insulting. But the real kicker was when we opened the bedding for the sofa bed there was 6 pillowcases and zero sheets...what am I supposed to do with that? After calling I was assured the sheets would be right up, but I’m writing this review as I continue to wait for those sheets to arrive after my children’s bed time..... Overall, not a great way to spend 35k points a night but I guess they can get away with the terrible service and quality of hotel since there is no competition here.....
It's a wonderful getaway. Full service valet, bar, restaurant. Shhhh it's our secret.
Good place for summer.
This hotel is awful! Their were bedbugs on the sofa couch. Staff was rude. I recommend do not stay at this hotel. Doesn’t even deserve one star!

Not what I expected.
Excelent place to relax! Very family-friendly. Loved the private beach.
Great local getaway. A local hidden gem
Nice facility, but the front desk people could be nice and more willing to help. I booked through Expedia. Maybe if one books direct with the hotel they are more accommodating.
Really nice place to get away and enjoy a peaceful lake and mountain village
Housekeeper only every other day. Restaurant menu lacking.
Amazing views, close to so many fun things to do. Staff was polite and helpfuk
Great staff, comfy beds, awesome views! Such a great vacation!
This is a tough one. I started to write a terrible review when we stayed there in July, but Whitney was absolutely unbelievablly helpful, so I'll try to be nice. The hotel is stunning and the beach and trails are nice. Beware of rooms with non-working AC and be aware that if you request, and pay for, a lake-view room that you'll likely be overlooking the pool and accosted by a lot of noise from the occupants of the pool. Don't expect to enjoy a quiet evening on your balcony. Avoid the restaurant. The hostess is rude and the rest of the restaurant staff is completely incompetent. Also, the breakfast buffet is low quality and insubstantial. If you find yourself at this hotel and have any problems, be sure to talk to Whitney. She was just incredible!
It was nice but expensive.
Resort is great. Rooms are comfortable. Everyone is very friendly. The resort has a private access to the lake. Highly reccomend.
Worst service in dining area. Totally clueless Food was awful. Beautiful place. No idea about rooms or spa. But I wouldn't come for the restaurant ever.
Water Leaking from A/C in room. Dirty stained carpet. Management team seemed like they did not care that we had a major leak in our room. They just put us in a bottom floor room with balcony and offered no type of credit. It seems like half the hotel may be taken care of and the other half may be for people not staying that long. The hotel has potential. We used to visit in the past and the people were so nice, before it was Marriott. Now, not so good. My wife had a bad experience with her girlfriends about a year ago also. I expect a little more out of a 4 star resort..
Beautiful resort hotel on lake Arrowhead. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Direct access to the Lake is really nice. On the downside is the wait to be seated at the restaurant even when there obviously are tables available. This is especially annoying at breakfast, but buffet is great.
The venue and property are magnificent! Great room and dining options. There is plenty of shops and restaurants near by as well as the lake of course! I look forward to returning for an extended stay.
Definitely a fun place to be
Had a wonderful deep tissue massage. The ambiance is perfect, and the whole experience is very relaxing.
Beautiful area to visit everything close by and great people
The resort is very beautiful and spacious. There is a swimming pool and a private beach on the lake. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There are fitness classes, like Zumba, free for registered guests. Our room was very clean and had a balcony.
Very nice lounge to hang out and the beach was great with many activities like group guided kayaking. Great for families
Place is garbage.
Great spa experience, lovely access to lake and lots of activities, but with some restrictions as the lake is private. I would recommend staying here to anyone who doesn't live on the lake but wants to experience it.
It's a little pricy but it's nice all and all. The pool was a plus some or was mid 80's...
We're came here for a midweek weekend adventure. The hotel is very nice and all the employees have been wonderful. The only downside was the pool experience. The attendants were great, friendly and really helpful. The drawback was food. We were expecting the grill master to be around. He is available on the weekend but not during the week. So we went out and got some food and had to sneak it in due to the no outside food policy. Which would make sense when the grillmaster is there but not when he is absent.
Horrible. Stay somewhere else.
Lake front hotel & resort. Nice place to stay if u are in San Bernardino CA.
Enjoyed my visit. The only bright spot at the Lake
Nice hotel...recently under new managent and they are sprucing the place up. Still a lot of items to fix to make it what it should be. But they are getting there, would definitely stay again if the price was right. Location was unbeatable!
Great little gem of a town
Perfect wedding venue. Views are unbelievable. Staff are wonderful. This is inside the lake terrace room, where reception was. I highly recommend it.
Some interesting individuals in the spa in the mens changing room when I was in there..
Staff were friendly, helpful and enjoyable. Facility was well maintained. Views were beautiful.
Fewer offerings like poolside bar/grill and daily activities such as movie night and tie dyed shirts. Pool closes 1 hour earlier now. Outs like they dont want you to come back. Seriously reconsidering our annual family weekly stay.
Quite beauty, nestled on tall trees, very nice!!

Nice rooms, nice beds, the restaurant service is a little slow. I'll come back.
Great hotel in a nice place. The electric car charging is great as well. Will stay here again soon.
Hotel is not up to 4 diamond standards, it used to be nicer, but has not been kept up. My family stayed for 3 nights in July, and had to change rooms twice due to maintenance issues, and were not compensated for the trouble. Beautiful lobby, but overall hotel needs to be freshened up. Beds and pull out bed is very uncomfortable, kids said they felt springs in their backs, no mini-fridge, broken floor tiles, water dripping from ceiling AC, dirty and stained carpet. Went to the spa, it didn't feel clean. Beach was nice, but lake access is minimal. Have to pay to fish, or kayak. Room service advertised a pizza, when I called they said they weren't making pizzas, and I was in a bind for food, considering most village stores close around 8:00 during the week, and other room service is pricey. Nice view, if you get a lake view cabin, but you hear boats pretty early in the summer. I heard there is new management, please fix the deferred maintenance items and clean up the hotel, it used to be so nice, and we enjoyed staying here. Next time we will most likely rent a cabin.
Bar service and Food were great!
Great location. Nice amenities.

Beautiful hotel. Classy decor and friendly staff. My only complaint was the noise from thin walls. Otherwise, great place.
The views are great and the hotel staff are very friendly.
We just stayed here for our wedding anniversary and not impressed. When we first walked in I was excited and it looked beautiful but now I am disappointed. When we first got here to check in the lady was super nice and said I have a nice room on the third floor with a balcony view for you, you just need to wait. We were very happy. Then when we went to check in we were put on the first floor with our balcony at the pool. So no privacy and lots of noise. We called and asked n...icely if we could be put on the third like we were promised. We get to the third floor there is no balcony but instead a dirty window facing the parking lot. At that point we didn't want to complain again so we just dealt with it. We also had lunch here while we waited and the food and service was not good. It took forever for our food to get out (it was pricey and not good- go to town the foods way better) and then when we were done we waited another 15-20 min just to get the bill. This is our first time in lake arrowhead so I am very disappointed in this experience. I will not be staying here again. See More

We will stay here for now on!!! Hands down best the Mountain has to offer (been visiting over 30yrs). Now that resort is a Marriott AutographProperty the hotel & rooms r Stellar. Views of lake from my bed and especially on balcony. Just a few of the high level services offered Beach,Lounges, bars,Fine dining, boat or kayak rental, Spa, pool area, & Customer service is 'Out of Site'.
Hotel located at a nice location, lake vote timer have nice views, staff are friendly. However, this building is very old, and lots of features are outdated. Hallways to the rooms are Claustrophobic, low ceiling, and very hot during the summer. There seem to be no HVAC in there. Rooms with their HVAC on all day long can't get any cooler than 78 to 80 degrees. Hotel sent technicians twice to fix the issue. They tried their best, but the problem couldn't get fixed. We also had to wait over 30 min to get extra towels. Considering everything, this hotel is way too expensive and not worth staying there at all.
Our rooms were not really clean and the service was not good. The restaurants was understaffed and very, very slow. Marriott lounge was closed for unknown reasons. However when we decided to leave one day earlier, the manager was kind of accommodating and only charged us 75% of the prepaid rate for the early departure.
We had a room with a balcony facing the lake. Balcony has a table and chairs. Be aware the trees block the view on the lower floors. Nice pool for children. Depth from 2 feet to 6 feet. Not a big fan of the hotel restaurant. Food is too heavy and too many fried choices. Rooms are nice. Mattresses were comfortable, thermostat kept room at comfortable temperature. Dock for catch and release fishing was a nice experience. Small beach down the stairs from the pool is nice.
Friendly and helpful staff & luxurious, accommodations. Excellent protected Beach for children to swim.
Disappointed by the front desk and management service. I did run into a couple of employees that were pleasant and helpful. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. It’s more of a $100-200 a night stay. George (manager) is not a good fit for management. I could see why the service is the way it is and why employees aren’t happy. The place has potential with the right people in charge.
I’ve been here twice and I love it the food at the bar is too expensive though $30 for a burger ???? and it wasn’t even big
The lake is amazing! Such a peaceful getaway.
Very kind staff, and the hotel is beautiful! There is a little Towne village that is walking distance from the hotel with cute little shops, restaurants, a bank of America, and even a McDonald's. Highly recommend it!
My stay was for 2 days. I found the Hotel staff quite accommodating. The dinner meal was cooked correctly but I felt the meakbwas a bit small. I stayed here about a year and a half ago also for a business conference. The bar was well appointed as well.
Very clean resort with professional & friendly staff! We look forward to staying again soon.
We a nice stay here. We had a Lakeview room but really had to look to see the lake. One thing I must say is the service was great. I broke my leg the morning before we came up. They were extremely accommodating from the minute I stepped out of the car. They offered to wheel me to my room each time I got back. They were great to the rest of our party as well. The hotel is very close to the village.

The staff was very nice and respectful and the rooms were roomy clean and guest interaction was at a high level
They were perfect.
We always enjoy our time staying here! The main reason I can't give it 5-stars is due to the spa. In short, it's disgusting. It was disturbing last year and sadly, it also was on this trip. If it were appropriate to take photos inside the locker room I would have, but I can only describe: mystery goo in the steam room, 3 separate shower stalls that were completely out of body wash, every towel return overflowing on to the floor, every trash can overflowing on to the floor, feces on the toilet seat of the bathroom stall ...you get the idea. I still give the hotel 4-stars because it's my understanding the spa is an independently run business that shares the property. Nevertheless, the hotel needs to demand the spa improve their standards or consider canceling their lease and finding a new operator. It does reflect poorly on the resort as a whole and makes it difficult to recommend.
Not much of a restaurant for a Resourt of that price
Very neat and clean exceptional food and very relaxing.
Beautiful hotel. Spa and pool are very relaxing.
Was there for a brunch and the staff was great and the bathrooms were very clean.
This place os Beautiful. Love the Staff
Perfect for relaxing
Everything about the resort was beautiful but i was not informed the lake was private . I went up for just the day and I hopes of going into the water only to find out I couldn't go in. Instead i was directed down the way to Lake Gregory.
Nice view, food was so so
Nice location and would like to go back

Great place for lunch
One thing I can say to you about this place!!! STAY AWAY!!! Went there for a weekend. First Kristen the receptionist was rude and everytime we asked a question you could tell she is annoyed. The hotel is highway robbery everything is over priced and super expensive. We had roaches in our bathroom and on top of that at the end when we checked out we got double charged and now I'm disputing the second change with American express. We had 3 rooms total, they charged my friend for the 3 rooms and then they charged my card for one room called them and they said they can't see the charge and it's showing on my card $410 WTH. YOU CHARGED ME AND YOU CAN'T SEE IT? Be careful with this place. It's over rated and over priced for a weekend night, Saturday checkin and Sunday checkout we paid $415. It's my mistake we could have gone to way better places for this much money. Will never do it again!!!!!
Love this hotel! Always so accommodating!
Had dinner here with my association. Had the rosemary chicken with carrots and asparagus and mashed potatoes. Not bad. Of all the tummies the mashed potatoes were the best, yumm-ers
This a really good place to take the family during the summer time. It also looks like it would be a beautiful place to visit during winter from snow fall.
Very nice everything .. the people are so polite .. next year I'll go back

I always enjoy eating here.
Beautiful resort, excellent service, but it is in desperate need of upgrades. The AC system is so loud, it's impossible to sleep. The toilets are splashy.
The view on the lake is wonderful.
Beautiful. Nice terraces with good view of the lake. Good service throughout.
A little pricey, but worth it!
Attended a wedding here last weekend and it was so beautiful! Food was delicious and service was excellent!
Had our wedding here, and it was great! Special thanks to Marina and the rest of the staff.

Beautiful place...virws great. Food excellent
Great bar and restaurant service! Extremely friendly and helpful employees along with the beautiful location best on the mountain.
Perfect Bar in the mountains! Great selection for wine/cocktails
I love this place. It is again, pet friendly, pricing is good and it's centrally located. Staff is friendly and rooms are nice.
This hotel is amazing and the staff are so friendly, going above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Whitney helped to make the weekend stay extra special. The location is great, and everything is walking distance. An incredible get away!
The resort is wonderful for recharging your batteries from the grind of every day life. The view from our room gave us a view of the lake through tall pine trees. Listening to the birds and watching squirrels go about their day was enjoyable. The resort has a bartender that welcomes you like a friend and the restaurant staff is attentive and friendly. The interaction we had with the front desk staff and other staff at the resort was A+. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful mountain resort.
Just picked a friend up at this resort. I did not go in to see their room, but my picky friend gave them 4 out of 5 stars
Ugh this place is beautiful! Definitely good for a mini vacation! ?

I spend a beautiful time here, the view to the lake is awesome.
Great pet friendly hotel.
Order the steak, it is awesome but no military discount ????
Nice place, great views, but you'll pay heavily for the experience. Drinks at the bar are $$$.
Great venue for a wedding! Friendly staff!
Not up to Marriott high standards. Front desk ill informed about local area & unenthusiastic about one's arrival. Felt as though we were imposing. Restaurant food good but service was awful. Bartender was pleasant but a bit chatty. Would not return to this destination.

They have a lovely bar right on Lake Arrowhead. In the off season on the mountain, there's not a lot open at night. So this was a wonderful option in the evening for dessert and coffee. Nice fireplace. Nice wait staff. Nice view.
A great place to get away and relax.
This place is beautiful!
The view and ambiance were amazing. Very nice place, the staff was friendly, the bar was great.
Been here several times and really enjoy the property. It is large enough to stroll with your significant other while enjoying lake views. There is food available at the resort as well as nearby in the mall which is in easy walking distance. On a visit last year I reserved a room with a balcony and when I went to the room that was assigned to me....I opened the sliding door to see a patio, ground level and when I asked the front desk about this, they replied that a patio and a balcony are the same thing.....I let that little gem pass.
Five-star people managing a two-star property. Marriott should be ashamed. Outside of the wonderful people trying to maintain this dilapidated property, nothing qualifies this hotel to be in the Autograph Collection. The carpet flooring is stained and contaminated with gum. The furniture was new when Rick Springfield topped Kasey Kasem's American Top 40 and the lampshades are covered in mildew and water stains. I've stayed in cleaner Super 8's. Shortly before 5pm, housekeeping carts still cluttered the hallways and housekeeping staff walked into my room without so much as a knock on the door. My most disappointing stay at a Marriott property in over 20 years of patronage.

Amazing views and luxurious hotel.
It's a beautiful place for weddings service is wonderful the staff are wonderful
I really wanted to give 5 stars but they have a few things that prevented that. The staff is awesome very very helpful. The facility was going through some maintenance while we were there a lot of unfinished areas. We had the little ones so that also prevented our full enjoyment I would certainly recommend going for a nice parent escape but if not they can still provide a enjoyable experience.
We went there for lunch, there's plenty of parking; even if it looks kind of simple on the outside, it is very cozy on the inside, with mountain lodge decor and several fire places. The food was pretty good, service is fast and friendly. The tomato soup was delicious as well as the mushroom pasta, the Bolognese rigatoni tasty but too oily. Probably the most civilised place in town and the best views.
Lovely clean roomy facilities all around. Great value. Fine restaurant. Friendly attentive staff. Not crowded in March. No bath in our room but excellent shower, bed, view.
Awesome location, great Hotel Lobby and Bar. The staff is super friendly and does a great job. I expected better choices from the restaurant and bar menu. The rooms completely failed my expectation. Very dated, in dire need of repairs and upgrades. Carpet stains, stains on the walls, wallpaper about to peel off, toilet roll hanger about to drop. I was entertained by the cover for the closet, not a door but a shower curtain. The AC/Heat might or might not work but at least it's very noisy. This Hotel is certainly not a Marriott Autograph experience, you might expect.
The View off the hotel was amazing downstairs there was a restaurant, bar and small . Outside there was a pool and also there was a path to walk to the lake the view of the hotel was lovely.
It's a nice hotel.. Not the best Marriott we jade ever stayed with, but a nice stay
Peaceful and warm pool my kids loved it
Nice place to stay
The perfect resort for Lake Arrowhead. Walking in I feel like I'm taking a step into an old mountain lodge, yet it has an updated that feel that puts it right in modern day. The large fireplace is wonderful to enjoy in the cool weather. The hot tub is always bubbling. The rooms are nothing special, but they are a nice size and definitely fit the bill.
I typically do not write reviews/feedback and I can say that this is my first time providing a negative review, as my experience at Lake Arrowhead resort was nothing, but horrible. First of all, if you want to see how a person-who hates his job and everybody around him- looks like, I'll invite you to meet Andrea, "a front desk manager" at this report (according to herself). From the first moments of check in process, she started with a horrible attitude, talking about multiple things ranging from unavailable rooms/upgrades, to making fun of a service dog and expressing knowledge about State/Federal Laws (that service dog is not accepted under any Circumcetances in California!!, as well as lying about 2nd and 3rd floors not having balconies at all to give out the first floor ("the only available option")...She also never mentioned anything about resort fees and at the time of check out, she just gave out the invoice and said that there was a resort fee and I should have been aware of this myself!! In addition, she thought of herself as "The Boss" of the resort, as everybody at the front desk had to go through her to answer any questions to guests which was so funny. Second, the entire resort was and room quality was a mess...Sure, the lobby was nice and the lake view was beautiful, but my room didn't have working Wifi and when I called the front desk, they said that they do not have IT support for Wifi which was interesting...Then I realized that none of the Ice Machines work, and when I say "none" I mean literally "none of them". I actually tried all the floors and all the wings, and at the end ,I called the room service and after waiting for than 45 mins and not receiving ICE, I went to the restaurant and got the bucket of Ice filled myself... The Wifi, and Ice were just beginning of the issues. The Heater system in that resort was so old (according to their engineer), that it was making a loud noise when trying to start each time. Imagine that when you set a temperature and that a loud quirky noise will set off each time the Thermostat is trying to start the motor (Heater)...Someone told me that they are "trying" to replace them, but as of now, you will enjoy the entire night by not sleeping at all. The worst was, when I called them 4 times to send a technical to fix this, and they didn't send it until the day after. Finally, the same night and following early morning, when I went to complain about the situation, guess who I had to deal with? Yes, pretty Andrea. When I asked for her manager, she said, "I am the only manager" of this hotel and that basically there was no other higher ranks!! When I mentioned about the situation, she smiled and said were are an "Autograph Collection" and if I'm not happy I can check out right now, since there was no other rooms avilable ( I was supposed to stay for an additional day) and I actually did check out...Btw, not to mention that the "Complimentary Continental Breakfast" they offer at the hotel only includes Bread and Butter, and if you try their hot food (from buffet) ,they automatically charge you for Breakfast Upgrade ($10/person), which would have been fine if they explained in advance... In Summary, I being a consultant (Platinum Status with Marriott) I travel a lot for work (average 50-60% of my time) and this his was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had, despite the fact that this was supposed to be a pleasure trip...So if anyone is booming at this hotel, unless Andrea is replaced, good luck...
Beautiful Place. Not alot of options for dinning but great place..Close to the Village.
Very comfortable and classy ..
Planning to go
Good customer service and amenities. I love their amenities.
Lovely rooms and public area. Had some snow the night we stayed and most places we went we're warm and inviting, except for the hallway our conference took place at. A bit chilly... We also were shorted a chair for my husband for our group dinner. Strange that an odd number of chairs were put out for a marriage conference.
Peaceful and Relaxing...Just Awesome

Love everything about this place except the rooms fall short. The hotel is a 5 star experience with rooms that are a little behind the times, a little older and smaller. Service is great and the staff is friendly. The decor of the lobby is very warm and cozy. However, this property has seen better days with the rooms, where my unit sent me down long hallways to a unit that seemed like it was due for an update.
Great place but starting to need more basic maintenance,,, toilet paper holder falling off the wall, showers were not so Clean, carpet was dirty, sliding glass door didn't lock well, staff was very friendly, made me feel special, again over all a great place
My beloved hotel!
Absolutely beautiful Resort and Spa... Will definitely return!
Beautiful property, picturesque setting, the perfect escape from hustle and bustle. Plus access to great outdoors, skiing, hiking, boating and so much more!
Great place. . Comfortable. . Good spa. Restaurant is descent. . Reasonably priced

Exceptional service from the staff. We got snowed in this weekend and didnt know what to expect. The hotel really gave us the mountain experiness but with luxury. Derrick in the lounge was especially fabulous! We will be back.
Long wait for check-in, while no people in line
Very nice place. Beautiful rooms and a nice view
This place more then met my expectations! I want to get married here!!! Now, does my fiancé? Maybe yes ????????????
Nice hotel. Beautiful location and friendly staff. Decent food in the restaurant. Stayed for three nights and will definitely be coming back in the future
The rooms were very nice and the stuff was very accommodating the restaurant inside was a bit slow with service however we had a great staff member named Victoria that really helped us out and took care of us. The snow storm hit on Sunday night and we were stuck without any snow chains. We met some other people in the lobby that were also unable to leave and one of the baggage men named Michael overheard a speaking and he was nice enough to offer us a ride to the local auto supply store for us to buy chains in his 4 by 4 vehicle. Very nice of him and I don't know how we could have done it without him.
We were in the area for work and this was such a great place to stay. Definitely will be coming back to experience for a vacation!
Lake Arrowhead is an amazing getaway within 2 hours of Los Angeles, and this Resort is where we have stayed the last couple of times we've been. It's a solid four star resort, with aspirations to be a 5-star. The rooms are decently appointed, but it's beginning to look like it needs to be refurbished. One of the nicest things about this place is the proximity to the village, and the fact that you can get nice looking views of the lake from throughout the property. To drive to Big Bear is about 45 minutes, so if you're skiing it's actually possible to stay here and ski in Big Bear.
Katrina “Mrs. P” P.
We had never been to lake Arrowhead before and we were looking for a little retreat away from it all and this was where we chose. Never being here before we didn't know what to expect. Once we got here we loved it! Staff was friendly. The spa was amazing with a co Ed lounge, the food was yummy at bin 89. My husband didn't care for it to much, but I liked it. The room we stayed in was nice. We had to call housekeeping for some extra shampoo once and they delivered to us in a very quick manner. If you want snacks, food, or water for your room there is a stater brothers a very short walk away. We were very happy with our friendly relaxing experience.
Way to much fun. My guest and I both gained 10 pounds from their brilliant kitchen and Master Chef.
Nice rooms and property.
Nice place with a beautiful view of Lake Arrowhead. Staff is friendly and shows great service at all times. My only concern was the carpet from the rooms that is old and I will say not clean. Everything else is great
THIS PLACE SHOWED DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM to me and my husband on the day of 2/2/2018 and 2/3/2018. Unfortunately, it still exist but if your African American DON'T STAY HERE.....My overall experience at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa was great with my husband. The staff was nice and pleasant, the weather was great and we had a great time. The reason I gave this Hotel 2 stars is because when we checked our credit card balance I notice Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa charge an $250 without my husband or my knowledge. I called and left 3 message three different days for accounting and the manager and no one returned my call. I finally demanded to speak with the first desk, she said her manager was in a meeting and she can help me out. She said that we were charge an extra $250 because housekeeping said that we spoke in a non-smoking room. We did not smoke in the room at all, and when my husband did smoke he left the room and went outside the facility of the hotel. The only thing I can think of is that they were watching my husband enter in and out of the hotel and then once we left they stated we smoked in the room. They said they smelled a strong stitch of smoke in the room and assume we were smoking. They did not call to confirm if we did or didn't, they assumed. Remind you we were the only African- American couple there. They told my husband on the phone security came and tried to knock on our room door the night we stayed (that was a lie), my husband bought me a water, and benadryl from the convenient store in the hotel lobby the night we stayed no one said anything to him. I would have rated this hotel a 5, but after this experience and racial discrimination my husband and I experience, I give this hotel a 2 star (and I'm being nice about that).
Spacious warm environment. Beautiful views and decor
This is a great place as a weekend getaway or somewhere to bring the whole family. It is located right on Lake Arrowhead so there is a wonderful view.
Wonderful location to relax
Out standing facility.
All Sloppy No J.
Bomb food and the chef Kailee and bar tender brendin treated us so well!
Just there for a drink with friends! It's relaxing!
The heater wasn't working, and the service for the continental breakfast was not good. A server there was very inexperienced and gave us the wrong information. The manager did nothing to help.
An ok Resort. Needs updating. Needed to ask multiple times for towels to be brought to room. Very nice location and views but just lacking that attention to detail.
Wedding reception. Food came late. Steak was meh.
Stayed here for a wedding and was unimpressed with this hotel. They charge a premium price as a Marriott resort but do not provide a premium service. A couple of the issues identified: 1) food at reception was the worst, burnt steak that tasted like charcoal with over done vegetables and a bland salmon dish were the options. 2) paper-thin walls, couple here everything in my neighbors room who had decided to party and play music until past 1am resulting in little sleep for me. There were a few other issues but those were the big ones, once again this would not be a problem if they were half the cost but if you're charging a premium price for a resort, a premium experience is expected.
Beautiful resort, friendly service, clean.
Really nice rooms and fun with grandchildren
Relaxing mountain getaway!
Great location on the lake and right next to the village shops. Attentive staff and classy interior.
Great stay. My wife and I stayed in the Beachfront Suite for a weekend getaway while our children stayed with their grandma. The room was great although a bit over priced. The spa was good and most of the staff was great. We did the spa Ritual for two and fairly enjoyed it, although my wife definitely did more than I. Kimmi made the spa experience, she was amazing. Overall really good stay. The restaurant was good, walking distance to the village was great, and the resort overall was pretty nice.
Beautiful views, wonderful staff, 10/10 would recommend.
Nice hotel, very well maintained, really nice staff super helpful in the restaurant. Front desk staff could use some help in customer service but over all I'm very happy with my stay. I would for sure stay here again

If you're staying here visit this bar!!! Wonderful bar that stays open late! And amazing bartender. Live jazzy music in the background. Truly the highlight of my trip.
Bar was amazing. Go drink there if your in Lake Arrowhead.
This hotel is amazing! This place has an amazing pool, an arcade, beer and wine selection, and views of the lake. It also has nearby food places and great views at night. I recommend this place for anybody who enjoys staying in hotels that are grand.
I want to think that my room rate was a factor for the type of room we got, I refuse to think that everyone else pays $300+ per night + all the resort fees $8 per a bottle of water etc etc etc. Room 109 needs to go out of order until is decent enough to go back on inventory. You can tell FD agent was not happy because had to work on Christmas day no information about the hotel was provide at time of checking she asked if we wanted a room on the first or second floor so I said second please and she gave me a room on the first floor, what was the Point on asking ?she was not rude but not pleasant. Witnessed how rude the restaurant hostess was to an eldery woman who was trying to get a table for one person like it was a crime to eat by yourself. Duty wine glasses and room service trays were right outside our door when we arrive and were not picked up for several hours. We showered because we had to but we were really disgusted with the bathroom. Got coffee from the coffee shop the next morning, the attendant make us wait until she finish her conversation with her friend ( 5 to 10 minutes) We stopped at the front desk to ask couple of questions I'm sure the agent ( same person from checking) only heard me saying BLA BLA BLA because what I got from her was YES NO YES NO. To top it all off we couldn't sleep until 12 30am due to the noise coming from the guest upstairs walking-jumping dragging you name it. There is no Marriott culture here whatsoever or we just landed on the worst day possible. Views, lobby, bar and restaurant are very nice
Pricey but great location
Worst place had blood on my robe had blood on carpet
Such an amazing place!
Had a lake view room. We had five and they accommodated us with a roll away in addition to the two queens for only $25 a night. Parking easy and free. Lobby was really nice. The service was good. A lovely place to stay.
Awesome place to come for a weekend getaway! The room was beautiful as well as the grounds. Restaurants and shops were well within walking distance and there is also a great restaurant on site. There is a pool, jucuzzi and private beach to enjoy. Also spa and massage services. My husband and I went kayaking and our tour guide was fun and informative. We enjoyed our weekend stay and will definitly be back!
A very helpful staff, an awesome location.
Hotel is old and outdated
Ticks all the boxes..... Two night's stay in a Lakeside room was the perfect end to a difficult week. A wonderful hotel, great atmosphere, fabulous staff, stunning views and comfortable rooms. A delightful find
Attended "Taste of Arrowhead". Event was well thought out, and I make a lot of network connections, and sampled a lot of great food.
We were there for a wedding and it was lovely! Beautiful rooms, gorgeous setting, and delicious breakfast in the morning in the restaurant.
Staff was very friendly and quick to resolve issues, the overall ambiance was woodsy, yet upscale. The lobby was clean, has a nice entrance, plenty of parking, the room was neat, clean, i loved the shampoo/conditioner/lotion scent. A brisk walk to the lake and local shopping, which i advise any time after 9:30 am, as parking at the gift shops/restaurants becomes extremely limited during peak hours.
Nice place, very quiet and picturesque but it seems that the owners want to squeeze a little more profit. First Marriott property I've been to as an elite atatus holder that only offered continental breakfast, the rooms could use a refresh. The people seems nice enough, the wait staff were reasonably good and the food was tasty if not a little over priced even for a hotel. I probably wouldn't visit again because it was a destination for us, but for those local it would offer a nice change of scenery.
It was pretty good
Unfortunately my girlfriend and I were placed in the wrong room. We had reservations for a mountain view room and when we arrived, the front desk staff said we had a great spot with great views and they'd call us when it was ready. Our bags were tagged to room 376 and we waited while the room was readied. When we got the call, we were surprised to see room 371 and when we arrived to the room, we were greeted with a view of the parking lot. So disappointed. Went to ask the front desk if there was a mistake... and they said there was nothing that could be done. So we made a reservation for a mountain view room and were promised nice views but ended up with the parking lot no view room. So let down. So disappointed.
It would be nice if they had a board showing where the events are so you don't have to wander around looking for them.
Friendly staff, beautiful room
Great Hotel with very friendly staff! We loved it. Wanting to book a full week soon!
Really nice lobby. Some of the finishings of the room were either not maintained or cheap. ie the carpets weren't clean and the shower didn't look super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Great place and I don't want to go back home
Beautiful resort, great for weddings. Walkable village of shops and restaurants overlooking the lake.
The room was really nice, just took awhile to get our room.
Front desk fouled up credit card payment. Staff failed to repair plugged up shower drain. Overpriced restaurant served overcooked food along with stale rolls. Very disappointing.
Great place to stay.
Bad management that cannot provide good service. All other employees are top notch and the Spa is Awesome!
Beautiful lake backdrop, well- tended grounds. An idyllic spot for a business conference.
The hotel is great. Room service, always a plus. Food yummy. Spa, Jacuzzi, pool, steam room, all good and clean. Keep in mind, there is not a lot to do up here, but it's scenically fantastic and very relaxing.

Extremely beautiful place to get married. The restaurant has amazing food. I approve. The events employee is very friendly and helpful.
So far great.. they definitely have a lack of parking though. Ate at the restaurant was delicious. Beautiful veiw of the sunset from the balcony of my room.
Great venue. Went to attend a wedding. Wedding took place with great view of the lake. Inside of hotel was immaculate, and Ball room for the reception was tasteful and roomy.
Rooms are ok... Mostly clean. You're really paying for the location on the lake and the proximity to the village. The door on the room and walls are paper thin. I can hear everything in the hallways and neighboring rooms. There was a wedding here the first night we were here and there were a bunch of the drunk wedding guests playing football in the parking lot right outside my room.
So clean and the surounding area is very fun
Clean with great staff. Hector helped make my stay memorable.
Arrived today to re-run our wedding night on our 10th anniversary. After spending an hour on the phone weeks ago to ensure we'd get the same room we had 10 years ago, we arrived to find they didn't honor the request, and their desk manager Ashley basically told us to suck it up and she couldn't be bothered. Huge disappointment!
It was ok. I will go back.
5 star indeed
Very nice experience.staff was very nice.swimming, jacuzzi.
Great location for a quiet lakeside getaway. Close to shopping and dining.
Very impressed with the recent changes at this long running hotel. The building upgrades and Marriott partnership make it a pleasant experience.
Great service, Valet was professional and helped with my bags. I have been here 2 times and enjoyed every moment.
Excellent and very friendly.
Really wonderful and romantic place

The interior is great! I stopped by to use the restroom and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the interior was compared to the exterior of the building. The staff that I interacted with were friendly. I would definitely consider staying here if I lived further.

Only stayed here for one night bit the experience was terrific. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and quiet. Views from the restaurant were great as well. I would definitely stay here again.
great hotel, lots to do in the area.
The resort was absolutely beautiful. Friendly staff, gorgeous lobby, spacious pool and a private beach. It is also nearby the village shopping center which is an added bonus. The only complaint I might have is how the hotel has some off putting smell similar to a hospital. It could be the heater, but it's not that noticeable.
Very nice place small pool
No air conditioning in the lobby, hole in the ceiling, cake stand broke when my brother & his bride tried to cut their wedding cake, employees were loudly talking in their back room with the door open so I couldn't hear the speech. Their "Autograph collection" is just a ledger. Bar tender didn't know how to make a long Island ice tea, nor did she have the ingredients. And too expensive.
Staying in the hotel was a thoroughly relaxing experience even though it is pretty crowded on the weekends. I highly suggest taking a hike around the lake on the accompanying trail.
The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great! The kayaking is fun :)
Everyone was very nice. The ammenities were great. The smores were awesome.
Great place to stay in Lake Arrowhead

Very pleasant staff and welcoming environment.
Visited the restaurant/bar here, and attended a wedding here. Great place, all of the staff were very friendly and eager to help. Very nice facilities, and good food and drinks!
Beautiful resort. Pool is small and gets crowded but the rest of the amenities seem just right. The hotel itself is not too big , not too small. Parking included. Gym / spa area and great although not all of the lockers worked. We'll definitely be going back though.
So far so good. Cool little area right on the lake.
I wanted to book a spa package, but they don't answer the phones. It goes to voicemail, and they don't return calls. What business doesn't answer their phone? Poor showing!!
Although parking can be difficult, this hotel is conveniently located to walk to the lake and has valet included in the fee. The Village is nearby with shops and restaurants. The lobby is beautiful, the staff is friendly and hard-working, and the pool area is lively and serves food and has events for a price. The bottom floor has a spa area, though I did not person ally use this feature.
A little pricey but really wanted to spend the weekend in the mountains and escape the heat of the valley. Only wanted tho reserve one night, but the hotel only makes 2 night reservations on the weekend. Ok, so we'll stay 2 nights. The so called upscale restaurant (Bin189) had a small menu of burgers and sandwiches that was a little pricey. Staff was friendly, but slow. It took a long time to get it food. It's advertised as upscale, but there was karoke in the dining room. Th...ere was a nice outdoor patio with a good view of the lake. It wasn't mentioned on their website, but this hotel is dog friendly. Even in the restaurant, people bring their dogs of all sizes. The coffee shop (Aroma) is understaffed and slow. Large hole in wall and ceiling look troublesome. And large hole in floor by for is just covered with mat. Carefully watched my step as there is no warning of the hole in the floor. The pool are looks nice and inviting under the sun comes up. There are not enough chairs or lounges. There are too many loud and unruly kids. I got hit in the face and head 3 times by a ball. The staff fits nothing to monitor unruly kids, to many kids in hot tub, unsupervised kids in hot tub and kids running on the wet deck. They ran out of towels both days we were there. The beach is not handicapped accessible. They do offer a good deal of ice chest rental with drinks. Oh, there is no air conditioning in the lobby or hallways. The mountain folk may light a warm, stifling atmosphere, but I don't. It was just plain uncomfortable in the common areas. Our room was lathe and comfortable. 2 sinks in the bathroom sand lots of counter space. The room came with coffee maker, mini frig & safe. Surprised and disappointed there was no microwave. The carpet in the room had numerous stains. And the picture on the tv was horrible - fuzzy, grainy & static. We had no tub in our bathroom. The shower was not designed for a woman there was no ledge or step to facilitate shaving your legs. It was very uncomfortable to shave my legs in that shower. The spa area was nice. The locker rooms were large with many amenities. And the punch card system is a great idea. Will more than likely book a place to stay thru AirBNB or HomeAway for our next visit. The Marriott points just aren't with it. See More
This place has amazing staff. I cannot wait for my wedding later this year!
Its nice, but everything costs money, evem the beach chairs -_-
Took photos near by and the place was beautiful
Beautiful venue. So close to restaurants and activities. I'd come back here.
Beautiful atmosphere bartenders very nice
Beautiful place. As a vegan I wasn't crazy about the options provided for the wedding I attended. A grilled plate of vegetables is not a sufficient meal.
Great location away from the LA heat with lots of food near by.
The location is great. The only thing we didn't like was that booking had some problems. We had requested rooms in advance as a company and were given options to request eitger a king size bed or 2 queens. Then we were asked for lake view or Forrest. When we got to our rooms (about 50% of us), were incorrect. And the front desk said they were sold out, overbooked. So they couldnt make changes. That was very annoying. Also, besides the front desk, pool attendants, and one valley parker, most of the staff isn't too friendly. Especially one of the late night parking guys.... He was really rude to us. Screaming about a smoking section to us and multiple other guests.
Super nice views.
Location is close to the village .. good hotel for 2 night stay . . Good view of the lake . Staff is good
Having dinner on the patio of Bin 189 is always a great experience with the backdrop of Lake Arrowhead.
Restaurant was great
Stayed here for a wedding and everything was top notch. The room was beautiful and the balcony looked right out to the wedding! Food was very tasty as well at the restaurant. Parking is included with the resort fee, which is very reasonable as well.
I cannot believe that Marriott would allow this to be designated an Autograph Collection property. It is all out the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Horrible check in process. Filthy run down room. Loud parties in adjacent rooms all night. Awful.
Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful location! I would love to return in winter!
Kenneth Acosta (.
Fabulous hotel. Spa is a little pricey but good.
The good: location. Amazing setting on a beautiful lake. reception area grounds and overall decor awesome. Friendly staff. The not so good? Noisy overall. Pool noise, very loud door slamming all night which cuts right through to the rooms. Underwhelming food by far in the restaurant. bland salmon and overpriced (but good) drinks. I would stay again but would stay midweek off season , bring my own food or eat out and use earplugs.
Beautiful lake, resort very nice
Service and room were tremendous. Was upgraded to eagle suite and it was amazing. Breakfast buffet at 7 was also wonderful. Area around hotel is ok...a little boring. Hot during summer but hotel is still great. Staff even bether but in person. When calling hotel ahead of time hard to get someone on phone with patience.
Friendly and quick service. Comfortable and clean atmosphere.
Nice place but my parking lot view room with no balcony cost just as much as the nicer rooms.
Beautiful place and the kindest staff around!
Great view for a wedding venue. It is towards a lake with a shaded mountain view.
Overrated. Cons: dirty carpets, noisy rooms, Cable not working properly, small pool for the number of rooms. Pros: excellent location, nice views, gym is good.
Great location, great accommodations.
Beautiful resort, very nice staff.
This place is great, an easy walk to the village and many things to do for families and couples alike. I give three stars because the air conditioner in our room sounds louder than a full sized refrigerator.
Spa was pretty nice but showers had temperature fluctuation issues. Food staff by pool was very friendly and nice.
We are attending the wedding. It is a good place to have a wedding.
It was a good time.
people are snobby
I was in room 243 for two nights. There was a group of us staying thru out the lodge. It was wonderful and I look forward to returning
Delightfully quaint resort with surprisingly modern spa amenities, beautiful scenery with a bright blue sky backdrop. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful location. Well-maintained and well-rounded hotel. Did not spend any time in the Spa but it seems nice as well.
Staff went out if way to help!
My cousin was married here, my experience with this hotel is limited to the wedding and reception. The facility was beautiful, and I understand they took care of the bride and groom well on the day. The food was great, and reception area was lovely. Overall it was a nice wedding and good experience.

Beautiful grounds and beautiful rooms! They have such a good view of the lake and it's so pretty. Great place to get married
Nice hotel. First time staying here. Room has plenty of room. We stayed in a king room.

This was an awesome experience every nice rooms, lobby was updated I wish I could by kids swim suit. Mc donalds was walking distances and also the shopping center. I will be going back soon.
Very beautiful place, big rooms, and great view
The front room to the building looks very nice and well-deserved. I was quite impressed. I only saw the interior of one other room. The decor was nice, but a little outdated, and the chairs were comfortable, but a bit wobbly. The service was excellent.
It was very fun there was many thungs to do

They really took care of us when we got married.
Beautiful resort with a great bar that over looks the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff?. The views from lakeside rooms are great.
It was a comedy of errors but the room key didn't work well half of the gym equipment TV did not work and they smoke alarm going off 4 times between 3 a.m. -5 a.m. The movie we ordered didn't work but they refunded it and it's really beautiful view ????
It was pretty.
This is a restaurant that you go to for the setting. Food was good, but not exceptional. Somewhat expensive ($18 for a burger and fries). Service was exceptionally slow. Our waitress has a bit of an attitude and was not especially friendly or welcoming.
Grace Bagunu [.
The resort is so nice, as soon as you walk in you feel the warmth of the space nested next to the lake and among the trees. The room accommodations are nice and the beds are so comfy! The business area has a computer and printer, the lobby serves delicious lemon and blackberry water, and the lobby had a nice sitting area near the fireplace. It's only a short walk to he lower village where you will find restaurants and shops along the water. Everything you need is on the resort!
Service is fantastic, views are nice, and plenty of places to eat in the immediate area.
Nice place for a wedding
Beautiful resort with clean rooms and great views. Also this resort has lake rights so you can swim and fish off a small dock.
Great place to stay at a great location. Loved it.
Beautiful place with very nice employees they also have a great artist that puts his work up in the coffee shop Aromas *.*
Fantastic destination to get away and enjoy yourself and nature.
It's beautiful up here
Found a good rate and stopped in here on a recent road trip back to Northern California. We came in from Phoenix and were planning to do a full day’s drive up to NorCal the following morning so wanted a comfortable, but reasonably convenient place to stop for the night. This was definitely a detour off the main highways, but we got tired of staying at roadside motels so figured an extra 45 minutes of driving was worth it. Plus, having heard about Lake Arrowhead growing up, I’ve always had a lingering curiosity about what it was like so decided it was finally time to see it in person. Anyhow, the resort is big and seems recently updated. The lobby is grand - though has a bit of a strange layout with the floor numbering and access between floors being less intuitive than one would expect. Rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and clean. We had a view of the lake, which was nice, but probably not able to be fully taken advantage of given that it was low season and the lake (and town) were basically empty. Most impressive was the restaurant (where we had breakfast) - which had a great buffet and nice decor.
I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the Lake Arrowhead Resort. My mom and I are frequent visitors and always receive excellence service along with impeccable grounds and clean, comfortable rooms. From the bell staff to the housekeeping and front desk staff, even is friendly and approachable. The housekeeping staff greets me every time I pass by, and the bell service wishes me a good day when I leave. While the price fluctuates with the season, I generally find that the room prices are a good value. The resort hosted my 150 person wedding last November. The catering service was available each time I reached out and had prompt answers. They were gracious in the accomodations and generally flexible. We were able to construct a beautiful fall wedding tailored to our wants and needs. Our point of contact was Marina. I can't say enough good things about her. She provided first class service. When we visit the resort now, we often see her, and she never fails to give a warm welcome. She was professional, polite, helpful, and accomodating. The food served at the wedding was delicious, and the wait staff was efficient. The one caveat to my review will my experience with the spa. I didn't want to reduce my rating due to my experience with them, but it's important to share my mostly negative experience. The hair and makeup team was great, but the person coordinating the experience fell short several times. We were misquoted (thankfully they honored the quote they had originally given me, but it's good that I kept that documentation). Additionally, I was told to call back about 10 days out to set up the exact time schedule. I had already sent many months prior my information about number of ladies and services needed, yet when I called 3 weeks in advance, I was told that I might not get my timeslot, as it was so close to the wedding and other resort guests had requested appointments. Considering I had a credit card on file and email correspondence to prove what I had requested 6 months prior, I was baffled by this declaration. When I presented this information, my point of contact did relent and did allow us the appointments I had already scheduled. They were also very difficult to contact. When I tried to clear up the misunderstanding above (being told my appointments would be given away), it took a week, two emails from me and a phone call from me to finally get a live person. At the end of this harrowing experience, they did offer some financial concessions and offered an apology, hence why I don't feel it necessary to reduce my overall rating of the entire resort. It was very frustrating working with them, but they did come through in the end.
Nice place to spend time at lake. Great restaurant.
Beautiful resort and fantastic service. The restaurant is not the greatest but overall really enjoyed staying here.
Beautiful setting close to the village and overlooking the lake. The resort was run down and the room had numerous repair issues.
Definitely enjoyed my time????
attended a wedding here and we are so impressed with the facilty and staff
My family and I had a horrific experience at the resort. The people staying next door were very loud and did not let us sleep all night and the management did very little about it after being called 3 times. We were up until 5AM due to the doors slamming, kids screaming, and adults fighting. After our vacation being completely ruined they only gave us a partial refund. Very unsatisfied customer. Horrible experience!
I loved this resort. In around 2006, I think they re-did the overall style/design of the interior (they made the paint/lighting a bit darker than it had previously been). It's still a lovely place, and I think they were aiming to make it look fancier/more modern. I do miss the old design, as there have been many fond memories for figure skaters in the area. Regardless, I would love to go back and stay in the resort to experience how it is now!
My fiancee and I went there for a tour as a possible wedding venue. It's reasonably priced for everything they offer.
Great staff. Everyone was very friendly and professional.
We only got drinks at the bar/lounge so I can't comment on the rooms (although I'm sure they're great). The atmosphere at the bar was great and our server Angela was perfect. We got a couple of pizza appetizers that were great (and great price)! We also got french fries that were perfect (but way over priced $12 dollars!) Their specialty drinks were ok, I'm not a fan of flavored liquors they always taste fake. They did make a great old fashioned and martini though. Great place to relax and kill time when the weather gets harsh.
Beautiful and well kept.
I love this hotel. Would love to see the gym be updated. The food at the restaurant is amazing. Views for days!
Sits on Lake Arrowhead. Very clean and nicely decorated.
My brother was married here. Very nice resort.
A little over priced and jacuzzi was cold
Pretty spot, but very expensive
Great location, friendly staff, nice rooms and good food! Will return in the future
It seems a little outdated, some things in the Hotel need to be changed. Other than that, the staff is very helpful and we had a wonderful stay!
I love this place, this is my third time coming with our church for our annual Marriage Retreat and I enjoy every moment we're there ????
Great little coffee shop with yummy pastries!
Beautiful location and facilitie. Loved going here and will be coming back
It was beautiful
It's a nice place to relax
I traveled here for a wedding and stayed over night. It's up in the mountains near a lake. What a beautiful view you can get here. Just driving around the resort is amazing. The room I stayed in was a 2 bed room, it was big and cozy. They have cable and a nice window to look outside with a great view. Inside looks amazing. the employees all were very kind and very helpful in every way possible I give them lots appreciation. I really recommend this for an over night stay vacation, or any social event you might need. The price is worth the while.
We have only stayed one night of our two reserved so far. The staff is friendly and helpful, however we would rate the restaurant in the hotel as average. We plan to try out the spa service and pool tomorrow. The view of the lake from our room is awesome!
I came to Lake Arrowhead Resort for a wedding and it was a beautiful place.
Great View and amazing service
Outstanding customer care! Our initial experience was bad, but the manager was far too kind and gave us stay for two additional nights in the year. Then took care of breakfast for following morning. These folks take care of their guests very well and if for any reason anything goes wrong, looks like they would do anything to win them back!
Great food and service.
Just had the apple salad. Beautiful presentation with a tangy honey mustard dressjng. Wonderful waite staff, friendly and ready.
Very good food. All cooked very well. We also ordered a few drinks which were made well.
Great service easy to get settled in and the food is on point
the location is beautiful as well as the hotel. the only complaint I have is the pool boy questioned me and some others legitimancy. other than that it was nice.

The service was great, the view of the lake from my room was beautiful, overall nice and welcoming experience
Beautiful hotel with amazing lake view

Beautiful setting. We visited on Thanksgiving weekend and the staff was attentive and courteous but they seemed short staffed. Our room was not cleaned and we had to ask for towels. They also announced the hotel would no longer be dog friendly as of January 2017. There were many lobby conversations about this change.
Beautiful scenery, but the spa constantly needs to repair the sauna. Pricey membership. Has nice amenities. Staff is nice, great event venue and restaurant is decent.
Nice hotel, but starting to show its age. Would be truly part of the Autograph Collection if it went through a update/remodel. Only some rooms have balconies/patios. You'll want to make the special request if you want this. Rooms without are slightly larger.

The rooms in general are clean, tidy, and have a open view. The restraunt is expensive, however.

A great place to relax and get away from the city (LA). MLS
Matthew (Manager) was great and super welcoming. The staff and management may very well be our favorite part of our stay.
The location is great but this is a very old property and needs better upkeep.
Great food, view, and service. Great place for s little get away.
Friendly staff, spacious and well-equipped rooms. Room service was on time and food was delicious. Had a great experience at the spa: no treatments but took advantage of steam room and fitness classes. Out of the way but worth the trip for a great hotel nestled in amazing scenery.
I'm having my wedding at Lake arrowhead resort. The service is amazing. They really take interest in making your experience with them exceptional.
Beautiful place and friendly staff. Take your partner or family.
The resort is basically the only waterfront option for out of town visitors since lake access is restricted to community residents. The resort overall is nice, it's not a modern, contemporary ultra resort... Nor should it be. It fits in well with the environment. It's walking distance to everything Lake Arrowhead Village offers. It's quiet, peaceful, and scenic. The resort staff, from front desk to maintenance crew, were all very friendly and pleasant. The lounge has a full bar and a great view of the lake. A couple areas of improvement would be the HVAC system which didn't want to seem to stay on or set, the TV's which didn't want to display or connect to a third of the roughly 48 channels, and the floors/hallways which are voicing their age. Every footstep in the room above you is significant, and the hallways reverberate with every step. Another thing to keep in mind, Lake Arrowhead is home to plenty of Coyotes. That can be super cool for you when you're awoken by a pack of seven that start a howl right in front of your balcony at 2:30 in the morning the first night of your stay (literally). That can also get pretty annoying by the second night when you haven't strung together anything more than two consecutive hours of sleep through the endless howling sessions (also literally). That in no way reflects on the resort, just something to keep in mind when visiting Arrowhead in general. You are in the middle of the forrest, and sometimes you get what you wish for. Overall, I'd recommend the resort to anyone looking to stay at the lake.
Clean and fun to be around
Gorgeous Resort. Extremely nice concierge (Whitney!) Our room was spacious, clean and came with Starbucks coffee, great smelling C.O. Bigelow bath products and an okay view of the lake. (There were trees in the way, but we didn't mind!) The bed was very cozy and the shower was hot. The location of the resort is near to a couple of places to eat, but the resort offers casual dining. This is a great place to stay! Great for a romantic weekend.
Beautiful location, decent rooms, decent service except at the bar.
Nice and quite place
Great place to spend that special night!
Nice quiet area. Spring for a suite if you want a nice view.
Great place to be, fresh clean air and amazing views
It was great
Very nice wait staff at the restaurant. The bartender made us a custom made drink.
Good accommodations and views of the lake
Nice location right on the lake. I would recommend somewhere else for dinner rather than their place. The bar is good though. Rooms are nice as well.
Super nice place and landscape ! I was here for seminar and I definitly love it
It is a great place, close to the lake. Quiet and relaxing. A great stay away from the city. Food was great and the losing was really nice
I have always experienced GREAT customer service here. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, and very VERY kind. I have been here 3 times, and they never cease to amaze. Super happy with everything! :-)

It was a pleasent stay
Gorgeous but LOTS of unattended dogs in rooms barking.

Let people go swimming for free
Rooms were nice but walls are SO THIN! You can hear your neighbors, hallways, etc. Doors to bathroom are sliding doors that don't lock or block any noise out. Kinda awkward. The restaurant at the hotel was not very good. Food served cold, incorrect doneness on meats, etc.
Ate dinner there. Slept on a pull out bed that was pretty uncomfortable.

Great ambiance, lots of staff members and great restaurant
Great location for a vacation
Service was a bit rude. Nice location and great amenities but lacked a homey feel.
Very nice. Bit too expensive though.

It was very high quality and well oriented. The employees were friendly and helpful.
It was an amazing experience. Everything is kept to a very luxurious standard
Crazy nice. The pool spa gym private little beach everything is perfect
Not as appears lobby is nice the rest is a joke
Beautiful location, lovely spa, awesome views. Loved the private beach!
I went to burnt mill
Great weather, great scenery.
Great restaurants and very helpful and friendly staff.
A great location for a weekend getaway. The facilities are conveniently located next to the lake, and within a short walk to most things that Lake Arrowhead has to offer. I loved having a lake view from the bed.
The restaurant at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa was great. Service was fast and the food was also great. Salad and bread was provided without asking which I though was great because most restaurants don't have complimentary salads. The restaurant also had an amazing view of lake arrowhead which was nice to look at while eating. Overall I loved this restaurant and I would recommend going to the restaurant in this establishment.
Just passed by, actually, but didn't look as nice as I remember as a child

Everything is great about this place. Staff, restaurant food, prices on meals, views, atmosphere and did i mention the rooms? The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds are VERY comfortable. The bathroom shower was VERY relaxing. Bathrooms are well stocked with premium amenities. No shortage of towels here, plus there's a shower robe in closet for guests to use. The receiving staff was very swift to check us in and they greeted us with a warm genuine smile.
It was really nice
Clean. Quality upscale experience. Rooms can be quite far away from lobby...
Great massage with Dee! Can't wait to do it again
Very nice hotel, pool area, and arrowhead beach lake access.
The resort is beautiful and my wife and I loved our room, however my in-laws, who we're staying in The Summit (the presidential suite) were displeased with the service they received while staying in the most expensive room in the the resort.
Beautiful property, helpful staff, right on the lake, great onsite restaurant
Great location and very close to the village. Hotel offers rare lake access to its guest and has a pool and hot tub as well. Bin189 restaurant in hotel has quality food and is very pleasant.
It was amazing I loved every minute of it
Very clean, and great staff.

What a delightful surprise spending the weekend at the resort! As a 47 year resident of Lake Arrowhead and Spa member , I thought I had fully explored the delights of the resort. But when thrown out of my house to make room for my daughters' bachelorette party, I discovered the attractions which entertain the visitors on the weekend. I loved: swimming in the refreshing lake at twilight then being invited to share S'mores at the beach campfire with the hotel guests' children! The sunset children's movie at the pool on a giant blow-up screen. Dogs being walked on the grounds with happy masters and mistresses appreciating our forest. Waking up early and being able to let my husband sleep in while I went down to the Spa before yoga classes started to have a cup of coffee and read the newspaper. The staff was wonderful, attentive but unobtrusive. Very friendly! The room was wonderful with a comfortable bed and beautiful view.
It's a beautiful resort, with some serious issues. As the bellman opened our door we smelled a strong stench of cigarette smoke. When asked about it the bellman said that he saw our neighbor smoking. I asked that he have housekeeping come and spray air freshener. No one ever came. The room was very warm (hot) and the a/c didn't work. I called the front desk and let her know about that and the smoking. She said she would take care of it. No one ever came. We went on some errands and when we came back the smell and overwhelming heat was still present. I downloaded a thermometer app to my phone and the temperature hit 98 degrees. I called the front desk again and was told they would take care of it (and the smell). No one ever came. After another call they finally came. The A/C guy knew exactly what needed to be reset, because it happens all the time. Next, the toilet backed up. Another guy came and took care of it. He said they had already ordered parts, but they hadn't arrived. We still had the smoke smell. Staff is nice, but it seems they are badly managed.
Great food! Awesome view and great service.
Great experience! Wonderful facilities, great pool, beach access and dock access. Only hiccup was on our checkout with a slightly difficult experience with the staff. Overall a great location and hotel! Very accommodating for the most part.
great family friendly fun and food
Hotel is very nice. Room was comfortable. Check in did not start at 3:00pm. The room was not ready until after 4:00pm. Was offered free appetizers in bar to compensate. Quite a bit of noise carries through room walls. Great location, walking distance to the Village. Overall good stay. Would stay again.
Great lobby. Friendly staff. Clean pool. Awesome beach. Reasonable price drinks

Excellent service, amazing views, comfortable rooms. I deduct 1 star for the fact that the property is starting to show its age in that rhe walls are thin. We heard EVERYTHING going on next door. However, I would defiantly make a return trip.
Beautiful views great weather. Everything is walkable distance but bring a sweater gets pretty cold

Cable sucked and frigerator didnt work in the suite. Bad suite room
Great views, nice rooms and a beach to swim at the lake.
Wicked nice place with great service
The location of this boutique hotel on the lake provides incredible views. The staff is friendly and helpful and the decor and room design is top quality. While I would not recommend the restaurant, the spa and pool were surprisingly nice.
Fabulous room, fantastic views, great service, wonderful experience.
Good hotel in a great location. Rooms are good but not great. The staff is generally friendly.
Rooms are clean, bed is comfy. We had to be moved to a different room due to noise in the room above us. Pool is nice and there's lots of shopping and eats near the resort.
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is located on Beautiful Lake Arrowhead next too Lake arrowhead Village which has shopping for any needs. Also the Resort has many ammenitties for the whole family.
We went for a boat tour around the lake, the guide was polite and knowledgeable.
The interior was nice and clean. Workers were friendly and nice. We went on a boat tour on the lake. The guide was very knowledgeable while answering our questions and catered to us very well. He helped take photos. It's also kid friendly. We had 3 toddler-ish aged children with us who also enjoyed the boat ride. Outside pool area wasn't large, but there is beach side areas around the lake, so it's not necessary.
Great location, but we had a somewhat noisy experience. Ask for a quiet room specifically if this is a concern of yours, and they will accommodate.
We were there for a wedding as the florists. We stopped in to eat at BIN 189 which was quite fantastic. No complaints at all.
Have worked two weddings for ST Photography. Both times, the venue was amazing.
View and Lake were great. Had good service.
Great place. Excellent views of the lake. Very nice rustic looking and feeling cabins.
If you are getting married and looking for a venue then this is the place to book it! Jill our wedding coordinator is amazing and has made this experience stress and worry free.
Hotel is nice and has a rustic cabin theme. Lake and dock access is close by for fishing. Pool and spar are nice. Yoga is free, and worth it. Bin 189 their restaurant is ok, food is nothing special, but decent.
The gym use to be better when you had a view of the lake.

Went for Mother's Day brunch buffet There was a ton of various breakfast food and a good deal of lunch food as well. Would definitely attend again.
We booked our room, and had to cancel due to my husbands vacation being changed. We called and gave over a months notice to cancel the trip. They gave us our confirmation number to cancel, and never advised us that we were out of luck for a refund of ANY KIND. We waited and waited for this refund, that never came. We then called, and was advised we were &^$# out of luck! My husband's company does his company business trips there, and once again they did not wish to offer ANY type of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE skills showing they wish to KEEP the good business. We will NEVER GO THERE based on that premise alone. A company that will not take care of their customers, or try to meet them half way for future business, does NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!
The resort looked nice but the valet fee was ridiculous
On the phone Patty was very helpful to help us with a better rate and info
Beautiful and peaceful. Fabulous chicken pot pie overlooking the lake. Great service from Derek. What more can you ask for.
It's a gorgeous place to stay.
Attended a wedding. It was beautiful!
Love the hotel but the restaurant needs upgrading to rise to the level of a 4-diamond resort. A few larger suites for larger families would also be good, and doing more with the tiny beach they have by adding an ice cream stand or burger shack would be genius. So much to improve on, yet still a solid old girl who delivers grace and eloquence at every turn. Just needs a few tune ups and a fresh coat of makeup and she'll be the belle she once was.

Very nice place to visit with family and friends.
Great room. Only problem was that our keyword deactivated three different times and we had to get new cards.
The Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is a clean, relaxing hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and great service. Locationally, it his ideal in its close proximity to the lake itself and all of the shops and restaurants in the area. Bin 189, the hotel's main restaurant, is pricey but serves delectable meals and fine wine. If you're planning on staying in the Lake Arrowhead area, I would highly recommend booking a room at the resort, as well as seeing all of the other events and activities that the hotel has to offer.
Place is in the mountains. Very awesome place to have a relaxing vacation with a small town right next door.
Pretty nice rooms, couch was a little beat up. Beautiful spot on the lake and right by the village. Cozy spot, nice lounge.
This hotel is beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful, the views are stunning, and sitting by the fire in the lobby is so relaxing. I'm so glad we are here!
Wonderful facility and beautiful views. The staff is spectacular as well.
Very nice staff and great accomadations.
Beautiful location and great food!
This place it's a peace of heaven . Love everything
The area is gorgeous and the lake tour was entertaining/informative
It was splendid
Just above mediocre. Dated property with average maintenance. Must have been a great property 10 years back. Run down sofas in the room. Stained futons. Generally average looking. The place is right by the lake but has no charm translated truly. I am a Marriott member and there is nothing "Signature" about this place honestly!!
Nice resort with a friendly staff. The setting was very nice we were lucky to be there right after it snowed. I wish the bar was open later and our room wasn't looking out on the parking lot but the amenities were very nice. We would consider having a wedding there but its a little out of the way.
The rooms and facilities are nice. The wait staff for the event I attended was energetic in clearing away finished plates.
The parking lot was plowed earlier in the day which was helpful, however it meant that about half of the available spaces and walkways had burms. This made navigating diffcult. We ended up parking at arrowhead village and walking up to the resort.
(Translated by Google) Very nice, especially on the occasion we visited because it was extremely snowy. (Original) Muy bonito, especialmente en la ocasión que visitamos por que estaba sumamente nevado.

I'm a member at the gym and I take Amie Horton's 6:00am kick boxing class. This class is amazing. This is why I joined the gym. Amie is a fabulous instructor. She pays close attention to your body position and form in class. The class is geared toward overall health and wellness. My flexibility and endurance have improved 100% since joining her class. Thank you Amie for the best class on the mountain.

This is NOT Marriott standards. I don't write reviews often, but I felt compelled to write one after being here 4 days so far: First, I am a Marriott Silver Member. I stay in Marriotts several times a year. I know what to expect. This was not it. We arrived at the hotel 12pm. Had to wait in the lobby 3 hours while they got our room ready. Fine. Restaurant BIN182 has terrible service. It takes 20 minutes for each course to come out. That includes water, drinks, appetizers, and main course. You're there for at least an hour to just get a "quick bite". We've eaten there 3 times, same every time. Ohh, and none of the service staff has straight teeth. Food is not very good but that's fine actually. It's the service that's a problem here. So after deciding that we can't eat at BIN182, we start to order room service. That is until THEY ALWAYS FORGET TO ASK WHAT ROOM YOU'RE IN and you wait 2 hours for your food. They only realize this when you call to check up on the delay. Nobody cleans this hotel up, at all. There are used dishes in the lobby always. There are a TON of kids here which is fine, but they leave trash and wrappers all over the place. I have, on three separate occasions, watched a staff member look at trash and walk right by. 1AM FIRE ALARM SURPRISE! Fire alarm goes off for 20 seconds. Then goes away. Not a word from the staff or anything. Woke us up. Not even an apology or a note. We've had the Do Not Disturb sign on our door for our whole stay. For the second time, housekeeping has walked in my wife naked. We yelled for her not to come in... they did anyway. You hear EVERYTHING! When you walk down the halls, you can hear men urinating in their rooms even with closed doors. We play this fun game with our room key. We call it "How many times?" You play the game by continuously putting your room key in the lock and counting how many times it takes before the door opens. So far, we're up to 25. Lowest was 5 I think. ALL THE STAFF parks in the guest lot in the spaces closet to the hotel we found out. There is NEVER any parking, ever. My wife and I like to watch movies. We hook a computer up to the HDMI in all our hotel stays and bum out for a bit. Not here. The TV is old and crappy. Not even HDMI. An antique. Incase anyone at the hotel cares, I am Ryan B. I am staying in room 307. I wrote this from your room on January 2nd, 2015. Your hotel is terrible. Shouldn't be associated with Marriott, at all. Do you care?
Nice hotel. Clean with some rooms offering a lake view. Nice bar area
Lots of dogs, kids, noise. Nice and competent staff.
Room was nice but need to replace the soft.
Very beautiful, all the staff is very nice, would definitely go there again.
Very quiet place and cozy. hotel is very good
Beautiful view on lake arrowhead. Walking distance to the village.
Very courteous staff with easy parking. Wonderful crisp mountain air with snow in the morning created an unforgettable ambiance. Ate dinner at BIN189, portions were generous. Will be going again
Be careful with free Wi-Fi - My email was compromised during my stay
The location is beautiful, the rooms are heavenly, the view quite majestic. I have been very pleased with the service, in spite of there being a lack of information offered until the last minute of check in. Everyone is super sweet and helpful here! Food is fantastic and the bartender is one of the best!
Our room has an amazing view of the lake. It's beautiful and very comfortable. The staff is great and have gone out of their way to make our stay a good experience. The food is 5star, and the surrounding area offers a wonderful drive for those who like nature photography. We can't wait to visit again.
Any problems you have with the hotel, Melissa the manager takes care of it quickly. The resort views are great. The beds are very comfortable. The entry looks like California adventure at Disneyland, Anaheim with a burning fireplace. A FEEL GOOD PLACE!! On the bad side, the employees need to be in tune to the customers requests and problems. They need to be quick to solve any problems that arise.
smelly place, old in bad conditions do not believe what their website says this place is awful
Great place, great time. The rooms aren't worth the price but the amenities might be.
The A/C went out during our stay, I went to the front desk at midnight and they were great saying they would not charge us for the nights' stay. The next day and got the same story from the Front Desk Manager. Since I booked through Expedia all I had to do was contact them and everything would be taken care, the hotel would approve the refund. Now suddenly the hotel claims they never said they would refund me, they said they already refunded the $20 daily resort fee and that's all they promised!!! What?? I even spoke with Norm Santos the hotel GM about this, still nothing. HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE.
The pool is typically very nice. However, it is frigid in the winter. They should warn customers,
Great lodging and fun at the Lake Arrowhead Resort. Food is excellent and the location is really cool. I like the resort's involvement in the Lake Arrowhead community.
We spent a Thanksgiving holiday at the hotel and found it to be very nice. The Thanksgiving Buffet was wonderful and the staff was friendly and attentive. The pet friendly atmosphere was perfect for us and we liked the access to the village.
Don't waste you money! Run down rooms, horrible service, and don't do the breakfast at the restaurant! We were very disappointed - don't believe the photos either.
Website wasn't very informative and didn't have pictures of the different rooms available. I called to ask 3 questions : When was the earliest date available and what were the rooms that were available like. She was VERY RUDE and hung up on me.
Not up to par at all...bad food...No late night dining option at all
We went for Mother's day weekend and loved this hotel. Lake view room was gorgeous. Spent couple of hours in the pool and spa. Amazing views in the nature and the staff was very friendly.
About 5 years ago this was a great place for a mountain getaway. Unfortunately, the rooms have become a bit worn and the kitchen is lackluster, at best. We used to have great meals up there, now it is hit and miss, so is the service. When we came for New Year's last year, half of the staff had not shown up for work and we were told to go to the village for food! The biggest problem is that we have been placed in the "dog wing" twice in a row after specifically requesting to be in the dog-free wing. We love dogs but owners leave their dogs unattended and the constant barking and howling is difficult to stomach. Last time, a large dog attempted to break free by throwing his entire body against the room door for at least forty minutes - security did not respond, so we fled our room. Also, one dog peed in the hallway and, despite the heavy chemicals sprayed (nice!), the stench of dog pee was still coming through. Our door frame was also chewed on by a previous "guest". Such a gorgeous spot (thus the star) -- so hard to witness its demise - hope they get new management soon!
My wife and I were there a few weeks ago for a wedding and had a great time. Alicia the Asst. Mngr. went out of her way to find outdoor furniture to put on the deck so that about 12 of else could sit outside and enjoy the weather. She also served us drinks and appetizers. ( They put the deck furniture away on 10/1 due to the weather). Matt who works in room service went out of his way to correct a mistake that was made on our dinner order. In no time at it was fixed, and the food was good also. We did have one problem. Friday after the wedding reception was over we went to the bar to have a few drinks. There was about 10 of us and it was 11:00pm. I had one beer then went up to get another one and the bartender said she made last call at 11:30. I have never heard of that before and the 10 of us were still there. I also witnessed 2 people walk up and saw she was putting the bottles away and they walked out. I told this to Alicia and she said that she would bring this up with management as they are supposed to stay open till 12:00pm and can stay later if the crowd warrants it. We will definitely be back again.

Worst hotel ever!! Human feces in the hall way ,pubic hairs in bad tub and overcharging room service by editing yo the bill who were not ordered, restaurant extremely rude below bar expect for josh. Worst hotel experience ever!!! Food 3/10 Service 2/10 Horrible!!! Would not recommend this resort yo anybody!!
Under construction. No pool or spa. Noisy by beach
Customer service is a joke. The price suggests a quality destination, and 5-Diamond means stone-cold customer service, because it surely doesn't mean quality. Some housekeeping guy named Keith started sweating profusely while cleaning vomit in the lobby, talked to himself while rolling his eyes around like a crazy gorilla at the zoo, making me feel very uncomfortable. I heard him get on his radio and curse at someone else to get sheets and deliver it right away. I heard someone else come over the radio, and tell this joker to behave himself, then I heard yelling then running in the hallway that reminded me of the time I took a field trip the the psychiatric ward as a psychology undergrad. I felt like a tourist-captive in a hotel that was taken over by the mentally disturbed. Luckily my brother-in-law (retired Sheriff) was ready to take action on him if he got any crazier. I was pretty offended, but what put a smile on my face, was hearing him trip in the hallway after he ran off. He was lying on the floor, broken dishes everywhere, sweaty, moaned two or three times, and undoubtedly soiled himself while staring at the stars he must have been seeing. He came to, got up, then held his pants like a toddler, then started yelling into his radio again, half in English, and half in a language he must have created, screaming about it being someone else's fault he ran down the hall and tripped on the tray of discarded seafood remains. For the rest of our trip, Keith was the butt of all our jokes, and we nicknamed him "queeth." Every time we had gas, we said Keith cleaning vomit. Great location, but change of staff seriously needed. Telling this story is only half as funny as seeing it first-hand. The rest of the staff was very professional.
Well worth the drive. Best band i have seen in a decade. Imagine James Taylor in a lounge. Yeah that's right. With great hors d'oeuvres, fire and happy servers.
Love this place. My husband and I got married here two and a half years ago. Was a bit expensive but all our guests told us it was the best wedding they have been to. They even gave our guests a discounted rate when we got snowed in that night. The food was excellent, super close to shops and the market. The staff was excellent. Love Becky my coordinator! We went back for our one year anniversary and it was just as great.
Not worth $250/night. The fire alarm kept going off, some staff members are rude. The room never got made up between nights and the patio door blows in freezing air all night long, other than that the hotel is in a great spot, walking distance to lake arrowhead village
