I highly recommend getting a facial with Troy. I have struggled with persistent dry, red, irritated skin on my face for years. When I left the spa my skin was soft and smooth, and the redness and irritation were completely gone. It’s been a week, and using the products he recommended for me has kept my skin looking like it did the day of my appointment. It was a such a relaxing and positive experience. Wonderful experience! Reception was very welcoming and Cymon was incredible! Even though it was our first time meeting, I didn't feel pressured to talk the whole time, she was very kind, welcoming, and very skillful. The purpose of my review is in hope of action being taken against an employee who left me feeling scared, confused, and very emotionally wounded. I was at Reflect Salon on 10x31x23. After waiting in my between my services, I had walked back in and asked the receptionist if I can wait in the lounge area in the back. Kimberly had told me I could after my appointment with her. The receptionist did not make eye contact with me. So I sat down in a chair out front thinking she was busy. There were no clients at the desk so I got up and asked for the second time if I could wait in the back. A man was standing behind the desk, a girl with bright red hair, and who I believe was the manager. The man spoke to me very strangley. He looked very wide eyed and angry. He eventually told me I could wait in the back. After a few moments of waiting in the lounge area in the back the same man appeared again. I really hope there are cameras in the back that record visual and audio because what happened next was shocking and disturbing. He had told me he would not be doing my pedicure, and that I had to leave. My stomach was in knots. I did not know what was going on. He had accused me of "yelling at a receptionist." I absolutely did no such thing. I have a lot of respect and curiosity for others. I tried to reason with this man. When I addressed him by Sir he very angerly corrected me saying his name is Troy. As I spoke with him more he started making rude facial expressions to mock me. I was starting to feel very afraid. He told me he had been working at Reflect Salon, this happened at the Plymouth location, for 10 years. And that he would never want to help someone like me. I was beyond confused at this point. Troy made me go to the receptionist desk again. The same manager was standing there who was there when I tried checking in. I had tears streaming down my face, and I asked her if she heard me yell at a receptionist. She confirmed she did not. I told her briefly what happened with knots swarming in my stomach. She told me she would get Troy for me. She seemed just as confused as I was. I told her I did not want to see him again. I only wanted action to be taken against that man for how unfair and horribly he treated me. I walked outside the salon and called the Reflect Salon Call Center to report the incident. I was still in tears and shaking. Two workers checked on me to see if I was OK. I was beyond devastated and shaken over being accused of something I never did. Please, hold Troy accountable for his actions.

The experience I've had at the Plymouth salon has been fantastic. I'm very happy with the haircuts I've received from Amy Jo. I'm giving 4 stars because the female scheduler is rude to me and not helpful. She doesn't seem to want to give any recommendations for other services and I can't figure out why she is so difficult about it. The customer service factor with the scheduler just isn't there. She just seems crabby and short and it makes me really uncomfortable. Because of this issue, I have walked away not making an appointment at all multiple times. I've never felt so not welcomed by a scheduler at a salon before.

This was my 1st ever professional massage. I suffer from agoraphobia, anxiety and I was very nervous but everyone was so understanding and caring about that. Went in with healthy nails and gel polish. Was looking for an upscale salon that does acrylics and not the chemicals. First session took over 2 hours and costed $90. Within several days most of them lifted and/or fell off. Had another fill. Tech didn't remove the nails just filed the remainder down. Again took 2 hours @ $70. Well much to my dismay they again started to lift. It finally fell off and GREEN nails. Don't get your acrylics done here. They don't properly seal your nails and if one falls off good luck booking another appointment any time soon. Edit: Wouldn't expect you to find my name based off my initials. Absolutely terrible experience. I got my hair done a few months ago by a stylist named Neil and he completely wrecked my hair. I asked to go lighter and repeatedly said I don’t care if my hair gets light enough, I just wanted it to be healthy. Even if it meant it would take a few sessions to get to being blonde again. He proceeded to bleach my roots first without foils, then proceeded to bleach my mids and ends. He also told me to wear a hat until our next session???? At first I was okay with how it looked in the salon lighting, but was mortified when I got home and saw it in day light. I called and asked for a refund, but was denied and I feel stupid for leaving a tip. I cancelled our next session. They did offer me to come back into the salon to fix my hair, but I was honestly mortified and refused to put my hair through anymore damage. You can see how fried my hair was after I left the salon. Please if you’re looking for a good stylist, DM ME FOR STYLIST RECOMMENDATIONS. DO NOT GO HERE.

The salon space is beautiful and well put together as you expect from Aveda. The person doing my hair did a great job on my color! Price point is a little higher than what I expected (although I was told over the phone when I asked what I could expect everything to cost, and they were pretty accurate) I think you're paying for the work done but more so the name 'Aveda' when you go there. I've gone to other salons that have done the same color work as I got done, plus cut and styled (which wasn't done here) before I left for $60-80 bucks cheaper. I also was told, since it was my first visit what would need to be done to my hair, (color match for roots, highlights would *need* to be done), my hair hadn't had anything done in over a year. A few more questions during the whole process and a more polished finished look would have made me feel like I got my money's worth. That being said, they are professional, the hair washing stations were extremely comfortable, and the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming.

Worst salon ever! I came in to get my hair permanently straight, and I went it for the first time and they failed at doing the hair treatment. Then I told them the hair treatment didn’t work and they said they would do a redo service. So I go in for the second time and they tell me the my hair is going to become “completely straight”(quoted from the hairdresser).They tell me that the product that they are going to use is going to make my hair straight. And again, they failed at giving me what I asked for. Then I ask them to return my money because They didn’t give me what I wanted, and they kept on telling me no refunds because they told us that my hair won’t be completely straight. I told them that I came in to get my hair completely straight and I payed for what I wanted, then they started to change and deny everything they said. They kept saying that they never told me my hair is going to become completely straight and that they said it’s just gonna relax my curls even though they told me so many times that my hair is gonna become straight. Worst customer service. They are bad with hair. Don’t recommend going there, because they won’t do what you told them to do. They act like the know everything while they barley know anything. First and last time going there.

I came in as a new client for a color correction as Peppe’s last appointment of the day. She took 2 hours to get my blonde absolutely perfect and walked me through every step. I came in with my almost yellow on top and grey on the bottom after a failed home dye job. I left with the perfect level 10 platinum with a fantastic trim and the integrity of my hair still intact. I love the Kérastase products they use here, it truly makes a difference! The treatment can cost extra depending on your appointment type, but it’s worth every penny as your stylist formulates it to your hair’s specific needs. I cannot be more grateful for the time Peppe spent on my hair. Gary at the front desk was so welcoming and warm. This experience 10/10, I couldn’t imagine going to a different salon now.

About a month ago, I visited the Maple Grove Reflect to start the balayage process on my hair as I had a goal I wanted to work towards that I knew would take a few sessions. The day after the very rushed appt that used a process to Balayage I had not seen before I noticed the color was drab and the way it sat on my hair was in very noticeable chunks with missed spots and striped areas all throughout. I called to see if this was typical for a first time balayage appt that was working toward an end goal and I was told it was not. The receptionist was super kind in helping me try to schedule to come in and get it fixed on the week before Thanksgiving. the stylist I used offered to come in on her day off to fix it saying it would be a 'simple fix' but, I instead decided to go with the only other open appt with a new stylist at Plymouth, Caitlin. My meeting with Caitlin was amazing, I felt like she truly listened to my concerns and she brought an experienced stylist into the conversation. I learned the process that the other stylist took is a type of way to do balayage called 'open air' but, typically takes much longer then the 120 mins we were scheduled. Caitlin worked very hard with care and her time (3 hours!) to fix my concerns and was so easy to talk to. I really appreciate her work and was very happy with how my finished product turned out. I plan to continue to see Caitlin for the rest of my balayage process.

I’ve been to other salons where they get you mostly “there,” then use toner and blue shampoo to get you to platinum. The nail spa service provided by Jodi and Montana was WONDERFUL. However, as we were checking out, and had just finished paying with my credit card, my daughter noticed a 25% off sign for nail spa services that cost more than $35. I asked the employee who was checking us out about the discount, since our combined pedicures cost $150. She said that since we hadn't mentioned the discount before she processed my credit card - and since the discount was only available to people who MENTION the discount before paying - we could not receive the discount. This seemed petty and a little ridiculous. UPDATE: management reached out to me based on the (same) customer service review they had earlier requested. The manager apologized, credited my card for the 25% discount, and demonstrated what excellent customer service looks like. Go to Reflect Salon in Plymouth with the confidence that even if a small mistake happens, it will be quickly and graciously corrected!

I will not be returning to Reflect once they open up again, I had an appointment the day after they closed for the Covid, I received no phone call, no E mail of any sort of information on what their plan was, nobody called me to Tell me how to remove my extensions that I had put in at that location and how to store them, I am a regular high paying customer who always leaves a 20% tip, everywhere else that I have service's done have kept me fully informed and up-to-date on a continuous basis, and I didn't even have appointments with them when everything shut down, This could have been prevented by a simple phone call to the ones that had standing appointments or were clearly regulars, something to reassure me that since I had an appointment the following day that I could be one of the 1st to get in when they re opened, anything would have been nice to have heard , everyone else was doing this and like I say I didn't even have appointments at my other places and they were informing me, The place I get my lashes done has informed me with about 5 emails since they shut down at the same time, on how to remove my lashes if I wanted to and how to take care of mine in the meantime, very thoughtful and very smart, That's good business for the customer. Communication is important.

I called the Reflect salon today to schedule an appointment as I had received a gift card and wanted to schedule a massage. I have never been to a Reflect salon and have only had a few massages - but it's something I look forward to! I was not impressed with the customer service on the phone. The woman was short with me and rude. I'm hoping that the quality of the customer service is more positive when I arrive for my massage as my initial interaction was not.

Went in for a color. I was asked if I wouldn't mind a newbie. Sure! Did a good job but I would rank conversational competence as low. When I visited experienced stylists at this location, at every step of the process, they would inform the Customer of the approximate wait time, e.g. for how long the color should sit.. etc. etc. This appointment was a bit frustrating because I was just kept waiting without an idea. Also, what felt really unprofessional was the trainer who was present on this day. She was coordinating all the newcomers and she suddenly asked everyone to stop what they're doing and gather around her for a summary-of-the-day session. Not only did it sound disruptive, it is unprofessional to ask the stylists to stop what they're doing and leave the client to wait till the session is over. There is a way of maintaining the professional feel while learning on the job at the same time.

I had my first time experience at this salon today and I was extremely impressed with my stylist Bailey! I was told she was newer in her career but I was still blown away with her. I got color (baylage- or however you spell it lol) and a cut from her and she took her time to listen to what I wanted and made good suggestions to questions I did not think about. I wanted something different that gave my hair definition and framed my face better and she absolutely delivered. I appreciate the amount of time she put into both color and cut of my hair and I will be going back to her again!

My haircut was wonderful and the stylist, Hope, was great... And really that's the most important thing. I took off one star because of the service of the non-stylist staff and one star for the disorganized opening of the salon. The front desk staff seemed a little disorganized and scattered, and, overall, not super helpful. My appointment was at 10:00 am on a Sunday, and I learned, after arriving a reasonable 15 min early, that the salon opens at 10:00... as in literally opens their doors at 10:00 am. I assumed that, if my appointment is at 10:00 am, I am checked in and sitting in a chair with the stylist at 10:00 am, not waiting in line to check in for my appointment. There were probably 5 or 6 people waiting in their cars for the doors to be unlocked for their 10 am appointments. If you're going to open your doors at 10:00, make the first appointment of the day at 10:15. If you're going to make the first appointment at 10:00, open the doors at 9:45. Your patrons are attempting to be on time by arriving early, we would appreciate the same courtesies, to be able to check in for our appointments a few minutes early, so we don't feel stressed and rushed, especially when you're selling services meant to relax and revive.

Never been there for a service just went to buy product today. But with the coldness of their front desk staff I wouldn't want to stay for services! Their desk staff has no comprehension of customer service. I've never been anywhere that you don't get greeted or offered assistance when you come in and start wandering. Poor representation of an Aveda salon and Aveda service. You girls are the face of the salon- the first and last point of contact! Wake up, crack a smile and greet your customers rather than ignore them until they approach you! Without customers you have no job! Tip for Management-get some customer service training for your front staff.

I waited 25 minutes for my appointment, which was 20 minutes past when it was scheduled to begin and my stylist never came to get me. When I went to the front desk, they were not apologetic or able to explain the wait. This is not the first time I have had to wait here but definitely the longest and an explanation would have been appreciated so I knew to expect a wait. I was pretty disappointed, so I did not stay for my appointment and will not come back to this location after coming here for three years.

I came here last year about July/August to get my blonde hair fixed from purple. Being a hairdresser I was looking forward to going to a salon and feeling more like a client than a stylist. I had Peppe and she was absolutely amazing!! She was so much fun to talk to and gave me awesome advice and is incredibly talented! My hair ended up turning out Pinterest worthy and I loved it! Kayla B with New Reflections has been nothing less than amazing! Every Salon/Stylist I've gone to has told me my hair is broken and pressured me to buy all sorts of expensive products. I first went to see Kayla when I was 40 weeks pregnant and she couldn't believe how healthy my hair was. I couldn't believe it! I had been lied to for years just to buy products, so someone could get commission. Fast forward 1.5 years and she is still the only person I will let touch my hair! She even gives my 1 year old his haircuts :) If you want someone fun, honest and trust worthy - Kayla is your girl! We are so lucky to have found Kayla! We will never go anywhere else!

I saw the positive reviews and decided to check out if this would be a welcome location closer home ( I live in Plymouth and my current Salon is in Edina). Had a hair color appt. with Peppe. I personally did not appreciate her display of attitude when she found out I had colored my hair 6 mos back using boxed color. I have been coloring my hair both at Salons and at home and have never heard that hair colored at home cannot be colored at a Salon with same results as virgin hair. It almost felt like she was trying to sneak in an excuse to charge me extra fees for "working" on home colored hair. I am never coming back here. I'd rather take the 20 mile hike to my regular Salon.

They are rude and mean. My mom was from Chicago and ask if we can make an appointment under my name since she is never going to do it. They just refused to do it. There service is horrible, they don't get me in right way and asked for tea and I didn't get it until 15 mins after.

Arrived on time and appointment started >20 minutes late. Tried to pay with gift card at the end and was told after the card was scanned that the remaining balance needed to be used up. I asked for the gift card back, so I could use the full amount at a future appointment and would pay cash this trip instead. I was told the amount was already deducted and that I would need to pick out products to use up the rest. After going back and forth I finally just picked out an overpriced bottle of shampoo, had to pay the difference plus the gratuity. Very frustrating.

I came here for a haircut for the first time yesterday. I was so happy with the service I received! Best haircut in years. Plus a welcome surprise to be served tea, a shoulder massage, and hand massage. And obviously it doesn't get much better than Aveda products. My specific stylist was also very helpful, giving me suggestions on products for my specific hair-type without being pushy/sales-focused about it.
