The Everett House Healing Center

Common Ground originated in 1979 as "The Everett House Healing Center", and consisted of wellness practitioners and hot tub & sauna facility in the 2917 building. In 1981 the 2927 building was added to the facility. In 1983 the name was changed to "Common Ground". The words of a Paul Winter song (from which we adopted our name) accompanied the sign: "in a circle of song, in a circle of sound...all our voices will blend when we touch common ground..."
