Good ambiance

Excellent serene and cozy getaway! The location is nestled away in a quiet woodsy lush piece of land. Close to restaurants, retail stores, and entertainment. My husband and I left feeling refreshed and invigorated. Beautiful architecture and extremely friendly and helpful staff make this place a 5star hotel. This Marriott offers tons of amenities including a pool (5.5 ft deep and jacuzzi area), fitness room, spa, laundry room, tennis court, and many nooks and stations in the common areas great for sitting, gathering with friends, or reading within walls of windows that make the indoor/outdoor space feel integrated. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room lacked a microwave or heating plates. The bathroom was average, a little smaller than most places I've stayed and felt a little cramped. With the sink, and toilet within 2 ft of each other. The stand up shower was ok. Not the highlight of this place. Excellent COVID-19 precautions. I observed continous cleaning of common areas, employees wearing masks, and social distances reminders through out.

Nice, big, and clean.

Never communicated that there was a $60 fee when you check in. When we called we were given an attitude and said that it would be back in 5 days when we were told 3 days at check out. Very upset by this made my bank account go in the negative. Never staying here again

Well its Just a couple of minor noise issues I had. For one example everyone's door closes so loudly and the Ac units hums all night but the spa was amazing
Molly B.
Excellent staff! They went above and beyond for us. All safety measures were put into place for COVID. Felt super safe while we were there. Everyone was so friendly. Great experience. Will definitely stay there in the future.

Very nice, accommodating but the rooms were a bit dated and the room service was sort of snippy.

Nice place for a weekend getaway.

Pretty friendly people Starbucks has confusing because it's right at the bar and they have a small sign but other it's pretty nice a lot of pharmaceutical companies use that place

Comfortable bed lots of lights in a room and nice place

This Marriot is unique. There's a earthy rustic feel that's experienced throughout the property. Level changes as you move through the building are frequent with Windows, often floor to ceiling, facing woods, creeks, nature... The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are surrounded by nature forest and are kept exceptionally clean. I've been to this property numerous times for conferences and meetings and always look forward to my return.

Nice cozy vibe.

Love this place. The spa was good but could have been amazing. Fell a bit short but the ambience was great.

Staff friendly and professional - greeted as soon as I entered the door, food was tasty, conference rooms large, well-lit, and spacious, comfy chairs, pleasant outdoor view as well. Also helps that front entrance looks a lot like a lodge from a Hallmark Christmas movie!????
R D.
Great spot to relax, take advantage of the Spa!

Absolutely my favorite conference center in this region. Rooms and staff are top notch.

Very nice rooms and facilities. Visited in January for work meetings and the rooms were so cold. The restrooms in the area were like refrigerators.
Laura Kate G.
Quiet, well managed and has the excellent service associated with Marriott properties. Staff were patient and responsive. The Spa inside the hotel is a must for anyone wanting to relax and unwind. Property is ideal for special events like weddings and family or work gatherings. This was our second time staying and when we are in the area again, we will be back.

Nice hotel. Friendly people. Would definitely go back.

One of the best hotels with central location. Easy to find and a beautiful beautiful hotel. I highly recommend staying here as it's worth the fair pricing. Breakfast is included and the coffee is great. Staff is very friendly and the groomsmen keep this place spotless. Definitely looking forward to staying again! Thanks guys

Super cozy, kind of has the feel of a cabin when you walk in. The room I stayed in on the first floor was nice, had an iron, ironing board, hair drier and a fridge in case you were curious. In the main lobby there is bar and restaurant area off to the right side when you enter with service, and the full buffet breakfast is fantastic. Full workout area open 24/7 and pool open till 11. Would definitely recommend for a stay! Our room was a group deal for $99/night.

Top notched, even for a sweet 16 party. My wife enjoyed a bridal shower there 2 weeks before.

Love this hotel for both banquets and just an overnight with the family. The new renovations in the past two years are great and the staff is very friendly.

Wife & I stayed for 2 overnights 2 weeks ago- mid-October. Though not in downtown Princeton, it's only a 10 minute drive away. We found our stay worth it. The hotel is contemporary yet has a lobby that evokes an upscale Rocky mountain ski lodge(I mean that in a good way). Reception desk service was very pleasant and professional. Thank you Samone- for starting my "birthday weekend getaway" off on a positive note. (Our stay had been a present.) The hotel is quiet and the vibe is civilized. There is a nice bar area with an open feel. There is a gym and spa(we used neither.) Our room and the public areas were impeccably clean. The room climate control and shower were wonderful. Service at the restaurant on site was good. Dinner was fine. Breakfast in the restaurant was OK. (What held me back from giving this hotel 5 stars? ... We had breakfast delivered to our room on the first morning. The scrambled eggs and potatoes we ordered were both cold and very obviously processed. Also, instead of being served on cardboard plates or plastic plates the breakfast came to us served in almost-paper-thin-cardboard boxes. I was served more decently while on field training in the Army. Dumb way to save 10 cents Marriott.)

I travel for business and have stayed here for several weeks. Pros: The best part of this hotel is the lounge. Comfortable, plenty of seating, great food. The staff here is friendly and helpful. The lounge has this warm, welcoming, ski-lodge feel. The bathrooms are nice. I needed a microwave and they provided one with no fee (Westin charges $25/night). Washing machines/dryers available for laundry (need quarters). Cons: I had some kind of issue every week. Dirty rooms with flies. Broken fridge. Broken AC. Broken furniture. No WiFi. Credit to the management, they were helpful when I brought issues to their attention. The gym is cramped, especially when crowded. I got terrible cell service if any (AT&T). Bottom line: The lounge and lobby are beautiful, but the rooms desperately need an upgrade. I'm happier across the street at the Westin.
Binu V.
My favorite hotel in New Jersey. Hard to get reservations.

Very nice place to stay!!! Friendly staff

Went for a conference. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Very accommodating to your needs.

Our stay at the Princeton Marriott was relaxing, because our room was especially quiet and equipped with a modern bathroom with a first-class shower and amenities. The king-size bed's mattress was excellent and had pillows that were especially wonderful. There were reading lights over each side of the bed which I wish most hotels had....as someone who travels a lot I have always been frustrated by poor lighting. This is one of the few hotels I've stayed in that had modern adjustable swing lights. The hotel (which has a spa, pool and tennis) is located on many acres in an area that has walking trails and is surrounded by trees. Will definitely make this our go-to hotel when visiting Princeton.
Ricky M.
Was only in the Marriott for a little bit. Came to the area for a friend's bike event. Marriott was a really nice hotel; liked the brick style. Cool looking bar area and nice they serve Starbucks Coffee.
Shin D.
Nice resort type of hotel tucked in the woods. Views are fantastic, but the room had water damage signs from the AC vent although the bathroom seemed renovated still feel like an old room. Lounge offered bare miniums in terms of breakfast (two hot plates, plus a toaster machine and regular stuff such as oatmeal, juice etc). Overall still pretty good value.
Sam S.
Send like a nice hotel. The location is a little boring
Todd C.
Room was clean and hotel property was nestled in the woods. Very peaceful to take a walk . One downside was there isn't any complimentary coffee in lobby .
Joseph P.
Great location, comfortable beds, nice big screen tv, and alllowed me to get an early check in.

Had a lovely stay here. We enjoyed the clean room, nice pool/hot tub and exercise room, beautiful grounds, and pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend to friends and consider coming back if I need someplace in the area.

Beautiful environment and politeness. Nice!

Nice place. Was only in a conference room but it looks clean, spacious and filled with amenities.

The service in the restaurant was horrendous. Everything on the menu was very expensive. I had to pay $14 dollars a day for WiFi. I do not think that I would ever come back to this hotel ever again.
Jennifer L.
I felt like I was in a lodge or wooded retreat when we got to the lobby of this Marriott. It's a beautiful space with exposed beams and big windows looking out into the trees. The desk staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Good value for the weekend rate we got.
Stanley C.
Everyone who works here is absolutely fabulous! everything we needed was provided by the great staff, and mean everyone
Florence K.
I attended a conference here and wow, what an experience! The food was some of the best food I have ever tasted. However, it is the staff that makes this a 5 star place to stay. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful at every point. The management team was not only present at the start of any planned event, but it was how they truly engaged with you that is what sets them apart. Marriott at Forrestal, you could truly be in the deep South with your level of hospitality!
Juan G.
Amazing place to stay. Beautiful and just plain out fancy.

OK, but nothing special. Food is meh.

All the staff, from the front desk and valet, to the restaurant and rooftop bar staff was professional and very helpful. The bed was perfect, everything was well maintained and clean.

Hotel is dated, but the staff was really courteous.

We stayed here during our daughter's wedding at Franklin park. It is a beautiful hotel in the nature's place. You have to pay for breakfast though unlike some hotels that comes with free breakfast.

I went there for an event. The food was good. It has a relaxing feel. Open. Quiet.

Beautiful place. This place screams luxury when you walk in. The staff are so professional its frightening; I LOVE IT! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE FOOD. The hot food is always hot and the cold food is never warm. I would recommend coming on a weekday though because its hard to get a good room during the weekend. But i do recommend this hotel to everyone. Bring your whole family, youll love it

Came up from VA to move into NJ. Comfortable place for an overnight stay in a convenient location. Only two real complaints: - Paid wifi (something like $12/day) - Weird glass (not see-through) door for the bathroom which doesn't even lock. People rooming with you will hear every splash. Probably not a budget hotel but I'm fortunate enough to have my employer pay for it.

Despite multiple requests, my air conditioning was never repaired. Sleeping in a hot and humid room is miserable. Otherwise, the facility is pleasant.

Always liked their restaurant, however this time I was astonished, when they said, they don't serve guacamole!

Amazing place, serene, spacious location, friendly staff, and excellent selections in the lounge. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend this place. They also upgraded our room and showed us appreciation for being loyal Marriott members. Many thanks to this amazing hotel for a great and comfortable stay.

Clean spacious plenty of parking great for vacation or conventions or wedding receptions

I found the hotel to be very clean. The pool area is lovely except that the 3x I went to this area the jacuzzi was being utilized by families with children hanging in it like it was a pool with the jacuzzi off. All 3x I had to alert them I was turning on the jacuzzi and that their children might be in jeopardy but they stayed anyway with 3 year olds in the jacuzzi while running. Someone should come by once in awhile to correct this situation before there is a tragedy. This hotel is quite huge considering it had 3 floors with a wide expanse. I booked the room as a senior citizen through AARP being 70 hears old and needing a hip replacement. I was put in a room that was three corridors from the elevator and then going down to the pool area seemed like 1/4 of a mile walk when the hotel was not full and there were at least 40 rooms between my room and the elevator. When I told the hotel clerk he couldn't believe I was put in almost the very last room as an AARP booking but I was already unpacked and did not want to change. This was totally ignorant on the part of the person who booked a senior AARP into that room You should really look into that for future AARP senior guests. But overall it is a very nice hotel and would recommend it highly besides for their ignorance in booking rooms.

Great hotel with a cozy feel, excellent service and cool architecture! Also, great craft brew selections!
Laura F.
The room was great. Had a king size bed. There was a single serve coffee maker in the room, a small fridge. There is a bar and restaurant in hotel can also order room service until 11am to 11pm. Very nice place to stay.
Stephen L.
Member lounge is above average. Desk staff is excellent. Biggest complaint is the layout. It's like someone put a bunch of hallways together. When you walk to your room it feels disjointed and maze like. Also the main parking lot is absurdly far from the entrance. Must have been the maze designer that thought that was a good idea. Make sure you ask for the letter of the nearest parking lot to your room. Rooms are above average. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Watch out for light switches in odd places. I had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn off the wall sconce. It was hidden on a half wall under the lip of the counter where the coffee and fridge are. Again must of been the maze person that came up with that brilliant placement.

Very nice place to stay. The perfume or scent they spray really messed with my sinuses. The conference area is very nice. Pool was great for the kids. Food was serviceable. Rooms were very clean. Recently renovated or updated. Staff was kind. The special M club is great.

Great service; modern, well appointed conference rooms; professional staff; good location and parking. I recommend.

This hotel makes a perfect getaway. The kids enjoyed the pool and the shuttle to Palmer Square makes things very convenient. I was disappointed in the Spa at Forrestal Village for canceling my appointment during my visit. Not only was it my birthday but they made no effort to accommodate, even by making a local recommendation.

This place was so nice! I loved the lobby! It was gorgeous! The whole property is surrounded by trees so it is very private and secluded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The drinks at the bar weren't too great but the food was delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
Stephen Van A.
Have not stayed at this hotel before but in the surrounding area (also all over the world). I only attended a work meeting here and it was very well done. The hotel is also very cool on the interior. I can't speak to the actual rooms or what it's like to stay here. Colleagues have said the concierge lounge for Marriott Platinum members is really nice too. UPDATE: So I decided to stay here the last time I was in Princeton and will update my review accordingly, keeping the original review above. The rooms are pretty classic Marriott rooms, with nothing special. It's not like you're staying at a Category 6 - 8 Marriott. However, the Concierge Lounge (M Club?) Is probably one of the nicer ones I've seen lately. The only ones I can think of that are better are the Seattle Waterfront Marriott and the Venice Beach Marriott.
Mitesh P.
Worst experience in my 15 plus years staying at Marriott. Felt like second class Citizen. Because I am Indian staff member looked us at differently. Some staff members were RACISTS, not all.

(Translated by Google) Really a really great hotel. The architecture is beautiful, the plant in the middle of the forest and the staff is extremely friendly. In addition, the complex has a large pool, tennis courts and a spa. Unfortunately, we did not try the restaurant, but it also looked very appealing. The rooms are very clean and very spacious.

Staff was nice, lobby and restaurant were nice as well. Rooms were old. Sockets didn't work near the coffee maker, and on the desk, no bottled water in the room, valet pulled our car up at 5am right next to but not under the covered awning (no one else was around) so it was odd to make us get wet.
Mike L.
The Princeton Marriott was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive during the course of our all day meeting, and willing to help in any way that they could.
Ino S.
I like the setup. Very open on the first floor and quite lively in the evening. The M lounge is very pleasant. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is that the room itself is a bit dated and the parking lot is far and exposed. I got wet!

We were there for a wedding ceremony. The lobby was clean and we'll furnished. The staff was helpful when answering questions. The room that the ceremony was held in was clean and we'll furnished. The only negative thing that comes to mind is the limited number of people attending the valet parking.

Stayed here for my anniversary and was very pleased. I love the modern look of the hotel as well as the secluded feel. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very clean, the pool was bigger than most hotel pools which was a plus! We got the couple's getaway package and had strawberries and champagne delivered to our room. Both the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries we're amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and they had a wide variety like an omelet and waffle station. Overall this place was fantastic and I will definitely be staying here again in the future. I definitely recommend this place both for a romantic getaway but also for a family getaway as it is kid friendly and has a tennis and basketball court.
Daniel C.

(Translated by Google) The public space has a casual atmosphere, spacious and comfortable, and you can take a walk on the outdoor tree-lined trails. But the room is not so spacious, especially the toilet, the shower is small, there are few hooks, and only the countertops can be placed where personal items can be placed. In addition, there is no safe in the room, which is a pity. (Original) ???????????,????,??????????????????????????????,??????????,?????????????????????????,????

Great location and lobby area is very welcoming. Staff is friendly and professional. However, rooms are a bit worn, toilet flushed with a loud "klunk", and beds in the room were small.

The rooms are nice but there are signs of some things starting to show wearing. Bathrooms are very nice. Beds are comfortable foam mattresses that i love. The pool is nice, a little cold. My wife told me there was some plumbing issues in the pool restrooms. Overall I had a nice time.

Nice secluded feeling while being in the middle of Princeton.
Mikem M.
Tucked away in country setting. Beautiful! !
Sujal P.
Have to pay for WiFi in this day and age!?
Dot R.
Property is all non smoking but the room I was assigned had an issue with smoke fumes. The front desk personnel was very promp in changing my room and taking my things to the new room
Lée D.
Staff was great! Breakfast was excellent!
Chandra S.
Very good place
Sm
Great place to stay, there is a pool, breakfast bar and fresh nice rooms.
Krishna S.
The stay here was great except there was no cellular service on their first floor.
Thomas S.
Very cozy, woodsy and super nice staff!
Russ J.
Common area bar & restaurant are nice, food so-so. Rooms partially updated. They had some power issues that caused some inconveniences for multiple guests.
Mark S.
Great hotel in woodland setting.
Noah S.
Excellent staff Very clean rooms Nice hotel and ammenedies Free parkong, pool, game room, resturant Very nice stay
Amit G.
One of the gem Marriott I have stayed at. Friendly staff and surroundings are just amazing. Feels like a nice cozy place in middle of jungle. M club is also great. One recommendation to management is to provide water bottles in each room. I love to stay hydrated and every time I had to go downstairs to get water bottles.
Suryanarayana Raju D.
Good place to walk as it is greenish and we'll organised by local government.
David R.
Really nice hotel, very quiet and with many places to "hide" and relax. Rooms are good enough, not huge but not small either. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and comfortable. It would have been nice to be able to open the window in the room or have a small balcony. The hotel is quite isolated but they have a choffeur service that are incredibly nice and polite, and basically they take you wherever you want if they are free (which they usually are). Front desk staff are nice but they made a couple of mistakes in taking orders for room service and for pick-up from Princeton. Surroundings are astonishing, beautiful forests and places to run and enjoy.
Bryan James L. N.
Great hotel. Excellent staff
Felisia T.
Beautiful resort, but the staff was the best feature. Dedicated to quality customer service
Leisa B.
Beautiful ,Quiet setting ( you dont hear noise from Rt.1) , clean and Great staff. Ease of finding and pulling in even with a family van or small bus to the front door. Opulescently lit, woods natural yet contempory mix of decor and feeling. Good Vibes here. Good Food n nice little bar and cafe set up inside.
Jeffrey D.
My stay was a disaster there was blood on the toilet seat and half drunk bottles in the mini fridge Then the power went out and there were lights but no heat/ Air conditioning. The front desk never responded to my questions about what was going on
Jenna L.
great hotel with great amenities like the m club but their greatest asset is their staff!
Cave A.
This was a nice venue for a recent vendor presentation.
Tom
Very nice hotel, just as you'd expect from Marriott.
Maryellen L.
Wonderful wedding
Hannah M.
Nice staff, fantastic food at Iron & Ivy, and comfortable rooms.
Paul L.
5 stars if you are a tennis player, as they have an indoor tennis court next to the property, and the tennis academy located there is supposed to give 50% discounts on lessons to hotel guests! The room downstairs, with 2 queen-size beds, was a bit noisy, with the mattress being somewhat hard. But hotel staff was REALLY ACCOMMODATING, and when the room on the 3rd floor became available the next day, they gave it to me. That one was a pleasure to stay at! King-size bed was more comfortable, shower was more modern, the room had much quieter AC, and had a great view onto the wooded area.
Brianne M.
Beautiful hotel..pool and fitness center...staff was very nice
Vijeet G.
Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The hotel presents with a camping like feel with its structure and ambience. 24 hr room service which is pretty friendly. Pricing is a bit on the higher side considering all the offerings of the hotel.
Delphine N.
Beautiful brick building situated in a nice and green lot. Clean and great services. Amenities and supplies have a neat and newer look. Food was good. I wish there was more variety but it’s fine for a business breakfast and lunch. Overall, it’s a good place to stay while visiting Princeton.
Adam G.
Pool and shuffleboard tables at the bar are a welcome bonus for this location
Noelle T.
Great conference space with great rooms. The decor is very nice. Love the exposed brick and wood support beams. The outdoor patio was nice to drink at. The bar had a good selection on tap. I want to go to the pool next time! The rooms were very clean with great beds. The conference rooms were large with AMAZING food. The only downside was the confusing smaller conference rooms so I went in 3 circles before finding the room I was looking for.
Josh B.
Very nice hotel with many amenities. Killer shower
Ron T.
I'm here for a conference. The conference facilities are excellent. The bar was fairly Lively at night. The beds were comfortable but the room is extremely hot because the air conditioner didn't work. Also the parking is a bit far from the entrance to the hotel.
Rakesh R.
An old style brick wall property. The hotel has a classic charm to it and the layout is spacious and refreshing. Rooms while old style are well equipped and nicely maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Fredvondog N.
Had a great family weekend in January 2018!! Food was great and service exceptional. Hotel pool kept the kids busy..
Dean W.
Really enjoyed this property, nothing fancy but excellent service, clean and comfortable. The M Lounge is outstanding, especially the hosts. Location is a bit off the beaten path but during Summer and Fall I can imagine it's a stunning location.
Allison F.
Well to start we had reservations for three rooms and when we showed up to sign in they told us that they had "a situation". They overbooked the evening and they wanted us to see if we could make other arrangements. They didn't give us options they just gave us the run around. Finally after asking what we were to do they said there was a suite available. We asked to see it and it was very small and didn't accommodate to our plans for our business trip. They sent us to the Hyatt Place. What a joke. I will never stay at a Marriott again.
Pat J.
Service was very good.
Joseph G.
Very nice facility. Rooms are well kept. Pool area is very nice. Water and pool deck was warm. Restaurant was food was very good but service was slow. I am not certain it was because of weekend or just the norm. Outside ground looked nice but not kept up.
Charisse M. P.
Beautiful hotel!
Mitesh P.
This is a nice place to stay away from crowd plus all easily accessible from main root.

Passing through to visit a friend who was in town for a conference. Definitely a nice ski lodge feel and a great place to have a quiet and classy night out with friends. You will forget you are in NJ and think you are in Aspen, CO. Highly recommended!
Samuel Eitan C.
Love this Marriott. Very professional staff, and very enjoyable and location reminds me of a Swiss chalet!
Joseph B.
Love this place enough said.

Elia M.
Very classy and beautiful hotel everybody is so pleasant the food is fabulous there are recommended to anybody go there you'll love it just like me
Tejas P.
Location is not easy to access.
Deborah E.
Love this place!! They've changed the bar area where you could play pool, table boiche ball, and darts. Not sure if their putting it back or improving the space. Love their coziness even though it's a decent size place. Their attention to your needs and request are exceptional for a conference or meeting. As a weekend getaway, you'll love the walking trails, tennis, spa, pool, hot tub, fitness center and restaurant.
Husain S.
Good staff
Jose' A.
Good ambiance, late check-out, early check in,
Michael B.
It’s an older property, but it’s always well-maintained, and they are making some great updates. The staff is always amazing and friendly.
Te-Sheng L.
I was full of expectations when I booked the night, but met with disappointments for my stay. The hotel was outdated and needed a deep cleaning. Walking in the hallway made you felt like in a cheap motel with bleach smell and dirty carpet. But I did like the staff, they were polite, nice and willing to resolve your issues. My package included the free breakfast and it was ok with omelet station. The morning breakfast was a little bit chaotic with some tables were reserved for the varsity team and we had to seat myself and merged the tables. But once you settled down, the staff were nice and attentive. The night was not peaceful because even at 1:42 pm you could still hear kids running in the hallway and guests slamming the doors. I had trouble to find a light switch to turn off the light near the entrance door. After I complained via the chat in the app, the hotel offered me late check out at 3 pm next day so I could compensate my sleep. The best thing for my stay was the shower and I enjoyed it. My stay included the in-and-out valet parking and it was great too.

Great stay. Used the pool and the gym and both were clean and we'll maintained. Rooms were clean as well. Staff was friendly. But go some place else for breakfast. The restaurant on site was aweful. Bad service and food was not great.
Emmaree C.
Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere the rooms are clean

Great hotel with a full service spa. A little dated, but very nice

This is the third time I have stayed here. The staff is friendly, the restaurant has good food, the parking is free, the rooms are clean and well appointed. What more do you want?
Elihu S.
Helpful, cheerful staff. Very comfortable accommodations.

Beautiful place with a wonderful friendly staff. Very accommodating and located in walking distance of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

By far greater then the westin. Clean kitchen and wonderful staff. The rooms are nothing to get excited about but it gets the job done. Cleanliness is #1 in my book.
Valsen V.
Nice place to have breakfast & conference.
Vivek S.
Corrupt Hotel , Being a platinum member , i was entitled to the Guaranteed Room Type and Guaranteed Platinum Arrival Gift . But i didn't receive any , When i contacted them regarding this , they blatantly declined the guest compensation by quoting a workaround . the conversation was not friendly and they didn't follow the policy . Never Expected this from a reputed hotel !!!!
Jayarangan R.
we has our holiday party here. Good place fir that?
Lauren U.
I have been here several times over past 15+ years, including when it opened under different name, primarily for business conferences. I think it is time for a refresh. It is starting to feel a bit dated. The food is still good but staff not as attentive to details as they once were.
Bo S.
Very accommodating when you need to present business materials
Dick M.
Clean

Warm reception, helpful staff, responsive meeting support and beautiful environs.

Location is easily accessible from any direction. I was there for a conference. The food was fantastic; biscotti for afternoon break with coffee was a great treat! The meeting rooms were acceptable, although a few were tight for space. Overall, this venue was perfect for a conference.
David B.
A delightful setting with attentive staff, upgrades an added plus.

Upon arrival there were no bell hops or valet attendants to greet me. I thought at first I was at the wrong place. Once I found the bell hop he was very professional. Check in went smoothly. We went for a QUICK dinner at the pub. Once again we were not greeted by a hostess. Waited several minutes, all the tables were reserved or dirty, looked around, still no one greeted us. Finally we had to ask the bartender for a table and he cleaned one for us. Then we waited several minutes for service. Once we received service everyone was very polite and professional, but then i had to wait for a long time for a check. My quick dinner ended up taking an hour and 40 minutes. We have a very early start and are trying to go to bed early. Constantly being awaken by house keeping knocking on doors, people walking and talking loudly in the hall, and the walls shake when the rooms next to us slam their doors. Right now i would never stay here again and one of the worst Marriott experiences I have ever had.
Tara S.
Room was nice, clean. Bed comfortable and nice bathroom. Service was great, everyone was polite, courteous and kind. Food from the bar was good, food from the actual restaurant was decent. Shuttle service is included to go into town was great.
Hannington M.

Comfortable stay
Jackie Sailsman M.
Great hotel. Location is good. Needs more outside lighting .
Lily B.
Beautiful place, nice stone work and decor. This place pushed our conference over the top just because it was so accommodating. The bars are good too, although they close a little early.
Deidre D.
I was here for a wedding. The space and food were both great but I thought it was weird the servers never once came around to fill up our water. Also dessert was placed as one plate in the middle of each table so I didnt get anything! Not sure if that is the venue or the choice. Beautiful space for a wedding though
Neil S.
Nice rooms, very comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful. Only complaint was the shower, temps labeled wrong, stall door kept eerily sliding open.
Dustin R.
Great venue
Matt C.
A great facility for a conference, great access, close parking and great food.
Anthony D.
Njsc visit. Good space for convention.
Satish S.
Good for conference as well as for weekend gateway. Top service. Excellent wooded surroundings.
Valeed S.
Nice staff. The property is not what you'd expect
Andre C.
Honestly this is how all Marriott's should be, perfect service and amazing food enough said!
Haley P.
Very nice facility for events. Recent renovations are very nice, and make the areas appear very open and clean.
Pedro M.
First time at this former Scandinavian architectural master piece owned/managed by Marriott... a true pleasant unexpected surprise. The whole experience was a Big5, the staff friendliness and willingness to provide support, the room, the maid, the pool, the gym, the surrounding forest embracing the building with a halo of peace..!
Marilyn B.
Princeton Marriott at Forrestal is my favorite Mariott hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and polite. However, the wifi service in the rooms need to be improved.
Anna C.
Love the spa service. Probably would only return only because of that.
Shawn T.
Excellent definitely recommending to others

Egor Z.
Decent hotel but every time I stayed I had problems. Internet not working, no running water, no hot water, evacuations at 4am... The list just goes on. It is a bit outdated and it's showing signs. The bar is great and the manager is amazing. Hopefully the renovations will fix some of the issues.
Betsy D.
Fine hotel, walls are really thin.
Ram J.
This hotel is situated in a way where your cell phone service is virtually non existent. WiFi is not free but will cost you $13 - $15 per day depending on what speed you choose. Breakfast is not free but somewhat pricey starting at $9 for pastries and coffee. The lighting in the rooms are dreary and depressing. Depending on where your room is if you're on the second or third floor, you could end up dragging your luggage a quarter of a mile once you get off of the elevators. Wheew!!!
Jamey H.
Beautiful facility and grounds with a professional and friendly staff. Excellent hotel.

Beautiful location and staffs are amazing, during the winter storm they kept everyone cars clean of the snow in the parking lot. Thanks a lot Mariott Princeton!!
Hongce Z.
Not really sure of it but my friend told me that they don't have free Wi-Fi.
Bridget J.
Nice relaxing atmosphere
Sara M.
Beautiful hotel! Great amenities
Michelle J.
Nice rooms.
David H.
An older building but one of the better Marriott properties I've been to in a while. Staff went above and beyond to give good customer service. Concierge lounge had more options than most, and they leave food available all night until closing rather than taking it in around 7:30 like most places. Gym was fairly spacious but equipment filled up quickly one of two mornings. The service in the restaurant was slower than I'd expect, but not a huge deal. Got a couple apologies from staff for delay. I'd absolutely stay here over the Renaissance property near the airport.
Larry M.
Nice rooms. Great pool with whirlpool.
Emma A.
Food is good and facilities are well kept
Ann Ak K.

12/13/14 The Best Day of my life to date. Princeton Marriott and their staff made it so. Our wedding was amazing, great food, amazing service, everything was as discussed. They were great and I highly recommend them for any large party!
Saurav M.
Great venue for a holding a corporate event.
Tirusha D.
So once you have your wedding at the Marriott, is it customary for the people who were assisting you in planning your wedding, to stop replying to your emails? Great customer service strategy! Emailed our event coordinator for another project which we did in Nov and never heard back from her after my wedding (which was in August). Will never recommend the Marriott to anyone. And on top of that, my mom notified you guys about missing food from our caterer which was never given to us, instead he saw the wait-staff eating the food. Shame on you guys. We never at at the wedding and this caterer packed us food which we never got to take home either. As per our contract, someone was supposed to be there to "take care of us" during the wedding, ensuring that we were personally served, etc. Nothing was done of that nature. Instead my maid of honor had to do everything. Overall, for the money we paid to have our wedding & reception there, I felt that they did not live up to the Marriott name. Worse customer service ever!!
Goldendoodle Bling W.
I love going here. it's such a serene location with surrounding trees. the resort is a little old but comfortable and relaxing.
Beonca B.
The Marriot is a nice hotel! I just wish the front desk lady that works their at the night shift wasnt so rude. She gave me and my family an attitude and seemed to be very rascist. I mean we are paying like everyone else, dont see the problem?! Although the hotel stay was nice; my experience at the front desk lady was so degrading that i will not be returning!
Toni L.
The hotel was beautiful but I wAs completely embarrassed and hurt by the treatment of the hotel manager. I am a woman of color and I planned a getaway for my daughter's bday. The manager spoke to me like I was a dog in the presence of my two daughters and grandson. I used to think that the Marriot had higher standards. The manger wAs a racist and she humiliated me and my family in the presence of other guests.. Please think twice about staying here if you are a person of color. She ruined my entire weekend. This will be my last time staying at the Marriot at any location.
Ricardo C.

Nice and comfortable hotel. They care about their visitors and have a very nice staff. Pool and spa are nice, restaurant is good and lots of space for meetings or conferences.
Annette Guss S.
High quality Marriott
Marlene S.
Extremely satisfied with this hotel. The property is pretty large and gorgeous views. The staff very friendly and today was a peaceful day. The gazebo was extra special to take pictures and the pool very nice. The only dissapointing this g was that I was unable to book an appointment for a full message. Other than that highly recommend this place.
Ivan R.
Nice and quiet
James R.
Excellent venue for events of all types
Chris M.
The staff and faculty was awesome.
Kunal S.
Very nice, quiet, & secluded location that makes you forget that you're in the most densely populated state in America
Edward C.
The room was very nice. I had complimentary wifi that did not work at all, and the front desk connected me to tech support to get all my devices up and running. Nice room and atmosphere.
Florence M.
I had a great time on June 24, 2016. Had reservations for my boyfriend's birthday. Ricky reserved a special table for me and it really started the night off perfect. Thanks to him and his staff, we has a great dinner and perfect evening. The room was just perfect also and breakfast in bed was also perfect. Could not have asked for a better evening. Thank you.
Scott L.
Great hotel, great wedding
Sean M.
We loved the hotel but we were under the impression that the tennis courts were included in the hotel stay but they were not.
Jessie C.
I only visited the lobby, but it was very comfortable
Dorothy V.
Was there for a business conference. Was very well managed, good support staff/ service, wonderful food and good rooms.
St M.
Nice conference center with abundant parking. The food and drinks are great. Amenities are modern and in good condition. At first the conference rooms can be confusing to navigate but is easy once you get a hang of it. It's in a great location with easy access to major highways.
Josh M.
Nice place, nothing special
Javier M.
Went there for the breakfast buffet. Everything was great except for the scrambled eggs. Fake as heck. I asked the omelet guy to make me fresh real scrambled eggs, and instead made me fresh fake scrambled eggs which sucked. Other than that, breakfast was good.
Daniel C.
Nice and clean
Erin K.
This Marriott had everything we needed for a girl's weekend. A wonderful SPA, indoor pool and whirlpool, a Concierge Lounge that was open on weekends and also some fabulous running trails.
Steven H.
Great green house swimming pool
Cory T.
Great service, large rooms, went above and beyond my expectations. the breakfast guys even knew my name and what drink I wanted by the 3rd day. Only issue is both bar, restaurant and breakfast bar I expected better food. So if better food would be 5 Star
Joe C.
Everything was wonderful and clean. Very enjoyable experience.
Rachel R.
Nice hotel and conference facilities. Internet access was poor.
Brian T.
I was there for a business meeting. The staff was very accommodating and everything was set up perfectly.
Elio C.
It's a beautiful location the employees lovely and the stay was amazing
Gail C.
Great place to stay.

Excellent property. Very friendly staff, nicely renovated rooms. Bit of a hike from the lobby due to the layout of the hotel, but always a great Thanksgiving weekend stay in Princeton!
Michael M.
Great food & customer care
Anthony G.

Brett B.
Great service and good food(for what it is)
Alex G.
Great.
M M.
Great hotel. Check in friendly and efficient. Nice touches like candy bar at check in. Room were big. Very clean. Wifi was working very well though.
Ales N.
Way too expensive for what I received, I even had Princeton U. discount. Most hotels offer free juice, coffee, fruit in the lobby this hotel -- nothing. Even the stupid cup of joe would cost you 3 bucks. The gym equipment was broken and pool closes way early 11AM, I travel 24/7 and wanted to use the pool. On top of it all, one had to pay for internet, crummy single bottle of water in an old beat up fridge.
Ross A.
It was a birthday getaway for the weekend with my girlfriend. The food at the bar restaurant and room service was out of this park. The 80 minute massage was much needed, and the masseuse was extremely professional and knowledgeable about relieving my pain. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub, and the room amenities were extremely convenient. I would go back in a heart beat!
Alan H.
Beautiful resort in woodland setting but convenient to Princeton and Rutgers. Very nice health club and walking trails. Bikes are gratis. Good food in concierge room complimentary for Rewards guests. Free parking. Very relaxing hotel. .. what's not to like?
Srikanth S.
we did our sister wedding here in the ball room. great location , and staff was friendly and courteous. pricing for the entire wedding package was reasonable.
Vinod R.
One of the nicest location and property offered by the Marriott brand. Great hotel layout and the ambience feels like a resort in middle of a forest. Hotel is also close to restaurants, malls and princeton downtown. Great experience!
