Super disappointing. Couples massage for our anniversary. The room and bed was cold. Barely used oil. Rushed us as we were talking clothes off. We had mimosas but didn't have time to drink it. Won't be taking back here.

Thanks for a great massage! The Lady that worked on me was awesome! Sorry... didn't get her name.

It's ok, it's hard to find a good massage in the US once you've been to Asia.

Wrong address given, so we were late 10 minutes. They deducted that time from our session. Not professional.... Lady on the phone didn't sound very friendly and enthusiastic. Not professional.... Massage of legs did not go above knees. Not professional... We had voucher that included "Aroma Therapy", but there was not such a thing. Not professional... On the check-out we were asked for - tip, like it is "must". Not professional, at all... I've seen much friendlier and more professional places.

My friend and I went for a girls spa day we did the merry and bright package and it was far from that. During the massage they kept bumping into us and the table. They rinsed towels in the room which was very load. They kept talking to each other during the treatments. The steamer didn’t work for the facial so they just said forget it. The pedicure was horrendous. It’s an at home pedicure bath. Their nail polish selection is very slim and it was very uncomfortable. They never offered us options to customize our facial like the package says. They didn’t offer mimosas or green tea like the package says and they also didn’t give us the free image gift set the package is supposed to come with. This place was a joke and their services were horrible.

Did the package in the picture. Put firm on massage and it was not. She used enough oil for 2 people. The salt scrub would of been nice if she hadn't tried to rub the skin off the top of my foot. The facial started off nice, but then the steamer was having issues so she didnt use another one, just skipped that. Left with my greasy and felt nasty. And the pedicure oh lawd. They used the spa baths from like walmart. My nails had jagged edges somehow. The polish looked like a 2 year old did it so I had to ask her to take it off. Terrible. I will be getting a new pedi tomorrow. Also never got the free gift. Apparently they dont do that right now..

Me and my husband got a couple's massage and it was wonderfull, only advice I've got is that the pressure is a little too much, we got medium pressure and it felt hard, so maybe go with light at first and see how you like it, besides that the staff is really nice and proffesional, we got champagne and a mimosa. Definetly a must try.

I have been going to Avia Spa at least a year. I found it on Groupon. The service is awesome! Every time I scheduled an appointment, she gets me in there at a reasonable date and time. They were professional and the massage packages were reasonable too.

This is the best massage place I have ever been too. This is my second year coming. The staff is friendly and caring they make sure the clients are happy and they love to treat you good I highly recommend this place for a special or any day relaxation day.

Found out about them on Groupon. First of all, their name is not Avia, it's Mocee. When I called, they even greeted with the name Avia. The building and business card say Mocee. Secondly, the address is wrong on the website. So it's like they are doing business under both names. Sketchy? My Groupon was expired, so it worked like a gift card instead. My husband and I went in for a couples massage and they didn't ask which one. So we ended up paying an extra 30 dollars plus tip for them to rub my back for 45 minutes on top of my 95 dollar groupon. They continually rubbed the same spot and poured way too much oil on me. Lastly, they ignored my note to avoid my left shoulder blade, and despite my clear wincing, proceeded to rub it. I just wanted to ask for them to stop completely. So if you like being confused, irritated, and greasy go on ahead.

This is the best massage place in Indiana. If you like Asian massage, this is the place to go.

I got my wife a gift certificate at Avia/MoCee for a Valentines Day present. We did a couples massage and it was wonderful. We were both in the same room and we each had our own masseuse. The lights were low, the music was soothing, and the massage was wonderful. It was a great atmosphere and a great Valentines Day present!

My brother and his family were visiting from out of town, so we sent them all to Avia/MoCee for a treat. My sister-in-law is very particular about what she wants. My brother usually complains that he can’t get a deep enough massage and they don’t dig out his knots. Both of them came back going on and on about how terrific this was. It was everything they wanted but don’t get other places. Even the two teenagers, who probably never had a massage before, said they couldn’t wait to go back again.

From the moment we walked in the door, we could tell this was going to be good. We were welcomed warmly, offered a water, were impressed with the stylish décor, filled out an information sheet so they knew exactly what we wanted. My boyfriend and I did a couples massage. It was comfortable and relaxing in the room. The massagers were professional and quiet. They obviously were very skilled. It went on for a long time and felt glorious. Needless to say, we’re planning our next visit!

I recommend Avia Spa for anyone who wants a real massage. These people know what they’re doing.

The best massage in town! I have been to many massage therapies but this is the best one. Unlike other places, They paid attention where you need, treat you like a queen and just right. Avia has change location and changed their name to "MoCee Day Spa" which I am not sure why? but it even better, the location, decorations and even more the services.

My daughter brought me to the Hamilton Towne Center location a few weeks ago and I loved it! Ho (hope I spelled her name correctly) was great. She was not too hard on my muscles (or too light). This is by far, the best massage I have ever had. I totally recommend coming in to see them. You will love it.

I took my mom here for a treat over this past weekend. It was amazing!! It was my first ever professional massage and I'm hooked! We will be back, again!! Again and again and again! Thank you!!

Called to schedule a appointment today and was told they had availability, however once I told them I had purchased their Groupon voucher for two 1 hour massages I was told they didn't have availability for two days. I don't understand merchants who offer discount services and then want to limit your access to them. I would avoid this merchant or atleast do not mention any discounts you may have until after you book your appointment.

This was the most uncomfortable spa experience and massage I have ever had. The place was noisy with slamming doors, banging, and people talking the entire time we were trying to relax for our couples massage. They also told us we would get mimosas because we were using a Groupon (actually- we didn't purchase through Groupon, we bought the same deal directly from the spa because they asked us to) and mimosas were never even mentioned during our visit. In addition, the person who was massaging me did not seem to be experienced at all. I have had many massages before and never felt so uncomfortable. I am not convinced that he is a licensed professional. He did not put a pillow under my ankles, so my knees began to lock up and cut off circulation to my feet, leaving me squirming for comfort. He did not adjust the head rest to my comfort, and he did NOT know how to massage. Laying mostly undressed in a massage bed, it's hard to get comfortable anyways and even harder to tell the apparent professional that what he's doing is miserable. Lastly, the staff were talking to one another during our massage. Very rude and unprofessional. Will never return or recommend this business to anyone. This establishment needs to seriously reconsider its practices if it wants to be successful.

I do not have a review yet, as I just made an appt for 2 this upcoming Saturday. However, I'm a little confused as to the phone number I called, not being the same place listed? I was told the location moved down the ways a little to a better facility. The name wasnt even the same as AVIA. Please can someone give me a little information? Thank you
Jessyca E.
Don't mention Groupon when scheduling your appointment. If you do they push your appointment out 3 weeks or more. Unfortunate that they use Groupon to get business then treat customers who purchased Groupons differently.

I was torn about how many stars to give Avia Spa and actually came back and revised my review to 2 stars because I've never been this sore after a massage. I got a package with a facial and massage and was satisfied when I left. The facial was awesome, she did a great job and my skin was glowing afterwards. The massage definitely left something to be desired. As someone who gets massaged frequently, the experience just felt a little off. My massage therapist was yawning and burping way too many times during my massage for it not to be awkward. I caught myself wondering several times if he was actually licensed as he did not put a bolster under my ankles and I felt like he applied too much direct pressure to my spine. The day after my appointment, my back felt bruised and it hurt to move. I've gone from thinking the massage was a little off to being sure that my therapist had no idea what he was doing. I've had deep tissue massages before and have never felt like this after a massage. I feel like I actually have bruising on my spine. I would go back for a facial, but never a massage.

My husband and I bought a Groupon for a couples massage. We will not be returning. Overall, the massage was okay, but the experience was kind of sketchy. The massage room door did not close properly, so you had to slam it. (There was an over-the-door hook rack on the door, which was making it stick.) So, when they told us to undress for the massage, they had to slam the door behind them. Then, at the conclusion of our massage, the therapists left without closing the door all the way. So, I had to get my husband to shut the door so that I wasn't flashing anyone in the hall. The whole place smelled like fish food. My husband thought it smelled like hermit crabs. Whatever the odor, it wasn't good. For the first half of our massages, we were distracted by the weird smell. They also forgot to turn music on in our room. So, we were in a completely quiet room that smelled funky. Not relaxing.

I've had dozens of massages. This was by far the most uncomfortable. I was given an opposite-sex therapist without being asked if it was okay first. I felt like the therapist was very inappropriate in his hand placement throughout the massage and failed to drape me appropriately. I felt like I was on the verge of being propositioned the entire time.

It was a great experience. This was the first time I have been to a spa and I booked a package, with the full body massage, facial and a pedicure. It was awesome. The massage was great! He did my back, arms, legs, feet, and scalp! Very relaxing and I felt less tense. The facial was nice as well, it was so calming. I went with my best friend and she agreed it was a great experience. The mimosas were pretty sweet too!

My husband & I got the couples massage for Valentine's Day...a TOTAL waste of money!! First of all we were greased up like Thanksgiving turkeys, then they basically rubbed us down with no massaging going on at all! Not once did they touch our arms, hands, or feet. We've had our fair share of massages & this was by far the worst. Maybe our therapists were tired since it was a busy V-day with extended hours (ours was at 9 pm) I feel like that's no excuse for poor service that we paid good money for. Beware of this place if it's a busy time of year. We left frustrated & confused by the minimal massage.

It was good time for me I can feel very relaxed over there

You will be rushed into a private luxurious room. Finding yourself twittling your fingers, counting the ceiling tiles, only to come out 20 minutes later to hear the woman say, "I forgot about you" "so sorry, so sorry" You can reschedule? Awful customer service.

Been multiple times for massages. Love the place. Everyone is so nice. Great massage therapists! Thoughtful, courteous, relaxing. Have had three different therapists and all we VERY good. I highly recommend this place. GO.

I could not get them to call me back, and once they did I could not get an appt time that would work. Very frustrating experience!!!

Buyer be ware!!! I was given a gift of a spa package with 6 bulleted items. I received 4 and was told after the fact that the other 2 were "options" that would take time away from the full body massage, and I was too late to exercise those options. The massage was great. The Mani pedi was good. Basic painting, with a foot soak. And the mimosa was tasty. But not worth $169 (valued at $269 according to their site). When I went back with the printed list to complain again about not getting the full package/value they were 10 minutes late to open the building, none of the staff was there, the manager was going to be an additional 10 minutes late. Full price for my services was $60 for the massage and $100 for the mani peti. So the Mimosa was $9 and there was no deal to be had. Even if I had the opportunity for the other services valued at $35 and $15 the value of $269 is a lie. The only compensation they were willing to give is a discount if I used them again. Good services but poorly managed and poorly priced.

The staff is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is quiet and they are consistent in honoring each appointment, making each experience refreshing.

I had a massage at Avia and woke up with bruises and pain in my back. Today I had a facial and at the end, the charged me $45 extra because they said AFTER my facial that the coupon had expired!! Totally not worth $90. What a rip off

I have several physical hindrances (which I wont bore you with the details ... I swear) that while i am able to manage cleanliness that is about the extent of it. Exfoliation is not something I can handle and as well all know that can create issues of its own. I happened upon a Living Social mention of their facilities and went to their website. The website gives you a tour of the facilities so you have a good representation ambiance and hygiene. Their services are conveniently listed and if you need something special or a combination of services they are very willing to provide exactly what you need not just the packages they offer. They offer both high and low tech services which was very cool. The hours of operation are so there is no way you can't get any appointment to fit your schedule. I have been a spa fiend for decades and I can't say that I have ever seen this level of availability that wasn't associated with a cruise or hotel. Whether or not you have a voucher of some kind the prices are reasonable at the outset but once you have received the service no matter how much you paid you know you have received a bargain. I arrived and filled out the usual forms. Then, I had a consultation which included what I was trying to achieve with the services I requested. I was offered additional options and educated regarding the conditions I was attempting to manage. I know I said I was going to bore you with my medical details but I will say talking about them was a humiliating and embarrassing prospect but all the personnel I encountered made me feel comfortable and relaxed. In the end, I felt amazing. My skin was as I hoped it would be. Some pain I had when I walked in was gone. I felt cleaner than I have in longer than you want to know. I have a big hygiene thing and so that was just an enormous relief. Bottom line, the staff is polite, attentive and professional; just a delight to interact with on all levels. The facilities are calming and tastefully appointed. The massage table itself is heated so no first entry cold sheet shock. The covering blanket is an amazing soft Sherpa style microfiber. There were no off notes in this well of both maintenance, indulgence and pampering. Things we all need from time to time. By the by, they do have a monthly wellness package which makes it even more practical to treat yourself better.

I've been for couple's massages several times. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The massages (especially when you get the Groupon price) is beyond reasonable for the services provided.

My friend and I get massages often. This place knows how to do massages. We traveled from Lafayette and it was worth it. We will be back.

Complete fail. Went for a relaxing couples massage. My therapist phone kept going off. It was laying next to me and I could feel it vibrate every time. She would then pick it up and text back. If that wasn't horrible enough another employee enters the room and has a conversation with my therapist. I have no idea what was said as it was in another language. They switched off. So I had two different people working on me at different times. Talk about an awkward experience. I never could "relax" between the phone, someone entering our room to interrupt, the change out of therapists during the massage. I'll never go back. I'm utterly sore across my shoulders and neck. Yes it was a medium strength massage, but wow I hurt today. PASS on this one. Groupon is how we found this place.....so be advised to go somewhere else.

My mom and I got massages here and we both loved it! They did such a good job that I paid for my next appointment in advance.

My friend and I went for facials and massages and they were amazing! For the price and service we definitely got our money's worth. I went in with a headache and walked out feeling great! The facial was nice and relaxing, she was gentle yet thorough doing the extraction part. The massage was very deep tissue and again it was great, she checked several time throughout the massage to ensure that the pressure was ok. So not only did I leave there with my skin glowing, but my entire body felt wonderful! I had no issues with them being rude as previous reviews stated about the amount I tipped and I found them to be very friendly! Will definitely go again when in the area!
Edson P.
I do definitely agree with the two comments below. I pay with my credit card on the phone to make a reservation for a friend, and after two days I get charge again, so I called them and they said the charged was for the tips, I was so mad that they still had my credit card information on hand, and not hesitate to charge a second time. They said they'll fix it, and it's been more than a week and I still don't see my refund. I 'm thinking maybe they do not get pay for what they do or what is going on, but asking for more tips it's not very professional at all. The service was ok and it seems they are eager to finish so that they can collect the tips. Don't pick this one, you don't know what would they do with you credit card info.
Feras M.
not very friendly and little copious. they don't respect their appointments with customers. expect high tips or they get mad.. skip this one!!!
