Fabulous experience

I just had a back and face facial by Sarah. The secret to a great experience is not just a good quality product, but the customer service. I am not the kind of person that enjoys the small talk, and Sarah was perfect. I went in, was given the necessary instructions to get ready with great politeness, and other than a few back and forth question and answers, I was allowed to enjoy the sound of the relaxing music, trickling water out of the fountain, and the general peaceful ambience. The only reason for giving it four stars and not five is that one of the hot towels on my face didn't smell super crispy clean. I would have enjoyed some citrus or eucalyptus essential oil, depending on the time of the application. I will be coming back. Thank you.

I was getting a facial for my engagement shoot, which should be a happy day, but I came across the rudest owner I have ever met. I called last week after making an appointment with my Groupon (for a 60min massage) because I could only get a 30min massage. I did not ask the woman there if I could split up the Groupon, but she instead offered that to me. She said, "just let them know that you spoke to me when you get in and tell them you want to split it up." I told her I wanted to check and would call her back. I then recalled and asked her again, and she reiterated that I could. Today, I got a call from the owner (A WEEK LATER) stating that I could not split it up. I told her that I called and was told by the receptionist that I could. She told me that I had made that up and that it isn't true. I explained to her that it was and asked for the name of the woman who gave me false information. She repeated again that the Groupon stated that I couldn't split up. Again, I said, I understand, but the woman offered to do that. She got very angry and began to say that I was wrong. I asked for the manager and she said she was the owner. I asked for her name, and she said she wouldn't give it. I then began to talk and she talked over me, I asked her to let me talk and she said, and I quote, "No, I'm not going to let you do that." I told her I would be speaking with corporate about her attitude, and she said "Go ahead, they can't do anything." I immediately called back and canceled my appointment. Not only will I not be giving my business here, I am contacting corporate and making sure that everyone knows that this owner does not respect customers. This is NOT a way to treat someone, in or out of a business.

After a Great weekend of jumping out of planes at Skydive Carolina or a Tough Weekend Pitting race Cars, I go see the STAFF at Merle Norman. Everyone there is extremely nice and always in a fantastic mood. The studio is clean and the vibe is totally RAD. Conveniently located less than a mile from my house I sometimes just stop in to say hi and occasionally bring them Starbucks.. Stay Positive, Be Positive and Positive things will happen to you too.. I received a Groupon here as a gift and was excited to get a 60 minute facial. i was on time for my appointment, but had to wait 30 minutes before I was helped into a room. The facial (which was supposed to be 60 minutes) was only 30 minutes and when I approached the woman about it, she said it's typical for them to be shorter. I was then forced to pay a required tip on top of what had been paid for the Groupon which was an unexpected charge. I was told I would get some free samples of their products and was not given any. It was a disappointing experience and I will not be back. The women working there were all eating their lunches and chatting with each other instead of helping their customers. I will find other places from now on to receive beauty treatments.

this place was great. the staff are very nice and it a very clean place. a nice place to relax and get worked on. i really like the wine i was served with my signature mani and pedi.
