      Tried calling for a solid month to make an appointment they did not answer or even bother to call back. They are sharing false advertisement. The laser they are using is not the correct laser that should be used. They have a machine with the correct laser and they don’t even use it because it’s more expensive. The staff is not even trained to let us know what kind of laser they are using. When I asked the tech what kind of laser it was, because this is not the first time I would get laser treatment, she said she didn’t know. Technicians are supposed to be trained if they are using laser. When I tried to confront them they seemed extremely worried and offered a full refund. Would not recommend.

      I love this place because there are so many services to choose from. It is basically a one-stop shop for all your beauty needs. I have gotten a massage, facial, microblading and had my nails done on several occasions.

      I got a laser package from this establishment. Once I scheduled the first visit this place has been a total nightmare. You can never get a hold of anyone if you call to make an appointment. As I said, I got a laser treatment. This treatment involves a time lapse of four to six weeks between laser sessions. All of a sudden, after my second visit, their machine broke down and they didn’t get a new one for two months. Every time I called to check if they received a new one they would not answer my calls or even cared enough to return them. When it comes to the employees, some know what they’re doing some don’t. I have been trying to make an appointment with a specific employee, and somehow she’s never available. I finally booked an appointment with her for today. I called ahead to find out the exact time of my appointment, to make sure, and I showed up 10 minutes early. When it was time for my appointment one of the employees came towards me with her phone in her hand. Her manager/boss was on the phone and asked me if I could wait 30 minutes for them. I said, “Why am I waiting for you?” She said my appointment is actually with someone else. The employee I asked for was apparently busy for the appointment I made with her. I asked, “What is the employee doing during my appointment time?” I didn’t just walk in, I made an appointment! I asked, “Does she have another customer, or is she not here? She said that she’s not there!!! IF YOUR EMPLOYEE IS NOT THERE, WHY ARE YOU BOOKING AND CONFIRMING APPOINTMENTS AND WASTING PEOPLE’S TIME!!!!!!! I don’t suggest anyone going there for whatever the reason may be. They could do a good job with whatever service you’re getting but professionalisms is something they lack immensely. I have been very patient with them, but it’s now just simply ridiculous.

      I really hate to give a bad review to anyone, but I was very disappointed. The lady at the front desk was very rude and humiliating. I agree with all the bad reviews it is very bad customer service especially if you bought the service from GROUPON.

      They have disrespected my time and patience for last time. I made an appointment at 5 pm and arrived 15 minutes early. Even after waiting 30 minutes with no update, the staff still was not able to accommodate me, nevertheless apologize. This has happened twice. It’s not worth buying their manicure package for $300 if you will constantly be waiting for an appointment. Seek other salons.

      Terrible. Do not use this massage parlorm, especially on Groupon. I bought a voucher, called to make an appointment, and she claims they do not except Groupon. Clear scam. Terrible business practice and I can't imagine this business will continue for much longer.

      ’m so happy I found this place. I recently moved to the area and I was struggling trying to find a salon that compared to the one I go to back home. Microblading is very hit or miss and I was skeptical about visiting a new salon and trying their service. Jennifer did a great job. My eyebrows are flawless

      Made a same day appointment for "full spa treatment" and was quoted a price on the phone that was significantly higher than what is advertised, Decided just to do mani/pedi. Arrived ahead of appointment time to be told, after waiting and choosing nail color, that we'd have to wait another 1/2 hour because she wrote the phone number down wrong and couldn't call back to tell us she had made a mistake (despite having already called back to confirm the time). Then, after waiting, told us the price would be MORE than what is CLEARLY noted on the board she is literally standing in front of! I argued that I would not be paying more than the advertised price and left when she insisted that she could not give me the price listed on the board, as it was a "cash only price" (cheat the IRS much?) even though I state that I would pay in cash. Bait and switch! We found another place close by and got honest and professional service there instead.

      They are not friendly at all. They have a different price and policy with Groupon and it's not mentioned in Groupon when you purchase. Ask to buy extra cost service and push to buy package in cash etc. Not very happy

      Great experience at the spa, the manager very lovely and friendly, great sense of humor kept us laughing all through our appointment. The employees were also very professional and attentive to detail. Really enjoyed my experience today and would definitely go back there again.

After coming in to my appointment i realized i didn’t even need that groupon - there were specials available to me because it was my first time and those turned out to be a little better than the actual coupon.       HORRIBLE place! A spa is suppose to be relaxing and full of good energy. This place is nothing but a money grabbing, scam of a business. I went there for the first time for a mani/pedi (Groupon) and eyelash extensions. As soon as I walked in she made me feel very uncomfortable for using the groupon, telling me I needed to pay more on top of it and leave a tip before getting the services done - I refused. Not to mention the sign on the counter ‘educating’ people of proper tipping etiquette. How about Jenifer reads up on proper spa etiquette too?! In the course of getting my stuff done, I saw Jenifer get into 4 altercations with customers over using Groupon and tips. She shamed one lady with her young daughter so bad, the woman was basically in tears and walked out. Why do Groupon if you then make people feel so uncomfortable. She had to leave the room twice while doing my eyelashes to have disputes with customers - I could hear loud and clear because things got heated. I tipped the girls who did my nails but I explained to Jenifer I would not be tipping her due to her professionalism and making me feel uncomfortable. She scoffed at me and I explained hopefully we can try again next time. I wanted to give them a 2nd chance because I thought maybe it was just an off day. I booked another appointment a few months later and was told not to purchase services through groupon and they will honor the same price. Well I barely stepped into the “spa”, when I was verbally attacked by Jenifer, telling me to get out of the store because I had left horrible reviews about her salon (which I had not) and did not tip her last. Save your money and time! Don’t put your money and energy into such a horrible place. I make sure to tell everyone to stay away! All the trouble they put you through plus their services are subpar to any average place. Stay away!

      I don't know what to say exactly. This has been a nightmare. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I have now had three terrible experiences with this salon. I am fair and give ppl the benefit of the doubt but repeatedly the owner, Jennifer has been rude and over assertive. My first visit was lovely. My second visit, they had me wait 1 hour and then put me with an under experienced tech who made a major waxing mistake. My third visit they tried to make me wait 1+ hour for service. On my fourth and last visit as I tried one more time to give this place a chance... the owner told my friend and I to go tip more after we had tipped fairly well. Spare yourselves.

      Worst .est ... customer service.there is no zero rating, so only i gave 1. The team doesn’t care for customers experience or issues. My interaction with this salon is a nightmare.Their business model is not prepared for adversities and the customers is the only one to suffer. I tried contacting the so called manager for last 1 and half months but in-vain. Very creepy staff..they talk in some language at the back and tell you that they don’t have the managers contact in any form..bulls..t that is!! In which business model does the staff not have a mangers /owners business contact? And manger is never on site when you call or visit. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON IF YOU ATLEAST WANT AN AVERAGE EXPERIENCE

      Since I started pedicure my feet skin is much softer and I stop bleeding as they are less dry. As none of them are native English speaker, you need to repeat and express on another way to be understood. Real deep tissues massage available and cover by most health insurance company when you ask her license information.

I ended up in the ER at 1pm and therefore was unable to go to my appointment. Sorry, but when I'm in the ER with a health concern the last thing I am worried about is cancelling my nail salon appointment. 1 day later I call to reschedule and apologize for missing, and was told that my ER visit didn't matter and they were going to charge me a fee and have already redeemed my groupon. They were so unbelievably rude. I don't know how this place is still in business with the reviews it gets but I'm assuming they are on their way out of business if they have to take money from someone like this. Terribly unhappy.

      I don’t know how people were even able to make an appointment at this place. I called multiple times over the past three months and every time except this last time my number was taken and was told someone would call back. Never did. Finally this last attempt I was in the process of making the appointment but everything was booked for when I was free before the GroupOn expired. I have never experienced a business not want to jump on an opportunity to make an appointment immediately... so I returned my Groupon and will go elsewhere.

      I usually never write reviews but I recently found this place on groupon for this place and bought one groupon for a facial and one groupon for manicure and pedicure. when I called to make an appointment for both services I was told by a very rude staff member I was unable to use both groupons as it was both for my self and in the promotional fine prints it says may buy 1 and 1 more as a gift. I bought 1 each for myself and both services are not related. I was not treated well on the phone, would not even want to find our what they are like in real life. I returned my groupon. I called back to cancel the one appointment I had made for the facial and no one even picked up the phone. If you want to promote your product then learn not to turn away customers.

      I was greeted and offered water or tea when i walked in. I was taken to the back for my massage and facial and was explained the Groupon package, three people were going to perform the services and stated the minimum tipping is $30 and asked it that was fine, which I agreed. I got ready for my massage it was a little cold in the room but once the blanket came out I was fine. Be aware the masseuse does the entire back side when laying on your stomach it was more of Swedish massage then an actual deep tissue. The facial was my favorite, the tech Nicole was very attentive, asked questions and thorough. They do try to upsell but if you say no they stop. Mani and pedicure was as expected good color options. Over all a great deal if this is your first time there! Worth all the services.

      I'm still on the fence if I'll try this salon again. There was a mix of pros and cons If you get a Groupon you must schedule ahead of time which is okay but apparently, they only take Groupon people at certain times of day. I took my morning off of work to get my nails done for my birthday. I was told to be there at 10 AM. When I arrived at, around 9:55 AM the door was locked. I waited and eventually, someone came and opened the door. The hours written right on the door say they open at 9:30 so I was a bit confused about that. The person at the front desk was not particularly welcoming, but it's a budget mani/pedi, you can't really complain. Another customer and I had to wait around 5-10 minutes after my appointment time for the employees to arrive at the salon. Being that the salon opens at 9:30 AM I was a bit surprised nothing was said. The woman that did my pedicure did a good but very basic job. She clipped and shaped the nail and did a literal "twice-over" with the foot file. I still have calluses on both my feet at my heels and by my toes. The nail polish was really nice and the other girl in the salon actually picked the same polish for her toes. The gel mani selection is really nice. They have books where they are painted on acrylics so you can see which glitters are sheer and which have more coverage. It was very helpful. My manicure tech did a nice job. A basic manicure and very little in terms of skincare or massage. Her co-worker kept coming over and talking to her so I don't know if she was taking too long but the other woman came over and basically told me I was good and could leave. I still had to put my watch and rings back on but my nail tech was hurried out of that area of the salon before I could say thank you. If you just want a basic mani/pedi to get some polish on your fingers and toes this is a salon that is clean and has competent employees. This isn't a luxury experience but it's nice enough if you want to treat yourself.

      If I could give a 0 i would. Overall experience was awful. The ladies were rude including the owner and unprofessional. I had my nails done and they cut me 3 times. Massage was so bad I cannot believe it. The lady came in and did not ask me anything but straight up pulled my undergarments down and started massaging. And I’m not talking like half an inch just for massaging but the whole thing I was so embarrassed. At the end we were ready to pay only my extra for the nails and she charged us for both mani pedi me and my bf. plus she was making faces when I tipped her 8 dollars. When I called to cancel my facial that I had two days after because they were booked even though they knew we had facials as well the owner told me you have to cancel within 24 hours or you will get charged. CHARGED HOW? Why is my cc registered onto your system? And plus I was within the cancel timeline. This is the absolute worst place to go for services. I know my comment is all over the place but my frustration is so big right now I can’t even believe it.

      I did my powder nail in Jenifer beauty center , The girl is so friendly and doing the great job . This was my second visiting even better the first time . Since I came in they asked me that do I have specific requirements for the Nana because the one did my nail that girl was off.I had a wonder time there , only one thing I’m not satisfactory because they offered the organic green tea not put sugar or honey .

      I went to Jenifer beauty center two days ago to get my nail , facial & massage done . It’s amazing experience i’ve Ever had .Before I go to that place I was hesitating because I have some lower back problem . the massage therapist Lily that she is really professional when I finished my treatment I felt new one . Then I met the athletic who is Nicole or Nikar , I couldn’t remember . She did excellent job to clean my face & explain every detail what she did , she suggested me to get some product that used at home , it works well even I was thinking she tried to sell me Sth , now it worth it . When I did my nail it was so crowded, I was worried they would rushed to me . At the end I got the best service . I almost spent the whole day there , but it really worth the money I paid .

      I feel extremely bad that I’m giving this establishment 1 star, as most Groupons are amazing but the manager and staff are sneaky, and rude. They pressured me to get the facial package several times throughout the facial and it was very uncomfortable. Especially because the facial wasn’t done. The manager was rude in the beginning but after finding out I was potentially getting the package, she was nice and very accommodating. After the facial, I realized that they didn’t (and don’t) use any legitimate facial products on the face. I did not like the pressuring of buying the package. I did not like the sneaky remarks of how great or cheap the package is. I find this establishment to be fake and a complete joke compared to others I’ve been too. I completely agree with all the negative reviews on here. I do not recommend this place at all. I think they are looking to get quick money and couldn’t careless about the customer experience. I feel horrible for writing a bad review but there are plenty of other places that will do a much better job. This place is so bad that even if each service was $20 with the package deal, I still would say no.

      When I tell you this is the PLACE TO BE when you’re looking for a spa day, I’m not kidding. Angela did my lashes and they look absolutely amazing! She then referred me to her friend for an acne facial and it was PERFECT!! People have still been complimenting my skin. It’s all clear now and my pores feel like they’re finally breathing. Thank you so much for all your hard work ladies. I appreciate you and I have some girls coming in for some lashes soon!

      The staff is very disorganized and need to work on communicating with one another. I ended up going there after seeing a groupon for eye lash extensions and I wanted to help them save money by not purchasing the groupon and giving them the full amount in person since I know they lose half from them. In order to do that I sent an email to confirm my appointment with them well in advanced and several times. When I got there, they seemed a little confused as if they weren't expecting me. I ended up doing my eye lashes, nails and pedicure and I was there from 11:30am-almost 3pm and ended up getting to my next appointment late. I decided to purchase the eyelash extension with the refill. When I sent an email for my refill appointment I never heard back. I wouldn't recommend then because they are disorganized and not trustworthy.

      This place is a rip off - in January my sister bought the couples massage for me and her and the girl that did my nails cut me 3 times (drew blood) and laughed about it with the other girl. Ok, I give them a 2nd try so I bought a couples massage and brought my sister who needed a "lift me up". We made our appointment, drove there and was REFUSED because we had been there before. The woman said in the fine print that you can not go again!!! WTH is that?? I asked if I could use it against something else and was told no. I advised them I wanted my money back and she told me that Groupon would do it. I contacted Groupon and was advised that in the "fine print" it states that the person using the coupon needs to be the person that purchased it. It DOES NOT say you can not go again!!! They also advised that they are supposed to let us use it if the promotion has expired for something else. NOT THE CASE!!! Groupon also will not refund my money. So now I am out $125.00 (which is very hard to loose). Hope they feel good about themselves taking the money for NO SERVICES PROVIDED!!!!

      The receptionist was extremely rude. She made it a point to acuse me of not booking an appointment even though my phone number was on the books. When I showed her my Groupon she then told me that I can not use it because I had been there before. This visit was the first and last time I will be visiting the salon.

      The manager and people working here are very rude. I purchased a Groupon for service and when I arrived there, on time, they redeemed my Groupon but did not give me the service. When I tried to petition to have the service, the manager reported she would call the cops. Very horrible experience.

      We went there and the first thing they tell us is you have to give a $65 -80$ tip, “do you agree?” And it has to be in cash. Not knowing we had to give a tip in cash we didn’t come prepared to give tip in cash. They said they told us and lied to us by saying the reason you rescheduled so much is so you wouldn’t have to give tip and then told us to leave the salon and go to Bank of America and get some cash from there. How dare they tell their customers to leave so we can go get some cash for them, without telling us prior to the appointment. The way they spoke to us was completely disrespectful. I do not recommend you come here. They pick out money from your pocket like that. Worst customer service ever and they are cheaters.

      This place is highly unprofessional. I ordered a Groupon 2 months ahead and it took forever for them to book an appointment for my girlfriend and I Finally after a week and a half of calling. They set me up with an appointment two months later. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The day before our appointment, of which we patiently waited for, they cancelled on us and told me to call the coupon store for a refund. Her excuse was “everyone is sick and they aren’t doing that groupon anymore” how pathetic can you be to call yourself a business like this? Something is really fishy about this place. Please stay away from this trash organization.

      The women who gave me and my friend massages were amazing they did a really good job but the lady who did my nails rushed the both of us. I had acrylics in the past she just painted right over the residue without going over it with a filer or machine. I was nervous to speak up not knowing if she was training or what, my friend spoke up because of how bad it looked. This is very lazy and the first time over ever seen this type of work we came on a Tuesday it wasn’t busy at all she could’ve took her time .

      I received a groupon as a gift and redeemed here. Salon was nice however I will not be returning. I personally had no issues with groupon but I did see/ overhear a lot of people having issues with it. They will only allow one groupon/living social deal per customer as a one time thing, if you have a groupon print it out before hand and let them know up front when making appointment. I wont be returning as I'm not 100% happy with the quality of the gel- regular pedicure came out great. The overall time it took was way to long for how it turned out. With an appointment and 2 hour meters made my overall trip took about 2.5 hours. My hunt for a regular nail salon continues. As others have posted they tired to charge a $2 sanitary fee however they wont tell you in advance and try to impose it and are also not shy about tips which is understandable to some degree.

      Was there a week ago for a mani/pedi and walked out so upset that I waited to post my review. I am still appalled by the rudeness I experienced by the lady owner at Jenifer Beauty. I tried calling three times to make an appt and there was no answer and their VM full. I was in the area and walked in. I met a gentleman at the counter who told me they can take me right away. I told him I had a Groupon and needed to be out by a certain time, he assured me it would be OK. The lady owner walked out to see the Groupon and said that I've been there before and that the Groupon was only for first-time customers. I told her that this is my first time there and have never been to there for anything. She wasn't convinced. Asked for my phone number and checked the appointment book. Didn't find me. I was brought into the pedicure room. There was one nail person finishing up a pedicure. While I waited, the gentleman pointed out that I should pay a $2 fee to help cover the cost of the disposable products they used (files, and tub liner) as I'm already paying a 'special price' for the service. The nail tech was green, but very nice and took normal amount of time. My pedicure came out OK. I was then moved into the manicure room. I'm now 15 minutes from the time I said that I needed to leave. I asked if I could come back another time for the manicure as I have to pickup my kid from school. The gentleman came out and said that the manicure could be done in 10 minutes. I don't think that's adequate time to do a complete manicure (and walking out with completely wet nails is a bad idea anyway). He agreed to let me come back at a later time. The lady owner heard about this and told me that I cannot do this as I'm already getting this deal at a 'special price'. She then said that I did not have an appointment and they accommodated me, etc. I told her that I had in fact tried three attempts to call and got no answer. I also told her that I let the gentleman know that I had to leave at a certain time and he assured me that I would be done. Of course, she didn't know that nor was she apologetic about it. She told me to finish up and to not come back again. I assured her that I will not be coming back and will also let friends and family know about my horrific experience and to not go there. I went home and started looking up the reviews for this place as I have not done so prior to going there. There are a fair number of folks whom also had a bad experiences at this place. Some very similar to mine. Also look at all the same generic responses from the salon owners on their negative reviews.

      As soon as we walked in the manager approached my friend and I and said make sure we leave a tip because her girls work hard. My friend and I awkwardly looked at each other and said ok. I find it very tasteless for us to be told to leave a tip. Depending on the service it should be up to us the customer to decide. LeeLee was my massage therapist and she did an awesome amazing job and she was so sweet. The person who did my mani and pedi was just ok. As my friend and I were leaving we each left a $25 dollar tip to our massage therapists. They were busy at the time so we couldn’t give it to them so we gave it to the tasteless manger to give to them. The manager then said to us, your tip is too small. Next time you come the minimum tip needs to be $30 or more! I then said to her how dare you! I then asked her if she was the one in charge of my bank account. I told how how disrespectful she was and walked out! I already payed $100 something for the actual service. She shouldn’t be telling me how much I should leave in Tip! Avoid this place because of the disrespectful manager! I will never return! If they got rid of the manager the place would be so much better!

      I returned my GroupOn purchase for here. The package is a wonderful offer, BUT it took three calls to actually speak to a person about an appointment. My first two phone calls my number was taken down but NEVER called back. I won't repurchase my package or bring my business here.

      I got a gel manicure & pedicure and it came out great! Unfortunately, the owner is incredibly pushy and her overall customer service is lacking. It’s difficult to even book an appointment once she knows you are a “member” or have already paid in advance for services. Today I presented a Groupon at checkout (already paid voucher) & she was upset that I was not paying full price! She stated that I was only allowed 1 “discount price” when this was my first time using a Groupon at her salon! She’s definitely a sneaky one! Quality nail service but I would not recommend.

      This is a really beautiful salon in a great location. I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage and it was very thorough and enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back. They also offer really great packages which is great for me because I’m an athlete and need deep tissue massages on a regular basis.

      I bought a six-laser hair removal treatment from Groupon. After purchasing it, I called Jenifer Beauty Salon right away to set up my first appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke to Jenifer as well and got an appointment the same week. My first appointment was on 11/02/18. First time I met Jenifer she was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The salon has a calm atmosphere and clean. Jenifer was amazing! After my first appointment the results was unbelievable, extremely less hair on my bikini area. After two treatments on my upper leg area, the hair is unnoticeable. I am very satisfied with the results. I referred Jenifer Salon to my sister and my colleague due to my positive experienced going to Jenifer Beauty Salon.

      Last week I went to Jenifer Beauty Center with my sister. Based on a recommendation from a coworker. We went For the couples pampering package. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We were greeted by a friendly staff which made us feel comfortable from the start. The place is super clean and bright. We both had the gel for our nails. We were impressed with the outcome. Michael and Boda did a very professional job!! Jenifer was so kind to show me how each of the instruments that are sterilized after each use. They also use disposable tools which I really liked. After our nails We did facials . Jenifer seems to know about the different skin types and made some great recommendations. This spa is now our go to . I love it!!!!!

      Worst experience ever. Have now been twice. Bought a Groupon for the first visit. The guy that did my mani/ pedi was nice and did a good job. My enjoyment ended upon leaving. The owner is awful and continually tried to up-sell me a bunch of different packages costing hundreds of dollars that I didnt want or need. She was very pushy and relentless. It literally ruined my visit. Despite this, i tried a second time. It is close to me and would love to have a regular salon to use. I purchased another coupon on Living Social this time. When I went for my appointment she told me I could not use a second coupon. The rules say as much. Well, that's fine but I actually purchased them on 2 different sites. Once she assured me the coupon place would refund my purchase, I said I would still like to get the mani/ pedi and just pay regular price. She basically refused me service! She told me she now had other appointments and could not do my nails. This was 5:00 on a Sunday night. I arrived 10 minutes early and by the time I said I would pay regular price it was a few minutes after 5:00... So what happened to my appointment?? She is a rude and terrible customer service person. It is a shame as the salon offers great services but she will destroy any chance of making it successful.

      Update: Dropped to 1-Star. 4 days after acrylic fills were done 4 of 10 nails popped off and nail beds became infected. Beautiful spot. Cozy, well lit, serene environment. Services are well done- my mani/pedi came out great. However, I can only give 3 stars because they up charge for EVERYTHING. Glitter nail, $5 extra. Hygiene liner in pedicure bath $2 extra. The manager reminded everyone in my party that cash tips were expected, and the most audacious, my technician asked for a larger tip after she counted it in front of me. I won’t return, but my nails did come out nice.

      So far, very good ! Spoke with Jenifer on the phone several times making appointments for my best friend and I for a special day off work treat ! Celebrating both our birthdays with an afternoon of beauty ! We have appointments for Swedish massage , gel manis and pedicures tomorrow and can't wait ! Jenifer was very kind and professional on the phone and will be back to tell you about our experience tomorrow there ! We are so excited to try this new place that is the buzz around town ! Well we had a wonderful experience worth Jenifer and her team. Got our fabulous pedicures where she really took her time getting my feet in good shape ! The massage was heavenly ( both got Swedish ) in the same room , just the two of us and the masseuses. Ended with our neck and scalp being rubbed !! After that we got gel manicure and still looking great a week later . The gentleman ( I forget his name !) Really took his time and got all the little nicks around my nails , finished by a lovely gel French. Great job and I highly recommend Jenifer Beauty .Thank you for making our Birthdays a wonderful experience.

      Absolutely the worse customer service I’ve ever encountered especially from a business located in area that is known as an upper class town. My 62 year old mother in law had google nail salons in her local, which is Watertown & Jenifer Beauty Center caught her eye. She called & set up an appointment for the next day. The receptionist was very unpleasant & insistent that it be the set time she is putting the appointment in for verses taking into consideration that my mother in law mention that though she is setting the appointment for 1pm she may be running late because she will be coming from a doctor’s appointment. When I picked my mother in law up from her drs office to take her to her appointment at Jenifer Beauty, which was around 12:45pm, she said to me she wasn’t feeling well & she wants to reschedule. She only lives 5 minutes from her drs office. We get in the door & she runs to her cell phone to look up Jenifer Beauty’s number to call & reschedule, the house phone rings & it’s Jenifer Beauty calling for the second time. (First missed call was at 1:10pm) The person on the phone immediately scolded my mother in law for not showing up or call to cancel, did not even give my mother in a chance to explain & when my mother in law was able to get a word in she hung up on a 62 year old woman, who has a severe heart condition. I was an ear shot away & could not believe my ears. I was so disgusted I called the salon back & ask to speak to the manager/owner. The staff who answered the phone tried to get the owner on the phone but she told the staff member to take a message & said, “I don’t feel like dealing with anything right now.” The staff member may have forgotten to hit the hold button so I heard their entire conversation. I left my name & number-have yet to get a call back. Mind you, she has no idea what I’m calling for & I definitely was very pleasant when I called. I very rarely read reviews on anything but something in my gut told me to read the reviews on this place prior to taking my mother in law. For the most part, they got decent reviews but for the negative reviews they did get-across the board people were saying the receptionist/owner has poor customer service. I’ve gotten top notch service in areas that are not so prominent and/or what some would call “whole in the walls”. This beauty spa is an absolute disgrace. Based on their reviews, even their quality of work is horrendous. Please believe all of social media as well as friends & family who live in Watertown & surrounding towns will be hearing about this.

      You know that feeling you get when you walk into a store and don't want to ask a question or even make eye contact with the person behind the counter, because there's this air of superiority and they make it seem like you're bothering them? That's how we felt upon entering Jenifer Beauty... not a warm welcome. After reading the mixed reviews on Yelp, we were nervous about how our experience would be. It wasn't off to a great start, because the day of our appointment we got a call saying that they had to reschedule. A week later, we arrived for our couples pampering package, which we purchased on Groupon. Immediately, we were told that we would be getting all of the services separately (massage, facial, and mani-pedi). Honestly, we weren't surprised, because we had read the reviews... but we weren't impressed by this. Of course, purchasing a "couples" package, we expected to get all of the services together, I mean... that's the whole point! It ended up being a lot of waiting. We were put in a room together, but I literally watched as my husband got his entire facial, then he watched mine, and later watched me get my nails done and waited until they dried so that we could leave. Being watched definitely took the relaxation out of the experience. Honestly, the whole thing turned into more of a joke than a romantic spa date. It was hard to relax anyway, since there was a lot of in and out of the room (meaning the door opening and closing in our room). Jenifer even interrupted me mid-facial by entering the room, shining a light on my face and asking what results I wanted, trying to up-sell from the package I had already paid for. It was very unprofessional. The actual workers who attended us (Lily and Bota) were great and super friendly and easy to talk to. They deserve good tips! The facial left our skin soft, and the massage even put my husband to sleep (a good thing). Though the massage felt nice, it was definitely not high quality. She will use your body as support, leaning her weight on you instead of on the table. The table was also too close to the wall on one side, so the massage was not even, and she had to squeeze her body between the table and the wall. Overall, poor Lily seemed overworked and stressed, which again, took the relaxation out of everything. We were really disappointed that we weren't notified ahead of time that the couples package was only for the price deal, not for doing something together as a couple. This center has a lot to improve, like hiring sufficient staff for the services advertised, as well as professionalism and basic hospitality/customer service if they want repeat clients.

      Beautiful, clean salon! Jenifer is great, so nice and professional. I had my eyebrows microbladed and Jenifer took her time to make sure they were absolutely perfect! I am so impressed, I even showed Jenifer a picture of what I would like my eyebrows to look like and she told me I can do better and she really did! Way above the expectations that I had.
