Maria Pekala Massage

Hello! I’m Maria. I practice mixed modality massage (including elements of Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release techniques) in my Waltham studio. I'm a 2013 graduate of The Massage School in Acton, MA where I completed the 800hr program including 200+ clinic hours. I am a certified ACE Massage Cupping practitioner, and a Reiki Level II practitioner. I have also studied and completed workshops on the Anatomy Trains myofascial therapy method as well as the John Barnes myofascial release approach. I combine all of these practices in a “whole body” approach to massage work - where larger patterns of tension and imbalance are explored, in order to provide each client with the most intuitive and effective treatment. I love creating customized treatments which allow the individual to access relaxation, opening, and increased mind/body awareness, in order to begin their own natural healing process.
