I lucked into finding the new Bike Park at Crystal Mountain today. What an amazing find, the Adventure Center staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Tim, the bike host was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about MTB in the area The trails themselves were so much fun, dealers choice in terms of flow or features, mostly on the smaller side but enough elevation and variety to keep me running laps. E-Bike (pedal assist) friendly as long as you power down for indicated sections of trail. The grounds were immaculate and the store was well stocked to keep me fueled and energized during my ride. It was mentioned that lift service would be available in the future, which would be great when sessioning the park and not just doing a long loop. I will be back frequently!

Stop in at the mountain market, ask them to carry Northern Natural hard cider!

Outdated, overpriced!!! Gross carpet, gross fabric chairs, gross skirting, gross filthy hvac. Avoid unless you have no sense of smell, our care about cleanliness. Wish I could get a refund, no bfast included? Sad rip off, never stay here AGAIN!!
Genevieve W.
The grounds are beautiful and the staff are wonderful. So glad we went. There could be a few more included options with your stay on the grounds and breakfast that is affordable could be nice, but other than that it was great.

So be there

We stayed in the suite overlooking the courtyard, we had such a lovely time. The Staff were accommodating, friendly, and genuinely willing to do anything to make your stay as delightful as possible. My two boys loved hanging in the pool, the rock wall, challenge course, laser tag, and archery. We had a short trip but plan to return! The breakfast food at the Wild tomatoe was great, pizza from Betsie pizza so well worth it after a busy day of play! And the mountain market is a nice touch for those little things... I think the shower and balcony were my two most favorite things in my room ? Very family friendly and highly recommend.

We were there only for the alpine slide and we enjoyed it.

Not bad if it’s not busy. Significant improvements. Maybe because of Covid? Service and food was excellent.

Awesome! The alpine slide was a blast and a great side trip on our way home from vacation!

Very cozy. The cinnamon roll French toast is great. Had a ball????!

Was a horrible place. Did the alpine slide and they gave me a broken cart to ride. Took everthing i had to make it down the hill and had to walk the last part. The kids working it only cared about gooffing around thereself. Our lift passes wouldnt even work for any of our party. I only went once and the rest of us didnt even finish the hour it was so bad. Big waste of money

Great staff. Stayed in the condos and were wonderful. Very clean and just about anything you need for the weekend, just bring groceries. Ate at the restaurant and food was excellent.

Amazing service, beautiful setting. My family and I found the ambiance of Crystal Mountain to be unique, relaxing and close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Snowboarding lessons here were great. It was just two of us with the instructor so he was able to give us a good amount of attention. It’s very well organised and convenient. The facilities are good with 3 different difficulty levels for beginners. I’d recommend carrying a bottle of water to keep rehydrating. Sunglasses seem pretty essential.

Nice clean rooms, good service.

I love crystal mountain, but unfortunately their customer service and policies are extremely strict and unforgiving in these uncertain times. We purchased full day lift ticket and drove over an hour to the mountain. Upon arrival we found that nearly all lifts had been shut down due to high winds. We asked for a refund on the tickets and they informed us we could not be refunded, but that we could use them for a future date. Well, little did we know COVID was going to strike and Crystal was required to close down. They did extend the policy to allow us to use them till then end of 2020, but unfortunately my boyfriend and I both caught covid and were ill for over 3 weeks beginning of December which affected our chances of going up, yet again. I called hoping that given the circumstances, that we could possibly redeem them for a spring day since the conditions aren't as desired. Unfortunately the best they could offer was 25% off new tickets. We paid over $200 and have been going to Crystal every year. Sadly, we probably won't be going to crystal anymore given their lack of empathy. Side note, I know all sales are final. I was not trying to go up during peak season, or on a busy weekend day. Covid also affected our experience at another ski resort and they automatically refunded us with virtually no hassle.

Great ski resort
Mallory
Family friendly ski resort with so much to enjoy! Take a ski lesson, the instructors are top notch! Not a downhill skier? There's fat bikes, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. Also just love the spa! It's year round too, fun outdoor activities for kids and adults, ALPINE SLIDE and I hear the golf course is great too.

Great small ski mountain. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but the resort does a great job of keeping the whole family entertained. We will be back.

Just returned home from a visit with the family and Crystal Mountain really out did themselves with the service and friendly attitude. We were all smiles for the 3 days we were there, and that means a lot. Thank you very much everyone!!! Great crew CM!!!

What a horrible experience getting a reservation is here. The worst I have had in 25 years. Phone system transfers you to three separate menus where you choose lodging and then you sorry on hold for a long wait. After finally getting a person, and getting prices I asked to have the info mailed to me... Mail never arrived... Called back thru same list menu system and long wait and requested the info be mailed a second time... Never arrived... Now going thru the same horrible system again, on hold. If my grandson didn't want to go here I would never call them again.
Mel G.
Spent the morning getting a massage from Tammara. She was excellent. One of the best massages I have had. Thanks CM for the amazing over all experience!

What a wonderful and much needed long weekend getaway. The chalet was clean, cozy, gully stocked with basic needs,, had amazing mattresses and pillows in every room. Cookware was great! Skiing was fun. No issues with rentals.

Beautiful and mesmerizing place. Nice for sking.

Crystal Mountain has proven themselves to be the least hospitable and accommodating ski resort in Michigan. They REFUSE to honor ANY medical mask exemptions, even in a completely safe outdoor environment where social distancing already exists. They pulled the "well we're a private business" card on me but they fail to operate by the actual text of the ADA which in short says public and private business MUST provide appropriate accommodations and exemptions to individuals who cannot wear masks in order to provide them with the same service/product. Except for 3 employees (shout out to y'all) who chose to respectfully accommodate me with understanding, all the others held a large chip on their shoulder and targeted me over the period of several days. It was an absolute disgrace. I decided to just cover my face with my thick hoodie in order to get through the line this young lift attendant proceeded to shut down the entire system and ask me to leave. No one else in line was on her side. A handful of people spoke out against her and rightfully so, that's no way to treat humans. A note on the lodging if you stay several days, our lodge was FULL of pet hair, which got in everything I had with me. If you're allergic to any pet dander, steer clear. There's not much soundproofing in the lodges either. I went to Crystal expecting the best, but was delivered the worst. In terms of actual skiing quality, Bittersweet Ski Resort puts Crystal Mountain to shame when it comes to anything terrain park and jumps related. If you're looking for quality builds that are built PROPERLY, do NOT go to Crystal. For example, box rails were canted, take offs were WAY too small, rails were wobbly, and jump landings were basically non existent - messed up my ankle and knee pretty badly on an overshoot which should have never happened. Get some professional builders in there please Crystal Mountain!!! If you don't value freedom, money, hospitality, comfort, and safety, go straight away to Crystal Mountain. I, and certainly hundreds of others, will never spend money here again.
Chris S.
I would not recommend going to Crystal mountain. For the price you pay, they don't deliver. They were mask Nazis and even got in the faces of my friends 3 yr old and 8 yr old. The skiing wasn't that great either and the terrain Park was poorly done. I also felt very limited because I got yelled at for going off groomed trails, or going in the terrain Park but not going on any of the features. I was definitely underwhelmed by the skiing part and the people there were controlling, domineering, and mask nazis.
Pamela G.
I've never been before. It looks like a lot of fun,I stayed in the car and watched for a few minutes. I an disabled so I can only watch, everyone looked like they were having fun.
Matthew F.
They did an excellent job ensuring guests were following mask protocol. The social distancing protocols led to some longer lines at the lifts but employees did an excellent job keeping the line moving. All runs were open and groomed well. Overall really great experience.
Delamie F.
Amazing mountain, and typically great snow/weather but the crowds and wait isn’t worth the money..
Ty
Ill start this off by saying DO NOT BUY THE FOOD. I say this because the prices are astronomical beyond belief. Anyways. The selection of slopes is great. Many to choose from. Sadly I went a day after a warm day so the snow was more icy than snowy. Would recommend and will be going back next season.
Ziggy J.
Super fun in the winter time. Haven't been in the summer time. Kids love going skiing. They even teach you how to ski if you don't know. Had a great teacher help out my family and now we try to go once a week. I'm going to miss it when the snow melts. They have a nice system set up to try to keep the line down but sometimes they get busy. They even have a food truck and drinks. Can't beat it.
Slavik Lucas M.
Great resort. But the mask enforcement has gone too far. It need to stop. People are out side, keeping distance, let people police themselves. Tired of all this mask nonsense especially when it’s outside.
Balpreet K.
Crystal Mountain is very family-friendly and great for beginning skiers. The slopes are short but fun. The caliber of instructors in group settings and private lessons is very high! I felt very prepared though it was my first time skiing.
Kevin C.
Great place to see great views. The ride up is awesome. Restaurant is a great place to eat
Chad S.
Pretty good mountain but I don't enjoy watching staff yell at 5 year old children to wear masks all day.

Really beautiful. I strongly recommend to take godonla to the summit in a sunny day. Northway trail is my favorite ski route
Amber S.
I wish there was a valet parking service. The food from The Clipper was basic grab and go food, no indoor seating but there was tables and some heat lamps scattered around. Nice place to ski and hang out.

Fun slopes , plenty of runs varying in difficulty.

ZERO STARS. DO NOT GO, IT IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. They sent email asking for feedback. Here is what I told them: Although the snow/powder was the absolute best I've ever seen, this was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had skiing/snowboarding and I have been doing it for 20+ years. To be frank, you let way way way too many people on that mountain and it ruined it for everyone. When there are that many people, you cant even pick up speed or go down the mountain with any certainty you arent going to turn and collide with someone in you blind spot. Plus you have to stand in lift lines for 30 min at a time. Not to mention it is a safety hazard (because of covid and because people are bound to collide). For the record, I was there for 3 hours, only got one run in because of how long the lines were and on that one run I saw 2 pairs of people collide at high speeds because the mountain was too crowded. In all my life I have never seen anyone collide on the mountain so 2 times in 1 run is striking to me. I will no longer go to crystal and I will deter others from doing it. It makes me sad that you have control of one of the greatest natural resources in this area - the mountains in the winter are part of what makes living here so cool and it is a significant way people can recreate and interact with their environment in winter - BUT you are ruining it for everyone to sell more tickets. It is like stealing to charge people $130-150+ per day for the experience I just had. I'd recommend you never oversell the mountain like that again. I think it would be better for you to sell partial day tickets and have half as many people on the mountain at a time - i.e. some tickets 9-12, some tickets 12-3, some 3-close. But you have to cap the number of tickets you sell so lines are reasonable and people can recreate safely and enjoy themselves. I never again want to receive a text from Crystal Mountain at 1pm telling all the people sitting in a huge back up to get the the mountain (at 1pm!!!) that they wont be able to even find a parking spot until at least 2pm (an hour or two before night skiing starts). I'm sure some of these people paid for a full day and you basically told them they were going to spend more time waiting for a parking spot in their car than skiing and you told them that all they were going to get to do night skiing (where you only have 3 (lame) runs open). Please be better.

Something for everyone here. Stay at the Silver Skis and soak up the flakes from their hot pool.
Josh K.
Very cozy and clean place to stay with exceptional staff. The slopes are always fun and the newer lift ticket scanning system works great. We hope to visit again next year.
Caleb C.
Felt expensive and the black diamonds are more blue squares. Good grooming and fairly quick lines at the lift. Need more terrain features and side hits for those of us that aren't beginners anymore.
Joshua B.
Crystal mountain, though on the more pricey side of Michigan resorts, is one of our family's favorites. Comfortable lodging, great food options and excellent skiing!

Phenomenal experience. Friendly staff and great trails!

EXTREMELY disappointed. This is our first day here. We booked a room at the Inn at the Mountain. And for all the money we spent, we have had to complain about the lack of proper cleaning in our room upon check-in. There were food crumbs all over the floor when we checked in. Tables were not clean. Balcony was not clean. We did complain and have housekeeping come up to vacuum but we ended up wiping everything else down with our own Clorox wipes. You would think with COVID Being a concern, they’d step up their cleaning. But ABSOLUTELY not. Now... we’re sitting here while they fix our bathroom door that doesn’t close. ??????????? $700 for THIS??? Unacceptable. We were here to celebrate my daughters birthday. Alpine slide was okay- the kids really enjoyed it. Mediocre food options. People are really nice and hotel staff was very responsive.

What a great place to ski. Really has grown over the years.
Anthony “Turnaround” K.
as a child i ski’d there almost every day or night ( my mother bartended there ) and the perks were the best. moving to key largo after seasons of 5 dollar lift tickets and getting the k2 downhill ski’s it was a major change for sure but it wasn’t any argument. through the year’s there was talk of visits and returning but just didn’t happen this was my place of flight extreme speeds down the bowl and back trail adventure all the employees instructors i mean everybody were helpful caring and informative about everything i saw major bands also nazerith peter pramton others yeah it was late 70 i guess this is one of my timelines thanks for making my childhood greater than great if anybody knows my old coach from coca cola downhill team tell him i was just skiing he’ll understand thanks so much god bless and everybody enjoy it as i did full speed
The Pur-Fect L.
While the mountain is wonderful, the experience is not. Parking is always a problem, as in, they run out of parking. There aren’t enough shuttles to get you and your family to the lifts. Lines are frequently between 30-60 minutes just to get on a shuttle. And then there’s the lift lines. If you like pushing and shoving from other frustrated skiers and boarders, you’ll enjoy your time here. This resort appears to always be short staffed, from the parking attendants, shuttle drivers, ski patrol (yeah, you’ll love it when your little kid gets wiped out by out of control skiers and borders in a slow zone in the beginner area), and to the restaurant staff (when it’s open they are always out of food). The best part of this resort is what God gave it. The terrain and altitude. The rest is just disappointing.

I was taking the discovery chair lift up with my kids and the lift operator at the bottom she was very angry today.

Fun skiing and resort life!

Doing their best under Covid restrictions.

We had a wonderful stay this weekend on property for our first time visiting Crystal and were very impressed with the amenities, activities, and quality of service. We had a misunderstanding that left us with lift tickets purchased in advance but no ski equipment rentals so make sure your reservation is all set in advance. Steve from the gear shop took great care of us helping us out in a bind with the equipment demo program which also allowed us to try out some skis similar to a rental as we are looking to purchase in the future anyway. Steve was very helpful so we just wanted to have him recognized for his service. 5 stars for Steve and we will be coming back because we had such a great weekend overall!
Nevette M.
Great Midwestern ski resort. Nice hills and many of them for all levels. If you get bored here, you're not using your imagination to hone your skills.
Paul B.
Ok thank you
Carney F.
The slopes were well groomed, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the COVID protocols were well established and we felt safe. Thank you Crystal for a fun couple days skiing and flat tire snow biking! We look forward to our return!
Brett G.
Thursday was great!!! Skied all day with no long lines... Friday on the other hand was super busy in the morning but thinned out later in the day. All and all a fun couple of days.
Blue B.
Bought Bohemia season pass that also works for Crystal for 2 free passes. Apparently they get to choose when and when not you can use them. Wish that was stated when I purchased this pass.

I’m pretty new on the snowboard and this place provided numerous opportunities to really focus on improving. The trails are long enough to carve and there is a little something for everyone. The inn at the mountain provided us an amazing room with heated bathroom floors and a heated towel rack. The store at the in makes sure you never have to leave the resort during your stay with a hefty selection of adult beverages and snacks. They are also very military friendly. Worth the drive from almost Kentucky!
Robert L.
Great skiing they are doing it right for covid. Loving the time here.
Matthew K.
It is one of the best ski resorts in michigan!
Micah P.
Super fun and family friendly!
Eddie W.
Pretty great place. Awesome for families but something for everyone. Great memories. During covid they (at least when I went) way oversold the mountain so lift lines were long and not socially distanced. Only reason for leaving a star out. Lift lines!
Katie H.
Such a nice place to ski!
Tony P.
I left Louisiana where it was nice and hot and ventured out to Michigan! Stopped at Crystal Mountain for a ski visit. The people here are very informative and knowledgeable. The snow kept falling and falling! This place is awesome! I ventured off to make sure that I did all of the easy slopes first and then graduated to more difficult slopes after that. Had the best time ever!
Jake S.
It's great when you're not waiting in lines! The gondola is the best way to get up. Nice and relatively warm. I wish it was higher elevation so the snow was more consistent though... Nothing against Crystal. They can't change where they are
Maggie D.
Besides the rental area only have 2 employees working, beautiful resort, clean and welcoming!
Joshua H.
The guy helping snowboard rentals was very helpful. The slopes were great. I'd go back.
Will L.
Great skiing, awesome resort!
Amber Van D.
Winter goes by so much faster when you have places to go and activities to do! I loved our stay. The best part was snowboarding and then having a little community to come back to for food, shopping, relaxation and even more outdoor activities. Evening walks with our dogs were so dreamy with all of the twinkling lights and occasional fire pit stops to warm up. Got the winter blues? Crystal mountain has the cure. There is something to do for everyone!
Kenneth M.
Had a great ski break. The resort is beautiful, just too bad the pandemic has everything closed off so much. Looking forward to returning in a non-quarantine setting.
Jennifer L.
Today we had a very touching moment with a staff member who above and beyond to help out my son with his bindings. Kudos to your staff in the tune up shop. Top notch experience on the slopes and the grounds.

AMAZING
Ramy S.
A must visit ski resort in Washington state. Great slopes, great views and great crowd. You might catch a glimpse of Mt Rainier if you’re lucky.
Todd P.
I'm sure there are some nice employees here...somewhere. The annoying ones are the only ones you noticed. ????
Jill A.
Great school ski program with lessons
Don W.
Only 20% open, so long queues and few slopes. Some staff were rude and poorly trained. We were quizzed like naughty children for going inside, when we had a reserved room. Lots of mask nazzis making sure our faces didn't show. Found it unfriendly. Food was low standard and expensive. Did not enjoy, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to skiing.
Timothy S.
Good beginner ski hill. With some more challenging runs for the intermediate.
Kshitiz G.
Absolutely amazing experience. As first time skiiers this place didn't disappoint. We started at Mountainside cottages with a full kitchen and all the facilities. The staff was courteous and quick to help. The skiing itself was an uplifting experience. All the slopes and lift are well maintained and all safety measures are implemented. There are all levels of slopes and they are well marked with instructors on the beginner ones. I recommend this place highly especially for first timers and families.
Jesse L.
Good times at crystal mt. great resort great terrain and great staff making everything operate smooth
J R.
Ski in/out room, perfect corduroy, and tons of runs full of snow!
Robert G.
Nice atmosphere, great grooming, nice people.
Brennen
Here's our lovely picture of our cheap Miller lite and my partners spikes chocolate milk. We had a fantastic time on the mountain and it was nice to be able to get drinks and sit out by the fire. They also had a food truck which was a plus.
Dillon C.
Beautiful ski resort, the only reason I give it a 3 is because their ski patrol does not seem to care for their job. Thought I had a concussion and was looking for attention and was told “concussions are internal” and “you probably just got your bell rung” when looking for help. Overall good resort however
Susan A.
Well run considering the covid restrictions. Well maintained slopes. Safe fun activities
Leon W.
Me and Aydens first snowboarding communion. It was very reasonable. I'm so happy.
Alissa M.
Staff was very friendly, place was clean, good food at Thistle. Unfortunately with Covid, there were some unusual restrictions like no room cleaning service, but overall very nice place. Will definitely come back!
Gauge85
Love this place! It’s in my top 5
M A.
Make reservations. Outside tables available or tailgate.
Derek M.
A bit pricey. Compared to other Michigan resorts, but a wonderful resort area. Crowds can be bad on the front three lifts.
G-Money 123445
Very poor experience overall. When starting the day, I was instructed at the main lift that masks had to be worn over the nose when in line ONLY, which makes sense as people are within 6 feet of each other; however, when I got to a lift on the backside of the “mountain” (a hill, not mountain), I got my TWO DAY pass confiscated on the first night of the two day pass as I mask wasn’t wearing my mask above my nose ON THE LIFT, which I was previously told was ok by the employees that managed the main lift. This employee seemed completely disgruntled and proceeded to confiscate 4 more people’s passes behind me for similar reasons. He instructed us to wait at the top of the hill, that’s it, he said nothing else. He resumed the lift where we then waited for 45 minutes for ski patrol to show up and tell us that there was nothing they could do and that we could get our pass back the next day—keep in mind these events transpired at 7:30 P.M. or so, so there was plenty of skiing left in the night. The next day, I did as the ski patrol told me to do: I went to the ski patrol office where I then had a meeting with the ski patrol director, not only did he not know who I was (meaning employees don’t inform who they take passes from etc), but he gave me a lecture about the rules of which were different than the employee who took my pass enforced! He reiterated what the employee at the main lift said (masks had to be worn in line, not on lift or when skiing). He then proceeded to give me a pass that DID NOT WORK AT THE LIFTS. The scanner deemed it invalid as the ski patrol director gave me a pass with the wrong time meaning I wasn’t in the feasible range. The employees told me I had to go back to ski patrol and get a new pass, but I proceeded to leave, as I could not stand this terrible customer service. Overall, it was a waste of $80, and their employee management is terrible!
Lexi L.
First time skiing. Slopes were fun and challenging. Had a difficult time finding where to go and to process the flow of everything. Wish there were more guides or information spots. For a beginner going to the mountain go with someone who knows where to go, how to ski and the protocol for getting on and off the lifts????You’ll have a blast!
Gene G.
Nice place.
Anyka S.
Today was so fun!!! My brother and I booked lessons for first time snowboarding. Awesome package comes with 2 hour lesson rentals and the lift ticket! Our instructor Michelle was so dope!! She did an amazing job and made it fun!! She made the whole experience so great definitely want to come back! If you get her as an instructor you won't be let down !!!
Lee K.
It was a great treat to hit the slopes for these Wiscinsinites. Very clean, great condition, easy pay online option, easy rental. Very reasonable on cost. Highly recommended.
Logan C H.
It’s a great big hill for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. A great hill for a young one to learn how to ski or board.
David M.
Great staff friendly had a great experience
Brad M.
Staff was very friendly and snow was great. We had a great day skiing, will be coming back
Cherie C.
The most I've been relaxed for a long time, everyone was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We didn't want to leave.
Scott D.
Lots of runs good variety lifts are well placed. Super easy to pick up lift ticket and they use a rfid card for the lift pass you just keep it in a poclet by itself. Lifts are speedy but easy to disembark. I had a lot of fun. The machine made snow was pretty good. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was extra fun exploring the different sections and then finding trails bacl to different lifts.
Shaun C.
A little pricey but so much fun and worth it!
Kevin B.
Drove three hours only to tell us they "sold out of tickets". Like yeah, okay. Your parking lot was less than half full. Waste of time. Caberfae Peaks had more people there and they still sold us tickets.
Jennifer D.
Love this place! Best Midwest ski resort yet!!!!
Chelsea F.
Fat tire bike rental is a great time!
Walter H.
Great for the beginner. Enough for the experienced. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Loved it
Logan R.
Great
Jacob M.
Clean and beautiful resort with friendly and helpful staff.
Jay R.
Top tier ski resort, great snow great runs and very little feral children. 10/10 will snowboard often
Patrick G.
Drove almost 6 hours to ski at Crystal Mountain over New Years and we were very disappointed. Long lift lines apparently due to over sold amount of lift tickets for the percentage of open areas and skiers and boarders unable to successfully navigate entering and exiting the lifts. ie, LOTS of noobs. The indifference and poor attitudes of the staff working the lifts, restaurant, shops, and pro shop really solidified my decision to never visit again. Did not stay on property.
Kurt N.
Always worth the drive!
Sameer S.
This was a very disappointing experience only 22% of the slope was open and only 2 chairs lifts running. This was the most disappointing ski trip I have ever had. I made the booking 2 days before going and the crystal mountain booking person did not advise of the really bad situation about only a couple of runs being open and only 2 chair lifts running. Before the booking my wife even ask if the hot tub was open and the person said yes. They lied only the pool was open, false marketing for sure. I drove 4.5 hours to get to this place and I will never go back. They don't care and did not compensate me for my accommodation it was a waste of $1000 and 3 days of my vacation time. We even reached out to the Director of operations Anne and Mike Cutler her response was we should have gone to there website and not relied on the crystal mountain booking person. Also the 2 chair lifts got so busy from 12 to 6 pm we stopped skiing because we had to wait in line for 35-40 minutes to get on the chair lift. So you will be risking ur life by potentially catching COVID19 because there are too many people waiting in line. Again when brought this to managements attention they did not care. Health and safety should shut down this facility since they are not open to listening to concerns brought to there attention. My recommendation is don't go they are doing false advertising and don't care about there customers. And I have been skiing at this place for 15 years they even took the time to agrue about that. Basically this is poor management i will never set foot on this place ever again.

This place looks like it would be a lot of fun if all of the trails were open and there wasn't a pandemic going on. Unfortunately, only 7 of the 58 runs were open (early season) and we had to wear a mask the entire time. The layout of the village is pretty nice with some likely very cool walk out homes for rent right at the bottom of the slope. I will more than likely be checking this place out some other time later in the season.
Jarek J.
Service was really terrible. Employees seemed to have an attitude over face masks and whatnot. There were no singles allowed on the gondola, despite the fact there were no signs saying that was the case. Thankfully, once I got through the long line, they told me that although it was okay this time, in the future they would have to send me over to the Chinook chairlift. You really should have signs at the beginning of the line saying this. And were you guys really not able to give me a lift ticket at the shuttle terminal because I had an unused ticket? Seems like laziness to me. Be advised that although there are greens and blues at this resort, most of them are comparable to blacks and double blacks at some other resorts (including Stevens). In addition, most of this resort is black and double black. This isn't a bad thing, but if you are a beginner or do not ski/snowboard a lot, I would not recommend this place. If you are looking to night ski, go somewhere else. The night skiing here is an absolute joke. Only three lifts are running, but only two of them actually go to runs. The third one is for the bunny hill. You absolutely do have to take this lift unless you want to hike to the other two. Because these lifts are slow, and because people apparently are not familiar with loading onto these lifts, expect a long ride. About 20-25 minutes to get up to the top for a 2-3 minute ride down. The food is expensive here, and unlike other resorts out there, the quality is really poor. The nachos that I had were like carnival nachos. I'd expect something better than that for $18. Also keep in mind that because of COVID rules, only outdoor seating is permitted. So expect your fingers to freeze whilst eating. While I am not faulting them for this decision (point the finger at the governor for this one), was it too much to ask for to have heaters and some more covered seating? I know this was a temporary thing, but it surely does not show any signs of stopping anytime soon. One of the restaurants has a firepit outside, but they were very strict about people getting up there. So don't rely on it. The absolute worst thing that happened was the shuttles. For anyone new to this resort, you cannot park at the parking lot adjacent to the resort unless you have an ICON pass. The shuttles run to and from the parking lots to the resort... except they think that it was a super good idea to stop shuttle service during the night skiing, when there was still a fair amount of people present. I had to walk to my car in my ski boots for about a half-mile away. I didn't have my shoes because I didn't expect that to happen, like at other resorts. The farthest of these lots, F lot, is 1.2 miles away according to Google Maps. And when I drove by there, I felt really bad for the people who were still parked there. Who in the hell would think suspending shuttle service during hours was a good idea?! And there was NOBODY available to answer the phone when I was calling to inquire about it. I drove four hours from Portland to come check this resort out, after not getting a chance to see it back in March when I got my ticket. If I did check this out in March when I planned it, I would have been looking at a 3-hour drive from the Yakima area. I do not think I will be returning.

My favorite ski resort in this part of Michigan! Very nice updated facilities, lots of backcountry runs. Family friendly and pet friendly.
Tom L.
The people are friendly and helpful, the slopes and lifts and rental gear are very well maintained, and the ski-in / ski-out cabins are beautiful. The ski runs are a bit short, but hey this isn't the Rockies.
Chris K.
Very modern and clean accommodation. Slopes are very close, staff are friendly.
Kunal M.
Best family place. Very friendly staff, and many activities in winter. We didn't ski but will come back for sure for it. Shuttle service was great and fast. You don't need to go out for anything. The village is beautiful during holidays. They have tesla destination chargers and other EV chargers.
Enrique De La T.
Wonderful place

Spent the Christmas holiday here. Very happy. Great runs. Good time, even during covid!

Today is day 16 on the Mountain this season. Each day I have been impressed by the staff's diligence in enforcing masks. I have felt safe each day. Thanks to the Mountain for providing a safe opportunity to access this great resource during these difficult times.

Really fun resort
Matt F.
Only had two lifts open and icier conditions but overall a good time. Rentals were very accommodating and did a good job with the social distancing
Henrike
We had a reservation for today, but we got stuck in traffic on our way up and all parking lots are almost full. It is so crowded and Lift lines are so long that we decided not to go skiing. It doesn’t feel save at all!
James P.
Great mountain. Can’t wait to come back on a powder day!

Fantastic for a great family getaway!!

"This used to be my favorite resort in Washington, a lot has changed....." - Random Skier in lift line. Crystal Mt. is a shell of its former self. I grew up skiing Crystal, my family and I always enjoyed feeling like Crystal was a family resort and the staff working there seemed like they loved their jobs and providing a fantastic skiing experience for our family. After spending 7 years living in Bellingham and skiing Baker, I have moved south and once again Crystal is now my nearest mountain. Unfortunately it seems that what once was a proud establishment has succumbed to corporate greed. The last two seasons skiing at Crystal have been excruciatingly frustrating. The Ikon pass system that Crystal is now a part of seems to have the goal of boxing out local families that want to enjoy a day in the mountains every now and then. Current day Crystal Mountain is a place where daily ticket prices are ridiculously expensive, you can't get a parking spot most weekends, and the staff that work there seem to hate their jobs. Multiple times over the last two seasons I have been treated rudely by staff regarding ticketing issues, questions about the overpriced garbage food they serve and lift operators who seem to hate their lives. It seems that the goal of this once-beloved ski resort is not to provide skiers with the ability to enjoy their favorite mountain sport, but instead to suck as much money out of its patrons as possible. We should be trying to spread the joys of skiing to as many people as possible, not reserving it for the affluent. If there were another mountain as close as Crystal I would be overjoyed to never have to drive up Crystal Mt. Blvd. again.
Julie W.
Great property Staff could use some pep and personality.
Catherine H.
Fabulous weekend! Love the Art Park! Condo was perfect for our group!
Alessandra S.
Beautiful and very relaxing
Aaron S.
Growing up in Colorado this place for snow sports is a joke. Ski or snowboard it does not matter. You start off at the bottom take a less than enjoyable ride to the top, take off and before you know it your right back at the bottom within minutes and you either have to stop ASAP orrrrr your in the buildings. It’s to cramped up there. Not to mention for the little they offer the prices they charge people. I don’t recommend for that. Not to mention summer time is ok. But don’t expect a decent pool. The indoor pool is mostly for laps and the outdoor one is pretty much a kid pool and lap pool together. For what you pay you would think they would have more. I don’t recommend at all.
Dj T.
Beautiful anytime of the year.
Sherry G.
Beautiful fall hike
Carol S.
The condo was very lovely and comfortable.
Tina J.
Great Fall break vacation. First ti.e being at the resort.. Loved riding the chairlift up and being able to hike down the mountain, husband started thinking about which trails to ski. We are planning our trip to the resort with our kids to ski and experience winter activities.
Derrek C.
Great place for family fun! Very fancy and welcoming!
Randy S.
Sooooo beautiful
Paul W.
Excellent and beautiful facility for meetings anytime of year. The views are fantastic and the staff is always polite and helpful.
Frank G.
This is real up north resort with both golf & skiing for all seasons. Staff has always been helpful for golf.Do not ski so cannot comment on that, but golf amenities, course & pro shop are top rated.
Kevin K.
Great staff, great fall views and good northern Michigan skiing!
Fred Wallin I.
Enjoyed the fall wagon color tour and rode the ski lift to the top. Highly recommend. Very romantic with my girlfriend.
Cynthia G.
All the openess of the whole area.
J W.
The family stayed at the mountain top three bedroom, it was great, the unit we stayed in bottom floor had 2 bed rooms and bathroom and washer/dryer 2nd floor had kitchen, dinning, bathroom and family room with fire place also a deck and walk out patio, top floor had master bed room with Jacuzzis tub and bathroom. Views were amazing with the fall colors at peak and its a short hike up the mountain to get the most of the Views I could have walked around taking all the colors in all day.
Kimberly N.
The chairlift ride to see the Autumn colors was awesome. However, the line to purchase a wristband for the ride was longer than it needed to be. There was little communication between the staff and poorly organized, which was the cause of long wait times.
Steve M.
Big resort
David Stanton I.
Over priced and they played music till 11:30 at night. No free breakfast for the amount of money you pay for a room.
Sandy E.
A very cool place to visit. Hiking, chairlift and Alpine Slide were a lot of fun.
Robin D.
The website said attraction tickets would be available until 6:00 pm. We called on our way up and were assured we would be able to ride the lift. My family of six drove over 5 and a half hours one way and we arrived at 3:00 pm. 8 minutes later we were very rudely kicked out of line when an attendant counting people estimated the people in front of us would be the last to ride by 6:00. We returned at 5:25 and the line was gone but the ticket booth was closed.... waaay before 6:00. I have been visiting Crystal Mountain since I was a child but after the way we and many other families were treated, we will take our business elsewhere.
Bill S.
WE WENT ON SATURDAY 10/10 TO RIDE THE LIFT TO THE TOP TO VIEW THECOLORS OF THE LANDSCAPE. UNTIL ARRIVING WE FOUND AN EXTREMELY LONG LINE. AFTER STANDING IN LINE FOR OVER 2 HOURS I WENT OVER TO THE OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY HAD A SHUTTLE TO THE TOP. THE LADY SAID I HAD TO RIDE THE LIGT TO RIDE THE TOBAGGON BACK DOWN. I TRIED TO TELL HER THAT I'M 74 AND 4 MONTHS AGO HAD A TRIPLE BY-PASS. SHE THEN BLEW ME OFF SAYING THAT IT WAS AGAINST ALPHINE RULES. I WALKED AWAY BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY SOMETHING THAT THE LADY PROBABLY WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND. I THEN WENT BACK AND GOT IN LINE WITH MY FAMILY. HALF AN HOUR LATER A YOUNG LADY TOLD ME TO GO TO THE RED DOOR TO FILL OUT A WAIVER. AFTER FILLING OUT THE WAIVER WE WERE TOLD TO GO GET IN THE SHORT LINE (VIEW COLORS ONLY) NO ONE WAS IN SHORT LINE. THE PERSON IN CHARGE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!! QUESTIONS FOR MANAGEMENT HOW HARD WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TO SAY LINE 1 VIEW COLORS LINE 2 RIDE UP TAKE TOBAGGON DOWN. WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE PAPER WAIVERS OUTSIDE TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS? WHEN WE CAME BACK DOWN THE PEOPLE BEHIND US WERE STILL IN THE LINE WAITING TO SIGN THE WAIVERS. SEEMS TO ME THAT THOSE PEOPLE PAYING ONLY $5 FOR A RIDE ARE NOT PEOPLE TO WORRY ABOUT . THEY ONLY WANT THOSE WHO PAY BIG BUCKS FOR A WEDDING OR ROOM TO BE HAPPY' TO THE MANAGEMENT: PLEASE BE SURE THAT I WILL NOT BE BACK AND THAT I WILL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE ENTIRE STATE OF WISCONSIN. BUT YOU PROBABLY DON'T CARE. BILL FROM WISCONSIN
Faith
Great resort for family ski vacay. Staff is quick and efficient, got us all outfitted in 20 minutes! They offer lessons for beginners with patient, experienced instructors
Jan I.
Whoo hoo! We went up in the chairlift, down with the slide. It was worth the wait!
Ron W.
Rode the chairlift up the hill to view the fall colors.
Manu G.
The place is awesome, n the wireride is cool.
A Google U.
Great amenities, facilities, service and atmosphere! Had an awesome time, will definitely return soon!
Yasser J.
Great place for golf, fall views, for better views top mountain houses are great. If you want to be close to golf carts and chair lifts stay either at the inn or Kinlochen. There is also a restaurant in Kinlochen and a grocery store.
Lee Y.
Didn't stay here but visited and they're were no signs to help you navigate through the area, restrooms were closed and no one was anywhere around to help. I'm sure it's much better during ski season
Jessie R.
Great anniversary trip
Brice J.
Lots to do summer or winter. We went hiking on the mountain and it looks promising.

Fun golf courses and real nice family resort.
Audrey F.
Great ski place! I love how there is lodges with good food and plenty of rides for all different levels of skiers and snowboarders!
Dayle V.
Service, great golf courses, quality clothing in shops. We don't eat there often but it's always great when we do. Dining is a bit pricey but good. Always is sanitized too.
David R.
We were seriously disappointed with last season at Crystal Mountain Resort. Last year was our family's first year at Crystal. We purchased seasons passes, becuase we had heard nothing but good things from family and friends about the mountain. But, with 2 plus hours in traffic everytime we went up, and poor mountain communication about parking and capacity. And, although we were happy that Crystal tried to re-open for late season skiing, the poorly managed "reservation system" that sold out of tickets in literally a fee seconds made a last trip impossible for us. So, we will not repurchase seasons passes for the foreseeable future. In our opinion, it's to bad that operators/owners of the area could not get it together, as the run lengths, and conditions were much better then other local areas.
Brian W.
Fantastic place to play disc golf; with the changes in elevation coupled with the fact it's FREE! Unless you want to ride the chairlift to the top/ starting point. Very clean with stunning views and challenging lies. Thank you Crystal Mountain! See you in the winter!
Marie T.
Very beautiful and lovely accommodation.
Thomas K.
Excellent golf course and accommodations.
Jeff B.
Interesting disc golf with some nice views
Steven
Love this place. We keep going back.

Great place for a family vacation.
Jennifer M.
Took the gondola up and hiked down with kids. Great views of ant. Rainier. Highly recommend!
Hugh S.
A hidden gem. Well kept property. Family time oriented. Summer and winter.
Jay F.
Rating is only for alpine sledding as of Labor day weekend 2020...only one track running and COVID has the process running slow. Only 20 riders allowed at the top at one time. Lift stops to regulate riders, closes from 130 to 3pm for cleaning and then closes for the day at 5pm....takes about 45 minutes for one ride with all the wait time...bring your patience and lower your expectations
Debra F.
Wonderful facilities, beautiful room, fun family pool and great golf courses!
Ms. P.
Fun fun fun
Vanessa W.
Loved the stay and everyone was very welcome! We might come back this winter for the whole experience!????
Laura W.
Crystal mountain is run like a well-oiled machine. I have never met a staff member that isn't willing to help and super friendly. The fitness center, the newly refurbished rooms, golf course, dining, spa, ski makes this a well rounded lovely place to spend time.
Nathan S.
Awesome views. Well worth the drive
Chris F.
Absolutely one of the best places to play! Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, great course conditions, you will definitely make putts on these greens! Would highly recommend
Michael G.
Don't ever go for the Alpine Slide or any other of there activities...completely unorganized and excessively long wait times.
A G.
great place to relax
Beatriz A.
The best view Cristal mountain
David S.
Great trip! I highly recommend! They were pretty careful about Corona virus, so that was a plus
Tim
Fabulous place!!!
Doug S.
Crystal is supposed to be more high class. We went for the Alpine slide. The crew was glacially slow. There was maybe 15 people ahead of us and we were there 90 min before we went down.
Hollis Locke I.
Quick stop today just for the alpine slide. Great deal, buy one get one. The whole family had fun. Only one slide was functional and it looks like the other one has been down for a while. That was a bit annoying as everything was twice as long as it had to be, but the slide is a lot of fun! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll be back.
Phil C.
The golf courses were in great condition and the tee times were very close to the scheduled times each day. The drink cart service was beyond expectations in terms of frequency. The pre-round payment process was slow but we were never early either. The pro shop indicated there were so many discounts to enter, that it slowed the process. Breakfast was pretty good, but most of the group enjoyed the sandwiches from the grille. Overall the food / dining experience was a bit hindered by Covid and/or most felt the price / value was unfavorable at Thistle and Tomatoes.
Scott R.
Shot 18 on the Mountain Ridge course. Had a great time. Lost many balls.
Ricky M.
Alpine sleds are sure fun
Jerry Grove I.
Wish it was a lil faster

So to be cleared, we have been to motels, hotels and resorts. To pay about $300 per night, there are some things that you expect. I feel like you get cheated on this. I gave one star for the check in. Two for the atmosphere, the fountains, gardens are giod. The rest I expect to on the room, the food and activities. The alpine coaster took almost two hour line. No shade to wait on and just for a 30 second ride. The water park is more like a splash zone with the obstacle course, zip line and climbing wall closed. The close at 6pm too and so after this there is nothing else to do for the kids. So far definitely not impressed. Look at room we got. I have stay at motels that are better kept. The freezer in the fridge doesn't work. The screen in the room is damage, there is hair in the bathroom fan. We have a cd player in the room, and the tvs are probably first generation and no hd tv, all the channels are non hd. The coffe machine is a single shot and for some of us that like our coffee and take two cups, you finish the complementary coffee in one morning. Maybe they dont think people spend time in the rooms but we do. Still yet to try the food but my expectations are very low. Definitely not worth the price tag. This is just our first day, going to make the best of it but not looking forward to coming back. I wish I could post pictures. Contacted the resort thought email and not a single response. Shows you how much they care.
Paul S.
Clean, great place with water park, golf and alpine slide
Steven G.
Had a blast
Certified R.
But all of the other trouble has made this expensive trip not even worth it. NEVER AGAIN.
Jack S.
They need to do a better job Cleaing the house we rented out it was clean for the most part but there were stains in the carpet and the bathroom was dirty also the kitchen and they need to be Cleaing especially during covid-19 also some of the staff at the pool don’t wear masks when there around people for hours at a time the lines are always long at the alpine slide and the ski lift rides in the summer time it was a 2 hour wait at the top of the mountain to go down that alpine slide also when they do laser tag no one is social distancing and even on the resort they need to have stricter rules during covid-19 the shuttle drivers all are nice at the mountain market they need to restock stuff sooner but the staff is nice in there at the ice cream shack the person working there was mean to us they need to do better.
Keith K.
Pretty nice resort
Rad W.
Cool.

1 out of 2 ALPINE SLIDE BROKEN LONG WAIT TIME. 2-2.5 hours If you are at the end of wooden fence. . No refunds. DO. NOT. COME. Horrible.
Sarah G.
Great place to take the family for a little bit of outside fun. The alpine slide was great
Julie D.
Great golf

Staff was great. Wait for the ride was a bit long 1+ hour. Ride was a blast! We went for the alpine ride. Would ride again!
Sheena W.
Beautiful resort and so much to do! We enjoyed the spa services, gym, pool, and alpine slide! We most definitely will be back!

It's no where near Seattle, quit telling people it's outside of Seattle. It is however just a few miles from tacoma.
Grant Q.
Good golf
Mark M.
My friend and I pulled up to the number one tee box on mountain ridge where there were 4 golf carts already parked on the cart path. Ken, the ranger, asked us what group we were. I told him and he said your up so the only logical way around the 4 golf carts was to go around off the path and I did as such. Ken become furious with me and proceeded to lecture and embarrass me in front of the other groups and how I should know better than to drive off the path. I nicely said that was the only way around the carts but he didn’t care. I was extremely upset with how he was treating me so I of course shank one in the woods. Ken then walks up to me and asks me if I want to hit and lose another golf ball. All in all nice course but the rude employee ruined it for me.
Wynne T.
We don't golf or ski and we still love Crystal Mountain in the summer and winter! There is so much to do. Special thanks to Jessicca for being patient, kind, and helping us figure out the best deal for our family. Also Spencer was extremely patient and helpful with our kids during archery. The only bad party of our experience today was the long wait for the Alpine Coaster. It had just opened the day before and only 1 track was open. Combine that with Covid precautions and it took a long time! My son said it was still today worth it!
Mike F.
Fantastic place, made even better by the best neighbors/friends on the planet. Do yourself a favor and check out the night sky from this location!
Perry F.
Great golf facility and friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit to this fine establishment.
Maurice K.
Beautiful place. Extremely well maintained. Golf course and greens are sublime. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for... ????????

The indor pool is very nice the staff are verry friendly
Scott G.
You ever been skied to sleep? Got our money’s worth at Crystal Mountain in northern Michigan. Great little village with much to do after you wake up from your “snow nap.” Have skied all the resorts in Northern Michigan and we keep coming back here each winter.
Michelle A.
Good, clean resort! I appreciate that they allow cats! It was quiet when we went, but everyone was working really hard!
Andrew D.
Went on a golf trip and it was 8 of us and we had a 1 night 2 day stay and golfed 36 holes a day, it was only $120 a person, and they have good food and drinks at a fare price. Really nice workers and awesome customer service oriented business
Brian S.
People are nicer here. The stay is more pleasant here. I relax more here. I come here now. Been coming here for years.
Kayleen L.
Best place Up North.

Wild and wonderful place. Great big mountain feel.
Mike B.
Kinda pricey but always a great time.

Played both courses a few times this weekend and they are in great shape. Staff is always super friendly and helpful.
Spencer R.
It was pretty fun. The big slide on the ski slope is very fun, but sometimes you stop and you have to scoot yourself to get started down the slide again. The house we got was pretty good and the service was excellent. The pool there is pretty nice too.
Dustin L.
Every stay we've had here has been excellent.
Levi “Google Maps Master” G.
Amazing for snowboarding

My daughter participated in the MRA youth ski program and loved it! She learned a lot from the instructors and was given personalized guidance when she asked. She will definitely take part again.

Very cool lots of lifts and runs
David C.
Amazing fun, good well kept routes, and a waffle hut!
Raiany C.
undoubtedly a wonderful place to take the family, stay and ski. polite and helpful staff.
Vmp
Expensive as hell tickets upwards of $100. Foods pricey too. Terrain is good, but gets skied out if there's no new snow in a couple days. Had some killer fun there skipping school. Just kinda wish it was still owned by a family instead of alterra and wasnt as crowded. But hey what can ya do. Not as bad as Stevens most of the time. ????
Joe B.
It's got a lot of variety and the accommodations are very nice. Anything from basic rooms to a beautiful two story condo like I rented. Several really good dining options, a great day cafeteria and a great live band at night.
Tim C.
Nice clean place
Lori M.
Great day with the girls on the mountain.

This was my second trip to Crystal Mountain as I have been going to Boyne Highlands and Mountain over the years. I loved it the first time but on this visit was frustrated by the WiFi that once again did not work in our room. At Boyne I am never a stranger and the WiFi works everywhere. No code or uneven access. I also felt uncomfortable at the Crystal spa being told it cost $30 as if I was not welcome when I called to ask its hours. Otherwise fun time and the rooms are spacious and smartly stocked
Kelly S.
My favorite place to ski!
Ross H.
Fun time.
Jamie S.
Great place to ski with great slopes and great staff.
Connor D.
Crystal mountain sucks
Greg N.
Great ???? area with amazing view for Rainier
Nicholas B.
The skiable terrain is good, nice amounts of runs. I've skied here multiple Times and I've noticed the lift operators are EXTREMELY RUDE! The last time I visited there was only one ticket window open on a peak Saturday @ 10am. In addition the counter employee would not accept my discounted pass voucher. Even though its been honored may times before this particular season. I would rather spend my money at a nice resort like Caberfae where the employees are respectful and they honor there voucher.
Alan C.
incredible experience
John D.
On the better side for Michigan but seriously expensive for the quality of terrain and snow.
David H.
This place is AMAZING!!! Even the rentals are button! How cool is that!?
Crystal D.
Friendly and responsive staff. We stayed at the Inn at the Mountain, which was newly remodeled. The one bedroom room was comfortable. For a Midwest resort, the village has a cute mountain feel and they have several events, noon-skiing activities, & entertainment. Lake effect snow and an amazing artisanal of snow cannons keeps the snow decent on the 58 runs during the season. Although the runs are relatively short, the lifts move quickly.
Seth M.
Only our second day and first visit but we got lucky and it's a beautiful snowy white winter day on the mountain. Hiking trails are well groomed and the skiing looks amazing! Night time lights and fire pits are beautiful. Food and drink options are ok so far.
Steve M.
Love this place! Great variety of trails!

I love here ????????????

A great place to go
Kristine A.
Such a beautiful resort
Jerry R.
Great service and quick responses. Local place to have a great time.
Richard S.
Went here for a ski trip. The whole process for renting gear was very smooth and prices were reasonable. The slopes were well maintained. The condo was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The staff kept the resort clean and sidewalks clear. The hot tub in the fitness center was a nice way to end the day.
Tina W.
Under the circumstances it was great
Ryan S.
I work here so my review might be a bit bias but compared to other Resorts that I have seen this place has a pretty good standard not too bad to work for them either my only complaint is that things are a bit overpriced also the spa it awsome
Tim M.
Great slopes, great atmosphere and great service!
Dantheplaneman
This place is great for many reasons. It has great service, great equipment and high snow quality. Overall, this place has a good feel to it. Best ski resort I've been to, it's not a waste of time.
Kristen L.
You have to go early or stay at the lodge because of traffic but it’s worth it. Well maintained resort, beautiful views, and the food is good! The instructors were patient, friendly and knowledgeable! Andy was great ???? thank you!

I drove up from Grand Rapids to ski here for the first time after buying my ticket online. This was the first and ladt visit I will make to this resort. The lift lines were insanely long. The runs were way shorter than I expected for a "big" Michigan resort. Do not waste your money here. Go to any of the other resorts un northern Lower Michigan. You will be happier there. I left with in an hour of arriving.
Heather D.
Good place for skiing and golfing, also ice skating rink available, fat bikes and snowshoe rentals... Good year round resort.
Brittany P.
Teddy fest is rocking and the slopes are poppin
Matt H.
Skiing is great, but the lodge is terrible. Not enough space and low ceilings. This is the worst of the lodges in MI.
Travis W.
Was here a wedding in September. Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous. Stunning views. Resort was amazing!
Bozo
Great slops to ride on
Joel D.
High speed chairs, great lift operators. Terrain for any skill level and great family atmosphere!!
Robby H.
Great Sunday family rates. $30 1pm-9pm
The Great Lakes Trucker ?.
Friendly staff, longer slopes than at other ski resorts in the area. Family friendly place. I enjoh coming to Crystal Mountain quite a bit.
Scott Van H.
Great conditions! Beautiful resort
Gnar Flow B.
This is possibly the best place to ski in Washington or even the PNW! It has a great beginner course as well as advanced trails. It has a great lodge. It also has a great park zone. This is a great place to ski and snowboard!
Ashley W.
Such a gorgeous place
Cory M.
Excellent conditions. Well groomed hills.
Michael S.
Great staff and facilities. Unfortunately limited vertical feet, typical for a Michigan ski resort.
Lynette M.
Lots to do. Nice condos. Lots of room and a good vacation place for the family
Molomo M.
Oh my, this place was phenomenal ! The accommodations at the Inn at Crystal Mountain is top of the line. Stayed in a two bedroom accommodation with one of the beds being a Murphy bed. Shower huge, nice microwave, wet bar area, and high end specialty lotions, shampoo, body wash. The restaurants are right in the back of the condos and there is a mini mart with great options, in the resort. The ski area is more than sufficient with nice runs for a mid west ski area. Really nice sport/ski stores. There is a full service spa with great services, reasonably priced. Have to go back asap, as this resort is so relaxing
Ryan W.
This was a amazing resort. Very clean facilities. Friendly people and the view is amazing. We will be back....
David F.
Fun Times. Nice resort.
Bill S.
Thistle pub and grill at Crystal Mt. Nice meal of rainbow trout and my wife had the NY strip.
Brenden M.
Great place to go for a day of riding. Had a great time and met some great people. Would definitely go back and cruise around on a snowboard all day.
Marie C.
Excellent if you have a family, a local, or are a new skier. The runs are short, with quick chairlift rides. They do a nice job running the place.
Mark S.
Overcrowded and outdated operations
Li Y.
Best ski ever! The mountain top view is so stunning!
Jen G.
Fabulous spa with eucalyptus steam bath, infrared sauna, more services than you can schedule in a day!
Matt R.
Went here for a company trip and had a great experience. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back!!

Be aware of their booking policy. If you need to change plans within seven days of your reservation they will not give your money back. And will charge you a cancellation fee. Most hotels require 48 hours, but Crystal Mountain has a seven day policy. Customer service is poor and response times are slow. I would recommend staying off property.
Scott F.
Nice place Little City in the middle of nowhere.
Joelma G.
Came here on a holiday weekend and was very happy overall. Husband and friends went snowboarding and skiing and had a wonderful time. They were able to ride all day long, and came back to the cabin happy and satisfied! I had a different experience because I chose not to ride and enjoy the amenities instead. First, the spa is amazing! Got my nails done with a very friendly and excellent technician, Nicole, and as I write this review a week and a half later my nails still look great! I didn't book the services in advance, however, Koreen, was able to move things around and got me in for a facial. The facial was also a wonderful experience! I had the pleasure of having a very knowledgeable esthetician, Katarina, who was very professional and did a great job. Her skin analysis and recommendations have changed my skin routine, and now I actually know how to use all the products I bought in the past. This alone was worth the trip to the spa! Thank you, Katarina! If you stay at the resort you can also use the gym, pool and they also have yoga classes. I attended two of them and they were excellent. The teachers were great and the classes were so relaxing! They have fire pits outside if you need to warm up! There are also a few shops, but they are mostly focused on ski/snowboarding accessories. I feel that they could offer a wider variety of shops for people like myself that do not want to ski, and rather enjoy the resort. There is a market, but it's very disappointing. The prices are very high, and the selection is mediocre at best. They have a huge opportunity to make this market offer a great variety of fresh goods, and at least a good selection of cheese and bread. The restaurants are a huge disappointment! This was really the only aspect of the resort none of the members of our 8 people party enjoyed. The cabins do not offer that much in terms of kitchenware, however if you bring ready meals you will enjoy your visit a lot more. Also bring snacks! There is also no Netflix, only cable, so if you are planning on watching TV, plan ahead. Overall, if you plan your trip and don't rely on the expensive breakfast buffet, you will have a wonderful time here!
Michael N.
Great for whole family trip.
Jessica W.
Love skiing here! Very delicious pizza and breadstix! Nice firepit area to relax! Beautiful hotel with heated floors in bathroom! Reasonable rates! Good food! Prices are better during the week days! Over all great experience!
Scott G.
Lots of lifts and runs to go down. Ski patrol was very kind and down to earth.
Johnny P.
I have been coming here weekly for night skiing and paying $50-$55. Arrived yesterday for night skiiing and paid $75. On top of that, quicksilver kept breaking down. Paid $75 for access to two lifts, with one barely working. What a rip off. Never again. I’ll be going to snoqualmie for night skiiing from now on.
Christopher M.
Always has plenty of front row parking and no lift lines, everyone should definitely come up every weekend and avoid terrible places like baker and alpental that are boring and far away. You can thank me later
Chasing G.
It was amazing today. Nice snow and amazing service.

Great place to go with family
Steven W.
Way over priced

Snow has arrived!

Friendly staff. Fun times in every season. There’s so much to do; I recommend hiking the art park, snowboarding, & the alpine slide.
Garrett A.
They have way expensive prices for pizza
Maverick W.
Good skiing
David M.
Amazing place to ski or even just to visit for the views. Take a ride to see Mt Rainier in the distance. Very remote/relaxing as you will struggle to have cell service. (In a good way). Plenty of eating options too.
Edwin H.
Very nice family oriented place. Would be a great place to learn snowboarding or skiing.
Ying L.
Small but cute. Price were reasonable. Very good to beginners.
Mike G.
Good place to take the kids, not much elevation, but a good teaching hill
Dani B.
Great place to snowboard & ski regardless of age & ability. I love to ride here! Plenty of tree runs, terrain parks & a good variation of slopes. The resort is beautiful! Especially the newer area! Rooms for any size group & ideally face & give you a view of the mountain, ice rink, spa etc. Really friendly staff & honestly the cutest the little neighborhood I've ever seen at a MI ski/snowboard resort w/inviting locals. You will never not have something to do here. Great for the whole family!
Kevin Z.
If you want to spend 6 hours in standstill traffic, go there.
Yupeng L.
Don’t go there on a weekend day! No parking!
Remus C.
Kid’s park was perfect for my daughter’s practice. Open at night too, kids under 7 ski for free. Overall, very nice experience. The blue, black slopes were interesting as well. I would return to ski at Crystal Mtn
Don D.
Great conditions. Great time.
Langston C.
Very good
Matthew S.
Never been to a ski resort without a single fire, indoor or outdoor. The blues are easy and the easy are bunny.
Gilles P.
(Translated by Google) Charming resort on a human scale, very well maintained snow, short slopes and lovely staff. (Original) Station charmante à dimension humaine, neige très bien entretenue, pistes courtes et personnel adorable.
Jon P.
Great resort. Very nice amenities. Snapped my snowboard strap on my personal board, and repair didn't have part but sent me to shop upstairs and they had me back on the mountain in 20 minutes. Could have ruined the trip, but Crystal mountain was prepared to get me back out there. Mountain is great for the midwest and has all kinds of different levels of slopes to offer.
John J.
Smart resort, bt very great..
Sandy M.
Fantastic
Jeffery L.
Beautiful setting. Was there to see torchlight ski parade scheduled for 10 PM. Got there 5 minutes ahead and found event had already been finished. Who starts an event before the scheduled time? Very disappointed.
Ruthann T.
A great place to go and relax do the pool and hot tub. They use salt in there pools. Which is really nice.
Robert B.
Great day on the slopes!
Jamie R.
this is place is good
Beatrix
The snow was really bad today. Not entirely under their control. Global warming and all . But I did not feel like I could enjoy skiing. So I asked for voucher they gave me one. I will be back! Thank you
Anthony R.
Not much snow so far this year. Great lodging.
Deana C.
Excellent place to ski! We really enjoyed our day!
Alec H.
Awesome views and excellent skiing! Fun hiking in the summer too!
Juli S.
Nice place. We usually ski Boyne Mountain, but Crystal has some nice amenities. Their rental area is very efficient, but their prices are steep. Its $125 for a one day lift/ski rental pkg for an adult and $104 for kids under 17.
Lumberjacks D.
We had an amazing time. Great skiing, downhill and cross country, we will return.
Matthew V.
Amazing ski resort with a wide variety of challenging trails for beginners, advanced skiers and everyone in between. Had a great time and will definitely be back!!!
Tripadvisor R.
I took my teenage daughters skiing here for a mid week getaway. We were here during the week before Christmas, so it wasn't their busy season. We went during the week and got really good rates. We stayed in a two bedroom condo in Wintergreen. The condo was nice, had everything that we needed. It was clean and updated. It was a short walk to the nearest ski lift. We were very close to the outdoor hot tub. I really enjoyed this trip. Crystal Mountain is my favorite ski resort in this area. They have a lot of different runs and plenty for everyone to do. We will definitely be back.
Dae H.
Staff was amazing
Ruwaida D.
Very resort but check in time sucks
Gaby L.
the room was great. however the staff was anything but pleasant. the ski patrol and rentals didn’t seem to have any compassion for anyone who came in looking to get serviced. all of them seemed to be in a rush to do something better than be there. they also ran out of equipment and didn’t seem in a hurry to find any for anyone.
Mark K.
Beautiful lodge, beautiful scenery, restaurants are good and the staff's friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our weekend.
James T.
The ski hill rating system is kinda off, and there prices are rather high for what you get, but it's fun, and there friendly.
Matt
Great powder. Great people. 1 hour wait to rent equipment. Busy weekend but good.
Stacie L.
I started skiing at Crystal when I was 4 and have come back ever since. It's upgraded a lot in over 20 years (obviously!) but it's still one of my favorite spots to ski. The terrain is super diverse and challenging. The runs are long, so you aren't spending your whole day in line... well maybe on a Saturday :)
Joe K.
Good family friendly ski resort. Skiing, pool, ice skating, spa. A little for everyone!
Drew T.
Nice and friendly staff always helpful but it's a bit pricey in the lounge three candy bars cost 8 dollers
Joe K.
Awesome place all year round, great skiing, ice-skating and many more attractions
Brian O.
Great place to visit
William H.
Great ski resort and has freshies today
Matthew A.
We had an excellent time! Celan, fun and the staff was very helpful. Will be back soon!
Rachel A.
Super upsetting first experience. Ordered tickets online last night for a day pass, got here this morning and checked in at rentals to get a snowboard and our lift tickets. We went straight to the lifts as any normal person does and only went down once. Little did we know (we were NEVER told by anyone) that the base camp doesn’t have running water and no food or bathrooms available due to circumstances. Asked guest services to exchange our day passes for a different day because my husband and I obviously can’t fully enjoy our time nor can I use the restrooms (they had overcrowded port-a-pottys). Overall super disappointed we couldn’t just leave and have tickets for another day when their “resort” is actually working properly. PS the trails aren’t even really groomed!
Jerry S.
Great place summer or winter
Narrowsbridge R.
Overall great ski resort. Lower score due to being somewhat pricey but MAINLY- if you’re gonna charge so much for food at least make it GOOD. It’s like the worst cafeteria food or stadium food at the highest prices. Suggest bringing your own food. They either need to lower the prices or get / make decent food. But when it snows and it’s fresh, the skiing/boarding is awesome!!
Felipe A.
Awesome
Terry R.
Great place and great people that work for you.
Garrett H.
I couldn't believe the good deals they had on lift tickets!! The staff was all super friendly and helpful. I was very happy with my first visit and will definitely be coming back.
Tammy W.
Skiing is awesome, parties are better

Went snowboarding recently and it was all good. The only problem is that on their website they said they were open till 9pm but closed at 7.

Love the experience except for the Thanksgiving dinner a hit and a miss with the food.
Adarsh T.
Had so much fun with my family and friends.
Thomas M.
Had a great time at the resort. There are tons of daily activities for adults and kids. Quiet time begins at 23:00. A little expensive but worth every penny.
Sara B.
We were here for the leaf peeping. Beautiful views!
Dave B.
Good pool
Rick E.
Expensive but worth the plans.

We loved this place for a weekend getaway. Peaceful lodging, the spa was incredibly relaxing, and great dining options! Will be back with the whole family next time.

Kathy L.
Hey it is where I work!! Love it...
Ellen B.
Early opening day. My grandson skiied all day for $10. Lunch at the cafe was delicious!
Robert S.
Love this place, it's my favorite local mountain and I can't wait to ride. I've been riding here since I was a kid and im partial to this over Snoqualmie, with the exception of Alpental. Back when Booth Creek owned The Summit, it's parks were phenomenal. Now Crystal has been holding it down! I was impressed with all the improvements made to the terrain parks. Plus they have WAY more terrain. It's a nice place to begin, advance or explore. Plus the Gondola is a nice touch to warm up on cold and damp days. Only downside is parking.
Terese M.
We went up with our grown kids and 19 month old grandson during one of the Halloween/Fall Spooktacular. So much fun! Lots to do. Our grandson loved carving pumpkins, (actually squeezing the guts in his hands), petting/feeding animals at the petting zoo they had set up, . He loves horses and they had horse drawn wagon rides. We rented a 3 bedroom cottage which was very nicely appointed.
Herbal W.
Great skiing place, great runs for lower Mi. The lifts are fairly quick, food was reasonably priced. Nice staff and amenities. Beautiful scenery throughout, most runs were easy going.
Jodi F.
Haunted trail was good fun
Kelly B.
I have only been to Crystal Mountain for an event but it was well done with a great staff, locale and food!
Scott S.
Stayed there on a color tour. The main lodge is state of the art. Heated bathroom floor, heated towel rack, shower and tub. Very comfortable bed. Ate at the Thistle restaurant on site. Excellent meal.
The D.
The best saunas. Awesome teas!
Samuel L.
Neat
Jack D.
This place very fun. If you have never been on a gondola, this is a good place to go for views if you like that sort of thing. Skiing is why i go. The terrain there is so fun especially when the conditions are good. Crystal mountain is good for beginers to advanced to expert skiiers and snowboarders. Go you will not regret it!
Jason H.
Haunted trail is pretty good.
Brittany B.
We love Crystal Mountain! A big part of that is being able to bring our dog. The staff here is amazing—always so kind and going out of their way to talk to you and see how your stay is. Beautiful, updated rooms and a beautiful property. We love the “small campus” feel with everything you might need at your fingertips (market, restaurants, bars, ice rinks, fire pits, etc.). When we need a quiet weekend getaway, Crystal Mountain is always our choice.
Jeffrey C.
Crystal Mountain always has a number of seasonal activities and events. This trip was to ride the ski lift while checking out the fall colors, as well as taking a luge ride down the hill. Fun for all!
Bala A (.
A nice place to visit, but only nice when it's very warm or when there is a lot of snow accumulated. Not recommended in Fall, unless you are viewing the trees, which are quite exquisite from the top.
Carrie P.
The luge is so much fun! I'm a 41 yr old mom, and I wished we had stayed all day! The luges are kind of compact, though. My son is 6'3" and thin. He barely managed to fit in it. Tall folks who aren't so thin, maybe try it before you pay for the all day pass. Next year we'll absolutely make a day of it, as we were passing through for a bit of fun, and a bite to eat. They area had lots to do.
Sam C.
Beautiful and the Alpine Slide can be great fun. Make sure your sled works properly. It should move with very little movement forward.
Candie L.
Nice resort campus. Was there for a conference. I will say that the 5pm check-in time is pretty irritating, though. I'd have thought that since they were hosting a large conference, they could have made arrangements for attendees to check in a bit earlier so that they could freshen up before having to register for the event at 5, especially after a long car trip. Maybe next year they could try to make it so that the rooms reserved for conference goers could be prepared perhaps an hour ahead of time, especially since those rooms were specifically designated for the conference. But other than that, everything else was quite lovely. Our room was very clean and the view was charming. Oh--and maybe if they could NOT mow the golf course lawn at 7 am while people were still sleeping, that would be great, too. Otherwise, like I said, very nice.
Sally P.
Very nice resort... small mountain... sorry, I'm from Colorado...
Geoff S.
The service and facilities were excellent!
Joyce P.
Great place to stay. Room was fantastic. Lots to do on the property.
Amanda W.
An amazing place to stay and recharge, everything is clean and comfortable! Awesome staff and they have a few restaurants (which can be a little pricey) as well! 11/10 ????????????
Mike F.
Always great service, both golf courses in great shape! Highly recommended!!!
Kathy B.

Came out here for a company outing and they accommodated about 40 of us. We spent the week here and had an a great time.
Jeri Lynn K.
Juat did the alpine slide but staff was AWESOME. Jessica Michelle and sherry!! Customer Service excellence!!
Jeff P.
Fantastic place! Any season. I have been there for 3 seasons (not spring). Staff is pretty good to very good. If you're gonna eat at the Thisle ask for Kelli!
Stephen D.
I visited here for a 3 day conference in the early fall. I stayed in the colonial lodge. Rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable. Walls are thin so it is quite noisy. The grounds and well taken care of and it is nice to walk around. The rooms for the meetings were excellent. The food offered during the event was very high quality. The hotel catering did a consistent good job. I would definitely come here again.
Paul K.
The Staff is great! The course is awesome. Heck of a place for skiings. Nichol this lady who tends the outdoor cafe made my day she stuck out in my mind. I would recommend this facility her family time or a romantic weekend. What a beautiful setting
Cheryl T.
Friendly modern and very clen
Mariush G.
Winters have to be awesome there!
Lee T.
Really cool village. The food was excellent. My only criticism is that the golf course wasn't quite what I expected. It was good but up north we probably expect too much.
Joshua P.
Alpine Slide was fun, $18 for two people, one ride. The Inn was a great stay with a nice , clean room. Everything is a little pricey here, but that's to be expected at a ski resort.
Lynne L.
B E A U T I F U L ! We WILL b back!

Beautiful place.

Absolutely a beautiful place and wonderful staff
Shari H.

Matthew K.
The views are fantastic and the Mountain course was beautiful and challenging.

Lots of summer things to do, maybe add an arcade or something for rainy days
Kyle G.
Lots of great terrain and amazing views
Kevin B.
Very nice place, enjoyed the Alpine Slide and the pool area. We'll be back
Jennifer G. (Enderbot P.
Great stay with our two kids (5 & 9). Loved alpine slide, pathways for scooters, indoor pool, overall service, and beautiful surroundings including gardens. Our least favorite was our room at Crystal Colony. Great location and good daily maid service but the room was dark and dated. The building and our room is in serious need of updating and redecorating.
Jay J.
Tons of fun. Super sandy.
Matt F.
Relaxing summer resort experience
Rose E.
Great but super busy today
Middleagemaniac
Alpine sled the only one in mi.
Matthew P.
Started our day at the adventure office and the ladies in the office were phenomenal. From there we went to the alpine slide and the gentlemen that runs that attraction was super friendly and helpful. Ian that the rock was was extremely kind and was great with our 3 and 6 year olds. The food at the pub was pretty good too. I would highly recommend this place for any family. We loved every bit of it and we can’t wait to go back in the winter. Thank you Crystal Mountain for such a great and wonderful time.
Marti L.
Absolutely gorgeous year round resort! The suites and each building are impeccably maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. The spa is relaxing and offers many very reasonably priced services. You can pay a day pass ($30 each adult) to use the hot tub and various amenities in the spa (not services). There are two great fire pit areas but seating is limited. A number of restaurants offering different foods. This resort DEFINITELY caters to families and children. There are so many fun activities that they can do it is a child's paradise. There is an amazing golf course and great bike trails. It is unfortunate that the "free" hot tubs allow children in them which is a deterrent for us. When we checked out the outdoor hot tub the water was murky and there was a family with 3 kids (one in a diaper) in it. Yuck!
Tyler S.
Great golf courses
Eric S.
Did the Alpine Slide. A little pricey, wish it was by the hour but we had a blast! Great staff there too. ?????
Kevin W.
Fun is all I can say
Kelly R.
Amazing family vacation! So much to do!!
Don Sherman (.
Nice family friendly atmosphere. Not a great location for a bachelor party if you are looking for a lot of nightlight, bars close early. Dont challenge me on the bobsled, no one can touch me. Pretty solid food at the main restaurant, but better options in town, imo.
Sender S.
Our family was here for a couple hours as a day guest. We purchased the 20 punch card & we had a great time on the alpine slides & the ropes course. The staff here is very friendly!!
Jon A.
Nice place for a family get away.
Autumn K.
Awesome place to relax for the evening
Melissa S.
Very nice well kept place. The moutntain bike trails aren't the best, but their not bad for a $20 lift ticket.
William M.
Great food and service
Valerie H.
We did the slide as a part of a Birthday celebration. What an adventure! So fun and worth going there for. I did slide too far over on a curve and lost some skin. Definitely recommend capris or jeans (something to protect your knees) and 3/4 length or long sleeved shirt to protect elbows.
Kevin B.
If visting in the summer, take friends, eat at bottom and have drinks at the top (not the opposite). Views are one of a kind..beware the chipmonk bandits!
Tom M.
Beautiful upscale resort with plenty of fine dining, beautifully landscaped grounds and countless activities and amenities.
Tracy D.
We had the best time!! Great venue and great employees!
John M.
World class resort. Beautiful setting. Wonderful Staff. Highly recommend
Deepthi R.
I visited this place with my husband during a weekend in the month of August. We reached the place at around 5pm on a Saturday. Thankfully the gondola rides are open till 8pm on weekends and hence we took two tickets and joined the folks who were waiting to take the ride. The gondola ride was smooth and the view throughout the ride was beautiful on that sunny summer evening. After reaching the view point, one can see the mesmerising view of Mt. Rainier across what seemed like a small stream. You can do a bit of hiking if interested. There are a few benches put up at the top. In a nutshell, it’s a great place to just chill out amidst nature.
Dan K.
Great ski resort, great wedding venue, great spa. Nice
Stephanie R.
1. Things to do: Crystal Mountain offers a variety of activities for families. Examples: The waterpark, aimed mostly for children with a playground in about 2 feet of water, includes a small slide and other little things. There is also a sandy area with a jungle gym and various sand toys to play with. The rock wall is also fun for kids 5+. The employees were very helpful and encouraging with our child who was nervous. We didn't get to check out the obstacle course with the zip line, but your child has to be at least 52 in to do it by themselves, or they require an adult to go up there too. The resort also has scheduled activities throughout each day, such as face painting, hair wraps, build-a-buddy (similar to build-a-bear), etc. Each come at a cost of at least $7 per child. Ski lift rides are available only two days a week, (wish it were every day, my kids loved it!) and then you can visit a bar area at the top, then ride back down the hill. The outdoor slide was something fun and enjoyable since you control the speed of your sled. We were able to ride down with both of our younger children (you can share a sled). They offer other activities listed on their website as well, we just didn't have enough time to check it all out. The restaurants: This is one area where I believe the resort can improve upon. They only offer two major restaurants to choose from, and a small pizza joint with salads and subs as well. In my opinion, both restaurants were lacking in choices. The Wild Tomato was alright, but every other dish has mushrooms on it (and for someone who doesn't like mushrooms, you're out of luck). I'm not sure what the other restaurant was called (had an Irish theme to it) but it was probably the best. Sitting outside in the summer offers beautiful views of the ski hills. The spa: Rated as one of the top spas in the nation, I really enjoyed my experience here. The prices are insanely high, but it was definitely an experience. I tried a facial and scalp massage with Katarina (she was very professional and knowledgeable about skin care), and it was wonderful and relaxing. Afterwards, you can sip on really expensive organic tea or jump into the jacuzzi for more relaxation. I highly suggest pampering yourself if you have the time. Childcare: Crystal Mountain does have childcare available only three days a week. $60 per child for a whole day (9a-4p). They provided meals and snacks, and of course the entertainment. It was nice for our kids to have some fun while we relaxed at the spa. They went to the waterpark with the childcare workers and had a ton of fun. Overall, highly recommend this opportunity if available during your stay. Other things: they have a small market you can buy food, drinks, gifts, etc. The prices really aren't too bad for being at a resort, and we frequented this place the most. The rooftop bar above the market (open at 4p) is a great place to order drinks and listen to live music when available. Great views from this bar as well. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Crystal Mountain. I will say, we live in Ann Arbor and are used to cultural diversity, and that's the one thing that this resort lacks. I know that they can't help who stays there though. Keep this in mind. This resort is very clean and always kept up. The flowers in the summer are beautiful, and the employees were helpful and friendly.
Michael Lambert (.
One of my favorite year around resorts. Mnt. biking, Golf, and Alpine slide in the summer. Nordic and Alpine skiing in the Winter. Nice hotel and condo's.
Nick C.
Great place for the family. They have everything you need to be comfortable. Make sure you don't leave your debit card at home, you'll need your dollars if you want an adut drink. The pool is a great place to relax with the fantastic lifeguard crew!

Been coming here for over 5 years.. just drove 5 hours with 4 kids.. only to enter a check in lobby with minimum 20 people/min 40 min wait . WE PAY over A GRAND A NIGHT FOR A GRAND WELCOMING...??????????????????????Also , I can’t review anything else bec iv only week the LOBBY! It’s uncalled for. However, if they compensate for the trouble I would normally give them 5 ????’s!

Great resort! Lovely area in northern Michigan!

Nice but difficult golf course
Carolyn H.
We found this gem after being up north at my parents house for years! We only had time for the slide, but oh my goodness it was a blast! We posted our videos and now other family members and friends want to visit. We will definitely return for more fun. I highly recommend this place. Note to visitors: they do offer a site with a great coupon where you buy one ticket, get one free! And it's faster if you fill out and sign your waiver on line before you arrive. Enjoy! We did.
Patrick T.
Had a great time riding the Alpine slide. Beautiful scenery at the top of the hill. Operators were very friendly and entertaining. It's a must do for restless children when you're in the area. Several other activities are available on site which we didn't have time to check out, unfortunately. Be back as soon as we can to check out what we missed.
Lisa P.
Had a blast at an association conference.
Robert W.
Beautiful place with stunning scenery. Tins to do and see. Or just kick back and relax. You gotta stop you won't be sorry!!!
Sandy H.
Lunch was good. Golfed 9 holes after. Really reasonable on Ladies Day (Tuesday). $19 for 9 with cart. Course was in very good shape. Staff was very friendly.
David C.
Beautiful, you have to see to appreciate

Nice resort, family friendly, professional staff. Played the Betsie River course, great shape, scenic and challenging. Lots to do here for all members of the family.
Nancy C.
Perfect wedding venue
James A.
Had a great time today, the slide, ropes and climbing.... rude customer service at the end of the day, which was unfortunate.
T.
Awesome slope plenty to do
Ken R.
Great and well maintained that something for everyone young and old.
Darby T.
Lots to do and I imagine it's a great place in the winter. Their Alpine Slide is affordable, fun, and gives some amazing views on the ride down. You control how fast you go so enjoy the scenic ride or zip to the end! Be sure to go on a day that's less likely to have rain (or periodic showers) as they don't provide refunds once tickets are purchased (went on a rainy-ish day but we had no problem waiting for the shower to stop). Don't forget to look behind you on the ski/chair lift as that's got a great view too!
Daryl B.
Nice course.
Lisa B.
So much fun.
Ben A.
Love it
Henry W.
We played 9 holes on the 'Mountain Course". It's a very pretty, typical Northern Michigan course. Lots of heavy forest lines the fairways, so slices & hooks wind up in golf ball heaven. Very picturesque. Not a lot of water hazards. Course was in great condition. Lots of attitude changes, consistent with it being a "mountain" course. Friendly personnel. Reasonable green fees ($50, including cart, on Manic Monday).
Dewayne S.
Ok
Michael T.
This place is awesome and they know it, which is why they charge so much.
Cranku T.
Great accommodations Patriots colts in families great golf courses funneh play on.
Jim N.
Alpine slide was not much fun for me. I had to push really hard on the handle to make the slide go foreword. I thought the thing must be broken but when I brought this up with the attendant he just said how hard you have to push to make the sled move depends on your weight. To much work for me to slide down a hill.
O K.
Best place to visit ????
Dave And Jenea P.
Great place
Tracie L.
My family and I came here for the alpine slide. Our 3 and 5 year old was nervous about the car lift but after the 3rd ride up, they were pros! The price was good since our kids rode with us free. Great facility!
P J.
Great place. Slide was insanely slow. Left with lots of unused tickets sadly. Wish we knew ahead each time would take about 2.5 minutes per rider up there for a 1.1 minute ride....
Chase C.
Went here for the views. Only went in summer. Bring a sweater or jacket. Lift tickets a bit pricey when you’re just going to the top for a little bit. Perhaps have lunch at the restaurant or bring lunch to make it more worth it. Decent customer service and good sandwiches at the cafe down at the bottom.
Mckenzie H.
Kids loved the pool....
Michael K.
Great place any time of year.
Jon R.
Best Family resort in Michigan! Always a great time no matter the season!
Brittany B.
My family and I were very excited for this getaway. Online the pictures of the resort and sceanery were beautiful and we were so excited to try all the activities. When we arrived everything was exactly as pictured.. but we soon realized that things were a lot different than we thought. I have a mixed race family and two beautiful mixed children. Everywhere we went in the resort we were starred down by white families. We were the only mixed family I saw during our 3 day stay, and to say that we were uncomfortable and unable to enjoy our vacation is an understatement. My husband was so uncomfortable after the first day that he wouldn't even leave the room or participate in any activities the rest of our stay. That is how bad it was. When your guests do not feel comfortable to walk out of the room that they paid for, that they took time off of work to enjoy because the vibe of the resort is so bad, that is a problem. I have never seen him in a situation like this and it broke my heart. My husband planned this trip for us as a suprise and he is such a good person and gets along with everyone.. literally EVERYONE. He is such a people person, and he of all people was so uncomfortable he would not leave the room. I tried to take the kids to the pool, so that they could have some fun. We were starred at while at the pool by white women, they would look at me and then look at my kids and back at me. No kids would engage with my son who is 9 and wanted to play with other kids. We stayed at the pool about 15 mins before we left and never went back. Very, very, very few people even spoke to us in passing or on elevator rides during our stay. And the stares were so unsetteling. I don't believe this is the resorts fault, all the resort staff we interacted with minus two employees were very nice and friendly.. however, It is important for me to leave this review to help out another family down the road. We spent well over $1000 on our stay here and it was the most miserable vacation my family and I have ever had. We stayed in our room until it was time to checkout and then salvaged our trip by extending our vacation and going to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. I would not reccommened this place at all for mixed race families. Please do not waste your money like we did, I would definitly reccommed Great Wolf Lodge, we have stayed there many times and it is always amazing and full of all kinds of beautiful people. I hope this helps someone else, don't make the same mistake we did.
John L.
Friendly staff. Tons of fun
Brian R.
I have snow skied and played golf here. Both activities A+. The course is playable and the greens are fantastic. Great staff and food.
Dl T.
Great golfing!
Robert K.
Its a great place to visit in the winter if you like snowboarding and skiing, as well as snow shoeing. There is a spa and exercise area. And during the summer they have an Alpine slide, paintball, hiking trails, golf, an outdoor waterpark, and their staff is friendly. The food is good and you get good service at the restaurants they have there.
Matt D.
Terrific July 3rd fun day for families - great fireworks!
Linda O.
Fun place to bring your family
Ryan H.
Alpine coaster is awesome for all ages. Go as fast or slow as you want. Fast carts are more than enough to keep any adrenaline junky entertained . Staff is fun and helpful. Do the all day pass, one time is not enough. Don’t scare the little kids to death on the first run.
Ali B.
Very good place.
Melissa D.
The Alpine Slide was definitely fun!!
Michael S.
Very relaxing getaway.
Damon D.
The cart thing is cool. It's expensive though

It's difficult to find a comparison when it comes to an all seasons resort. Crystal has it all. I've been going to Crystal at least once a year for almost two decades. 2 excellent golf courses, excellent spa/pool facilities, additional activities that are family-friendly. And they are extremely competitive when it comes to price.
Randy H.
Liked it
Andrew F.
It's a nice place but over priced on some activities and currently desperately in need of some landscape maintenance in a few areas.
Alan C.
Spent a few hours doing the Crystal coaster, and the adventure course. The staff could not have been nicer. What a great way to spend a summer day.
Doug F.
Friendly staff, lots of family fun in the summer!
Mark P.
This resort is really nice. There’s just about something for everyone & just about 25min drive to very unique places. This was our first time here for a work event & despite the 4 1/2hr drive, it was very enjoyable. The beds & rooms were very comfortable as well. We’ll be back.
Emma G.
Awesome place to visit
Mark L.
Really nice facilities, golfing and rental homes!
Robert M.
Best Midwest skiing
Clarissa T.
Something for everyone. Nature, spa, indoor amenities, plenty of places outdoor to make it feel like a village park and plenty of dining choices. Tons of stuff to do all year round.
David M.
Outstanding family resort
Keith S.
Let me first say, our group goes on a golf trip every year with 10-12 people for 3+ days. We book months in advance and this year, our communication with the office staff was the best it has ever been. Our lodging was a block from the clubhouse and had everything we needed. It was convenient, clean, and more than spacious enough for the 12 of us. Those two factors aside, our experience went completely downhill starting in the clubhouse at checkin for the first of our 6 rounds of golf. -I asked the gentleman working in the golf shop if we needed tokens or anything for range balls. Our group was playing under an unlimited golf package all weekend which included complimentary range use. The guy gave me a deadpan stare and told me that we were good and to go up to the range. We drive 5 minutes up to the range to find out we were supposed to get a code for the range balls. We ended up having to spend extra money for a complimentary service without apology or care from the golf staff. FYI, they messed this up the ensuing 5 rounds as well-STRIKE 1 -During our first round on Thursday, on 15th hole at Mountain Ridge, our lead foursome group was driven up on by a ranger who had been hawk eyeing us all day. One of our foursome had lost his tee ball and had spent about 3-4 minutes looking for his ball. When we teed off on the hole, the group ahead was still on the green. While we searched for the ball, they had cleared the green. The ranger drives up to our cart while my partner is addressing his ball and tells us to get going. We politely replied that the group ahead had just cleared the green and we were getting going. He continued to be rude, disruptive, and drove off without saying anything after pushed back on the fact we were not holding any other group up. This behavior from their rangers and starters continued the rest of the weekend and was the rudest display of hospitality from on course staff I have ever witnessed-STRIKE 2 -The staff as a whole was unwelcoming and generally seemed like we were somehow ruining their day. I wish I could have counted the amount of stares and non replies I received when waving and saying hello to any staff we saw. The closest thing I received to what could have been considered a response was when the beverage cart employee slowly rode by my cart and gave it the grand inquisition only to realize I had actually spent almost $50 on a six pack of beer; then and only then did she wave before moving on to the next cart. I certainly do not expect anyone to kiss my a**, but a smile or thank you for spending $500+ and choosing their resort would seem to be in line-STRIKE 3

Mark G.
This course is over packed groups in front of us were over served with liquor throwing up on the course 15 to 20 minutes per hole waiting time even watched a beer cart girl crash the car into the trees......... that being said the course itself was beautiful
David B.
Not RV friendly

The host, hostess, and bartenders seem snooty and disinterested in customer service and communication. You walk in, or sit at the bar, they just walk over and look at you. You are expected to initiate the conversation. Next time you visit, just stare back. After several uncomfortable seconds and confused looks they'll eventually say "two for dinner?" Or "what can I get you?" It has become a little game for us when we go there now. We always make them talk first and almost every time it is the same long uncomfortable silence, followed by momentary confusion, before they finally welcome us. Give it a try yourself; walk in, smile, say nothing...see if you have the same experience. For us we see this a lot with the younger generation no matter where we are, but this place has done each visit.
Gary R.
Nice place for a wedding reception. Easy access to outside cocktails, and very pleasant bartenders.

took a day trip to the Crystal Mountain Spa - what an operation they have there! world-class amenities with a dry sauna, steam room, relaxation area with refreshments, and an outdoor hot tub exclusive to the spa area. INSIDER TIP - if you book a service at the spa, you have access to the spa area for the entire day! you can leave, have lunch, play some golf, hit the slopes, and come back and enjoy the amenities. this next-level experience keeps us coming back time and time again.
Charlie M.
Great restaurants, lots of activities (indoors and outdoors) and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Vanessa L.
Went to the Spa Days. Lovely spa! Very clean, friendly staff and amazing services.
Ann T.
Spa days are the best! Fantastic guest service from everyone!
Matt P.
I love this resort! The skiing experience is pretty good considering the mountain isn't very big and the runs aren't very long. But it is very well maintained and staffed. There is usually some kind of entertainment on the upper floor of the main lodge. The golf is definitely one of the best values I've seen in the state. Courses are maintained meticulously, very rarely is there something out of place. The pro shop and pub are great and the staff is always very helpful and polite. Haven't tried the mountain biking or water slides but I've heard great things.
Shawn R.
We absolutely love crystal mountain! There's so many family events, its never a dull moment.

(Translated by Google) The hotel is very different in quality. But all in all good. Unfortunately, breakfast is not included in the price. Parking super easy at the house. The shop is overpriced and the quality needs to be improved significantly. The houses look like a belt from the outside. The ski slope is equipped with many cannons, there is no lack of snow. However, the slope is only for beginners and a very short descent. Lifts make it bearable. The Irish restaurant is good including a bar. Whoever comes here should take a house with family and friends It makes more fun. The spa is ok, overpriced and very crowded and restless. You can do it, but there is better. The nature in the area is great.

Nice swimming area.
Bobby M.
Best utilization of space at any resort around. Tree runs are the bees knees. Especially fun on Mardi Gras. Bar life could be a little bit better, but the mountains great
Jim M.
Played the Betsy Valley course and it was in outstanding condition for this time of year. Great staff and services.

Great spot!

Amazing place to do skiing , my husband and me went to celebrate our anniversary, we paid for beginners class and was absolutely amazing , JADE the coach was súper kind and patient with us , I love this place I will do next year again

We always have a good time. There were some renovations and not much to do this time. It is between seasons though. They keep building. Can't wait, it is going to be even more awesome!

Always a good time snowboarding here!

Thanks Nick for writing the awesome message in the snow and taking us for a ride in the groomer. Thanks for setting the fire up for us too. My birthday was a great time.

Our Retreat was five star, but house keeping didn't do to well, beds look like someone had slept in them, two days in a row.
Tim B.
I took my 11 year old for some ice skating, the rink is really small, for the price I would have thought it would be a bit bigger! When we first got there we were the only ones on the ice, after maybe 10 minutes a larger group came out 5-6 people, we cut skating short because there was not enough room
Issy
Yee yee let's bomb Buck yall
Wes C.
Very good skiing for Michigan
Joe J.
Nice close vaca spot

Great spot to for a meeting!! Hopefully you have the opportunity to ski there!! Some of the best slops in the west part of Michigan!
Max A.
Good run quality, plenty of runs
Carly D.
Such a wonderful place.
Jennifer S.
Wonderful place to spend vacation!! Very friendly people wherever we went! So many great activities for families. We had a blast!! Only improvement would be housekeeping; not horrible but could have been better. We are definitely returning soon!
David D.
Good resort with many different runs. I went here as an amateur and there were many good runs that I was able to do! It was a fun day with a lot of snow even though it was already the end of March. Some runs were really icy but that’s mainly because the day before we went it was above freezing and froze over night. The prices are moderate too, for 2 lift tickets we paid $30 and my rental was $38!
Rachel H.
Best accommodations at a michigan ski hill. New grocery store is great! Stocked with lots of cool local products.
Vasily R.
Great mountain. Has a gondola and is great for experienced skiers.
Samantha R.
They have a lot to offer. Great family outing place.

Wonderful relaxing great massages facials hot tub , saunas Tama absolutely beautiful
Chris L.
From North surburb of Chicago to enjoy ski for kids and snowboard for myself and my wife there on Crystal Moutain during Spring break. We've stayed 3nights there in Hamlet whch was really nice clean updated room and bathroom. there was small kitchen with faucet, sink, refrig, microwave oven, dishes and toaster. there is small round table with 4 chairs !!!! Only one complain was the pillows which was really uncomfortable for 4 of us !!!! the best one of this ski resort is the slope is just a front or next to hotel. which was really convenient before/after ski. Just leaves ski/board gears in the locker(storage) on 1st floor. the slopes were kind of slushed afternoon on late of March with temperature over 35F but accaptable personally which is better than iced for skiing. there is no waiting line for lift and good for beginners as well. Crystal Market was good and you can buy something like normal stores near home but pricy. Really recommended for family ski in winter !!! I will revisit some day of Summer later.
Michael B.
Nice for novice skiers and kids.
Chris J.
We did late season skiing at the end of March. There was still plenty of base. One lift and a couple of runs were closed. After skiing, we played laser tag and used their fat tire bikes. The on site grocery store was well stocked and reasonable. Great place for a quick get away.
Lynda M.
Prices a little high but great ski resort
Lucid C.
Crystal Mountain is the best Ski Resort in Michigan!
Lori D.
Stayed onsite, friendly staff, fun snowboard instructor, lots of activities!
Riley K.
Skiing is nice and the prices are good. Fisher is awesome!
Poetic J.
Rooms in hotel portion feel as if they have not been decorated since the 70s.... I was a bit grossed out. the shower had globs of someone else's hair and after pulling out my lysol wipes and wiping down the place.... let's just say my wipes were black when I was done. after that I slept in ny clothes, showered in my shoes and counted down the days for us to leave. oh yeah... THERE IS NO ELEVATOR lodge hotel area, so if you are on the upper floors be prepared to walk! the young people working in the ski rental section... where you get your boots were rude as hell! one girl was screaming at a child (there was a kids ski club from a school there) so badly that I had to intervene. the country store onsite was nice, the ski slopes themselves were amazing. The conference center we used was nice as well....
Dave S.
Great Michigan ski resort. Nice facilities and rentals. Slopes well groomed and lots of base.
Vexion
This is my favorite place to go skiing the food is good no matter wher you go. The people are very friendly. This place caters to all ages. The rooms are very nice in both the old and new building.
Matthew M.
Hills were fun and usually in great condition. Best cust service in N Michigan. Lots of rooms and condos for rent, even ski in- ski out. Resort is year round with lots of stuff to do in the summer.
Janko C.
Great place to take your family. Clean rooms, great food and relaxing atmosphere.
Thomas H.
Great for the family
Anish N.
Great variety of slopes, especially for beginners.. however they have hidden charges when you buy a package. Charge extra for helmets and charge extra if you want to swap your board for skis
Samrat D.
Loved the place
Jim L.
Great timing. Upgrade to a massive condo and the forecasted reason ended up being snow. Typical late season crowds (none). Great time.
Lance T 2.
this mountain isn't made of real crystal what the heck man still finna epic though 5/5 ign
Benjamin L.
By golly it's expensive up here. But it's pretty. And has well groomed trails. And good staff. And excellent, excellent views. If you're not super big into skiing (and you probably aren't if you're reading this), grab your rentals at the base of the mountain in Eunemclaw to save some money.
Chaz L.
One of the best places to ski.
Mike H.
Best ski resort in the Seattle area. Great terrain, high speed lifts, gondola and more. Food food and beverage selections at various locations around then mountain. Great customer service. Gets Very Busy on winter weekends.
Medic L.
Pool was a great hit for my kids
David R.
One third of the resort is glades! I love skiing in the trees.
Brett H.
Great place for a small village feel. We enjoyed the skiing, talking around the fires, hot chocolate, and the store has some great finds. I would suggest if you want the amenities all within walking distance.
Tami C.
I have been up to Crystal Mountain twice this winter to take my family skiing and snowboarding. This resort has everything you could want for a wonderful family experience. From beginners to experienced skiiers. We stayed at the Hamlet the first time we came, as there were only 4 of us. It was a nice hotel room style. This last weekend we had the whole family...7 of us, so we stayed at the Kinlochen. It was a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath condo facing the slopes. It was absolutely amazing. Full kitchen and much more! The entire staff, all the way from the booking reservation staff, to Brian and Taryn in the ski shop at the lodge, went over and beyond to be as helpful and friendly as anyone could ask for!! I am generally not one to do reviews, but I felt it was necessary to let everyone know what a great place this is to come and ski for the day or stay for a long weekend as we did. Thank you Crystal Mountain for a family trip we won't forget!!! Tami Conley and family!
Brentb W.
Quaint village atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor activities to fill your day.

It was fabulous. Great skiing, great food and friendly people.
Mark P.
Absolutely excellent skiing for the area. Love it. Great night skiing prices although I wish day skiing got a bit cheaper at the end of the season.
Kurt S.
Great skiing. Best bang for the buck in Michigan.
Chad F.
Resort area was well maintained and the staff was incredibly friendly. We rented cross country skis and used several of the groomed trails that were available. Even on a busy day/weekend, I was impressed
Nathan B.
Good skiing, great rooms and activities. Price is good value for what you get. Will definitely be returning in the future
Mathew B.
Awesome place to get away
Naveed K.
It’s rare to see an easily accessible ski resort that’s family friendly and has the hotel room, the parking lot, the ski rental facility, AND the lift all within 100 feet of each other. This place is beautiful with plenty of runs and is very easy to get around. This is the best family friendly resort I’ve seen.
Andrea L.
A great place for people of all ages who enjoy winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing!! I would highly suggest a hot cocoa and Belgian sugar waffle at the outdoor walk-up waffle cabin!! YUMMMMM!!
Forrest P.
Great family fun, great staff and great food
Connor H.
Great place to ski I come up every year with Michigan adaptive sports they are always super helpful
Scott M.
Very underrated for up North Michigan skiing. Great resort, great mountain.
Robert B.
A little over priced for what it is, but what can you do.
Kathleen S.
Friendly staff
Becca A.
All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The DJ at the Vista Lounge Saturday afternoon was hilarious and very engaging - made a rainy afternoon way better than expected! The waffle cabin is adorable and makes some amazing waffles. Dinner at Thistle was wonderful! Can't wait to come back.
Kyler B.
This place is awesome you can ski/snowboard any time before 8pm
Victoria W.
Used to ski every weekend at Crystal Mountain. Perfect place !
Ernie D.
Great time, wonderful staff, thanks Crystal Mountain!
Hart M.
Enjoyed the NASTAR Midwest Regionals. Dinner at the Kinloch was good and the staff very attentive (they do not take reservations, however).
Char E.
Great slopes & Beautiful sights! We were there for Mid Winter Break....once arriving I was worried the crowd was going to make for long lines on the lifts. However between the 3 lifts in front, they didn't disappoint considering all the people they were shuffling. The slopes weren't over crowded either. Staff was always pleasant and helpful when needed.
Ann M.
Family friendly, with all the amenities you need!
Andrew J. W.
Great Midwestern Ski Resort - especially for the family! Tons of kids activities and a great pool. You can pay $10 for a day pass to the fitness center which includes pool access even if you are not staying at the Resort.
Craig W.
Fabulous condominiums, excellent slopes and grooming. Fun, fun fun
Paul D.
We always enjoy our time spent at crystal mountain. The service is great, the powder was perfect, and rooms are good
Erin C.
Ski instructors are patient and knowledgeable with both kids and adults. Thistle restaurant is delicious. Love the ski shop and the other boutiques. Our wintergreen condo was perfect, 2 bed, 2 bath. LOVE Crystal Mountain!!!!!! We have stayed here 4 years in a row
Gary M.
Day skiing with family. I think they do a nice job here. Hill is fun by midwestern standards. Lines were reasonable on what was probably one of the busiest days of the year. Food is good. Lodging is good too for a family weekend. I wish the lift tickets weren't so expensive.
Nicholas S.
Amazing place to ski, best place I have been too and decent price.
James M.
Crystal provides a great experience. While I prefer tree skiing I do enjoy many of the groomed runs. I try to arrive early as the grooming is fantastic. While there this time I was finding good off piste skiing off the back of the north face run near the powerline. Enjoy!!
J J.
Coming from California this Mountain is huge can't be done in one day.
M.e. Felton I.
Great place!
Jason S.
Lots of terrain options, lots of lifts, less crowded on the back side
Ryan
Ski rental process is awful and takes forever. Wasted almost 2 hours getting all the equipment just to stand in line for lift tickets. Awful
Shiva S.
Lovely place and awesome views from the top of the mountain

Awesome experience! Very friendly staff. Room updated with new amenities including heated floor. Ski conditions were excellent. Highly recommend for families or couples. Great place for beginners too, lots of easier hills. (Hardest level is only 1 diamond, no 2 diamonds here)
Matthewg717
It was as awesome as it normally is. Would prefer a terrain park with larger jumps, largest straight jump is 5ft.
Greg W.
One of the best in Michigan. Well maintained and lodging onsite.
Shannon Harte - F.
Family destination for two years now, fun each time.

My husband and I spent the weekend at Crystal Mountain as a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law. It was beautiful! I had a private hour long snowboard lesson with instructor Aiden. He was awesome! Very patient and kind! The food was delicious, my one complaint is that there aren't a lot of vegetarian or vegan options. It was a bummer, but not a deal breaker. It's really nice how you don't have to leave the resort of you don't want to. There's two small grocery stores and plenty of restaurants to choose from, there's even a pizza place that will deliver to your room! And it's great pizza! I really have nothing negative to say about Crystal Mountain or my experience there. It was so wonderful. I look forward to future trips here.
Charlotte P.
Top notch spa, doesn't disappoint. Have been coming for many, many years. I've tried others, while on vacations and in my local area but they can't compete with the level of service and all the details that have been thought of. Always a wonderful, relaxing experience!
Hayden M.
Excellent slopes, well maintained. Great facilities, helpful staff
Guthrie K.
Good snow, military and first responders discounts and well maintained facilities
Patty H.
AWESOME place to have,a great time.

Aiden is an awesome snowboard instructor. He really helped me understand how to control my board and understanding foot positioning. Thank you again Aiden!

Great New Years events

Great place to ski we will be back
Linda W.
Best skiing in the Midwest for beginners to intermediate.
Phyllis K.
Went to a meeting dinner. Very delicious. Rate the meal alone a 10. My family likes to ski and love the slopes. In the summer, the grand kids come up to use the mountain slide, play tennis and other outside games. They have a great time.
Michael I.
We stayed in one of the hotel style condos. It was very nice and had a great ski lodge feel with timber accents throughout. We we're lucky enough to get a room with a view of the mountain and we're able to watch the new years fireworks right from our room since we had a one year old with us. There were a few nice activities for our son to enjoy including the pool, a play area in the fireplace room of the lodge, and a skating rink outside. It's a great experience every time we come to Crystal mountain and would recommend it to anyone no matter the time of year.
Kevin W.
Great Value. Just wish they had more food options after skiing.... i guess its normal up there to close early. Hotel room was great
Alun W.
Just love this place!! Great for the family or an adults get away!!

Pristine facilitie. Nice comfortable very clean
Angie K.
Well kept and the bar and food is great!
Kevin K.
Great atmosphere, awesome eats, and relaxing!!!
Troy L.
Spent a week skiing in MI and Crystal was the biggest dissapoint by far. Tiny hill, poor grooming and prices for everything were too high. Some of the accommodations are much nicer than the ski hill merits. Save your money & time: just make the drive north to Boyne or Nubs.
Markie M.
Great little get away from the city. The snow was in decent condition and runs were long for a smaller mountain. The view at the top is worth it all.
Larry Long (Big S.
Gotta love it
Taylor D.
Had a great time! Stayed in the Pinehurst cabin. The only downside was that it was a little unclear as to what their hours of operation were. They abrubtly closed the ski lifts at 5ish when we thought that they'd be open til 9pm. Kinda bummed.
Cris R.
Wonderful place, customer service is great! They are so friendly, and explain you what you need to ski. Even if you bring your own equipment they help you to adjust it. Employees are so friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Facilities are great!
Phil S.
Great place to relax.
Chris F.
Stayed at Inn at the mountain room. It was very comfortable and clean. Extras like heated bathroom floors and towel warming bar were awesome as the temp were very cold at -22 Celsius during our 3 days of skiing. Wild Tomato served healthy fresh beak fasts and excellent friendly service.
Chris H.
Love going skiing here
Gino T.
Great place for skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer. The pricing is reasonable as well when compared to other resort spots with skiing and golfing. If it had two more dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it'd be perfect.
Jerry J.
Accommodations in Colony were excellent. Wish that more slots had been groomed, however.
Nathan J.
Great resort! They keep the lifts moving and the trails are maintained excellently. The food is good and every time I have been here they have excellent live music in the tent bar and lodge bar. I would highly recommend staying and snowboarding at this resort. They have a 24hr shuttle that will take you to any area of the resort.
Drew C.
The hills were amazing, some were challenging and some easy. They struck a good balance with the difficulty.
Maxton H.
I enjoy skiing and staying at Crystal, which I have done many times over the years. I guess I was just clicking too fast this week and pre-bought online tickets, for Crystal Mountain WASHINGTON. Luckily, Jessica at ticketing took care of me and got me online rates for my trip and helped me get a refund. Everyone at Crystal is pleasant and helpful. I will return.

BEST time ever
Kristen W.
Was a fantastic hill for the family, little brother made best of friends with his coach. Was lucky to have a little fresh powder for the hill to????
David K.
Very nice full service ski resort. 7 out of 8 lifts operating on a Thursday. Runs on all sides of the mountain. Good area to teach little kids. A moving carpet to take kiddos up a slight incline then ski down. Many lodging options. Good lodge with all the usual food and beverage. Nicely organized system to get skis and lift ticket. Some midweek specials online. Really nice improvements over the years. Highly recommend
Joe J.
Beautiful!!!
Ace B.
Great place to explore, although very expensive
Faith P.
It was a great place to be at if you enjoy snowboarding and skiing. Very nice rooms.
Jennifer G.
Good, very helpful employees. It did take quite long (1h10m) to pick up e-tickets and get rentals
Stacey M.
Best place to ski in Michigan! All levels of skiing/boarding! Fabulous staff!
Bella A.
Crystal mountain has always been my family's favorite ski spot. The staff is helpful and all of the runs are very well groomed. A great visit for some casual skiing.
Leah B.
Super cold but super fun
Camie A.
Decent sized ski resort, large lodge area and reasonable prices for a day of skiing

Amazing
Jacob W.
It was an amazing experience. I broke my wrist on my final day there, and their ski patrol was super friendly and efficient.
Deb R.
Great ski resort, lots and lots of extremely helpful staff. We were there for the first time with a group of kids, half were expert and half were beginners. Everyone had a great time and can't wait to do it again.
Doug D.
Went for a day trip. Plenty of runs and lots of snow.

10/10 - BEST WA MOUNTAIN! You cannot beat Crystal Mountain. 2 hours from Seattle and plenty of parking. Rarely does a day come around where they have to turn people around due to parking. The mountain is absolutely stunning and if it’s a clear day, the view of Rainier is incredible! The bowls at Crystal are amazing after a snow storm. The Northway is a great area for advanced skiers to get away from the more crowded areas. And all the terrain off of Chair 6 is excellent as well!
Kassandra J.
Not much is open or going on , on a Thursday. Food is expensive in the cafeteria. Better to go downstairs to the pizza place during the week. Where were the tacos!!! They were the best thing. And why isn't the lounge open on Thursday? Dumb
Spencer K.
Rooms were great. Friendly staff.
Sonja R.
Impeccable service.
Matt N.
Great room, and great skiing.
Justin M.
Pretty small and crowded, nice lifts, nice restaurant
Heather T.
The resort was fun. I only went snowboarding. They have a great deal Christmas Day. The hot chocolate is overpriced.
Jennie H.
The ski lift is VERY fast, which is incredible. The buildings are okay. The food was very affordable and worth the price.
Kyle F.
Stayed at the inn at the mountain. All the staff was wonderful and slopes we're good while I was here.

A+
Trevor S.
Love snowboarding at Crystal Mountain. Even with the lack of snow this year conditions are still good. All the facilities are great and enjoyable
Tony B.
Fortunate fresh powder. Not too long lines. Night skiing scary. Lots of young snowboarders, only a few trails open. Congested. Unsafe.
Yu S.
Not much things can do around.
Aditya Vikram S.
Went for fat Tyre biking on the snow. The routes are well planned and the prices per hour are cheap. Had a really fun time!
Ethan G.
Good place to ski and snowboard. Lots of runs and lifts went well.
Israel S.
Great hills nice grooming.
Travis L.
To Crystal Mountain and had a great time the roads were accessible but to be honest I think the place needed a little help with their staff members I understand they probably have a lot of first-timers come up but in terms of a beginning place to start snowboarding I wouldn’t recommend nobody seem to really be too helpful they just kind of pretend it and acted like we were just any other person great for for intermediate snowboarders and skiers a great accessibility to hotels as wellI give it three stars for my experience I still had a blast but I see a lot of room for improvement
Jack W.
The skiing is excellent for lower Michigan resorts, and despite less than optimal weather for skiing, the resort delivered. Snow quality and grooming held up. Room was in Excellent Location at the bottom of the hill and access to the pool and spa was a nice perk.
Nate E.
Snow was alright. Very easy skiing
Julie M.
Love!!!!
Kevin K.
Terrible parking, every guest was rude (staff was nice), people tailgating forced other people to leave parking spots for their friends by laying on the horn and honking until people moved. Every guest seemed snobby.
Brett C.
Snow was as good as it could be, very well groomed. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Kenneth D.
We love Crystal. Well, most of it. The skiing is as good as it gets in Michigan and the amenities are as good as it gets anywhere. The village rivals some of the best resorts out west. All that said, there are two things need improving..... 1) The parking lot. Crystal, please for the love of God, pave your parking lot. Last time we came it was so muddy that I'm still cleaning out the back of my car two weeks later. Last week we went to Homestead instead because it was above freezing and we didn't want to deal with the mud. 2) Facilities near the magic carpet / ski school. It's hard enough to come skiing with young kids. The only options to get the kids dressed and ready are 1) a very long walk from the main lodge, or 2) get ready in the muddy parking lot (see above). Doesn't have to be fancy, just something for the kiddos.
Scott B.
Went snowboarding there for the first time. Hills were a little icy at some spots but overall a great place to be.
Zach H.
Went to snowboard always a good time.
David S.
My favorite mid west go to ski/snowboarding resort. Also great golf and many other summer winter activities. A must see stop.
Finn G.
Great service and lovely snow
Lisa S.
Not sure of prices, but it's beautiful!! Rooms and little houses to rent, restaurant, meetin and reception rooms, skiing, snowboarding and more!
Reid Riley - Fakie F.
Great skiing, other than the poor line organization at the bottom of lifts
Trenten A.
Went for a night ride on my snowboard with some friends!
Eric E.
Great Michigan winter sports area with an upscale feel. Skiers from all over the Midwest head here when they can't make it to the Rockies.
Chris F.
Crystal Mountain is a great Ski resort. Plenty of runs, and very pretty.
Joyanna N.
Workers are friendly and the snowboarding instructors know what they are doing.
Patrick T.
Great place for winter family fun.
Gavin R.
Great lower Michigan skiing experience, rivals Boyne mountain. Accompanying resort is clean and convenient.
Lisa B.
Best skiing!!
Lucy H.
Great experience staying at the Hamlet area of the hotel. Right at the base of the mountain but steps from the pool.
Melissa R.
Stayed at the Inn on the Mountain. The housekeeping is sloppy. We received an unswept and undusted room. The restaurants are mediocre at best, food is high priced with SLOW service. The Spa was fabulous as were all the activities and staff. Just plan on bringing your own cleaning supplies to make sure your room is clean.
Damon C.
Great place to spend some time skiing. The lines were not long and the runs range from easy to semi-challenging. The facilities are all relatively new, so everything is clean and nice. Lots of entertaining choices for meals and diversions there.
Miks S.
Good variety of runs and very family friendly
Trevor O.
rooms where hot skiing was great
Andrew B.
Skiing was fantastic
Nicholas H.
The slopes were gnarly
Tom J.
Nice facility.
Stephen T.
Awesome place to teach kids how to snowboard. Magic carpet is super cool and the facilities are first class. I highly recommend going to crystal mountain if you are looking for great snowboarding or skiing. I grew up snowboarding here and it’s fun to teach my kids how to ride, here.
Doug B.
GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILY OR JUST FREINDS TO GO SKIING!
Paul H.
I like the place, the facility is pretty good, the room is pretty big and comfortable. As for trails, this is not big mountain, so the trails are not long. Also at one place there are several trails merge together and a little bit crowded, especially for beginners. But overall, it is a good place to relax and enjoy.
Jeff T.
The slopes are really well maintained and all of the staff are very friendly.
Beth L.
Always Amazing xoxoxo
Tristan N.
I can’t recommend this place enough. The customer service is great and the campus is awesome. You plus you get to see Fisher.
Kendra C.
I love skiing at Crystal Mountain! They have so many lifts and trails it's very easy to spend a hole day there without getting bored! The only thing I would change is their lodge, they need more seating.
Glen R.
We stayed as guests in the cottages. There are numerous activities available, including skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and wagon rides. We attended their child friendly New Year's Eve party.
Edison N.
The new year's festivities where awesome. Great experience

Best hills I'm the LP
Chad P.
Crystal Mountain is one my family's favorite places!
Evan M.
The place was nice, however they just don't have the resources for the number of people that show up during the holiday season.
Mark M.
Very impressed with our first snow week. Despite rain the pole cats ran all day when the temps turned cold. The lines at the lifts were not bad but poorly thought out. Looking forward to several more visits this season.
Christina S.
Great runs.
Eric B.
Good ski hill, expect lines in holiday.
Venessa R.
Wish it wouldn't have rained this trip. And I wish they'd give vouchers for another visit due to inclement weather.
Michael M.
Family friendly with lots of activities to meet A variety of interests.
Kfk R.
Love the skiing
Adam K.
The skiing is super! The chairlift lines are very fast especially if you are skiing down the back. There is plenty to do even if it is not skiing weather!
Makala G.
My favorite ski resort in Michigan thus far.
Kelly S.
Lot's of fun. Many slope choices. Restaurants are descent and prices are not bad.
Bob W.
A wonderful resort, fantastic golf, great skiing, beautiful facilities. The spa, gym and pool are in a timber frame building, wonderful inside and out.
Albert T.
Good variety of slopes. All chair lifts were very functional and staff was very courteous and kind. Weather was not perfect for our trip but we still had a good time.
Patrick M.
Not the best skiing in the country, but the facilities are top notch. If you don't wanna go west to the Rockies, this place is very nice.
Jeff C.
Snow was great!
Jeremycollura 763
It's a great place to bring your family for a day or a trip it has everything
David L.
On one of the busiest weekends, the Northwest Passage room was not open for day skiers. Totally crowded and not acceptable area for day skiers. Made for a bad situation for eating lunch even though they did a great job of snow making and grooming
K C.
The Northwest Territories day use area in the Crystal Center is no longer available. Crystal is crowding all of their day visitors into a tiny area two table widths wide. Gone are the comfortable chairs for people who may be attending with family but unable to ski or watching young babies. Gone are the tables for families to gather for meals and conversation about their day or skiing without being piled on top of each other. For this Crystal’s answer is the heated beer tent. Neither family friendly, healthy, nor accessible for people with disabilities or specific health needs. If there was the possibility of giving negative stars I would.
Robert W.
I love this place. It needs more food options.
Matthew L.
Great place to ski and the houses are extremely nice. I wish the sit down restaurant was bigger. Expect a long wait on a busy night.
Mohammed Abdul H.
Great resort for family and couples
Gerry S.
Nicest ski resort in Michigan
Benjamin K.
Good place to learn to ski, beginner runs coming down from all the lifts, and also a mix of mediums and difficults which gave the 7 and 9 year old a challenge towards the end of the day. The rental center is well-organized, way better than Schuss Mtn, a bit less so than Caberfae. Rental center is right at the hillside. The area is more like Nubs and Schuss and less like Caberfae and Boyne in terms of layout and spread.
Luious H.
Rooms are well kept and very nice
Alex C.
Great location right by the mountain and ski rental areas. Very nice for a decent weekend skiing.
Ken R.
Beautiful setting, fun family time skiing.
Lois K.
Great friendly staff!!!
Otho D.
Went here to ski for the day. Prices are fantastic, it was $50 for a pass, skis, and boots for the day (usually I believe it's $64, still very cheap). The mountain and lifts are all in good shape and we'll maintained. The food area is overpriced and absolutely gross, but that's to be expected, it's more for quick snacks coming off the mountain. My girlfriend got injured while we were here and the staff and ski patrol we're courteous, professional, and helpful with making sure she had everything she needed to be okay. The only downside to this place is that it's wildly unorganized. I saw several people getting on lifts without passes (they don't scan or even check). The inside of the store and restaurant is crowded, no lines, items are scattered throughout, again saw a lot of people stealing food without issue. lastly the lines for ski lifts were the worst part.they weren't long, but they were atrocious. People stand around in the 'Slow down' area, some are skiers/snowboarders, some are just people walking around (this is what caused the accident my girlfriend was in). The lines have no attendant watching and guiding the flow, leading to a lot of confusion, a lot of people getting split up on accident, and a lot of line cutting. One guy literally jumped right in front of my girlfriends mother as she was about to get into the loading area, stealing her spot on our lift. There are also many people who will literally stand in line and wait there, just in peoples way, not actively pursuing getting onto a lift at all. We also had a confrontation with some more from Florida who apparently doesn't know how ski pickup/drop off zones work, but that wasn't the resorts fault. All in all this isn't going to be on the same level as resorts in Colorado, California, New Mexico, etc. But we had a blast and will absolutely return when we come back to visit.
Jesse S.
Crystal is always a great place to go skiing
Jake S.
Went to ski and had a great day!
Dennis L.
Amazing time spent with the family on Christmas day skiing...weather was perfect, lifts were running, plenty of snow...and just a beautiful resort in northern Michigan.
Ron H.
We came up for a 3 night stay over Christmas break, and were blown away by all of the activities and amenities offered. Our first night we did a horse drawn surrey ride and sat by the outdoor firepits. Most of the cottages and rentals are right in the heart of the village, so you are not far from the restaurant, market, and lift access. Overall we were highly pleased with our experience at Crystal Mountain, and would love to come back again.
Adam G.
Crystal Mountain is such a beautiful multi-season resort! We went up there to go skiing (my first time) and it was a blast! Their ski lessons are top notch and their instructors (thank you Jodi!) and so nice and knowledgeable about how to show you the basics. We are already planning another trip back back to ski and check out their spa as well!
Dave L.
Decent runs and lifts, variety of (expensive) food choices. Facilities acceptably maintained. Nothing stellar but nothing bad either.
Sierra B.
Great place to ski, and eat. All of the employees are extremely nice and the good is amazing. Best ski resort around!
Derek R.
Slopes are great. Lots of runs to choose from for every skill level.
Tim S.
If I could find this place 10 stars I would. My family and I absolutely love this place, the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The skiing is great! Highly recommend.
Peter Mcleod (.
Not too bad of a mountain, closed some runs too early, caberfae or shanty are closer and more enjoyable in my opinion
Ethan F.
Love skiing here
Im D.
We stayed here during the peak 2 peak mountain bike race. Charged our Tesla in their charging area. It’s like a little village with shops and condos. Our room was nice, the bathroom was to die for. The bed was small and there was an outdoor light that shined through the blinds all night, and it sounded like people coming through the walls when they went up and down stairs outside our room, but all and all very nice.
Orv B.
Went the week before Christmas. Nice mountain and Fast chairlifts
Nicole B.
Crystal mountain is such a great place to spend anywhere from an hour to a week or more at. My family has a Thanksgiving tradition here and we just love the buffet spread that is there along with all the staff that joins us for Thanksgiving day! The ski slopes open around Thanksgiving and those are great fun. They have a bunny hill and then a regular track to ski down. They have a ton of rental cottages and seems like a lot of fun activities for all seasons. If your out this way, take a look around, enjoy some food or just the scenery!
William S.
Prices on everything there are a little much especially if you are staying there. However the service is good.
Len P.
The grooming was perfect & the snow was outstanding for this early in the season! The ski patrol was on the hill keeping things in control!!
Mandy H.
Amazing accommodations, beautiful resort, lots of options on site. We didn't want to leave but needed to.
Brian Z.
We had a blast skiing!

Was a great experience. Room was clean and spacious. Each trail was well groomed with lots of options for skill level

Great family atmosphere, fun ski runs and not super crowded
Paul S.
Quaint little village. Nice hearth to sit by in the welcome center
Matt M.
A great organization. Giving you an experience of Northern Michigan hospitality with endless recreation or relaxation. I've worked with them as contractor as of late, and as a customer for many years prior. This has allowed me to see how much effort goes into them providing the best experience for us as possible. I am so glad this is close to home for my family as well as my business. Even better that I could contribute to the experience they strive to provide with a one of kind FIRE PIT. ENJOY!! We sure do!
Mitchell H.
I went on a day when there was a really good deal. There were a lot of people but all the lifts move quickly and lifts on the rear face we're not crowded at all. I was still able to get a lots of runs in.
Mnk S.
I absolutely love snowboarding here! It is so much fun to go down their black diamonds. I haven't had a change to eat at the lodge yet, but last year it was great food and nice and warm.
Ray J.
Fun place to get away for the weekend.
Christopher James B.
Great Idea .

Great resort...take the family skiing and enjoy a good meal. Fun times year round.
Bri A.
The best resort in Michigan! I love here. The slopes are fantastic, and there’s so many sides to the mountain it feels like it’s a lot bigger than it is. Great food and lodging. Hotels are clean and the shops are decently priced for a ski lodge. If you’re questioning a trip here- do it!!
Christopher B.
Clean pleasant and friendly.
John L.
Very good. Pricy...

The best place to ski in Michigan!

Went to the pool. My girlfriend has a gym membership there so she got in for free and I got a discount.

Attended an event here. Had a wonderful time.

Very nice ski resort. Had a great time!

Open through out the year and makes for some amazing views from the top of the mountain. Take the gondola ride to the top any time of the year for some mesmerizing views of cascades on one side & Mt Rainier on the other. On a clear day you can witness Mt Baker too. Bring good binoculars for enjoy scenery. There’s a trail on the mountain top for some lovely views.
Randy J.
Such a great family friendly resort, beautiful atmosphere!
Kimberly T.
We stayed in the Wintergreen Condos. It was beautiful and spacious. I attended a conference and the space was nice and all of the food was good.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Saltwater pool, hot tub, great room. We're planning on going back for a honeymoon visit. Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities summer or winter.
Matthew S.
Very fun to stay at!
James S.
As a seasons pass holder I am biased, but many share my opinion that Crystal is the best downhill ski area in the state. You can ski all day and not ski the same run twice. Multiple backcountry areas satisfy the hardiest hiker-skier in search of uncut. And the view of Mt. Rainier, 11 miles away, is glorious. Downsides: lodging and nightlife are limited, and the weather is often dodgy. But legions of day-trippers swear by Crystal.
Sarah B.
Reasonable prices and room was pretty big.
Brett R.
Skied at Crystal opening weekeend with my family. The rental staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter had a fall, in which she hurt her wrist, the ski patrol was quick to respond and administered 1st aid. The ski instructors and lift operators that we encountered were very friendly and helpful, We all look forward to return to ski again.
Eric R.
Our family loves this place!

Room 111 was amazing! Had a beautiful view and we were right next to the marriage retreat Hall for the seventh day Adventist marriage retreat.

Great family activities.

They have a really nice gym and pool
Tony H.
Great resort with amazing views and easy rental process. 1 star off for not as much variety of slopes as nubs knob or caberfae. Also drinks and food are ridiculously upcharged. Overall, I would recommend this resort.
Wendy R.
Good food, lots of people.
Davy J.
Crystal Mountain ski area is located next to Mt. Rainier National Park in the Cascade Range of Washington, less than two hours from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Crystal Mountain offers 2,600 acres of accessible terrain (2,300 acres of which are lift served). Skiers and riders will find everything from relaxed groomers to challenging advanced terrain. Expansive backcountry parallels the open boundary policy for experts. 11 lifts service Crystal Mountain’s 486 inches of average annual snowfall. Crystal Mountain has a summit elevation of 6,872 feet, delivering 3,100 feet of vertical. The winter season usually runs from Thanksgiving to mid-April. This year-round resort offers a number of summer activities as well, including disc golf, scenic gondola rides, hiking, horseback rides, mountain biking and mountain yoga. Give a Like to inspire..????

Its an appealing picture of whats close to heaven on earth

Simply the best getaway in Michigan. Been going there 25 years. Watched it expand. Golf. Ski. Summer cottages are unequaled anywhere. Truly a gem.

The summertime sledding in the slides is amazing family fun. Do this at least once!
Ethan B.
This is like a ski resort out of a movie!

Crystal is it's own little village. Great accommodations, great culture and great skiing
Marty S.
Just a drive bye to see if anything's happening. Slopes are covered with snow if weather trend continues we should be skiing Thanksgiving weekend.

Love the resort, hate the food during our training days.

The staff were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The accommodations were clean, well furnished, and larger than comparable lodging. I like that Sleeping Bear Dunes is just a short drive away. My family had a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely be returning.
Jennifer P.
What a great place. Hidden away in Michigan but has everything you could want for a weekend great away or a week get away with family and friends. They have trails, biking, along with other activities I ended up there for a conference. I had some doubts when I was told there was no elevator in our unit. But it was fun to watch my husband get my luggage up the three flights of stairs to the room. The room was very spacious and clean. Our conference was located in a really nice building. I will say wherever your at on the property the staff are extremely helpful and professional. But they take the time to make you feel at home. I hope to go back and glad I went.

By far the best room on our explore-Michigan trip. We stayed in the new rooms connected to the main lobby. The slope-view rooms are a little less than private, but the other side had good views of the fall foliage and the street.
Ryan M.
Crystal is a great place and has an awesome atmosphere. We visited for the Peak to Peak mountain bike race. Very fun!
Amy R.
This resort is clean and quaint, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful
Adam D.
Very High End resort. Beautifully decorated and a style carried throughout.

Attended a wedding on the mountain. The event was awesome. Stayed at one of the cottages, way beyond expectations.
Mike T.
Great place to get lost in and enjoy the quiet. Great for golf and skiing too
Marsha E.
Awesome place to find your reset button!
Tina Z.
Friendly helpful staff and a beautiful location
Mike J.
The Pinehurst condos were very spacious with easy access to traverse City, Frankfort and wineries. The room was well furnished with nice furniture and most of the comfort of home including a kitchen with pots, plates, silverware, a full stove and refrigerator. The gas fireplace was very charming as well.
D W.
A wonderland.
Nick W.
Beautiful views and excellent service. The golf course is well maintained. The cabins are a great size and are super comfortable.
Donnie T.
Great Resort to visit!
Heather S.
The fall colors are incredible! Could not ask for a better view from my room. There are plenty of family-oriented activities and a couple of fun bars for the adults.
T K.
It is awesome up here and the hospitality is exceptional. I can't wait to return again. Consider this place for a family vacation and I guarantee you that you will not regret it.
Kathryn D.
Crystal Mountain was a beautiful place to stop on our Lake Michigan Circle Tour. We were in off season so it was fairly quiet. Our room was a bit dated but had a full kitchen and gas fireplace. The morning before heading out we hiked the Legacy Art Park. This is not your standard outdoor art walk and is quiet a steep hilly climb best suited to avid hikers (children and those with knee issues should avoid it). Pokemon Go players will also enjoy the many stops and gyms in the resort.
Justin H.
Great service friendly employees
Melissa P.
Rental homes were awesome! Clean and great views! It was a great family vacation that just may become a new tradition!
Trevor
I was there for a wedding in the art park. There was transportation every where drivers were all great. Dinner was wonderful, everything was beautifuly set up. The staff was wonderful they were all hustleing taking care of us all refilling waters taking empty plates and it was like they weren't even there. all in all every worker I came into contact with was pleasant and helpful. Everything is kept clean.
Christopher S.
Crystal Mountain was great! Very fun golf and the resort is close to many fun things to do.
Nick P.
Rooms are clean and big with plenty of room. Very nice.
Mia B.
it is where I skied at since 2
Malachi F.
Went for a trade show, great job hosting this large event. Large Hall for booths and good food for lunch.
Jeremy J.
Will never stay here again! Hamlet Rooms overlook The Lodge back patio. You can see the reception tent if you click on Satellite View in Google Maps. Crystal books wedding receptions with very loud music. Music doesn't stop until 11. The music is literally booming over 90 decibels in our room. Couldn't hear the TV. We couldn't talk in our room. Complained to front desk and they didn't care. Said that hotels all around the world have loud rooms and quiet enjoyment of a room is not something you pay for in the rate. Seriously! They said this. Front Desk night manager then proceeded to ask for twenty dollars to move to a quieter room. Ridiculous customer service!!!!!! Crystal should have blocked those rooms off for the wedding party or never have rented the room. They should have warned us of the wedding reception before arrival. We could have made a choice to stay or not. After the music stopped and the sun rose, the day manger, Jamie, called our room to apologize for the loud music from the reception. She also offered us a free breakfast at the Tomato Kitchen. The bill was close to $50 (without tip) for our party of three. Can't believe they were willing to comp us a free breakfast, but wouldn't move us to a quieter room.

Beautiful Scenery A1 Customer Service

Very nice place
Mary Alice S.
Great customer service throughout the resort.
John J.
It was wonderful!! The room was stayed in was very clean and up kept. The food was delicious. The workers who helped us were all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. They have a 24 hour shuttle that is very convenient. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone!
Ken G.
Took the Alpine Slide for a few rides and walked through the art park. Great day!
Chelsea C.
Were there for a wedding. Pretty accommodating, beautiful views, had a great time!
Dwdayton
Beautiful and relaxing. A lot of possible activities
Philip B.
Lot's of fun activities and great service.
Elliott G.
The entire location is fantastic and beautiful.
Talha R.
Great location, I stayed in a Hamlet room. Went there for a conference. I would love to go back and do some of the activities they had on site including mountain biking, coaster track ride down the mountain, archery lessons, and of course the winter stuff like skiing.
Jill H.
Was her for the Taylor wedding tonight. Great service
Kenny L.
Had a great time at my buddy Griff's wedding! I hope someday if I meet the right girl I can get married there!
Kalynne P.
I like the new mountain market
Benjamin Z.
Officiated a wedding here, great place and the staff is amazing. They accommodated everything the bride and groom needed for their perfect wedding.
Nate M.
The rooms were nice and very clean. The entire complex was very clean. The golf courses were well taken care off. The workers were friendly, I had no issues at all. I didn't use many of the amenities but what I did use was nice other then the pool table in the basement could use some better cues. Overall would love to go back!
Woo C.
Great golf at the mountain. Exceptional upkeep of greens.
Tyler C.
This place is very fun and family friendly. The only experience that I have is the slide, but we've done it multiple times and will continue to do it.
Bradley S.
Had a good time, everyone had fun, a bunch of real friendly people there, be glad to go back.
Michael H.
The golf courses we're excellent condition and very nice to play. There was many things to do for kids like archery lessons and a big down hill slide, wall climbing and zip lining. The views from the top of the ski hills were gorgeous. Staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were clean, but coloring was out dated. All in all, it was a great 1st experience there, I would definitely go back.
Aaron W.
Pretty good downhill bike trails. They are fairly short, but the chair lift ride is also short, which means you can do lots of runs fast and really work on your skills. Everyone running the bike tent, chairlift and adventure center were super nice and friendly.
Donald N.
Location is very walking friendly and fully accessable.
Vilas P.
Place is beautiful and great, and the view of mt Reiner is even better !

Go to Boyne. You'll enjoy yourself more and pay the same price. Watch out for Sally, the beverage cart woman. She will inspect your cart vigourosly looking for coolers. We didn't even have outside alcohol and she still warned us multiple times, telling us it wasn't allowed despite the fact that my cart alone spent more than 100 dollars with her over the weekend. I was in a group of 20 people.
James M.
2 great golf courses and the mountainside condos were a convenient and perfect place to stay
Jessie L.
My Dad insisted on taking us to the Alpine Slides, and my boys absolutely loved it!! My boys are 3 and 7 who were born and raised in Florida, so this was a special treat. Definitely something to do with your kids on vacation for a special memory!!!
Joseph S.
We go almost every year and it is a perfect weekend except this year the staff seemed to not know the special 2 for 1 on labor day and basic questions like when things opened. It may be due to staff going back to School. Hotels ate great and do much to do for the kids.
Sharon F.
Pretty nice everything
Dave D.
My family has been going to Crystal Mountain for five years straight. We absolutely love Crystal Mountain! It's amazing that there is so much to do!
Rob T.
Outstanding accomodations and great golf courses!
Nitin G.
Worth it!
Mom R.
Great pool (both indoor and outdoor), the slide is terrific and kids really enjoyed the adventure course. However, this place is extremely overpriced for the quality of accommodations they offer. The cleanliness is non existent. There was hair in the shower, the shower curtain had brown poop like stains on it, the bed and all furniture was extremely dusted and I doubt they ever get cleaned. Bedding was clean, but blankets obviously have not been washed in a while. Air conditioning was available, but hardly working. I would not return.
Dylan P.
Nice
Wendy
Room was excellent. Staff was courteous.
Matthew T.
Fun, fun, fun our kids had a blast!
Houtan N.
Excellent place and the rooms are very well equipped and homely. Felt very comfortable and well received. Only issue is with the check-in time of 5pm. It was unclear why there was a late check-in with checkout is 11am. Do they really need 6 hours to tidy up the place. Very poor execution and this place would deserve 5 star if it can reduce check in time.
Meredith S.
We hiked up and took the gondola down. Gorgeous. Note: BRING BUGSPRAY! There were so many flies at the beginning of our hike up it was terrible. Every time I stopped I had a swarm around me. Totally worth it for the gorgeous views up though. Would highly recommend this hike!
Aj J.
Great place for adults and kids. Great views, lots fun and things to do, pools, outdoor games and activities. Traverse City is just about 50 minutes north of Crystal Mountain resort. The only downside is that rooms at Hamlet and Crystal Colony are somewhat outdated, bathrooms and carpets as well as beds are in need of restoration, at roughly $200 a night I'd expect more than that. Still, love the place.
Joel C.
I'm a very enjoyable time and Crystal Mountain Resort. We rented a condo which was very close to the pool. We could walk to the wedding we are attending at main office. We could also walk to the swimming pool which was very nice. Swimming pool has several different sections including a deep end, a place to play volleyball, and a small playground with a slide. Off to the side of the pool area is a giant sandbox for children. Crystal Mountain also has an Alpine Slide during the summer what you can buy tickets for at the ski Shack, take a ski lift to the top of the mountain, and slide down.
Niko S.
Awesome place for golf and up north activities!
Anthony G.
Alpine slide was really neat, had no idea the number of off season things to do they had, very cool!
Logan O.
Well supplied, clean, accommodating
Maggie H.
Love it
Juandel B.
Accommodations were outstanding... Felt like a home away from home... Grounds very well kept... Staff and services were top notch... Will definitely return
Danyell M.
Accommodations were great. Awesome experience

Kyle H.
Had a blast at the Family friendly waterpark!
Mark B.
Great greens well maibtained
Dan W.
The staff are always friendly and the food is great!
Melissa F.
A very difficult hike...for me...but you are surrounded by beautiful trees. Friendly chipmunks...yup..I fed one. So cute. The next day I was crippled from the hike down a VERY steep mountain. I'm still a beginner when it comes to hiking. Experienced hikers will really enjoy it. That's why I gave it 5 stars????
Barrett R.
Great condos, but my family wanted to be near each other. Also, why aren't they available until 5?
Scott B.
Top notch in every way!
Mike M.
The attention to detail in making your stay as nice as possible it what this resistors best
Shane F.
Friendly staff and awesome employees how much could we asked for. It is a great place to come for vacation in the Summer. :)
Organic M.
Alpine slides are so much fun the line takes a little time to get down.
Jamie H.
Front desk staff was not very friendly and did not direct us on what was included in our stay. We stayed in the condos and the water was cold for our showers and baths. We paid for a family fun pass only to find out that certain things we could only do during certain times. Also, other items such as paintball, laser tag, archery which we were excited to do... well they only book 12 people per day so we weren’t able to do that either. Seemed like we wasted a lot of money for a sub par vacation. Kids missed out on a lot they were looking forward to doing.
Brad D.
Crystal Mountain is very expensive. The bottled water is $2.75 a bottle. The rooms look like they are from the early 90’s. The furniture and beds are worn out. The Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms. Very expensive for what is supposed to be a “premium” resort. I don’t think I will be back.
Drew P.
Chrystal was great! Room was clean and remodeled and the staff was accommodating and helped us get in early so we could get ready for a wedding.
Double T.
Alpine slide! Up the ski lift and down the slide! Fun ride!
Mladen S.
Beautiful place for family vacation

Yuppi Ville. Expensive but nice
Maria N.
Very nice and clean rooms. We had so much fun, a lot for kids and adults.
Mona W.
Go there every year to enjoy a day of activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommoned it to everyone.
David T.
Good golf
Rick L.
We did the gondola to the top and ate at the restaurant. Service was great, food was good. Vistas are stunning. A good trip with out of town visitors or to remind yourself why you live here in the PNW. Not something you need to do every year- but we will come back..
Yama R.
Beautiful, serene, wonderful, come visit Crystal Mountain
Joe M.
Amazing all around!!
Kaylie H.
We attended a wedding at Crystal Mountain. It had spectacular views and was a lovely venue. The outdoor tent was private and the food was outstanding! Jody and Mary were very fun and responsible behind the bar. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding.
Andy K.
It's a great place for doing stuff outside and a great location. Great place to stay!
Daniel R.
It was a good time.
Jacob R.
Rode the slide it was great
Kurt C.
Two fun golf courses
Melissa N.
We did the luge slide and it was fun! $9 a person. Worth the stop!
B K.
Over priced, over hyped, we had a very bad experience and we paid top dollar for it. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. Ripped off and very bad experience. Spend you money somewhere else. save yourself and your family the headache. I wrote a long review that details the issues but it was too long and I could not post it.
Robby N.

Mother daughter weekend before I went back to school. The food is expensive but we thought all tastes good. The spa services (massage/mani/pedi) were amazing and all of the staff here is super friendly and helpful. We had trouble with the card reader and getting back into our room every day which is why 4 stars. Did the archery and slide activities which were a blast. If you're going to do the art walk, fair warning, the trails total 2 miles which would be alright except for all of it is hills. If you're not so steady on your feet (like my mom) I recommend doing the first loop only.
Rebecca A.
Amazing family vacay....with 6 adults including pregnant mom and 3 yr old!
Jack F.
Rooms, fitness center, paintball, and breakfast was all great.
Justin C.
Nice area
K R.
We have a seasonal place in Michigan and visit every month. We did the Thanksgiving buffet in 2017 and got there early to watch football. We had drinks and appetizers at Thistle Pub & Grill before hand. We stopped in again this past weekend for lunch and it was yum! The Thistle fries are awesome, and our 4 year old daughter loves them too! We had burgers and they were delicious! The staff is friendly and we will be back for sure!
Mike B.

Beautiful place! Great facilities. Lots of great activities.
Michael M.
The place is great however they do up charge a lot
Christian H.
Beautiful. Great place. Lots to do. Way the hell up there, but worth the road trip. Will be back.
William K.
My grandparents own a lot nearby, and the time we spend as a family is always enjoyable. There is always plenty to do, and nice places to see and visit. With the nearby free beaches, there are even alternatives many times to paid activities offered by the resort.
John S.
Fun alpine slide!
Lindsey L.
Great place to stay! The staff is amazing!!
Tara R.
My daughter and I enjoyed a fantastic getaway, staying two nights. We bought the family fun package and made good use of it. The grounds here are exceptionally beautiful and the grounds are kept very clean. We received great service, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Jeremy S.
Alpine slide was awesome. We took our kids there for my sons 5th birthday and they could only do the slide and rock wall but still had a blast.
A Google U.
Nice! We had pizza at their cafe one of the best meals I had that week!
Bryan H.
We did the Alpine Slide and absolutely loved it. It's a little bit pricey for what it is, but it was a great time. Highly recommend
Mike C.
If you're in the mood for swimming, zip lining, rock climbing, biking, alpine sliding, eating, drinking, crafts, tennis and golf then you may want to check this place out.
Michael B.
Fabulous
Rick B.
Was a lot of fun riding the bobsled ride. There seemed more to do but we really didn't plan the trip well and time w as s short
Tomlin M.
I just stopped by to catch up with friends and grab a coffee. Atmosphere is great and relaxed.
Meg M.
We went for yhe Alpine Slide. It was totally worth the $9. Fun and just long enough with great views!
Chris
The summer attractions are for kids.

Great pool for families, Alpine slide was loved by all!!
Bryan Van D.
Beautiful accommodations. Lots of activities. Was there for a conference but I could see bringing the family up for a couple of days. Nothing better than northern Michigan summers. Food was only ok, hence the 4 stars.
Joel R.
Nice place. Things for everyone.
Jason H.
We went for the Alpine slide but it was closed due to rain
Barbara B.
Work summer party in conference room

Toured the event spaces looking for a wedding venue. Nothing special here.

Richard B.
Lots of fun wish I had planned better to spend more time
Gamerz U.
good song
Earl S.
This was a lot of fun. Kids and adults went down the alpine slide and on the adventure course.
Susan T.
Nice facility but beware of website reservations. Booked a golf package but golf not included. ???? Then after telling housekeeping about pet, got scolded by phone and charged extra for not calling them about having a pet. We are not mind readers, it was a pet friendly area and there were no questions asked about it during online booking. It was a pricey weekend to be treated so poorly. ????
Andy
Nice
Jonathan S.
I would give them 6 stars if I could because they have Tesla destination chargers and other EV chargers.
Jason E.
Resort includes very little as part of any package. Most services cost extra including having more than one person in a room even when registering for more than one bed. The water park was nice for the kids. Still would be hesitant to spend my money there again. Can get better value at other locations.
Rhonda M.
Very nice
Jif S.

Always love going to Crystal Mountain! The staff has always been kind and the amenities are great! It can get pricey but it's sort if expected for an all inclusive resort.
Daniel T.
Staff were very friendly. Rooms and conference rooms were clean and ready for guests and classes.
Chuck E.
Disappointing. They make things doing better than they are
The Noble H.
Way to expensive
Griffin H.
Rooms are pretty nice and lots to do at the resort for family.
Sid S.
Lovely views of Rainier from the mountain top restaurant that you can reach via the awesome gondola ride. The restaurant is pretty decent and has options for nice beers as well.
Toni A.
My family decided to go to Crystal Mountain for the day to check out the Alpine slide. The slide was rather disappointing. My sister got stuck and workers had to come help her more than once. I got stuck too, but was able to push myself out. My nephews and I did have a great time with the ropes course/zip line.
Joseph A.
Did the alpine luge. They were really slow and some people in our party got stuck half way.
Lonny C.
What a fun place to stay. Everyone here is always so nice!
Deborah Z.
Beautiful resort, housekeeping staff in the Hamlet building was phenomenal. I was at a conference, food was good. When purchasing food on our own, very expensive
Derrick R.
Great golf!
Wesley W.
Fun celebrating the 4th of July with music and fireworks!
Kathy H.
Very nice. Great golf.
Jenna M.
Loved it, we stayed in the Hamlet and it was beautiful! Perfect for summer.
Amber Z.
Expect to wait an hour or more just to ride the Crystal Coaster. What a waste of time. Someone needs to figure out a better system. Shouldn't have to wait this long. Won't be doing this ever again even if it was offered to me for free.
Brandon C.
The farther you get from the mountain store the more the prices retreat back to around retail price. Archers country store has any beer wine and liquor you may want at nearly half the price you'd pay there. Drive the extra mile down Lindy rd(road straight across from main entrance on m115)drive till the blinking red light at the 4way stop turn right and it's the Robin egg blue steel building with flashing arrow sign out front.
Jason T.
Fun place to stay. Definitely enjoyed the alpine slides
Stacey T.
Enjoying the summer activities and the kids love it! Obit thing is just about everything is and extra charge to do.
Mary H.
Attended the 4th of July social on the 3rd. 2nd year in a row.great time beautiful facility.
Stephanie Sage C.
I went with my family and it was a beautiful experience. Great service, clean rooms and lots to do.
Rev. Joshua G.
A true resort where everyone knows your name. Such a great family centered place that bends over backwards to make sure you're taken care of. Very accommodating. Greg, Justin and Matt are 3 people just to name a few that make sure you feel like family. The whole staff is wonderful! We became members 2 yrs ago and tell everyone we can about Crystal!
Nick B.
Very fun, but expensive. Fireworks went off before dusk. But a great time.
Joanna D.
Beautiful area to visit. There are alot of summer activities for guests and non guests to enjoy admission free.
The D.
A favorite since I was a kid, now my kid loves it!
Casey H.

Gabbie N.
Great staff, wonderful resort!
Frank H.
Great resort
Eni T.
It was simply amazing! $24/person for the round-trip ride up the mountain on the gandola. Hiking trails at the top. We arrived late, about 4pm, the last ride down is at 5:30pm. Absolutely unbeatable views here! Chilly, but sunny today! Perfect! Plenty of Restrooms and clean. Not sure if it was because we arrived later in the day or what, but it was almost a ghost town here, parked right up by the entry way. Nice restaurant/lounge up top, with a fantastic outdoor seating area to gaze at the beautiful view while you dine or have a drink.
Shadow L.
Had lots of family fun with grandkids ??
Helen S.
We booked a room for a wedding this weekend and while the whole facility is gorgeous, there were some things that were sub par. The service between the front desk and the restaurant was completely underwhelming. In our room, the Keurig didn’t work so they had to bring us a new one, not a big deal at all. The thermostat is broken so our room was extremely warm the whole time. They have stopped using fitted sheets on the bed so the sheet kept coming off and we basically slept on the bare mattress the two nights, which to me is entirely disgusting. Overall it was okay and the facility and amenities are beautiful
Alexandria H.
Great place relax and unwind, but pricey! I've only gone there for a work events. But the staff are great and very hospitable. Their also very friendly and great at accommodating gluten free and dietary needs. The pools are a decent tempature and the hot tub is awesome. Unfortunately I haven't experienced any of the other activities on the resort but they look good.
Erin W.
Went on the Alpine Slide and it was fun for adults and kids alike. 4/5 stars because twice our group members got carts that didn't roll well and got stuck on the track.
Michael S.
Always a nice weekend getaway
Andy K.
Event space was cramped and dark, lunch service ran out before guests finished. Space was clean though.
John P.
Was there for a work outing so I have no idea of cost, but man every aspect of this place is gorgeous!
Aaron O.
It was awesome. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Turtle Hero V.
Amazing place to go!
April E.
Loved it!
Susan Z.
The Alpine ride was an absolute blast for this old Gal
Prakash Y.
View is so good. It was very unbelievable. We took the gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Ride was smooth and safe. There is one restaurant on the top but it was hard to get a table. You can see a lot of people skying down from the hill. Gondola ride is very affordable too. This place has a lot of parking place and parking is free too. You must visit this place once. Try to go in winter time.
Beth C.
All workers were super friendly! All but 1 desk attendant was very helpful! I had no idea the resort had so much to offer. I'm planning a trip back!
Santy L.
It is a beautiful place during the winter, to enjoy.
Andreas H.
A pretty cool hotel and lodge with a bunch of stuff to do.

Good golf and a lovely barmaid at the clubhouse bar.
Mary Jo B.
Crystal Mountain always provides a great place to stay. I've stayed in the hotel, the condos and the townhousea. All of them have been great. There's lots to do at the resort and restaurants less than 30 minutes away.
Hesham Z.
Cute family friendly getaway
Brian C.
Staff that is all about Customer service. If you want to feel welcomed this is the place for you!
Brian E.
Fantastic! So many things to do!
A W.
Not many food options, but if you get a place with a kitchen you can purchase food at the Mountain Market in the Inn if you would like to cook. There are activities, but get pricey for larger families, but there are some free activities. The Alpine slide is great.
Jacob S.
We did the alpine slide it was fun
Irving S.
It's a great place
Allen C.
Had a great weekend here, everything is very convenient. Restaurant was very good too.
Brett S.

Rahul C.
Beautiful resort and fantastic facility
Penelope P.
Very nice, well kept, and friendly.
Lisa E.
Crystal Mountain is an amazing place to atay and play. There is something for everyone. From championship golf courses, Michigan's only alpine slide (fun even as an adult) to outdoor water playground. Some of the best skiing both downhill and cross country on the midwest! Not to mention the staff is outstanding they truly are there to make the guest experience GREAT! Go there once and you will continue to go back time and time again!
Tom D.
New rooms at the lodge are great!
Thompson G.
Amazing place for a nice getaway. Alpine ride was the best.
Ray S.
Great place! Just wish they were more friendlier. Has changed a lot since I was a kid.
Matthew S.
We stayed in the mountain ridge condo. The unit was all updated amenities and great sitting area both inside and on the porch which overlooked the 17th fairway. Plenty of space in each room and we had a great time. Golf courses here are in absolute great shape and both courses have some difficult holes but all the while still being very playable. Our group played both courses multiple times and we'll be back next year to enjoy them again. The staff was great for resolution of our issues and even finding a lost item for us. The bar didn't serve food after 8pm when we came in from golfing so that was a bummer, but we enjoyed our weekend at Crystal Mountain.
Gary O.
We go every year. Love it

Attended the annual beer and brat festival. Grounds were well maintained and staff/volunteers were polite.
Wade B.
Food was solid, I had the burger. Service was very slow - we were on the patio, and our waitress seemed very new.
Tyler W.
Great festival with great people
J Skrobot (.
We come to play golf on the mountain ridge and betsie valley courses every memorial day and the courses are always in great condition - play is a little slower since there are a lot of families out here around this time. There have been a ton of new additions to the resort over the years, including a new outdoor water park and a market to buy food, drinks, and other needs. I would recommend coming to crystal mountain for the great service and views.
Ryan T.
Went for the day to the annual Beer and Brat Fest. The weather was great and we had a blast.

Been going to Crystal mountain for 35 years hope to go another 35

Good runs, clean, very nice. Runs were really beat up on Saturday evening, but groomed well on Sunday morning. Closes really early... 7 pm on a Saturday evening - which really is too early.. Nice place if you plan around the crowds and restrictive hours
Shelly N.
Very nice place.
Beth Van P.
Was nice and relaxing, the gal who did my massage really knew we she was doing superb

Great skiing for the last couple weekends of the season
Mark W.
Fun place! We got a day pass in he summer which gives access to the Alpine slide, pool, adventure ropes course and climbing walls. The kids had a lot of fun and the employees are really friendly. Take it slow on the curves on the Alpine slide!
Adam J.
Amazing place. Very friendly staff and well maintained park.

They have the most beautiful slopes and they also have amazing rooms for families of all sizes. Their food is phenomenal and they have very fast room services.
Ellen H.
Excellent buffet for Easter
Glenn P.
Very nice!!
Alex B.
Good terrain, good snow, great hiking terrain, but often way too busy on weekends. I was once in a 6 mile backup just before the parking lots. Its a bit pricey for a mountain that only rises up 7,000 feet and has a short vertical drop. I avoid unless it is a weekday with good powder.
Heidi G.
We came up for a restful and peaceful mini-break and were absolutely amazed at the accommodations we ended up with. They don't accurately describe everything you get - maybe on purpose. Such a beautiful space to stay in. Staff here are so helpful and respectful. We will be returning.
Damion B.
Very nice resort
Garret L.
Great variety in runs and perfect boarding with fresh powder
Ehren D.
There are a lot of great things about this resort but I had two problems on my last visit: - There is a tool table for people to adjust their gear which is great, but almost all of the screw drivers have broken heads. I needed a functional screw driver to fix my binding and I was SOL. - I asked for "A day of ski lessons" for my daughter. The guy at the register booked a half day for some reason. So after lunch there was no ski coach there for her. So I took her out, which meant I didn't get those two hours of skiing to myself.
Charles P.
Wonderful hiking trails with art. A few good long board hills nearby.
Forest C.
Really great place, has some amazing skiing

Love, love this place....we always have so much fun when we go!
Jim D.
Plenty of snow left on the slopes. Conditions really started falling off around 11:30am. Lift operators were super happy. Would have gone again today if I didn't have other things to do.
Allison M.
Definetly the BEST place my family and I have ever skied at!!!
Sean T.
I haven't skied here since 2002. They did a lot of work and there are many more runs. Excellent Ski Resort.
Clara M.
We had an amazing three days and two nights here! Everything was perfect, from our room, to my work Confrence, pool, spa, restaurants and activities, we can not wait to go back!
Katie M.
It is pretty, but expensive. They really have taken their focus off skiing and are concentrating more on their spa and restaurant I think. Little Caber Fe is a much better skiing atmosphere, better priced, but isn't as polished off a resort.
George J F.
Friendly lift operators. Runs were well maintained.
Peter L.
Wonderful skiing opportunities for all skill levels friendly and helpful staff. Good food and atmosphere. Little expensive compared to other local resorts but worth the bit extra for what you get.
Steve K.
Lots of runs to try.
Randa S.
The ski resort refers you to condos at the base of the ski area for accommodations. However, those condo's are denying my husband accommodation because he has a registered service animal. Then the ski resort claims they have nothing to do with the condos. Don't refer your customers to other businesses you don't have legal practices. It is a poor reflection of your own business.
S L.
Family friendly, gentle slopes, friendly staff, nice facilities. Buy tickets online in advance! Ev charge stations available. You can plug in a crock pot upstairs about the rental area. Good wifi, too.
Bridget H.
The skiing/snowboarding is great. They have many trails to choose from for all levels and alot of lifts. Truly enjoyed my time on the slopes. We happened to be there during their spring fling. The Slush cup is so fun to watch. Definitely coming back.
Steve D.
Lots of runs. Short or no lift lines. Lots of fun.
Morgan S.

Matt C.
Very nice family friendly ski resort. Lots of fun things going on both on the property and nearby.

A great ski resort in Michigan! Can never go wrong with Crystal. Great food, great runs, and a beautiful area. Affordable day passes and they offer cross country skiing as well. Their XC runs are very scenic. A lot of runs to ski so it never gets old. I go at least once a year!

Great for the kids. I highly recommend the awesome ski instruction for the kids. Staff is always welcoming and professional. We love the family fun Crystal provides year in and year out.
Alex C.
An incredible resort not too far of a drive from metro-Detroit, but a world away! Cannot recommend enough the Thistle Bar and Grill. Great food, great beers and an extremely cozy/charming atmosphere.
Jason R.
All employees I came in contact with were super nice and happy to help me out. The rooms were nice and clean. If course the skiing was great considering the warm weather we had. Overall I would recommend Crystal.
Brent Y.
First off it's a hill not a mountain. Second, If you're rich ignore the one star, you'll love this snood-fest. Worked here for years, they have charging ports for Tesla's but no employee break rooms. Pull up by the dumpsters and you'll see all the locals who work here on break. Making just above minimum wage, with no benefits, working a seasonal job. Also after working here 4+ years I needed to pull over and sleep one night on a road trip. I stopped at Crystal mountain and pulled into one of the parking lots. The mountain was dead and I was not disturbing anyone. After about ten min a security vehicle pulls up behind me and starts flashing his lights. I wave and say hi. He acts like he wants me to leave. Eventually he made me leave and followed me off property. I had to go to the casino in manistee where security is much more lenient they let me sleep for the night and be on my way. I will never recommend Crystal hill to anyone.
Cody E.

Great place to ski this winter.
Michael E.
Awesome family ski vacation destination!!
Kenneth R.
I was young when I first visited Crystal Mountain. The drive up to entrance was magical as the sky was covered by snow covered bare tree branches. Like driving through a tunnel leading to wooden winter wonderland. Amazing ski slopes for all ranges of experience level. Definitely a must do in Michigan during the winter.
Pistol21
Lots of night runs open even for beginners
Chris K.
Amazing service, beautiful quaint resort. Great for kids and beginners
David R.
I use to ski here 20 years ago.... the hills are mostly the same, but the level of service from the rental area and ski instructors has improved immensely!!! Also the spa and health area was very nice.
Dawn G.

Crystal Mountain Ski Resort is very nice and well maintained. There was a very good variety and mix of slopes. Prices are reasonable.
Mary Lou T.
Our room in the main lodge was lovely. Beautiful bathroom. Comfortable bed. No cell service in room, though could access in lobby.
Sanford A.
Nice staff
Francois D.
Great skiing
Christopher C.
Reasonable prices for skiing. However the food prices are a bit ridiculous for the quality and quantity. Go for the fun, not the food. It's the best place to spend a day during the winter near Traverse City and well worth the drive.
Mark P.
Fantastic operation wether you have family or are coming to Ski/Golf
Karen B.
Crystal is such a great Midwest ski/golf resort. The high speed 4 person chair gets crowded on Saturdays during high ski season Ski lessons are very encouraging. The employees are very friendly, and truely want your business.

Janete Birck N.
Really nice place, with tons of activities and well cared for. Most buildings are new and the staff is always helpful.
Ted Z.
Great little ski resort that is very beginner friendly. That staff have always been very nice and that offer with wide variety of accommodations to stay at. They do lack size and difficultly of their north neighbor, Nubs Nob and the Boynes but they are generally cheaper and they are not as far of a drive if you are coming from the southern part of the stare.
Michael S.
Beautiful mountain to shred the gnar
Ryan C.
Stayed at the resort for a long weekend. Family friendly atmosphere. Room was very clean, staff was great. Ski instructor Scott was phenomenal. He was great with the kids and made the experience wonderful. Will be back next season for sure!
Jena R.
A special shout out to the rental/repair crew. They were very friendly, helpful and fixed my snowboard in a timely manner after the strap broke so I could get back out on the hill. Fun runs for all ages and levels.
Brock S.
Food court area can get a little cramped when skiings busy
Shawna K.
Great family place
Michelle C.
The condo was nice, but our check in was horrible. First of all, their check in time is entirely too late, 5 pm. We arrived at approximately 3, hoping to check in earlier than 5. We didn't get checked in until 5:30. My daughter in law had a conference starting at 6, as well as we had our 2 yr. old Grandson and 8 mo. old Granddaughter. We wanted to be checked in and settled so she felt comfortable getting there on time. When you pay $700 or so for 2 nights, you should be able to check in before 5. Oh, we were offered free coffee, hot chocolate or tea while we waited. Not good enough.
Deb T.
Wonderful place to visit. Time with family. So many things to do.
Kevin K.
Fantastic resort
Scott B.
Grate ski resort for Michigan
Isaac D.
Crystal Mountain offers nearly unlimited runs for skiing and snowboarding. Here is a good place for skiing with kids, there are a plethora of intermediate runs for skiers of all competency levels. There are 6 lifts going and dozens of runs. The skiing and snowboarding classes are fantastic and range from class learning to private lessons. In the summer the hill is open to hiking, disc golfing and all sorts of recreational uses.
Drew C.
Staff is nice and lodge is very clean. Bring your own lunch and have a winter picnic inside. Look ahead of time to buy discounted lift tickets online.
Kyle B.
Great price, great slopes, great people!

We always enjoy skiing/staying at Crystal Mountain. The customer service is always the best and the facilities are wonderful.

Rented Skis and stayed in the Hamlet. Just one night and the only amenity we really used were the slopes but it was a great time. Had lunch and breakfast in the tomato, pricey but that's to be expected. Pretty good food.

Great resort very nice places to stay and always has an awesome terrain park.
Abby T.
It's absolutely beautiful!
Greg W.
A great family resort.
Courtney S.
We stayed in the new legacy suites, and the rooms are beautiful! Very spacious with lots of amenities, including heated floors in the bathroom. The location was great too, near the front desk and the new market area. The front desk workers were great to deal with, and quite pleasant and helpful. My only issues would be that the heated towel rack didn't seem to work, and there was a hair left on the wall of the shower from a previous occupant, but these are very minor issues that did not affect the quality of my stay. Dinner at The Thistle was delicious, as was the muffin I grabbed from the Bru Bar for breakfast.
Tammy G.
Beautiful resort, warm welcoming, something for everyone to do.

Awesome place to snowboard.

Amazing slopes, sadly I haven't returned this year

Cool mountain, great slopes. Bunny hill gets a little crowded.
Paul M.
Everyone at Crystal Mountain is very friendly and helpful. Our suite at Kinlochen had plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. There were only short lines at the lifts on Sunday and no lines on Monday. We had a great time, even though the slopes were pretty icy.
Jackie K.
Great skiing for all skill levels. Many slopes to choose from. Good lodging and restaurant options in a quaint setting.
Leila N.
Great skiing destination. 8 lifts in total and each lift takes you to a spot with easy, moderate, or advances trails. You won't be stuck. The staff are helpful and kind. Lots of parking available even on a busy Saturday. Rentals available.

Everything was great
Danielle G.
Great skiing, lovely accommodations.

I stayed at one of the Wintergreen rental homes with my husband and two other couples. It was a three bedroom, two bathroom unit, that had very comfortable beds, extremely clean bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen for prroaring your own meals, a wood burning fireplace and a small laundry stacked unit in a closet. We skied for two days and liked the variety of paths down the slopes. The fitness center locker rooms were clean and we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. We will definitely go again. I thought it was affordable and s hood value.
Nirmal K.
Good
Cindy H.
By far the best all around ski area in Michigan.
Nicole L.
I have been going to Crystal Mountain for several years. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere and the especially friendly staff. I do hope they update thier exsisting facilities before building more.

Love love love this place. Firstly they are Dog Friendly!! Accomodations are beautiful. Food is awesome. Have stayed twice there and will definitely return. Ski in and ski out on the mountain. The rosemary mint spa toiletries are fantastic. I even bought the dispenser and refills for my shower at home. Quality of snow and runs and chairlifts are top notch. We'll be back with our pooches, thanks!
Greg P.
I didn't stay overnight. The slopes are really nice, and the lifts are newer. I would go back.
Hernan C.
Mountain was groomed well and all runs were open
Pksa Karate O.
Our first family ski trip, our kids loved it! So much to do if you want to take. Break from slopes. Other added activities do cost extra, equipment rental is a bit pricey, so just keep all those added extras in mind when planning a trip here. Beautiful place!!

Sandy H.
Great food!

Great skiing experience
Gary B.
Having a good time skiing and boarding with family.
A B.
I've never had a bad experience. We've been 3 times and the accessibility, friendliness, and customer service is what others should strive for. We are already planning our next trip. The grounds are spectacular and in the winter I love to describe the little village as what I would imagine the North Pole to look like.
Cole O.
I had purchased a ticket for Crystal Mountain and a nasty snow storm had came in they night before. So we had decided to go skiing another day. I had purchased my ticket on Liftopia a week prior to this snow storm and they have a strict no refund policy. So I called them and explain to them that we weren’t able to make the trip. So the manager of the rental and lift ticket center, Mike, had gone out of his way to refund me my money for the day weren’t able to make it. In exchange for me purchasing a ticket on another date. Very impressed with the customer and the skiing is always great.
Mark G.
I always hesitate to ski at Crystal. Pro: Decent mix of terrain, high speed lift, friendly staff. Con: nothing else in the neighborhood, front slope has long finishing flat, lodging prices are rather high. The place to go when you are not up for the longer drive to nubs or boyne.
Jarrod C.
Didnt hire me...dont likem

Was there for New Years. That weekend was single digits cold. That didn't stop the area's cozy magic feel that radiated that weekend. Fresh powder fell all night each night for a fresh untouched frosty morning outside. Being from southern Michigan its been better than a decade since I have seen snowfall like I witnessed at Crystal Mountain. Almost as high as my knees and ever falling still. Felt as if I had left the Michigan I was used to and arrived in some far away place of frozen beauty.
Carrie H.
Came just to ski for an afternoon, didn't stay in the cabins. Nicely groomed and laid out runs, everything was really well maintained. One thing that was noticeable to me was how well spaced out everything was. There were a fair number of people on the mountain, but I never once felt crowded and didn't have to wait any longer than a minute or two to get on the lifts. Great soups, too!
Julie S.
Great place to snow shoe
Kim C.
Fun place to take the family skiing
Mel M.
Had a great time. Everyone is so friendly!
Arthur J.
Spacious condos and decent slopes.
Julia M.
Family Fun! Crystal is great for all ages and has something to keep everyone entertained from the slopes to the spa!
Philip B.
Great skiing. Nice clean roomy and comfortable rooms. Nice little village with everything you need right there.
Logan K.
It was good

Crystal mountain has a lot to offer skiers and boarders. Terrain park, bumps, wide trails, and my favorite the glades. The food may be expensive but the upstairs bar has live music and shows all the time. I recommend it
Stuntdubbles
It is a great place to snowboard or ski the food is good it is an overall great place to go.
Ken H.
Great place to ski in northern Michigan. Family oriented atmosphere with nice slopes for smaller kids. Also a great ski resort for adults as well. Restaurants & bars available all day long.
Mark B.
It was good

For years we've come to the outdoor hot tub during the winter and the water park in the summer. Loved It! Neither of us are skiers but we like visiting because it's so beautiful. In December we tried going to the hot tub, were halfway there and called to be told no one was at the desk and since we weren't guests we wouldn't have access without purchasing some type of pass. Today we CALLED ahead to be sure and were guaranteed someone was there until 10 and hot tub was open. Got there a little after 5pm and were told they closed the hot tub because of a boiler issue. Needless to say we won't be going back anymore. It's a 30 minute drive and twice in the last month we've wasted our time and gas for nothing.
Ross T.
Skiing is a great, good times!
Zach C.
Great rooms! Decent pricing and skiing was amazing! All the workers are extremely friendly. The food and drink was very good as well!

Fun place to ski but price has gone up over the years. Hills are really fun and the indoor accommodations are top notch. There's even a waffle shop at the foot of the hills!
Ariana P.
Crystal has incredible skiing, however, the lift tickets are getting extremely overpriced. I'm part of a family of 5, so lift tickets for my family are unreasonably expensive in comparison to the competition, such as Caberfae and Schuss mountain. My family also dearly misses the boarder-x course on the North Face and the half-pipe. I love the availability of the Crystal Center for families. I also enjoyed the New Years Eve torch light celebration.
Christina S.
Beautiful resort!

Skiing was great food and lodge in general were mediocre at best

Crystal- amazing as always! Tons of people and I wish they had more seating in the cafeteria but other than that no complaints! The skiing is always great, love their runs!
Stephanie E.
Great day of skiing!
Diana S.
I love this place! I come to the spa whenever I have a chance. They are very nice! Skiing is perfect here. Lots of natural snow and their snow making crew does an excellent job. I highly recommend coming here.
Billy R.
It had some nice skiing
Thomas S.
The conditions were excellent! There was very good flow to the lift lines, eventhough it was very busy. One major drawback at Crystal is the lack of indoor public space. The space that was available was very overcrowded for capacity. Crystal is a great family resort and they seem to do a great job maintaining that.
Luke H.
Had a great timing snowboarding between Christmas and New year's! 58/58 runs open, lots of cold, fast snow, and a great well managed resort made for an awesome trip! A little pricey compared to other area ski resorts but the high quality staffing, lodging options, and overall reaort experience make Crystal a repeat favorite for me!
Rachel H.
Probably the best skiing you will find in Michigan. Pretty expensive.
Mine R.
Great place for what it was. We stayed summertime so wouldn't know about the skiing. But we had trails to hike, tennis and there was a summer toboggan or slide or something. Slid down the thing. Also stayed right at the top of one of the peaks, and when the fireworks were going off, at the bottom of the hill, they exploded just above our line of site. Nice.
Jerry F.
The blue and black runs were perfect. It was cold but snow was gteat
Dustin O.
Nice resort with some good runs. Not many tree runs which are my fav but still a good and fun place to go!
Chase O.
Great place, great people
Josh M.
Nice clean
Cara B.
It was a good place to ski for a day or two
Cory V.
First time snowboarding at Crystal mountain, and I had a blast!
Pepper S.
visiting with a friend at the bar, and some skiing. was a decent trip, drinks and service were ok, could of had better attitudes from the service personnel. our server was kind of snotty. slopes where perfect.
Jacob B.
Great location and the staff were very friendly
Liam E.
Amazing place. Beautiful views and plenty variety of hills. A cozy lodge to take a break in. It is overall a great place to go and Ski or Snowboard. Very pretty nice rooms and well cleaned. 10/10 recommend.
Geralyn M.
Beautiful location with upscale accommodations, but very densely populated. Also very pricey, even off season. Outdoor art gallery is a must see. Not easily accessed...in the middle of nowhere. Excellent friendly staff, especially in the restaurant.
Matthew D.
Came here in the fall to look out over the autumn colors. A little confusing figuring out where to go, but the view was incredible.
Genie C.
Awe 3

Great day, fresh tracks and a lenticular
Mark F.
Great Mid West Skiing!
James A.
I love it. My first time there I was in a car accident at the entrance (my fault) but was there the next day skiing and have been a few times now. I have really only gone skiing but from what I have seen and done it is pretty cool. It is a huge resort. Kind of a small lodge which is mostly a cafeteria for there expensive food (My only complaint). With an as big as you can get here in MI ski hill. Great place to ski and a great array of hills and difficulty. If your looking for a place to ski this is it. Plus a bunch of other stuff but I have not done it.
Lylithianna F.
My dad works here is name is Ricky
Mark S.
This was my first time at Crystal Mountain. Everyone from the cashiers to the lift operators were exceptionally helpful and polite. The rental skis were like new and performed better than expected. The slopes were groomed perfectly. Wait time for the lift was the shortest I've seen anywhere. I'll definitely be back.
S E.
The best resort for all seasons
Aaron M.
Meh
Lynn R.
Grooming was excellent on Thursday
Richard M.
Beautiful resort - everything you need is within walking distance - slopes are fantastic!

Bryce R.
Great service, good slopes, lots of parking. Very family friendly
Garrett J.
Everyone there was relaxed and friendly. The mountain was great, food was decent as well.
Susan
One night in the lodge and 2 days at the spa felt like a week vacation!
Peter L.
I had a great time. Stayed on the mountain top with a big group. I lost my lift ticket on the second day, and even though I look like a teenage up to no good, they trusted me and gave me another ticket.
Morgan H.
My sister's have worked there for years, great place!
Tiffy S.
love it beautoful and super friendly
Thomas C.
Great place to take a long weekend get away. A lot of things to do including skiing, golf, pool, water park, spa, restaurants. :)
Matthew W.
I snowboard at Crystal, and I love it. I bought the season pass and it was definitely worth it. I came out to snowboard just about every day during the winter. The cafe inside has a lot of nice people working in there, and they make it even more enjoyable. The runs are nice and I love how they are constantly changing how the terrain park is, whether it's adding a new rail, or moving it around.
Samer E.
Great location, the surrounding area was top notch. More than I could have asked for.
Kevin S.
Good family ski area, lots to do and eat. Nice rooms. Hill is better than some but not best in the state. Skiing for all levels. They do have some woods and ungroomed areas
Aaron H.
good
Silas B.
Awesome place
Henry Jr A.
Good snow quality n good ski trails
Shane H.
I spent the day skiing. There is a variety of slopes and they are often sufficiently challenge, though they quickly become boring. The food is overpriced, but the hot chocolate was still worth it (but terrible fries!). My favorite food of the weekend came from the pizza place down the road.
Deborah R.
Beautiful spot for skiing, family gathering, dinner, and lots of fun. Service is awesome.
Nilanthy B.
Great skiing/snowboarding. We stayed at Pinehurst and it was lovely. Dinner at Thistle is always a great night out if you're feeling a bit fancier.
Andrew G.
Horrible staff and service. I'm never going there again
Nicolae P.
Beautiful place.
Frank G.
Great fun, something for everyone in the family.
Ryan C.

Awesome stay and service.make sure to get a ski palace deal.
Trista R.
Had a blast!
Jessica
Haven't had the full experience, only slept here for business conference. Found a couple of fleas in the room. Food was mediocre.
Larry S.
Great. In every detail
Paul D.
Crystal mountain is an absolute gem to the Mic higan area. Not the biggest mountain in the US, but the amount of ammenties offered and the prices are totally worth a trip for a day or a season!
Howie
Amazing accommodations at a very reasonable cost. First time to Crystal Mountain & looking forward to many return visits!
Jessie T.
Shared a condo with friends. It was very nice, gas fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen /bar and a nice restaurant below us on the main floor. Best part didn't have to drive to go play golf. They have shops, stores and an excellent massage place.
Shari A.
Very pretty
Ryan K.
Best resort in Michigan hands down. If I remember right they are in top 100 in country or something like that.... Highly recommend for couple's or families to visit... Golf, disc golf, Alpine slide, multiple swim and water areas. Even winter sports like skiing and snowboarding.... If you are thinking of this place... Stop thinking and book a vacation with them....
Joel R.
Lots to do a little expensive but the mountian slide was fun for about 4 runs.
Gary W.
Facilities are beautiful and well planned. Developers have done an excellent job designing the property.
Andrew R.
Our first room in Crystal Colony wasn't great. The room was outdated and after the hot water stopped working twice in the first night we requested a new room. They then moved us to a suite at The Inn which was much nicer.
Michelle H.
Very nice...

We recently stayed at Crystal Mountain. Our first room was in crystal colony. Room was very dated. Kind of reminded me of an old dingy basement. Our room was right next to the walkway so we had to leave drapes closed otherwise people could see right in. Sheets had stains and room had an odd smell...almost like bug spray? First night our hot water went out and maintenance came to fix it at 1130 pm. Next morning hot water went out again so they said they were moving us to the main building. Huge inconvenience as we were traveling with a young child and a baby. Had to pack everything up, put it in car and then bring it all back into another room. We weren't offered any sort of "perks" for this besides and "upgraded" room at main hotel. I asked if we could get some $ off but was given breakfast vouchers instead. We noticed hardly anyone else was staying in crystal colony and now know why. New room was nice. Clean and no funky smells. Beds were comfortable. Our daughter got sick while on our trip and housekeeping was great about cleaning our room. They came immediately and were efficient and helpful. I offered to clean up if I could use some of the supplies but they insisted on doing it and were very professional and courteous. I am not sure what their wage is but it's not enough for the job they have to do! To sum up: Cons: Crystal colony dated rooms Smelled funky Non working hot water Basement vibe Huge inconvenience of having to switch rooms the day after we arrived. Pro: Inn suite was clean and comfortable Housekeeping Front desk staff was friendly
Kitty R.
Turkey Vulture Trot and the Crystal Mountain Buffet - a Thanksgiving tradition!
Jacob C.
Crystal Mountain is a great place for family’s. It is an inclusive resort meaning there is no need to go off the property, they have it all. The golf course is always well maintained. Some golfers can get a little rowdy but the rangers make sure to shut them up. There is so much to do there so I would recommend grabbing a brochure just to see all the activities. Crystal changes every year and is always expanding. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay around the area.
Matthew W.
Service was excellent, staff was friendly and professional, food was well prepared.
Cheryl M.
Nice, but has changed over the years have been going since 1974.. I was able to afford it with my children even as a single mom. Now it's fancy but tickets are expensive even with student programs.
Joe C.
Love the entire resort! It was a pure pleasure to spend my week on property. The staff from front desk, spa, restaurants and house keeping are amazing!
Reginald W.
Wonderful place for family and friends
Steve R.
It has snow sometimes
Vinny M.
This was the first time for us and it was absolutely the most amazing time. Everyone at Crystal Mountain exceeded our expectations and the amenities were phenomenal.
Lauren O.
this is an amazing place during the snowy season!!!!
Amy B.
The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The resort and spa landscape is beautiful and the room was perfect and the little touches were wonderful.
Erin M.
Great place for a family get away
Joe R.
Facilities are outdated. Things to do around the resort are limited. Golf courses are amazing though!
Emily B.
Didnt stay sat in the parking lot waiting for a friend
Chris W.
Always great amenities for whatever your event might be!
Roei S.

A friend and I went to watch the Peak2Peak mountain bike classic. The events seem well organized. It was really nice that they had vegetarian options for food there.
Aaron H.
Great all seasons resort, well presented with a helpful staff.
Greg H.
Nice course views
Ernest M.
Great golf, friendly staff
Patrick K.
Great place to stay for a weekend or the week.
Angela B.
Big, spacious rooms located near other popular destinations like Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Pet friendly in Hamlet property only. Not much to do if it's raining.
Suzanne B.
I would have LOVED to give this stay 5 stars. There were so many wonderful things about the resort. The condo we stayed in (mountain view) was clean and exceeded our expectations for space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The amenities (shampoo etc) were really nice and I loved the dispensers they felt much more home like than the tiny bottles. The beds were really comfotable and bedding was nice. Overall, we were happy. Our minor disappointments included the paper products and living room furniture. For how nice and spa like everything else was, I did not expect such cheap and thin toilet paper ? Paper towel in the kitchen was similar quality although obviously less bothersome. The furniture in the living room was so uncomfortable. Such a bummer! We went away with my parents to spend some time together and none of us felt like we could sit comfortably in the living room. The last night we were there, we were all watching the same football game in our individual rooms in bed to avoid sitting on the couch and chairs. Time to invest in something more comfortable. We vacationed for a long weekend for the sake of relaxation so we honestly didn't spend much time exploring the resort or participating in activities. That being said, our young kids (2 and 4) enjoyed the alpine slide and scavenger hunt.
Peggy M.
Our suite was furnished with all the creature comforts anyone would need. The jet tub was really appreciated at the end of a day of golfing. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. So many things to do for every member of the family. It was our first time here. The only down side was we were only here for a weekend. Will come back and stay longer!
Quirico Z.
Came to Crystal mountain for a conference with my significant other. Our suite was comfortable and spacious if not a bit out dated as well. In resort food and beverageoptions were accompanied by a large upcharge, so I'd recommend finding those things off resort. Overall it was pleasant but it didn't exceed expectations for quality, comfort, beauty, or value.
Melinda H.
Crystal Mountain is like it's own little city. When you drive in to the resort there are buildings which look like tiny houses that you can rent. There is also different buildings that have a more traditional hotel setting. There is a spa/fitness area which is truly amazing! The location is beautiful!
Michael P.
Beautiful
A. L. H.
Absolutely beautiful!
Asma R.
Good place to visit
Jan W.
We love it here, it is our favorite place to celebrate our anniversary (and we have for the past two years! ????) also our favorite mini vacation location with our family.
Jordan F.
I have stayed here many times over the years. Great place to get away for a long weekend. I come back now for an annual conference and the place still looks great.
David E.
Lots of excitement here
Docmgt D.
Love Mountain Ridge
Yeimy G.
Beautiful condo that let my kids and dog feel at home.
Matthew B.
Beautiful location with a lot to do. Activities at the adventure zone were reasonably priced and we had a lot of fun. Spa staff was helpful.
Kailee W.
Alpine slide was a blast!
Blake L.
Great location for any occasion! This spot in Michigan is wonderful any time of the year. The accommodations are clean and spacious. Enjoy a trip up north to Crystal Mountain and you won't regret the peace and tranquility that it offers.
Samuel B.
Rude staff most of the time, except for Sue at The Wild Tomato!
Rich E.
Great
Christopher S.
Attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. Grabbed a bite to eat from thistle grille afterward and had some of the best truffle fries of my life.
Mike S.
Great resort. Spectacular golf.
Reem Z.
Very clean and safe place, where fun begins
Greg C.
I visited for a friend's wedding and reception. It's a beautiful place for both. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Perfect place for a reception!
A Y.
Great resort, with plenty of activities to do in the summer and fall months.
Mandie C.
Too expensive
Mark D.
Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of activities for whole family. Would love additional dining options.

Great lodge
Suzi O.
Nice room but zero food and beverage after 10pm.
Charlie S.
Awesome resort in beautiful place, highly recommend for summer and winter visit
Jack R.
Stayed in one of houses it was very nice plenty of beds super bad wifi
Jordan J.
Attended Crystal Mountain to disc golf. Not a very well kept course. Only 9 holes with loose sand tee pads. Almost every shot to the basket is blind with no clear indication of where to throw or where to go next. Any missed shot sends you off the mountain so just say good bye to that disc. Bugs were out of control even with spray. Play at your own risk, there are better local places to play. As an establishment as a whole Crystal Mountain was beautiful with a lot of different events and activities to keep any family having fun for the whole weekend.
Lucy R.
Blast
Joe R.
A great place to stay when in the area. We always have a great stay.
Lotto
They need to spread the golfers out in different courses. Stacked golfers on Mountain Ridge. Accommodations were good but the wait on the golf course is enough for me to not come back.
Saurav M.
Strenuous hike. \m/ view of Mount Rainier from the top. Accessible via gondolas.
Aldrin M.
This place might be a lot better at winter. The mountain slide is worth every dollar. I'd say get a day pass ($25/person) for the slide. If you're an adult stay away from all the other adventure stuff, they're pretty much targeted for kids. You'll have fun too,but not worth it in my honest opinion.
Preston A.
Great resort!
Summer J.
Not exited ride it's very difficult but swimming pool may be kids will enjoy
Chava B.
Lovely place with great views and an excellent staff
William H.
Limited time there - just overnight. But very attractive place. Nice rooms, good food, good experience.
Matthew P.
The room was clean and free of any odd smells, and the bathroom was very nice. But, I expected a little more space and a nicer bed for the price. It was the worst mattress I've slept on in a place that costs well over a hundred per night. There was also a deep humming vibration noise we could hear all night during our second night there that made it even harder to sleep.
Nick T.
Paintball was very fun! Nick helped us record our paintball games with the cameras that we brought.
Nicki R.
The grandkids loved it. We had a great time.
Jennifer B.
Great resort for families. Came for the day and purchased the $35 day activity pass. More than worth it. Lots of activities to keep both children and their parents happy. Outdoor pool was clean and well kept. Nice activities (ropes course and climbing wall not too hard for kids). Alpine slide was very fun! Ate lunch at the Thistle pub and grill. Service, food and drinks were excellent.
Ronald L.
Went with the family looking to build memories! Crystal Mountain offers plenty of attractions, the problem was availability and price. Each activity had a cost associated with it. Given the time we visited, it would be hard to reap the values of the unlimited pass, in addition a lot of the activities were not covered. Even a walk through the woods required a $5 "donation."
Michelle M.
We had a blast on the mountain coaster
Nanette G.
Our family rented a home at Crystal Mountain. The home was lovely and we loved the large screened in porch. The biggest drawback for us was the the resort's distance from any town. Frankfort was 25 minutes away. While there are things to do at the resort, we went through them quickly. We went to the Platt River to paddle down the river which was very nice. We enjoyed Frankfort, Glen Arbor, and rock collecting in Empire. Because we had a home and planned on cooking most of our meals, it worked out well for us. The on site restaurants were mediocre so for the other meals we drove to Frankfort. If you plan on going, bring plenty of supplies with you, and if you want to eat out, plan on driving.
L B.
played disc golf and wasn't impressed with how sloppy course was with many old empty beer cans laying around that's faded from sitting in sun for months and broke signs everywhere always thought crystal mountain took good care of course but I realize they only focus on their curb appearance to get people attention but once you pay their prices and play you will see why people don't play there again
Holly F.
Great family vacation! Incredibly clean rooms and facilities. Great staff at the slides, pools, rock wall, disc golf, and front office. My kids range in age from 12 to 20 and we all had an amazing time. Will definitely return! Highly recommend !!!!
Mylogicwins
Lots of fun things to do around. Internet was bit sketchy, and beds were alright. But all around was a great experience.
April D.
Nice place. Lots of fun
Andrew I.
We stayed at the cottages and absolutely loved it. The creek behind the unit had some frogs that my 2 year old was fascinated with. We played at the water park area, ate at kinlochin, and grabbed lunch at the bistro. Everything was excellent!
Alexa L.
Our server was absolutely fantastic and very accommodating. The food and drinks were awesome! Highly recommend their Moscow Mules.
Jeremy G.
Two very enjoyable courses. Mountain ridge has some great views and challenging holes.
Mark D.
Very nice golf course and accommodations
Stephen K.
Played both courses. Prices for greens fees were ok. Found the staff to be snotty and not welcoming. Other items are over priced. Wouldn't golf there again for considering the courses in the area.
Lily W.
Loved the alpine slide and they had super nice workers
Shawn P.
Absolutely beautiful the staff is amazing and the food is amazing.
Aric B.
Fun to take to take the ski lifts and get a view of the summer sunset.
Aj L.
Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, gold was awesome!
Jennifer G.
I loved it even though I did tip my little toboggan thing going down the slid! I got scraped up pretty good but I still went down it six more times! It was Awesome! If you don't like getting scraped up then go kinda slow!
Jason R.
Visited the Alpine Slide, it was fun.
Ashlyn S.
We rode the slide. The customer service was amazing!!
Ben K.
Nice grounds, and the Alpine Slide was a lot of fun, the kids loved it!
Pat M.
Good. Pleasant staff, clean, nice setting, and grounds were very well maintained. Very peaceful place to take a relaxing break. There is a lot of things for families to do. Kids would have a blast.
Michael L.
Went to Crystal mountain for a wedding. Stayed nearby at an Airbnb. There were good activities for those that did not have any event to attend .
Charles G.
Very nice golf course. Well maintained facility. Saw a lot of people biking and riding the mountain slide.
Gary H.
Great place!
Amanda K.
Super fun family experience!
Xavier F.
Really good and fun
David H.
Here for a wedding, been very well done so far.
Missy B.
We were daytime guests. We used the pool and did the Alpine slide. There was also a rock wall and zip line, but we didn't do those. Everything was priced out individually, one price for everything would have been a nice option.
Susan Z.
So much to do!
Tom L.
Went to ride the down hill slide and had a great time.
Donovan A.
Their new facilities are looking great. So glad to see an expanding gem in the tip of the mitt.
John H.
Beautiful place. Excellent alpine ride.
Shane C.
Officiated a friends wedding here. Beautiful scenery, very nice staff. It was beautifil.
Tanna D.
The staff was friendly and very helpful and respectful. Very few places always respond courteous and respectful no matter the situation. I am beyond impressed with Crystal mountain and the staff
Heidi P.
Definitely wish more was available/open, shops, places to eat etc
Kyle C.
An amazing array of summer activities for both kids and adults. Top notch.
John B.
Went to the golf driving range. Great fun and wonderful range. $6 Large Bucket and $3 for a small bucket of balls.
Connor C.
quality service, got to see an eagle
Catherine C.
The Alpine Slide was the reason we went. It was so much fun except for when we got stuck. It's supposed to be impossible to get stuck, but the wheels on the cart didn't work. Great experience otherwise.
John B.
Very pretty and friendly
Keefe L.
The rooms were nice. The door cards didn't work too well though. Nice environment. Expensive activities.
Justin
Really great staff nice restaurants and a great view
Johnny R.
Fun for the whole family. The slide is great
Joe C.
The staff here is absolutely amazing. We hsve done all the activities and every single person is so nice and encouraging. Max at the Alpine slide will make a long line go so quickly with his entertainment. Every place we have been have been so clean, food is great. Just plain great. We have been coming for 6 years and will continue to
Chad H.
The room was great and the water park kept us busy the entire time we were there.
Chris S.
Great place! Even in the summer, the hill is beautiful.
Carolyn J.

Jay M.
Rode the Alpine Slide and was great family fun.
Kevin W.
Nice comy resort with good food and activities for the whole family. However overpriced! Can do similar activities throughout mi for half the price
Jacob L.
Went there for the slide. It was worth it.
Jeremy G.
Not sure about the rest of the resort but this review is regarding the alpine slide. Expect to wait forever to ride. Currently been in line for 45 minutes and no where near the front. Guy at the top is THE MOST ANNOYING PERSON IN THE WIRLD!!!!!
Jens V.
It was a perfect day. Clear sky's with a 360 degree view. There was even a wedding taking place at the top of the mountain.
Crystal W.
We went for the rides, it rained so they were all closed. They have us our money back.
Jennifer T.
Alpine slide, fun
Leann C.
Poor customer service, not accommodating to the elderly and not responsive to items left in the room my mistake. No management available. We went over to the Thistle Pub & Grille to get a drink and relax after the long drive. Even though the place was almost empty, we were told we could not sit inside unless we ordered meals. We then decided to get appetizers along with our drinks so we could sit inside. They then s The next day some of the grandchildren were playing on the ropes course and there was not a place for their elderly grandparents to sit. We asked if they could sit in the pool area by going through a gate inside the ropes course and not having to walk all the way around the building. We were told they could not sit inside the pool area, even though they had wrist bands unless they walked by the office entrance. I advised I could walk over and tell the staff at the entrance my parents were sitting inside so my parents would not have to walk so far. They would not allow. It was misting rain and the place was not busy. There is no reason they could not have accommodated. Instead my parents went and sat inside their car and watched from handicapped parking. We checked out on Saturday morning and drove over an hour away to our next stop. I discovered that evening I had left very important papers and a large sum of cash, in the drawer of my hotel room, including my passport. I called the front desk and they advised me they could call security and get back to me. After an hour passed, I felt I had to drive back to Crystal Mountain as this documentation was so important to me and I felt I would have better luck if I was there in person. Over an hour and a half after my initial call, the front desk called back and said nothing was given to lost and found from housekeeping. Once I arrived at Crystal Mountain, the front desk staff advised me they left a message for the family that was currently checked into the room. At my pleading they called the guests cell phones, but did not get an answer. I waited for several hours in hopes of finding my items. Security left us waiting for over 45 minutes and finally said they didn’t know when they would be able to speak to me, this was after me waiting at the resort for over 2-1/2 hours already. I was not allowed to look in lost and found. Finally the front desk gave me a paper to fill out stating I had lost something. They were not willing to provide me any information on how items found in rooms were handled and what steps I might be able to take. I asked if I could speak to someone in housekeeping and the front desk advised someone would call me Sunday morning. I also asked for a manager to call me on Sunday morning. Unbelievably to me, there was no manager available the entire time I was there, at a resort that size. Today is Wednesday evening and I have never received a call from anyone at the resort. On Tuesday, I called and left a voice mail message for Chris McGinnis, one of the owners. I asked him to contact me. I never heard from him. As I was leaving the resort, the person at the front desk mumbled “sorry”. No one at the resort ever tried to offer help, comfort or show any concern at all for something that was very important to one of their guests. They resisted helping us and seemed irritated at any requests for information. My son and I sat outside the guests room for over an hour waiting the for guests to come back to their room. When they did return, we explained the situation and they very graciously let us enter their room and look for my documents. They restored our faith in humanity and general kindness, even though the items were not found in the room at that time. There are many beautiful places to stay in Michigan and Crystal Mountain is indeed very pretty, but I feel money and time would be better spent and appreciated at another destination. My family will never stay at Crystal Mountain again and I would suggest you make arrangements to stay elsewhere.
Chad B.
Very cool unique experience, we rode our bikes, checked out the Tesla's and watched people fly down the slide. It was a nice stop on our bike tour.
Keagan T.
Mountain Sports ski shop at Crystal Mountain has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff.
Charles B.
Great golf courses, pro shop and restaurants!
Joe V.
Played a round at 7am and it was magical, amazing course, beautiful views, and great service at the restaurants
Hill F.
Extremely extremely nice staff great with anyone fun everything. Slow chairlift but pretty fast pace place, quite far out although
Samar Q.
Not the best hotel I been to. There is no activities here at all. The houses here are very old. I don't recommend it at all.
Elise W.
Went to ride Alpine slide, but it was closed due to rain.
Kimberlee F.
We purchased an all day pass for the Alpine Slide. Great fun and well run. Though there were close to 30 peep in line the young men were moving riders through quickly. Especially amazing considering the need to w ait for an occasional small child riding very slow. My only gripe is children should be required to ride with an adult so they don't hold others up.
Sandy B.
Met with Carmen Kott wedding coordinator, and was very impressed with her knowledge of the resort and it's wedding packages.
Colin L.
The service was amazing the alpine slide was amazing the pool is amazing overall it's amazing
Tami B.
Beautiful property situated in Benzie County that offers year-round activities.
Fred G.
Great golf. Nice restaurants that are reasonable in cost. Everything you need in one location.
Karen K.
Highly recommend the Adventure Zone activities! The ride down the mountain is one to remember.
Terra R.
Love our annual conference visit to Crystal. Several evening activities after a day of work - walking in the art park or going to the spa are my favorites.
Patrick L.
Beautiful setting for a conference in Northern Michigan
