Very pleasant place . A hidden sanctuary with a nice waiting area and very reasonable prices . Some of the best massages I have received here in nyc . Sweet , kind and welcoming staff . Packages available which is also a plus .

Their service is great, but customer service through the front desk leaves much to be desired - probably due to insufficient training. After having been on multiple occasions, I had an appointment there (scheduled via ClassPass) a few days ago. I arrived late, which is entirely my fault, and was told on arrival that my massage could not be completed in the time left, and that they would communicate with ClassPass to get my credits refunded, which I thought was a nice gesture. It later turned out the front desk employee never reached out to ClassPass as she had promised, and so I lost both my ClassPass credits and was charged a no-show fee. I called the studio and they said none of what had been discussed was true, and that it was my word against the employee's. I will not be returning, and would caution you against believing what the front desk promises.

Came here through ClassPass and was blown away by how good my therapist
(Kevin) was. Got the deep tissue massage and he really worked out a lot of the tightness from my muscles, which relieved so much stress from my body. I didn't even mention the areas i wanted him to focus on, but he could feel them and progressively applied more and more (but not too much) pressure to make me feel very rejuvenated.

I booked a Swedish massage via Class Pass. My BF booked a deep tissue via Class Pass as well, at the same time. It was nice that they let us use one room and have a “couples massage”. However, the massage was only okay. They never asked about what our problem areas were. My masseuse also couldn’t get the pressure right. There were many times when she was going HAM and I had to tell her to ease up. But then there were other times where it just felt like a light touch.
They have a tipping chart by the front desk so that you can tip on the original price of the massage. We realized after we tipped and left that it was incorrect - the tip prices were marked up (wish I had taken a photo). Not sure if they’re aware of this...
At least the facilities seemed clean.

Trash organization.... over the phone customer service sucks. If there is ever a problem..the manager is rarely there I'm told by a employee. The manager needs to work on her customer service skills when calling back potential clients to resolve issues because all she does is talk in circles and the only word she knows is "store credit".

I got the 45-minute Swedish massage. For the first 10 minutes, the masseuse worked with a towel over my entire body—no skin to skin contact. That seemed strange and didn’t feel good, it was a starchy, scratchy towel. Then she folded the towel over and started the massage. While it was better than the over-the-towel bit, it still wasn’t great. It felt like someone performing what they thought a massage should be like, complete with that hand-chopping thing and the thumbs massaging the upper neck thing. (I had the thought several times during the massage that my partner’s massages were objectively better). It actually wasn’t calming at all—I was tensing up my shoulders for half of it & she did something to my jaw that still hurts a day later. She then ended the massage with 10 minutes of over-the-towel work. While the staff & my masseuse were nice and pleasant, unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.
Edited to add: I forgot to mention that the masseuse left twice to get hot towels and both times left the door wide open with my half-covered naked body on the table!

I have a bad back so I was really excited to get a calming aromatherapy massage. I arrived and was greeted by a warm front desk gal. Cute place. I was asked my preference to a masseur or a masseuse to which I preferred a masseuse. My request was granted only to be told five minutes later it would have to be a masseur. Not my preference and annoying, but whatever that’s fine. I was shown to a room and given about 30 seconds to change before the masseur came barging in. No knocking. After repeatedly saying “one moment please” he did the same thing, THREE TIMES. I found out he spoke not a lick of English and didn’t understand. It was 45 minutes of what felt like untrained and unprofessional pain. I have a bad back but due to the lack of English, my repeated requests for “lighter pressure” and hand gestures went unnoticed. So my flinching in pain must have gone unnoticed too. One day later and I’m in extreme pain causing me to think these folks aren’t trained. The communication made it impossible. To make it worse, the music was skipping (let’s be honest that’s super annoying), there was no hint of “aromatherapy” and an employee barged in half way through rummaging around for something creating a lot of noise.
Painful, unpleasant, odd and I would not recommend going back here again. I didn’t really think a massage could turn out like this, even if mediocre. I was wrong.

THE WORST MASSAGE ! felt like a child was playing with playdo - best way to describe the "rub" I received because it was no massage. I asked her to go harder and she just rubbed my skin harder. she had no technique, no clue, and when I complained at the end because SHE LEFT THE ROOM MULTIPL TIMES she told me "well you fell asleep"... so someone dozes off and you stop a massage and leave the room?? TERRIBLE -then she tried DEMANDING a 20% tip.... out of control I don't know how this place stays open. LivingSocial thankfully refunded my money and will limit their vouchers. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

Jenny was great! She checked in every now and then to make sure the pressure was right, and was generally just very respectful and polite. Would go again, though probably not for full price (I just don't have that much disposable income). But I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who can regularly afford it!

My expectations were both high and MET. The service was impeccable and there were too many times I almost fell asleep b/c it was that relaxing! The herbs really do ease any tension, physically or mentally. It's a must for anyone looking to clear their mind and relax their muscles.

This place is a hidden gem!!! The reception and the staff were very nice, the massage was AMAZING!!! I'm glad I found this place and def. recommending people to check this out. I had a massage and a facial and the facial was a simple one so they should invest more on that. Otherwise it's a great place!!

Never go here...there aren't professional..she was reading a hand written note to do the facial and my face didn't look any freaking different after all that time..I even waited a week just to be sure and nothing! Their prices are exorbitant especially for the lack of quality or professionals..don't do it and if u do, I told u so

I took my husband here for his birthday, to get a couples massage. He's a bit shy and they made us both comfortable and melted away every ounce of stress and pain. It was absolutely perfect. If I didn't live so far away, I'd make a bad habit of going too often.

This whole thing was a scam. These are not trained massage therapists, and she did most of the massage with a towel on top of my body. Not sure about the facialist either. One of the products was burning my skin. And at the end, I was informed of a $5 "Groupon fee", which I was told, "is in the fine print." Never heard that one before! I must say that everyone was very sweet and helpful, but this operation is a scam.

The spa is in a great location. Inside, it is clean, elegant, and relaxing. The massage and facial were decent. Why only 2 stars? The scheduling was a nightmare, and that's something that rarely ruins an experience for me. I made a reservation a month in advance and they called to confirm a massage first and then a facial.
I watched a Caucasian girl come in for the same treatments in the reverse order. The receptionist started whispering and deliberating with the esthetician. Then, they tell me that the facial is first. Three red flags in a row. The facial was okay, no extractions, and the products felt nice on my skin. Before leaving, they tell me the massages are packed and they will be delayed at least 30 minutes, and to wait in the entrance area. The fact that they had an inkling from their whispering and did not inform me from the start was very sleazy. They even blatantly gave the Caucasian girl my schedule, so that makes me wonder if this is a race play.
Either way, the relaxing day I planned months ago was now stressful. To add insult to injury, when I went to reschedule the massage, the receptionist tried to tell me that they weren't free for a while. I saw her do it to other people on the phone. I promptly cut her off and told her that I hauled ass to get here, made the reservation a long time ago, will have to come back on another day, and would prefer that they make some sort of scheduling accommodation for a time ASAP for my trouble. The fact that I had to even tell her this made this an abominable experience.
From the start, they should have apologized and offered an incentive to come back, or simply rescheduled both treatments. As for the massage, it was very good and the room was comfortable. There was no mention beforehand of a male masseuse and I can see how other women might find this problematic. However, the male masseuse was very courteous and had good technique. Since I have been playing tennis recently, he instantly pinpointed a tight, unbalanced right shoulder. That was the highlight of this experience.
